Dave Holloway Sends Search Dog to Aruba to Search for Missing Natalee Holloway
New Search in Aruba by Dave Holloway …
Dave Holloway has sent a search dog and handler to Aruba to look for his missing daughter Natalee Holloway. The search was supposed to be of a small reservoir in Northwestern Aruba. It has been nearly 4 years since then 18 year old Natalee Holloway went missing in Aruba after leaving Carlos n’ Charlie’s with Joran Van der Sloot, Deepak Kalpoe and Satish Kalpoe.
Despite the search dogs being sent to Aruba at the request of Dave Holloway, the Aruban prosecutors officer stated that there were no new leads in the case of missing Natalee Holloway.
Ann Angela, a spokeswoman for the Aruba Prosecutors’ Office, said the dog is searching a small reservoir in northwestern Aruba that witnesses have previously identified as a location where Holloway’s remains might be found.
Why would there be another search after all this time? According to Dave Holloway’s attorney, Vinda de Sousa, Dave insisted on another search of the reservoir after a witness identified this area as a possible location. The witness passed a lie detector test in the U.S, also HERE and HERE. It is being reported that Beth Holloway was unaware of the development and declined further comment.
As reported at AL.com, the latest search for Natalee Holloway in Aruba has not turned up her body.
According to a press release written only in Dutch and titled “No remains of Natalee Holloway Found,” an investigator accompanied by a dog arrived on the island today to search a flooded area. That area has been pinpointed in the past by a witness, but the prosecutor’s office has said before and reiterated today that it has no reason to believe Holloway’s body would be found there.

UPDATE I: Golba Makes 9th trip to Aruba on behalf of the Holloway family
Golda plans to comb the Aruban pond for any signs of Natalee’s remains or van der Sloot’s sneaker. He says, “I want to stick in my arm from my elbow to my shoulder and feel for bones and Joran’s sneaker…If we can find that sneaker in there than that whole pond becomes a crime scene and changes the playing game.”
UPDATE I: Fred Golba and search dog Rhino to Aruba
Golba says a witness has just come forward with new information about the lead suspect in the case, Joran van der Sloot. He believes Holloway’s body was dumped in a pond near the hotel where she was last seen.
Fred Golba, Natalee Holloway Foundation: “Joran van der Sloot waited out here in the water and, you know, went out chest-deep and let her body go in this retention pond.

Rudy Croes Obstructed Justice: Minister Croes of Justice Finally Admits Natalee Holloway Case Messed Up by Nepotism, Blames van der Straten
So why has there been no “Justice for Natalee” in Aruba?
In the end those that have claimed their was an obstruction of justice, cover up and corruption in Aruba in the investigation of Natalee Holloway were correct. Watch the following video of Aruban cover up and corruption.
Define irony? The Justice Minister of Aruba Rudy Croes obstructing justice in the case of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. Croes claims that Jan van der Straten intentionally messed up the case due to nepotism, yet Rudy Croes never came forward with this information until now. Beth and Dave Holloway would have been interested in Croes’ latest comment in June 2005. Instead, the Justice Minister of Aruba took part in the obstruction of justice for Natalee and her family by not coming forward. How could anyone in Aruba have allowed van der Straten to be the lead investigator in the case with such a conflict of interest as being friends of Paulus Van der Sloot, the father of the prime suspect in the case of Natalee’s disappearance?
The Good Ship Aruba, its every rat for them self
However, over three and a half years later after Natalee Holloway went missing and the case was purposely botched, the rats are fleeing the Goodship Aruba as they begin to turn on each other. Justice-minister Rudy Croes says that the case of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba was messed up by Jan van der Straten in the first ten days to help his friend Paul van der Sloot to protect his suspected son Joran. However, after all this time why did Rudy Croes finally say something? Could it be a guilty conscience? Could it be he finally wanted to do the right thing? No, not it the slightest. Like everything in Aruba, Rudy Croes makes these accusations after 3 1/2 years because of self-serving political reasons.
