GOP Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell Says IRS Revelations ‘Just The Beginning’ … Head of the IRS Should Resign

IRS-GATE … Mitch McConnell, the Republican Senate Minority Leader says the head of the IRS should resign.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (KY-R) believes that the information trickling out of the IRS and their weak attempt at an apology to try and get out in front of the damning story, is just the tip of the iceberg. McConnell told Breitbart News that he  does not believe that the assertions by the IRS that its efforts to target conservative groups were relegated to low-level employees. McConnell believes that the IRS involvement extends up the chain to the White House. An investigation is needed; however, McConnell does not trust  any Democrat-led investigation into the IRS scandal. McConnell also added that the recent IRS revelations were “just the beginning of the story. This is no little thing. This is a big thing.” Or as Vice President Joe Biden says … IRS-GATE is a big “f*cking deal”.

The scandal, McConnell said, extends up the chain. “The Obama effort to shut up opponents isn’t limited to the IRS,” he stated. “It applies to the FCC [Federal Communications Commission], SEC [Securities and Exchange Commission], FEC [Federal Elections Commission], HHS [Department of Health and Human Services] …. And you remember, the Obama campaign last year published a list of eight businessmen who it believed were enemies.”

McConnell further noted reports that the Department of Health and Human Services had been contacting businesses “skeptical about the implementation of Obamacare and asking them to contribute money to sell the program to the American people. That’s absolutely improper if not illegal. This administration will stop at nothing to get its way. It will do anything it can to silence its critics.”

Looks like typical Chicago-style, Obama politics, doesn’t it? This is what happens when “BIG GOVERNMENT” is allowed to run without any restraint.

UPDATE I: Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell tells National Review that Steven Miller, the acting head of the Internal Revenue Service, should step down.  Step down? Individuals should be sent to jail for violating the trust of the American people and violating the United States Constitution. It is beyond comprehension that in the United States of America we have an agency like the IRS going after Americans for expressing their First Amendment rights of free speech and educations others on of all things, the US Constitution. UNREAL!!! Of course the head of the IRS has to go and so does the whole lot of them. No one trusted the IRS before this … NOW EVERYONE HAS A REASON NOT TO.

“He should resign,” the senator says. “Believe me, if this was a Republican administration doing all this, the New York Times and Washington Post would be in absolute meltdown.”

President Obama, he adds, shouldn’t escape blame: “They all take their cues from the tone expressed by the president, and he’s made it clear that this administration is perfectly willing to crack down on critics.”

Miller worked as a deputy commissioner of the IRS under Douglas Shulman, who ran the agency from 2008 to late 2012. He and Shulman have been the focus of public outrage over the IRS’s targeting of conservative groups.

 UPDATE II: The House Ways and Means Committee has scheduled a formal hearing Friday to probe the Internal Revenue Service for placing heavier scrutiny on conservative groups that applied for nonprofit status between 2010 and 2012.

President Barack Hussein Obama stated, “I am not a dictator. I am the president.” Really? It’s been my experience in life when ever some one has to tell you who they are not, they usually are.

Isn’t it dictators who disregard the will of the people and cram their agenda down the throats of those they rule, such like Obamacare? Isn’t it dictators like Nicolae Ceausescu, Saddam Hussein, and Fidel Castro who also released criminal prisoners? Isn’t it dictators who play class warfare and keep its citizens at each others throats so that they can rule by fiat? Isn’t it a dictator who threatens the media to keep them in line so that they will operate as their propaganda tool? Isn’t it a dictator who wants to keep the people dependent upon the government and food stamps, and cause individuals to struggle as median incomes fall? Isn’t it a dictator who makes false promises to their people to keep them in line when they knew all along it was a lie? Isn’t it a dictator who would consistently show contempt for the US Constitution whose sole purpose was to define federal authority and the rights of the People?

Isn’t it a dictator who would watch millions of Americans struggle, lose their jobs, homes and businesses while they go on vacations, weekly gold outings and live the life of Riley?  All the while they say they care, but do nothing but keep the citizenry at conflict with one another. Isn’t it a dictator who would over-regulate business in order to control and suppress the economy? Isn’t it a dictator who blames everyone one else for the ills of society, when they are the one who is in control? Isn’t it a dictator who would want to control an individuals entire life from birth to death? All in all, I would say you are a dictator.

Sorry, I know tyranny when I see it.

The liberal hate continues from US Rep. Steve Cohen (TN-D) via the airwaves of MSNBC. Cohen went on to MSNBC and was interviewed by Ed Schultz following Cohen’s hateful comments where he compared Republicans to Nazi’s. As stated by NewsBusters, the interview began as some what of an apology from Cohen; however, it wound up being something much different.

The interview actually started out seeming to be an opportunity for Cohen to apologize for his Tuesday comments, with Schultz asking: “Congressman, did you go too far there?” Cohen seemed hesitantly remorseful: “Well, apparently so because a lot of people, I guess, hold a strict liability rule on mentioning the Holocaust or anything….I’ve learned that lesson, I guess.” However, he quickly added: “But everything I said was true and I think people agree that it was true. That there’s been a message. It’s been given over and over and over and it’s a lie.”

