Union Protesters Cause $7.5 Million in Damages at State Capitol in Madison, WI

Could the MSM be any more hypocritical, what if the Tea Party had done such a thing?

According to reports from the JS Online, Wisconsin state officials have stated that damage to the marble inside and out the State Capitol due the the exploits of union protesters would cost an estimated $7.5 million to repair. It is one thing to use your First Amendment right to protect and make you voice be heard, it’s quite a different one to deface public property. Guess who gets this bill … all tax payers in Wisconsin. Guess those peaceful protesters have provided a gift that keeps on giving, or taking as the case may be. How disgraceful that these people deface public property; however, I am sure they will get a fraudulent note excusing them of their actions.

Cari Anne Renlund, chief legal counsel for the state Department of Administration, said in Dane County court that estimates of damage to marble includes $6 million to repair damaged marble inside the Capitol, $1 million for damage outside and $500,000 for costs to supervise the damage.

Much of the damage apparently has come from tape used to put up signs and placards at the Capitol.

Hmm, according to the video above, live ammunition was found outside the state Capitol as well as .22 caliber shells were found. More at The Lonely Conservative.

What a double standard of hypocrisy on the side of the liberal MSM. Imagine, just imagine of a Tea Party rally caused such damage, litter and ruin in its wake? It would be the headline story on every LEFTIST newspaper and leading the national news. But when union protesters do such a thing, its no where to be found. Another Black Conservative reminds us of the mess that had to be cleaned up after other LEFTY get-togethers, complete with pics too. But of course, the MSM refused to report on the Hitler and hate signsof the union protesters. Too bad they cannot say the same about the bias and fabricated agenda they tried to pass off regarding the Tea Party.

Alabama House of Representatives: Four House Dems (Boothe, Millican, Vance & Hurst) Switch Parties Gives GOP Super Majority

The 2010 midterm election, the gift that keeps on giving …

The backlash continues against the Democrat party as dividends continues to come in from the 2010 midterm elections. The biggest story of the 2010 midterm elections was not the GOP pick ups in the US House, Senate and Governorships … it was that in the state Houses. Guess what, it just increased again. What an impact this will have for the 2012 elections and the next decade.

As if the Republicans did not benefit enough from the political tsunami that took place on November 2, 2010 when the GOP gained 680 state legislature seats, the hits keep on coming. In Alabama, four Democrat House members just switched from Donkeys to Elephants and have given the GOP a super-majority in the Alabama House. Representatives Alan Boothe of Troy, Mike Millican of Hamilton, Lesley Vance of Phenix City and Steve Hurst of Munford all have seen the handwriting on the wall and abandoned the Democrat party.

All four lawmakers who made the jump to the Republican party said they felt their views were more aligned with the Republican Party. Look for this to be a pattern in the future on the state and national level, especially if Obama. Pelosi and Reid continue their far Left agenda against the will of the people. The 2010 midterms showed that any Democrat in a conservative or middle of the road district or state is vulnerable.

Republicans now have a super-majority in the Alabama House after four Democrats defected and joined the GOP on Monday.

Rep. Alan Boothe of Troy, Rep. Mike Millican of Hamilton, Rep. Lesley Vance of Phenix City and Rep. Steve Hurst of Munford all jumped ship on Monday, giving Republicans 66 seats in the House and a filibuster-proof majority.