Justice-minister Rudy Croes accuses nepotism as to the reason why van der Straten helped his friend Paulus Van der Sloot to protect his suspected son Joran Van der Sloot. However, the only reason why Justice-minister Rudy Croes is coming forward with these accusations at this time against Jan van der Straten is because Croes now that he feels attacked by the former chief of police.

Three Year Anniversary of Disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba … Still Looking for Justice for Natalee
It is hard to believe that it has been 3 years since the disappearance of Natalee Hollway in Aruba. Three years since the last night on Aruba of the Mountain Brook, AL high school trip. Three years since that fateful moment when Natalee Holloway left Carlos N’ Charlies at closing in a car with Deepak Kalpoe, Satish Kalpoe and Joran Van der Sloot.
A missing person case that now three years later does not seem to be any close to being solved than in the initial days of the investigation. Why is that? Why were there no leads that would lead to an arrest of the obvious suspects in this case? Why were there court obstructions to re-arrests when the evidence was obvious and confessions were made?
Answers may not have been answered yet in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway; however, changes have happened in both Mountain Brook and Aruba where the two locations will forever be linked and will never be the same.
Charlotte Botsford is a Mountain Brook youth pastor. She said Natalee Holloway’s senior trip disappearance has forced parents to scale down the annual tradition.
“From what I can tell it has changed significantly. A lot of students are going to the beach or the lake and they are taking a lot parents with them,” Botsford recalled. (NBC13)
One of the legacies of Natalee Holloway is awareness. No one can look upon any vacation paradise as safe no matter what tourism brochures claim. All too often we make are selves aware of our surroundings during our every day life; however, when on vacation those walls are taken down because we have been lead to believe that its OK, “no problem mon.” That is not the case anymore.
“You have to vigilant at all times especially as a woman it’s very important, be cautious in the world we’re in. No place is perfectly safe. Not even Mountain Brook,” Ford pointed out.
Dave Holloway tries to be optimistic and hopes that the recent sonar searches off Aruba may solve the mystery as to what happened to Natalee. A search that would have appeared to have ended prematurely with so many potential targets still needed to be investigated. One hopes that it will be resumed in the near future.
Dave Holloway said ocean floor sonar searches off the coast of Aruba found about 170 targets.
Due to bad weather and technological limitations, they were only able to examine a handful of those targets.
Holloway hopes to resume the searches as soon as possible.
However, there are still many answers that Aruba needs to answer to as to what happened to Natalee Holloway. No one just disappears. Especially on an island so small. Especially when little to no competent investigation or real interrogation was done to the very people who were last seen with Natalee. People, Deepak, Satish and Joran, who lied through their teeth from the outset as to what their involvement was.

Its been 3 years since Natalee Holloway went missing, Aruba, don’t you think its about time this case was closed and answers can be provided to Natalee’s family? As the letter that was recently posted in Diario stated, it’s about time we end this tragedy, let us join together and bring Natalee home. After three years we are still looking for “Justice for Natalee”.

The Disappearance and Water Search for Natalee Holloway in Aruba Discussed on Dateline NBC, Part 1
The disappearance and search for Natalee Holloway in Aruba
It was the beginning of a quest that would transform two parents from small town America into international investigators, who even today are trying to answer the question: what happened to Natalee?
Part 1 – FULL TRANSCRIPT
Beth Holloway: I was excited the Mountain Brook students had been there the previous two years. Even my step-son — the year 2003. And there were going to be over 150 plus classmates. So, we felt like, you know, there’s safety in numbers.
She felt good about it except for one troubling piece of information about a nightspot down there, a bar called Carlos ‘n Charlie’s.
Beth Holloway: My step-son had had an encounter at Carlos ‘n Charlie’s during 2003.
Chris Hansen: During his senior class trip?
Beth Holloway: Yes– yeah. Tere were some locals there. And they had coaxed some young females into leaving the establishment with them… and he stepped in at the last minute because just didn’t feel good about the situation, you know, with them–
….
