#HIM TOO: Four Women Accuse New York’s Attorney General Eric Schneiderman of Physical Abuse & Assault … Schneiderman Denies … Schneiderman Resigns From Office

WOW, THAT WAS FAST … #HIM TOO!!!

Last night The New Yorker dropped the bombshell that New York’s attorney general Eric Schneiderman was being accused by four women of physical abuse. Two of the women remained anonymous, while two others made their name’s public. The women allege that Schneiderman repeatedly hit them, often after drinking, frequently in bed and never with their consent. Manning Barish and Selvaratnam categorize the abuse he inflicted on them as “assault.” Following the allegations in a statement, Schneiderman said, “In the privacy of intimate relationships, I have engaged in role-playing and other consensual sexual activity. I have not assaulted anyone. I have never engaged in nonconsensual sex, which is a line I would not cross.” But one woman stated that State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman called his Sri Lankan girlfriend his “brown slave” and wanted her to refer to him as “Master.” Whether this be role play or not, some how I double whether this is considered acceptable behavior or word choice in this day and age.

Schneiderman NYC AG

Eric Schneiderman, New York’s attorney general, has long been a liberal Democratic champion of women’s rights, and recently he has become an outspoken figure in the #MeToo movement against sexual harassment. As New York State’s highest-ranking law-enforcement officer, Schneiderman, who is sixty-three, has used his authority to take legal action against the disgraced film mogul Harvey Weinstein, and to demand greater compensation for the victims of Weinstein’s alleged sexual crimes. Last month, when the Times and this magazine were awarded a joint Pulitzer Prize for coverage of sexual harassment, Schneiderman issued a congratulatory tweet, praising “the brave women and men who spoke up about the sexual harassment they had endured at the hands of powerful men.” Without these women, he noted, “there would not be the critical national reckoning under way.”

Now Schneiderman is facing a reckoning of his own. As his prominence as a voice against sexual misconduct has risen, so, too, has the distress of four women with whom he has had romantic relationships or encounters. They accuse Schneiderman of having subjected them to nonconsensual physical violence. All have been reluctant to speak out, fearing reprisal. But two of the women, Michelle Manning Barish and Tanya Selvaratnam, have talked to The New Yorker on the record, because they feel that doing so could protect other women. They allege that he repeatedly hit them, often after drinking, frequently in bed and never with their consent. Manning Barish and Selvaratnam categorize the abuse he inflicted on them as “assault.” They did not report their allegations to the police at the time, but both say that they eventually sought medical attention after having been slapped hard across the ear and face, and also choked. Selvaratnam says that Schneiderman warned her he could have her followed and her phones tapped, and both say that he threatened to kill them if they broke up with him. (Schneiderman’s spokesperson said that he “never made any of these threats.”)

UPDATE I: Schneiderman called me his ‘brown slave,’ would slap me until I called him ‘Master’.

State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman called his Sri Lankan girlfriend his “brown slave” and wanted her to refer to him as “Master,” the woman says.

Harvard-educated activist writer Tanya Selvaratnam told the New Yorker magazine that her yearlong affair with Schneiderman “was a fairytale that became a nightmare” — and quickly escalated into violence in the bedroom, even as he begged for threesomes.

“Sometimes, he’d tell me to call him Master, and he’d slap me until I did,” Selvaratnam said.

“He started calling me his ‘brown slave’ and demanding that I repeat that I was ‘his property.’

UPDATE II: New York’s Attorney General Eric Schneiderman Resigns.

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has resigned following the stunning New Yorker report on four women accusing him of physical violence.

In response to the report, Schneiderman denied he engaged in any non-consensual behavior and said he had been “role-playing.” Governor Andrew Cuomo and Senator Kirsten Gillibrand had called on him to resign earlier tonight.

And then, just hours after the report was released, Schneiderman put out a statement announcing his resignation.

“It’s been my great honor and privilege to serve as attorney general for the people of the State of New York,” Schneiderman said. “In the last several hours, serious allegations, which I strongly contest, have been made against me.”

