US Secretary of State John Kerry Invents New Country of Kyrzakhstan … Imagine How the MSM would Have Reported if He were a Republican?
What a joke … You don’t get a second chance to make a first impression, unless you are a Democrat.
The new US Secretary of State John Kerry is off to a rather inauspicious start. In his first trip abroad during a speech he managed to invent a new country … Kyrzakhstan. It would appear that Obama’s Secretary of State needs a geography lesson. As reported at the Daily Mail, Kerry’s gaffe emerged as he arrived in London for the first leg of an 11-day tour of Europe and the Middle East, making his debut in his new job. Imagine, just imagine how this gaffe would have been reported if Kerry was a Republican. But of course there is no liberal, media double standard. With the bumbling, stumbling stupidity of and anti-Israel nomination of recently Senate approved Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel and John “why the long face” Kerry, should we expect anything else from the failed Obama presidency? Dear God help us.
In an embarrassing slip of the tongue, the new US secretary of state praises US diplomats working to secure “democratic institutions” in a Central Asian country, which does not exist.
US Secretary of State John Kerry was referring to the poor, landlocked nation of 5.5 million, Kyrgyzstan, but he appeared to confuse it with its resource-rich neighbour to the north, Kazakhstan.

Hollywood Leftist Ben Affleck Says He Will Not Run for US Senate Seat in Massachusetts
The great national wait is over whether Hollywood Leftist actor Ben Affleck says he will not be running for the US Senate seat of Massachusetts. The seat will presumably be up for special election once Sen. John Kerry is approved by the Senate to be the next US Secretary of State. What a load off every one’s mind that Affleck will not be running. We can all sleep now. Of course he is not running for office, its easier to complain about things and be a pseudo political activist on MSNBC rather than actually affect change. Also, there is that little issue about the pay cut.
Ben Affleck is taking his name off the list of possible candidates for U.S. Sen. John Kerry’s seat, which would be open if the Democratic senator from Massachusetts is confirmed as secretary of state.
Affleck says in a Monday posting on his Facebook page that while he loves the political process, he will not be running for public office.
It is rather interesting and telling when the big mouth Left is presented with an opportunity to put there money career where their mouth is, they decline.

Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) to be Obama’s Nominee for Next Secretary of State … Other Replacements: Sen. Hagel (NE) Secretary of Defense.
Reporting for Secretary of State duty …
ABC News is reporting that Senator John Kerry (D-MA) will be nominated by President Barack Obama for the position of Secretary of State replacing the out going Hillary Clinton. Kerry became the obvious second choice for Obama once his first choice UN Ambassador Susan Rice withdrew her name because of the Benghazi-gate fiasco and her participation in misleading the American people on five Sunday talk shows when she stated that the attacks were a result of a video tape, rather than terrorism. The nomination should take place some time next week.
Sources tell ABC News that President Obama has decided that he will nominate Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., to be secretary of state.
For a variety of reasons including the finalization of the process, other pending Cabinet decisions, and — more immediately — the national reaction to the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, the news will not be announced in the next few days.
What a joke this is going to be. How bad is it when John Kerry is the lesser of two evils? As stated at Weasel Zippers, “I don’t think he could have picked a man with a worse track record on foreign policy.” More concern for Kerry’s nomination for the position at Powerline, who questions “Kerry’s opinions in American foreign policy is long and deep, distinguished by its devotion to mischief, error and misjudgment.” Agreed. Although, if Kerry did not get this position, would he have been in line for and reporting for duty as Secretary of Defense? No matter how you look at it, its just a terrible choice for America and a reminder that elections have consequences.
It is also being reported that former GOP Senator Chuck Hagel of Nebraska will be nominated for Secretary of Defense.