Beth Holloway: I knew instantly when I received that call that just from Natalee’s history and character and just her record, I– I knew instantly that she’d either been kidnapped or murdered. There was no hesitation. Absolutely none– absolutely none.
She raced towards home and frantically called 911.
Beth Holloway: I’m saying, “My daughter’s been kidnapped or murdered in Aruba. Help me. I need some help, you know?” And then the calls turned into I’m calling 911 and I’m telling them I’m driving a 120 miles an hour down the interstate and don’t anybody stop me.
She finally did get pulled over — and a state trooper got her in touch with the FBI.
Back at his home in Mississippi, Dave Holloway also got the frightening news:
PART II
And the lead detective, he told me that he would have to have a shave. And he rubbed his cheeks, and his stretched his arms down to his large stomach and said he would have to have his Frosted Flakes first before he could deal with me.
And then, after two hours, he came out and said that he’d changed his mind. That he didn’t need to meet with us after all. (Beth Holloway)
Beth Holloway: So, all I did was give this little bit of information to the nighttime manager and she knew instantly who he was.Chris Hansen: And who was he?Beth Holloway: She said, “Oh, that’s Joran Van der Sloot and he’s — 17. No, he’s a local here. No, he hangs out here. Now that they knew his full name Beth wanted to put a face on it.She asked to see the casino security videotape. And as she watched it play, she was on the phone with her step-nephew, who had been on the trip, and had sat next to Joran in the casino the night before.…“We’ve got the car. And we’ve got the address.”Joran Van der Sloot’s address.Minutes later the group from Alabama was arriving at his family’s home. While Beth sat in the car her friends from home grilled Joran, pressing him for details about what happened after he and Natalee left the bar.Beth Holloway: The words that he uses are sexually explicit and graphically detailed of what he is engaging in. The conduct he’s engaging in with Natalee in the backseat of the car.…Dave Holloway: On June 1.Chris Hansen: From the get go.Dave Holloway: He said “A lot of these girls come to the island, they miss their flights. She’ll show up in a few days.”Chris Hansen: In a few days.Dave Holloway: Yeah. Says, “She’s probably out just partying. A lot of them will come here and get hooked up with a drug dealer. They’ll be under drugs for awhile.”Chris Hansen: How did you respond to that?Dave Holloway: I said, “that’s not my daughter.”Both parents felt nearly paralyzed with fear, but they did keep moving. The next day Beth was back at the police station and this time the detective had questions for her.Beth Holloway: He asked me if Natalee ever had a history of seizures or epilepsy? And I said, “No.”Chris Hansen: Did you think that was odd? At the time?Beth Holloway: No, I just thought, “Why are you asking that?”Beth Holloway Twitty says she didn’t understand the significance of that question at the time and wouldn’t for more than two years. But soon after that question was posed to her, there were arrests in the case. Just not who she thought.A week after Natalee’s disappearance, two Holiday Inn security guards were taken into custody. (Security guards arrested)

Beth Holloway on the Nance Grace Show (2/8/08) … Beth Holloway … Jorans worst Nightmare: “the “F-ing” mother would never shut up”
Joran Van der Sloot, are you feeling the heat? Beth Holloway is your worst nightmare and on your tail.
Why does Joran Van der Sloot continue to act in such a smug, rotten, nasty and contemptuous way when he makes references to Natalee Holloway, calling her a bitch and a whore? Its obvious from the beginning of this case that Joran Van der Sloot had an issue with authority and particularly with female authority. From the outset of this case his story never sounded believable … it more appeared to be he reacted to Natalee Holloway telling him, “NO!”
For the first time in Joran Van der Sloot’s life he was confronted by a strong woman, who would not take no for an answer and would not go away. That woman … Beth Holloway.
But the biggest — and he also said the biggest problem is he had no idea of the magnitude — he had no idea that, you know, the “F-ing” mother would never shut up and would never — would have brought this so global. They had no idea what they were stepping into, Nancy, they were stepping into — no idea.
