White House defends Obama’s $100 million trip to Africa as a ‘great bang for our buck’.  Obama was also supposed to be the smartest president ever and care about the middle class as well. As stated at Michelle Malkin, wasn’t these the same people who said that investments into Solyndra (VIDEO) and other green energy companies were the same? How did that “bang for our buck” work out for America? Oh, that’s right, they are bankrupt. Maybe the comment that should be emphasized is when Deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes said, ”the White House doesn’t determine the cost of security.” Actually, Obama nor Michelle Obama care what it cost the tax payers is more accurate. Just curious, what part about the African safari was a “bang for our buck”? Even though it has since been canceled because the WAPO actually questioned and criticized the event, the fact of the matter is it was initially planned. The occupants of the White House not only don’t care about the cost of the security, they care little about any tab they make the struggling tax payers pay. President Obama’s $100 million trip to African offers “great bang for our buck,” the White House said Friday.

Deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes defended the cost of Obama’s upcoming trip to South Africa, Senegal and Tanzania, which could cost taxpayers as much as $100 million.

He said the White House doesn’t determine the cost of security and argued traveling to the often overlooked region would help the U.S.

“Frankly, there will be a great bang for our buck for being in Africa, because when you travel to regions like Africa that don’t get a lot of presidential attention, you can have very long-standing and long-running impact from the visit,” Rhodes said.

WHAT A JOKE, Americans are suffering and Barack, Michelle and the kids in tow are off the Africa at a $100 million price tag to “We the People” and we get the BS in return that the trip is a great bang for our buck. That is correct. As millions of Americans are unemployed, under-employed, and struggle to get by on a day to day basis. This takes place as a record number of Americans are on food stamps and disability. This occurs as so-called sequestration has caused government departments to cut back and furlough workers. Barack Obama has said in the past that every one has to have skin in the game and must sacrifice? That is everyone but him. As Weasel Zippers states, “Just as long as the King and Queen of America enjoy themselves.” This man truly is a community agitator. Who does this at a time that the United States finds itself in record debt?

So let’s understand this, fighter jets will fly in shifts, giving 24-hour coverage over the president’s airspace, a Navy aircraft carrier or amphibious ship, with a fully staffed medical trauma center, will be stationed offshore in case of an emergency but yet Americans were left to die in Benghazi without any military help within an 8 hour range? Really? Furthermore, we are in the midst of questioning the IRS for their lavish and over the top wasteful spending, yet Obama’s jaunt to Africa gets the rubber stamp of approval? The LEFT will be quick to say, well Bush did it. Is that really a defense? I thought Obama wasn’t W? We realize that other presidents have gone on expensive trips as well, but this president is not supposed to be like others. Obama says he cares about the poor and the middle class. Obama claims that he identifies with the common man and plays class warfare. However, this imperial, do as I say, not as I do, let them eat cake president just snubs his nose at the American people and does any damn thing he wants at the expense of ‘We the People”. What a disgrace.

Hundreds of U.S. Secret Service agents will be dispatched to secure facilities in Senegal, South Africa and Tanzania. A Navy aircraft carrier or amphibious ship, with a fully staffed medical trauma center, will be stationed offshore in case of an emergency.

Military cargo planes will airlift in 56 support vehicles, including 14 limousines and three trucks loaded with sheets of bullet­proof glass to cover the windows of the hotels where the first family will stay. Fighter jets will fly in shifts, giving 24-hour coverage over the president’s airspace, so they can intervene quickly if an errant plane gets too close.

The elaborate security provisions — which will cost the government tens of millions of dollars — are outlined in a confidential internal planning document obtained by The Washington Post. While the preparations appear to be in line with similar travels in the past, the document offers an unusual glimpse into the colossal efforts to protect the U.S. commander in chief on trips abroad.

Obama’s trip could cost the federal government $60 million to $100 million based on the costs of similar African trips in recent years, according to one person familiar with the journey, who was not authorized to speak for attribution. The Secret Service planning document, which was provided to The Post by a person who is concerned about the amount of resources necessary for the trip, does not specify costs.