US Senators Up for Reelection in 2014, More Democrats at Risk than Republicans
2014 US Senate …
It is not too early to take a look to see what US Senaotrs are up for reelection in 2014. The GOP has managed to royally screw up the take over of seats in 2012 as they literally gave away the Senate races in Indiana and Missouri. Let this be a valuable learning lesson for Republicans and their choices for solid candidates. The GOP does not need moderate, wishy-washy candidates; however, they also do not need walking nightmares the likes of Murdoch and Akin who snatched defeat from a sure win by not being able to explain their positions. A note to GOP candidates in the future, if you feel the need to say that God is for rape … shut your trap. All GOP candidates must realize the MSM is not on your side and will spin your words to make them sound even worse than they are. So if you cannot intelligently present your ideas and beliefs to the people, you need not run.
The mere numbers of states that need to be defended tell us that Democrats once again have to do the heavy lifting to defend their turf. Democrats have far more seats up for election than the GOP and most Republican seats appear to be safe. However, we have seen this story before. Republicans best get their act in gear and come up with far better candidates than 2012.
Democrat Senators up for reelection:
- Warner, Mark R. – (D – VA) – Seems safe as VA has trended Democrat, but would it in an off year election?
- Coons, Christopher A. – (D – DE) – Safe
- Durbin, Richard J. – (D – IL) – Safe
- Franken, Al – (D – MN) – Could be vulnerable, Franken won in a close, questionable election in the wave election of 2008.
- Hagan, Kay R. – (D – NC) – North Carolina is one of the few battleground states that went to Romney in 2012, could be a vulnerable seat in 2014 for Democrats.
- Harkin, Tom – (D – IA) – Safe
- Johnson, Tim – (D – SD) – Safe unless he decides to retire.
- Kerry, John F. – (D – MA) – It has been rumored that Kerry may be Obama’s next Secretary of State in his 2nd term. If this occurs there will be a special election for this seat prior to the full election.
- Landrieu, Mary L. – (D – LA) – Louisiana is a red state; however, the Landrieu name is an institution in the Byou.
- Lautenberg, Frank R. – (D – NJ) – It is hard to believe that Lautenberg will run for reelection as he will be 90 years old in 2014. If he does decide to run its just another case for the Senate having term limits.
- Levin, Carl – (D – MI) – Safe
- Merkley, Jeff – (D – OR) – Safe
- Pryor, Mark L. – (D – AR) – Would the red state of Arkansas want to switch to a GOP Senator? It all depends on how good a candidate they run.
- Reed, Jack – (D – RI) – Safe
- Rockefeller, John D., IV – (D – WV) – Safe if he runs, he will be 77 but that seems to be a spring chicken these days in the Senate.
- Shaheen, Jeanne – (D – NH) – one never knows in a swing state in an off-year election.
- Udall, Mark – (D – CO) – Another swing state that has trended Democrat, but who knows in an off year election of a 2nd term president.
- Udall, Tom – (D – NM) – The state has trended Democrat, most likely safe.
- Baucus, Max – (D – MT) – hard to believe that such a red state has a Democrat Senator.
- Begich, Mark – (D – AK) – could be a targeted seat as Begich was elected during the wave election of 2008. No reason why Alaska has a Democrat Senator.
Republican Senators up for reelection:
- Johanns, Mike – (R – NE) – Safe
- Chambliss, Saxby – (R – GA) – Safe
- Cochran, Thad – (R – MS) – Safe
- Collins, Susan M. – (R – ME) – Safe if she does not retire
- Cornyn, John – (R – TX) – Safe
- Enzi, Michael B. – (R – WY) – Safe
- Graham, Lindsey – (R – SC) – Safe, unless the GOP pulls another 2012 Indiana Senate race debacle.
- Inhofe, James M. – (R – OK) – Safe
- Sessions, Jeff – (R – AL) – Safe
- Roberts, Pat – (R – KS) – Safe
- McConnell, Mitch – (R – KY) – Safe
- Risch, James E. – (R – ID) – Safe
- Alexander, Lamar – (R – TN) – Safe, however, would not be surprised if he is seriously challenged in the primaries.

Daily Commentary – Friday, June 1, 2012 – The Truth Squad Tracks Down John Kerry’s Yacht Isable in Newport R.I.
- The Boston Herald Truth Squad made a surprise inspection of the $7 million Isabel last week.
The Herald Truth Squad made a surprise inspection of the $7 million Isabel last week while it was docked in tony Newport, R.I. — a strange location considering it’s the place that landed Kerry in hot water two summers ago.
That’s when the Herald reported that the Massachusetts Democrat was avoiding a six-figure sales tax bill by keeping the luxury yacht in Rhode Island, rather than Massachusetts. The senior senator sustained major political damage, but Kerry eventually paid up and moved the Isabel to his home base of Nantucket.
Kerry’s office told the Truth Squad last week that the Isabel is still registered in Nantucket, and was apparently just making a stopover in Newport.

John “Don’t You Know Who I Am” Kerry Says … I Would Have Been A Good President, Maybe Even A Great One”
John Kerry thinks he was a good President, maybe even a great one … before he was, well he was never going to be elected President.
What delusional pill are they putting in the water in the Democrat party? In an interview with Don Imus, US Senator John Kerry (D-MA) said that he thought he would have been a “good President.” In fact, he added, “a great President.(VIDEO)” What’s next, Kerry saying that he thinks his likeness should be carved into Mount Rushmore? Hmm, so does Kerry think or just say that he would be a better President than Obama?
Thurston Howell III John Kerry Says he would have made a great President
IMUS: “Well, you would’ve been a much better President.”
KERRY: “I would have been a good President. Maybe even a great one. How about that?”
Um, how many great President do you know that call the voters ignorant? Heck, we begged that Kerry be Obama’s VP.
US Senator John Kerry (MA-D) Christmas … “The Season of Giving” to Me
John Kerry not quite understanding that giving is better than to receive …
John Kerry, the senior US Senator from Massachusetts, seems to have misread the meaning of the Christmas and the season of giving. Kerry rented out the Boston Symphony, where tickets range from $75 to $4,800 for his political fund raising extravaganza.
Tis the season to be giving to Me
Obviously, the high browed, Democrat eleite has not figured out that there is political fatigue or during this Christmas season, a tough economy. BTW, Kerry does not face reelection for four years.