“While these allegations are unrelated to my professional conduct or the operations of the office, they will effectively prevent me from leading the office’s work at this critical time. I therefore resign my office, effective at the close of business on May 8, 2018.”

Lost in this story of abuse, assault and sick perversion is that Eric Schneiderman was a long time Trump nemesis where Trump tweeted in 2013 … Just as Trump predicted in 2013 tweet: “Weiner is gone, Spitzer is gone – next will be lightweight A.G. Eric Schneiderman… Wait and see, worse than Spitzer or Weiner” Wow, does Trump want to pick the next Lottery numbers? It makes one wonder what did people know about Eric Schneiderman and namely, what did Democrat New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo know?

Four African-Americans Charged with Hate Crime in Brutal & Despicable Attack on a Mentally Disabled White Man

MAKE THAT HATE CRIMES X’S 2 … RACIALLY MOTIVATED AND ATTACK ON MENTALLY DISABLED PERSON …

Four blacks, Jordan Hill, 18, Tesfaye Cooper, 18, and sisters Brittany Covington, 18, and Tanishia Covington, 24, have all been charged with hate crimes, among others, in the kidnapping and viscous attack on a white, mentally disabled individual. According to reports, the victim had been reported missing and spent at least 24 hours and possibly up to 48 hours with the suspects. The four suspects kidnapped, tied up, beat and tortured disabled, special needs, mentally disabled man and streamed it on video on Facebook Live.

Charged in the attack were Jordan Hill, 18, of Carpentersville; Tesfaye Cooper, 18, of Chicago; and sisters Brittany Covington, 18, and Tanishia Covington, 24, who lived in an apartment in the 3300 block of West Lexington Street where the assault allegedly took place.

The four — who are all African-American — were each charged with aggravated kidnapping, hate crime, aggravated unlawful restraint and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, according to police. Hill also was charged with robbery, possession of a stolen motor vehicle and residential burglary, while both Covingtons were charged with residential burglary, police said.

Police said all four have given statements admitting to their roles in the alleged attack. They’re scheduled to appear for a bond hearing Friday at the Leighton Criminal Court Building.

Late Thursday, David Boyd, who identified himself as the victim’s brother-in-law, said in a brief statement to reporters that the family was grateful for “all the prayers and efforts” that led to his safe return.

“He’s doing well, as well as he could be at this time,” Boyd said. He said “everyone has seen the video” but declined to comment on what he thought of it.

“We appreciate all the support from everyone,” Boyd said, adding they were focused on “trying to stick together as a family.”

Lame duck president Barack Obama appears to have finally acknowledged the hideous crime as a hate crime, well kinda. Earlier in the day on Thursday, at a White House press briefing, press secretary Josh Earnest declined to say whether the alleged crime amounted to a hate crime but called it “disturbing” and said the images demonstrate “a level of depravity that is an outrage to a lot of Americans.” Really, the WH could not just call this for what it was? Under pressure to react to the obvious and a double standard of labeling and reacting to past so-called hate crimes, President Obama later was forced to say, “we appear to have seen” a hate crime in the alleged attack on a Chicago man captured on Facebook. Obama went on to blame the internet for exposing long simmering racial tensions. Really Mr. President? Maybe you are to blame for them.

President Barack Obama called the news from his hometown “despicable” and said the Internet has exposed long simmering racial tensions.

“What we have seen as surfacing, I think, are a lot of problems that have been there a long time,” Obama told a Chicago-area television station in a prearranged interview in Washington. “Whether it’s tensions between police and communities, (or) hate crimes of the despicable sort that has just now recently surfaced on Facebook.”

The four will be in court today. I can only imagine what their defense attorney will concoct. Not guilty of course.

32 Year Old Tony Torrez Confesses to Road Rage Shooting & Charged with the Murder 4 Year Old Lilly Garcia in New Mexico

Tony Torrez charged with murder, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon in the road rage murder of 4 year old Lilly Garcia.