The Weekly Standard reports that after the WAPO questioned the costs of a planned family safari, the White House nixed the plan. So does that mean if we question the entire trip, they will cancel this ridiculous, over-priced boondoggle as well?

Is it any wonder why so many Americans are unemployed, so many Americans are on food stamps and so many Americans have just given up looking for employment. Obama actually wants to tax some businesses out of business. This is just unreal.

“We don’t think government can do everything,” he said.  “We don’t think that top-down solutions are the right way to go.  We believe in the free market.  We believe in a light touch when it comes to regulations.”

“We don’t want to tax all businesses out of business,” Obama said.  “But we do think that there’s a role to play for government.”

IRS Says Cheapest Obamacare Plan Will Be $20,000 Per Family … Two-Thirds of Americans Don’t Know If They Will Insure Under Obamacare

I guess Nancy Pelosi was correct when she said, ”We Have to Pass Our Bill So That You Can Find Out What Is In It.”  From CNS News, now we learn that the cheapest Obamacare plan will cost $20,000 per family. And guess who comes after you and tracks whether you have purchased the mandatory insurance, the IRS, that same organization that has shown all of America that they cannot be trusted.

In the examples, the IRS assumes that families of five who are uninsured would need to pay an average of $20,000 per year to purchase a Bronze plan in 2016.

Using the conditions laid out in the regulations, the IRS calculates that a family earning $120,000 per year that did not buy insurance would need to pay a “penalty” (a word the IRS still uses despite the Supreme Court ruling that it is in fact a “tax”) of $2,400 in 2016.

In a final regulation issued Wednesday, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) assumed that under Obamacare the cheapest health insurance plan available in 2016 for a family will cost $20,000 for the year.

Under Obamacare, Americans will be required to buy health insurance or pay a penalty to the IRS.

The IRS’s assumption that the cheapest plan for a family will cost $20,000 per year is found in examples the IRS gives to help people understand how to calculate the penalty they will need to pay the government if they do not buy a mandated health plan.

The examples point to families of four and families of five, both of which the IRS expects in its assumptions to pay a minimum of $20,000 per year for a bronze plan.

From CNBC News, Two-Thirds of Americans Don’t Know If They Will Insure Under Obamacare

There’s no assurance folks will be buying insurance under Obamacare, and that could spell trouble for the Affordable Care Act.

Nearly two-thirds of Americans who currently lack health insurance don’t know yet if they will purchase that coverage by the Jan. 1 deadline set by the ACA, a new survey revealed Monday.

And less than half of those in the survey released by InsuranceQuotes.com think they’ll get better health care after Obamacare takes full effect. Nearly 50 percent believe the ACA will make it more difficult for them to get tests and procedures done in a timely manner, according to the phone survey of 1,001 adult Americans conducted in early May.

And a whopping 68 percent of low-income Americans aren’t sure they qualify for tax credits that would subsidize their purchase of health insurance—despite they fact that they almost invariably will qualify, the survey found. That population is most likely to benefit from government subsidies under the health-care reform law.

According to Reuters, a New York-based nonprofit, Academic Arrangements Abroad, organized the trip. , Reuters said. Beyoncé and Jay-Z  went on their fifth wedding anniversary, and visited a dance group, a children’s theater company and an arts institute. I guess if Obama feels he can’t vacation in Cuba, he will send his peeps instead. No quid pro quo or cronyism here, its not like Beyoncé and Jay-Z have not done fund raisers for Obama. Oh wait, they have.  What a joke, if you filed such a trip like this on your tax returns as a business trip, you would be getting a call from the IRS.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s recent controversial trip to Cuba was approved by the Treasury Department in advance of their travel, new documents show.

According to a letter obtained by CNN Tuesday, the Treasury Department wrote to two members of Congress who called for an investigation of the trip and explained the type of travel license obtained by the superstar couple.