John Kerry Calls Voters Ignorant … Democrats’ Woes Stem from Uninformed voters
Democrats cannot help themselves, they think American voters are ignorant and say it.
John Kerry, the liberal, blue blood US Senator from Massachusetts proves exactly why the American voters have had it with Democrats and are about to throw them out of office this November. Democrats with overwhelming majorities in the US House of Representatives and the US Senate have listened little to the American voters and have crammed unpopular legislation down the throats of the American people. Now, with the voters angered, John Kerry calls them uniformed. Nice job Senator Kerry, calling the voters stupid. Way to ingratiate yourself to an already upset electorate.
Kerry says … The Little People are just to uninformed to understand
A testy U.S. Sen. John F. Kerry yesterday blamed clueless voters with short attention spans for the uphill battle beleaguered Democrats are facing against Republicans across the nation.
“We have an electorate that doesn’t always pay that much attention to what’s going on so people are influenced by a simple slogan rather than the facts or the truth or what’s happening,” Kerry told reporters after touring the Boston Medical Center yesterday.

John Kerry’s Sails Tax Dodge on his $7 Million Yacht Wont Go Away
Massachusetts US Senator John Kerry, Taxes for Thee, not for Me.
The senior Senator from the Bay State is being question by Fox News Boston as to why he avoided paying taxes in Massachusetts on his $7 million yacht by docking it in Rhode Island where there is no Sails, sales tax on boats.
Kerry was heard to say following the interview, don’t they know who I am!
Hat Tip: Gateway Pundit
Kerry may still be on the hook for a half million dollars in excise taxes because he docked his yacht in Massachusetts less than six months after buying it.
The controversy came up following a report that Kerry moored the multi-million dollar yacht in Rhode Island , rather than the Bay State to save on sales tax.
A spokesman for the senator says Kerry never intended to evade taxes and kept the boat in Rhode Island for maintenance reasons.
Oh, of course the intent was never to evade the taxes. Listen to Kerry get all righteous when questioned about the sales tax on his $7 million boat. This coming from a man who says that evil business avoids taxes and expenses by taking jobs over seas. Hypocrite, what is the difference? Not only did Kerry knowingly dock his boat in a state where he would have to pay no taxes to his home state of Massachusetts, he also had his boat built over seas taking jobs away from Americans.
I guess VP Joe Biden would not consider Senator Kerry patriotic.
Kerry wants rich people to pay more, except himself. Think about this folks, a Democrat who rails that rich people make too much money and should be taxed more is dodging his own tax burden by using a tax shelter. Kerry claims that he pays his fair share of taxes, really? If Kerry is going to tell others who make $250,000 a year to pay more taxes who could never afford a $7 million sailboat, then why isn’t he?
But it’s different for people like John Kerry and Democrats of wealth. They tell you what to do with your money, not their own.

Political Shipwreck: John Kerry’s Yacht, the SS Flip-Flop Built in New Zealand, What About American Workers Mr. Senator?
The story of John Kerry’s yacht, the S.S. Flip-Flop gets even better, or worse if you are an American ship builder.
John Kerry says, “Don’t you know who I am and hoe many taxes I pay?” It should be more than enough, why can’t I shelter my $7 million sail boat in a state that has now boat taxes?
Last week it was reported that Massachusetts US Senator John Kerry had avoided taxes in the Bay States by docking his $7 million sail boat in Rhode Island. But wait, the story has continued sea legs as “New England boat builders say shame on Sen. John Kerry for buying a $7 million New Zealand-built luxury yacht while local ship makers struggle to find work.”
“Darn, that would have been a wonderful job for a Maine builder,” said Jane Wellehan, president of the trade group Maine Built Boats. “If someone comes to build a $7 million boat that would employ half the population of some towns for a year or two. Boat building is such a critical component of our coastal economy.”
Gregory Egan, who owns the Crosby Yacht Yard in Osterville, said Bay State boat builders must feel cut adrift by Kerry as well.
“I’m confident that anything constructed in New Zealand could be constructed here in the state,” he said. “From a political perspective, it seems to me he could have thought twice about that one.”