Shultz followed up: “But do you feel like you, you know, brought us to a point where there should not have been a comparison, because the Holocaust was so horrific, as opposed to a repeal on health care?…Are you sorry for making the connection?” Cohen was more affirmative in an apology: “I definitely am. And I’m sorry any Jewish people, my Republican colleagues, or anybody, got the wrong impression….I hate if I participated in anything that made my congress, which I’m greatly honored to be a member of, or my district, which I love, have any problems.”

The irony of it all or is it just pathetic liberal, moonbat journalism. As Hot Air points out, during the MSLSD interview  there was an “over the line” graphics up, yet never did Ed Schultz challenge Cohen.

It would appear that Steven Cohen has become the new Alan Grayson for the Democrats. He continued his hateful rhetoric and lack of civility after saying that he has learned his lesson, Cohen went on to compare Pence to Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels and receiving no resistance from Ed Schultz.

The Obama State Department warned Columbia University students not to discuss WikiLeaksOn Facebook, Twitter or post links to WikiLeaks and the classified 250,000 documents. If they do, it could endanger their future job prospects. So from the Obama government comes the following, do not even discuss WikiLeaks content or else?  Talk about a blatant government threat and a violation of the First Amendment.

Talking about WikiLeaks on Facebook or Twitter could endanger your job prospects, a State Department official warned students at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs this week.

An email from SIPA’s Office of Career Services went out Tuesday afternoon with a caution from the official, an alumnus of the school. Students who will be applying for jobs in the federal government could jeopardize their prospects by posting links to WikiLeaks online, or even by discussing the leaked documents on social networking sites, the official was quoted as saying.

“[The alumnus] recommends that you DO NOT post links to these documents nor make comments on social media sites such as Facebook or through Twitter,” the Office of Career Services advised students. “Engaging in these activities would call into question your ability to deal with confidential information, which is part of most positions with the federal government.”

This time the TSA has overreacted and arrested  Sam Wolanyk, a San Diego resident, this weekend after he refused to complete the TSA screening process. Wolanyk then suffered the indignity at the hands of the TSA by being paraded through the airport in his underwear. Is this how the Obama/Napolitano TSA saves face for their screw up in letting the “underwear” bomber on a place last Christmas?

The TSA is out of control and some thing must be done before the Thanksgiving Day travel rush. If this continues, there is going to be mayhem this week. A group of high school students attending a conservative leadership conference in Washington, D.C. said they were ordered by a security guard to stop singing the national anthem during a June 25 visit to the Lincoln Memorial.

“They told them to stop singing,” said Evan Gassman, a spokesman for the Young America’s Foundation. “I was taken aback. You wouldn’t expect a display of national patriotism to be censored.”

Talk about one opf the most ignorant, lack of common sense PC nonsense that might have ever been made. The singing of the American National Anthem is considered a demonstration. WHAT!!! It must remain neutral, neutral to what? Is the national anthem at a US President’s memorial going to offend some one?

U.S. Park Police confirmed that the students were in violation of federal law and their impromptu performance constituted a demonstration in an area that must remain “completely content neutral.”

“The area they were standing in and singing is an area that is restricted for this type of activity,” said Sgt. David Schlosser. “The United States Park Police is absolutely content-neutral when it comes to any sort of demonstrations in these areas.”

Get this, in some idiots infinite wisdom it is deemed ok to do what these patriotic school children were doing 25 steps away. UNREAL! KUDOS to the school kids for standing their ground, not moving an inch and continuing to sing.

Schlosser said the students would have been in compliance had they moved approximately 25 steps from where they were standing.

“It’s not the content of their activity – that being the national anthem – it’s the location,” he said. “A couple steps and it would have been no problem whatsoever.”

Instead of doing as they were instructed, Gassman said the students resumed the song – an impromptu form of civil disobedience.

And so it begins … From CBS News, TSA to Block “Controversial Opinion” on the Web. The Obama government cracks down on FREE SPEACH and will restrict what they deem as “Controversial Opinion.”

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is blocking certain websites from the federal agency’s computers, including halting access by staffers to any Internet pages that contain a “controversial opinion,” according to an internal email obtained by CBS News.

The type of web sites to be blocked are:

• Chat/Messaging
• Controversial opinion
• Criminal activity
• Extreme violence (including cartoon violence) and gruesome content
• Gaming

Controversial opinion? Maybe some would like to define that please! Unbelievable. You mean that chat and gaming sites were not previously off limits? Let’s hope the TSA has blocked the porn sites.

The email does not specify how the TSA will determine if a website expresses a “controversial opinion.” There is also no explanation as to why controversial opinions are being blocked, although the email stated that some of the restricted websites violate the Employee Responsibilities and Conduct policy.
The TSA did not return calls seeking comment by publication time.

Does this mean that the TSA will block every newspapers editorialpage? Will the NY Times OPED be blocked, hardly. So because the Obama Administration considers the Arizona immigration law controversial, any one who writes a pro-AZ article will be blocked? Hows, that Hope and Change working out for you America?