“It is our understanding that the travelers in question traveled to Cuba pursuant to an educational exchange trip organized by a group authorized by OFAC [the Office of Foreign Assets Control] to sponsor and organize programs to promote people-to-people contact in Cuba,” the letter read.

It is obvious that Barack Obama just does not care and he makes no secret about it. Its good to be King Obama and even better to be one of his homies. If you are in with Obama, you don’t just get to stay in the Lincoln bedroom, provided tax payers money for failed green energy businesses or allwed in the White House to party while “We the People” are no allowed tours … you get to go to Cuba for your wedding anniversary under the guise of an educational exchange trip.

Republican Reps. Mario Diaz-Balart and Ileana Ros-Lehtinen of Florida took issue with the trip, and over the weekend asked the U.S. Treasury to investigate.

After receiving the Treasury’s response Tuesday, Ros-Lehtinen was not satisfied.

“If the tourist activities undertaken by Beyoncé and Jay-Z in Cuba are classified as an educational exchange trip, then it is clear that the Obama Administration is not serious about denying the Castro regime an economic lifeline that US tourism will extend to it,” she said in a statement.

“That was a wedding anniversary vacation that was not even disguised as a cultural program. As more human rights activists engage in hunger strikes, I don’t think they will see any evidence of how this scam endeavor will help them become independent of the regime.”

On Friday, we learned that the US created a pathetic 88,000 jobs as the unemployment rate fell to 7.6% thanks to the Labor participation rate falling to 34-Year Low of 63.3%, the lowest since May 1979. We all know who was president then, don’t we? More Americans were killed in Afghanistan, the despot dictator of North Korea Kim Jong-un has been threatening nuclear war, the Middle East continues to be a tinderbox, not to mention the record level number of Americans on food stamps and escalated gas and health care prices. All this going on and this clown we call a president goes golfing yet again, for the second weekend in a row.

President Obama went out for a round of golf Saturday afternoon, his second weekend in a row to hit the links at a course at Joint Base Andrews. The president golfed with White House aides Marvin Nicholson, Joe Paulsen, and Michael Brush.

When will this president ever take his job seriously and actually show one ounce of empathy with the struggling American people? The answer is never, because that is what this 1% president is all about. Sacrifice is your you, not him. It is “We the People” who are supposed to struggle and make it possible for Obama and his family and the Biden’s to take multiple vacations, while American families stay home. It is obvious Obama could care less about the American people, and a note to black folks, that means you too. Obama acts like nothing is going wrong, yet everything a catastrophe, down to his all important NCAA basketball brackets.  

EXIT QUESTION: Would the MSM let a Republican president get away with the perception that a president could care less and go on as business as usual as they demand Americans sacrifice and in the middle of sequestration where others are having their life styles cut? Back in 2012, Obama had played four times more golf than George W. Bush did in eight years. Ironically, it sounds all too familiar to Obama’s budget spending as well. Remember when President GWB gave up golf because in his words, he did not think it was right as Commander in Chief and it sent the wrong message. It is very unfortunate we have a current president in Obama who does not feel the same as Americans continue to die and millions struggle out of work.

Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer rendered his fellow Fox News panelists on ‘Special Report’ momentarily speechless after he said that President Barack Obama had lost the main gun control battle and “all he wants now is the money”. Just curious, what did Krauthammer say that was so shocking? Has even Fox News become that liberal? I mean we all know Chris Wallace is a lib, but why wouldn’t the other panelists believe Obama was just in it for the money? For a socialist, he does like the $’s that are brought in on issues rather than actually solving America’s problems.

Obama White House Scolds His Lapdog Media For Failing to Cover Pain Caused by Sequestration

The Daily Caller reports that the Obama regime scolded their “lapdog” media for failing to cover the pain that the White House went out of their way to ensure would happen due to sequestration. How dare the media, who has acted as a propaganda tool for Obama, not also report on the faux pain of sequestration. White House mouth piece Jay the Carney claimed that the WH did not mislead the public on sequestration. Carney became defensive when challenged by the media of what became of past statements from the Obama administration on the horrors that would occur due to sequestration? What else would we expect from this thin skinned, divisive and truth-challenged administration?