It`s just despicable what he has done. It`s a sad form of a human existence, if you ask me, Joran is. (Beth Hollway)
The following are some excepts from the Nancy Grace show on February 8, 2008. The full Nancy Grace transcript can be found HERE. Its a must watch and read as this was one of Nancy Grace’s better shows.
GRACE: Good evening. I`m Nancy Grace. I want to thank you for being with us. Tonight, Natalee Holloway`s mother, Beth Holloway, is with us. And in his attempt to explain away his secretly taped confession, prime suspect Joran Van Der Sloot says he was high on pot. Van Der Sloot just released from hours of questioning by Dutch police.
….
DAVE HOLLOWAY, NATALEE`S FATHER: I`d be surprised if he told the truth this time. I think his pattern is the same pattern, try and lie and get his way out of it. He`s tried to avoid this justice system for a long time, and you know, I`m afraid it`s going come back and haunt him some day. I just hope that he comes clean. He`s got an account to settle, and I hope he settles it on this earth this time. If he doesn`t, you know, God bless him.
….
GRACE: Back to Tracy Sabo, CNN senior producer. abut Tracy, that doesn`t even make any sense because what we saw on video — and we`re about to show you more of that secretly video audio tape of Joran Van Der Sloot confessing to being with Natalee the night she died — this wasn`t all in one night, everybody. This was taken over months and months, weeks of driving around, yes, smoking pot. And he stuck with the same story for weeks on end. He mentioned being there on the beach when Natalee went into convulsions 10 separate times, Tracy Sabo. It`s not as if he got high and drunk on one occasion and came up with a fabrication. This was something, a story he maintained over months.
From the Peter R. De Vries video tape:
VAN DER SLOOT: Natalee. Come take a jelly shot off me. So the whore jumped on the bar, and she wanted me to take a jelly shot out of her navel. I did it. Then she says, So now you have to buy me a drink. So I said, What do you want? She says, What`s good? I say, A shot of Bacardi 151. She says, OK, that`s fine.
So she takes a shot of Bacardi 151. She takes it, and right away she goes, Whoo, bam — 151 proof, you know, 151 proof, that is. That`s 75 percent alcohol. So she asks for a chaser. She`s drunk, really drunk. What I was thinking, I`ll just take the girl with me. We`ll go (DELETED). So I say, What do you want to do?? You want to go to your hotel? I`ll just go with her to her hotel. That`s the best thing to do. She says, No, no, no, I don`t want to go to my own hotel.
VAN DER EEM: Did you try to resuscitate her?
VAN DER SLOOT: Of course! I tried everything, man. I tried to shake her. I was shaking the (Bitch). I was, like, What`s wrong with you, man? I almost wanted to cry. What (DELETED) happening?
I said to him, This is impossible. He took the boat. He went far out, and he threw her over the side. Then he came back and he docked his boat there. And he came by my house for a bit.
….
….
….
DAVE HOLLOWAY: When you go into a panic, which he said he did, the first thing you think of is call an ambulance. And with him choosing the alternative of getting rid of her, something else happened. I believe it was a possible date rape drug he used and a possible rape and murder.….
JOSSY MANSUR, MANAGING EDITOR, “DIARIO“: Well, over here we find that he is guilty. Most of the people we`ve consulted, most of the people that have called us and have a reaction find that he was very articulate, that he didn`t seem to be under any kind of drug influence, that he was talking freely, that he collected his thoughts, so much so that he could describe in detail what happened when he was with Natalee and Natalee died in his arms, and that he called a friend and threw her in the ocean. The people of Aruba now are very, very irritated with this character, so much so that the minister of justice today declared him persona non grata in Aruba.
GRACE: Persona non grata in Aruba. With me, Natalee`s mother, Beth, is with us. Natalee had no history of epilepsy whatsoever, but you mentioned the possibility of GHB, Gamma-Hydroxybutyrate, date rape drug. Why?