32 year old Tony Torrez was arrested Wednesday and according to police has confessed to the road rage shooting that resulted in the death of 4 year old Lilly Garcia. Tony Torrez  has been charged with murder, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, assault with the intent to commit a violent felony, shooting at or from a motor vehicle, child abuse, child abuse resulting in death and tampering with evidence. On Tuesday  in a road rage incident, Tony Torrez fired shots at the vehicle driven by Alan Garcia, the father of murdered Lilly Garcia. According to police reports, Garcia and Torrez exchanged words before Torrez pulled out a gun and fired at Garcia’s truck. Who the hell in their right mind does this? He had to have seen that there were children in the car.

Albuquerque police said late Wednesday that a suspect had confessed to a road rage shooting that killed a four-year-old girl on Interstate 40.

Authorities said Tony Torrez, 32, had been charged with murder, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, assault with the intent to commit a violent felony, shooting at or from a motor vehicle, child abuse, child abuse resulting in death and tampering with evidence. He was being held on $650,000 bail.

Police said Torrez had confessed to Tuesday’s shooting, which killed Lilly Garcia as she rode in a vehicle driven by her father Alan, who had just picked Lilly and her brother up from school.

Police said Alan Garcia was traveling westbound on Interstate 40 and was attempting to exit the freeway when Torrez’s vehicle cut across traffic and forced Garcia out of his lane. Investigators said Garcia and Torrez exchanged words before Torrez pulled out a gun and fired at Garcia’s truck.

Lilly Garcia was struck at least once in the head. She was rushed to a local hospital, but was later pronounced dead. Her father and brother were unhurt.

UPDATE I: Anonymous Tipster turns Torrez into Police.

Torrez told an acquaintance that “he shot the girl on Interstate 40″ and that Garcia’s “red truck tried to run Tony off the road,” the court documents said. The acquaintance later became an anonymous tipster to police, and his information was used in Torrez’s arrest warrant.

After he was arrested, Torrez “confessed” to the shooting, said police Chief Gorden Eden.

The anonymous tipster told police that Torrez’s address on his driver’s license and registration weren’t correct, and gave two other addresses for Torrez on the same street.

It appears the family did not know the suspect, police told CNN affiliate KOAT.

75 Year Old Army Vet James Vernon Saves 16 Children From Knife Attack by 19 Year Old Dustin Brown at at Morton Public Library in Illinois

SCARED MONKEYS HERO OF THE WEEK … 75 YEAR OLD RETIRED VETERAN JAMES VERNON.

75 year old US military vet James Vernon saves that day as he fought off a crazed knife wielding lunatic, 19 year old Dustin Brown, and saved 16 children at a public library in Illinois. James Vernon was teaching a chess class with 16 children at Morton Public Library when authorities say 19-year-old Dustin Brown entered the room with two knives. That is when the 75 year old vet took action. Vernon suffered “two cut arteries and a tendon” while defending the kids and credited his knife-fighting skills he learned in the US Army for allowing him to delay Brown enough to get the kids to safety. According to a court affidavit, Dustin Brown told police afterward that he “failed in his mission to kill everyone.” Thanks to the efforts of hero James Vernon. Brown was ordered held on $800,000 bond pending a November 5 court appearance on charges of attempted murder, armed violence, aggravated battery to a person over age 60 and burglary for entering the library with intent to commit a crime. This POS is also due in court Monday, Oct 22 on child pornography charges filed against him in March.

Pekin Daily Times:

Sixteen children and a handful of their mothers found the only door to their library room blocked by a man who held hunting knives in each hand as he screamed, “I’m going to kill some people!”

Dustin Brown, 19, specifically wanted to kill children Tuesday at Morton Public Library, he said after the would-be victims escaped safely.

Had he brought a firearm instead, “It would’ve been a different story,” James Vernon said Thursday.

Blood was shed, but mostly Vernon’s, because the retired chess club teacher kept his cool, gave his class an avenue of flight and remembered the knife-fight training the Army gave him five decades ago.

Vernon, 75, won his “90 seconds of combat” with Brown, “but I felt like I lost the war,” he chuckled. He cut two arteries and a tendon on Vernon’s left hand as Vernon blocked Brown’s knife swipe.

“I failed my mission to kill everyone,” Brown told police, according to a prosecutor’s court affidavit that accompanied formal charges Thursday that included attempted murder.