White House spokesman Jay Carney lamented during a press conference Tuesday that the media are not covering the sequester’s “impacts on real people.”

“The impacts are real,” Carney insisted during an exchange with Fox News’ Ed Henry, “and they effect real people. And I know that there hasn’t been a lot of coverage of the impacts on real people.”

Henry was pressing Carney on why the Obama administration had originally told reporters that the sequester would pull 5,000 border patrol agents off the border, only to announce Monday that the agency had reconsidered the decision for the short-term.

Obama and his minions just cannot comprehend that the media is not making up stories to fit Obama’s narrative on sequestration. From past actions from the propagandists media, there is a part of me that finds this humorous as well that the MSM has drawn a line in the sand as well.

As reported by CNS News, Black Entertainment Television (BET) founder Bob Johnson said earlier this week .at the National Press Club that the United States would “never tolerate white unemployment at 14 or 15%”. He went on to say that the  unemployment for the black community has been double that of white Americans for over 50 years. Obviously Obama has no issue with the high black unemployment rate as he has made matters worse during his regime. Its also many black leaders are finally making their voices heard after 4 years of silence during Obama’s first term. As per Town Hall, political leaders from the Congressional Black Caucus to the NAACP have begun to open fire on the White House.  To be perfectly honest, I am not sure why anyone would tolerate the present national average of unemployment, no matter what one’s skin color is. Obama’s economic policies have been a disaster for all people of any color.

This country would never tolerate white unemployment at 14 and 15 percent. No one would ever stay in office at 14 or 15 percent unemployment in this nation, but we’ve had that double unemployment for over 50 years,” Johnson said while speaking at the National Press Club about the gap between whites and blacks in America.

“The national average is 7.7 percent, and African-American unemployment is 13.8 percent. To be honest, it’s probably greater than that when you count the number of African-Americans who have simply given up on finding employment,” said Johnson, who is also founder and chairman of The RLJ Companies.

However, does Bob Johnson want the truth to his questions, or just more excuses that have been the cause that have kept black unemployment percentages high?

Under President Barack Obama, unemployment for blacks has been abysmal. Males, females and teens have all seen their unemployment numbers skyrocket under Obama. But I thought he cared about them? How does a segment of the population support a president with 95% of the vote and still get nothing in return. And by getting something I do not mean for food stamps, unemployment and Obama phones.

As reported at Vibe, Dr. Benjamin Carson criticizes President Obama on Black unemployment, “If President Obama wants to be a hero in the African-American community, he should do something to alleviate the “abominable” Black unemployment rate in America”.

“I think the best thing that he (President Obama) can possibly do that will help minorities is to enact policies that allow for growth of the economy,” said Carson. “Because when you look at the employment rate for instance in the African American community, it’s abominable. And the policies that have been enacted have only made it worse. They have not made it better. So if he really wanted to be a hero in that community, let’s start doing some things that make sense economically and get the money flowing.”

Barack Obama’s failed job policies are facing bitter criticism from African-American leaders who say black unemployment has grown worse under his presidency.

After four years of holding their tongues and remaining quiet in the face of sharply rising black unemployment and record poverty, political leaders from the Congressional Black Caucus to the NAACP have begun to open fire on the White House.

Black, Female Unemployment Higher Than When Obama Took Office.

Unemployment for both women and African-Americans is higher today than it was when President Barack Obama first took office in 2009, according to federal government data.

Despite an economy that has technically been in recovery since June of 2009, many economic indicators are the same or worse than when President Obama gave his first address to a Joint Session of Congress in February 2009.

“We will rebuild, we will recover, and the United States of America will emerge stronger than before,” Obama said in that speech.

However, employment for African-Americans and women has not recovered and, in fact, is worse today than it was when Obama said those words.