HOLLOWAY: Well, I`m not really sure of what all it can cause, but when I think about that, if a young woman has no medical history of any significance, nothing, there is nothing marked in Natalee`s history of any medical issues — why would she all of a sudden go into convulsions or seizures? And I felt as if it had to have been attributed to a date rape drug.
GRACE: So you actually believe she had convulsions? You actually believe Joran Van Der Sloot on that?
HOLLOWAY: The only reason why, go back to the very beginning, why were we asked that question within 48 hours of her disappearance?
….
GRACE: Welcome back. With me tonight live, Natalee`s mom, Beth Holloway. We are taking your calls live. Beth, I know the Dutch version of Joran Van Der Sloot`s confession was much more in depth. Is it true — because I haven`t seen it – that he said he was afraid for her body to be found because his semen would be on and about her body?
HOLLOWAY: Yes. Yes. He does disclose that to Patrick.
GRACE: You`re positive?
HOLLOWAY: Yes.
….
GRACE: When you saw this and you heard him refer to her as a bitch and a whore, what was your response?
HOLLOWAY: God! I mean, Nancy, it`s just — when I hear Joran talking about her like that — my gosh, he just — you know, first you want to come through the TV I want to kill him, I mean, and peel his skin off his face. And I think of the utter disregard he had for Natalee. And look what he`s done to his friends. Look what he`s done to a country. Look what he`s done to everyone.
And when I hear Jossy Mansur speaking, I`m thinking, God, look at the hell he`s dragged us all through. Look at the hell he`s dragged from Jossy through to all of us. I mean, he has just totally, totally dragged us all through hell with him, this Joran Van Der Sloot. It`s just despicable what he has done. It`s a sad form of a human existence, if you ask me, Joran is.
HOLLOWAY: Absolutely. And there are two Daurys that have been discussed and I don`t think that one of them has been ruled out. So — and that is something else that has been surfacing as to, you know, as Joran gives this statement, he also says this name he will take to his grave. Well, he`s not in his grave, Nancy. So he says he`s going to take it to his grave? Well, I`m not so sure if you`re going to be disclosing a name if you`re going to take it to your grave so.
…
PAT BROWN, CRIMINAL PROFILER, AUTHOR OF “KILLING FOR SPORT”: I`m in total agreement with you that this convulsion did not happen. I believe that Joran is always making Natalee the bad person. He`s always the victim. My guess is he`s angry at her because he didn`t get the sex he wanted. He forced it on her, he smothered her or he strangled her. He knew he did wrong. He couldn`t make the phone call to daddy and say, hey I need help, this girl`s passed out on the beach. He knew he couldn`t call anybody because he killed her.
And I also would look at the possibility that he`s saying enough, he`s saying what he wants to in the sense of saying that he was with her, had sex, and, yes, something happened to her, but he may be lying about everything else to cover up where she is. I would say if he`s worried about semen, maybe she is buried on land. Hey, I got an e-mail that said she was buried under the gardener`s shack at daddy`s house. I would like to know how the police checked every single thing possible on that land or any place else she could have been buried.
Because if she`s found someplace where Joran or his father had anything to do with, I`d say that would be good information.
…
HOLLOWAY: I would have to say if I knew the day that I got that call that Natalee was not gathering in the Holiday Inn lobby to depart for the airport, if I had known what was ahead of me, Nancy, God, I don`t know if I could have – I don`t know if I could have fought as hard. Had no idea.
You know, Nancy, I just thought I was going to fly to Aruba and I was going get her and bring her home, you know, we were just go there and find her had, you know? I had no idea what was before me. And it`s a good thing because, golly, I think back and I think, God, I don`t know if I – you know, it`s so insurmountable anyway to think about when that much of a journey is ahead of you.
Yes, it`s a good thing I didn`t know what was ahead, because I just don`t know if I could have fought as hard, Nancy. God, because I had no idea it would be — I know two and a half years later and from an investigative standpoint, I understand, sometimes it can take years, 10 years, and sometimes they`re not resolved. But to a mom and to a parent and when it happens, you want answers now and you want them today.
