President Obama Not Welcome in Roseburg, Oregon Because of ‘Grandstanding’ and ”Politicizing’ Deaths of 9 at Umpqua Community College

President Barack Obama is supposed to travel to Oregon later this week to visit privately with families of the victims of last week’s shooting at Umpqua Community College. However, that does not mean that every one is happy to see him come. Many in fact do not want his there and as David Jaques, the publisher of the newspaper the Roseburg Beacon, the president is not welcome here. The unwelcome wagon sentiments is a result of Barack Obama politicization of the college shooting mere hours after the incident with no facts, no identifications and no clue. Obama made no bones about it, “This Is Something We Should Politicize”. REALLY?

He stated in his presser, in the coming days we will learn about the victims, but this is the time to politicize gun control and the hell with the Second Amendment.

This Is Something We Should Politicize

President Barack Obama will travel to Oregon this week to visit privately with families of the victims of last week’s shooting at a community college.

However the trip has angered locals in Roseburg who say Obama is ‘not welcome’ in the town because the visit will be nothing but a ‘grandstand for political purposes’.

Leading the chorus is David Jaques, the publisher of conservative newspaper the Roseburg Beacon.

‘I think that’s very inappropriate, and I think it’s disrespectful to the families,’ Jaques told Breitbart News.

Jaques believes Obama held a press conference straight after the shooting, in which nine people were killed, with another nine injures.

In Jaques’ opinion, the press conference was too soon.

‘We haven’t even identified bodies, we’ve still got incident command trying to contain the scene, and he’s holding a press conference 3,000 miles away from here, telling — almost implying that he could have single-handedly prevented this if the Congress would have listened to him.’

‘I think he admitted it himself.

‘His visit here isn’t a re-election campaign stop, but it is a campaign stop for an agenda that he and his associates believe is important.

‘And that is to take away Americans right to own firearms.’

‘It shows not only a total disdain, a disregard for Constitution, but our very citizens, especially those of us right here in Douglas County.

‘We believe in the Second Amendment. We believe in the whole Constitution.’

NFL Officials Blow Call in MNF Game Between Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions … Illegal Bat Penalty Should Have Given Lions the Ball on the 1 Yard Line

Well, the NFL officials have managed to screw up another call and this time it looks like they cost a NFL team a football game. The Detroit Lions were going into score to win the game against the Seattle Seahawks with seconds left in the game. All-world WR Calvin Johnson caught the pass and was heading into the end zone when the Seahawks Cam Chancellor punched the ball from the receivers hands and the ball went into the end zone and then the football was knocked out of bounds by K.J. Wright. Game over and touch-back to Seattle, right? As Lee Corso would say … Not so fast my friend.

Football Rules for Dummies

“I have spoken to the referee (Tony Corrente). He did not see that part of the play because that is not his area. The back judge (Greg Wilson) felt it was not an intentional act, that it was inadvertent,” he added.

Wright, however, admitted that it was an intentional act.

“I wanted to just knock it out of bounds and not try to catch it and fumble it,” he said. ” I was just trying to make a good play for my team.

Once again the NFL has 10,000 rules and yet some how they still can’t get the obvious correct. If all turnovers are reviewable, how in the hell isn’t the entirety of the play reviewable? Don’t give me this crap of intent. The facts are the fact of a play and it is obvious that the player, K.J. Wright intentionally batted the ball out of bounds. If you asked him at the time of the play he would have admitted it. But a gutless and clueless NFL back judge refused to make the call. What’s the matter coward, you afraid the 12th Man would have attacked you? Or is it that the NFL and Roger Goodell needs to protect the Seahawks from going 1-3?

This is not the first time that Seattle has been given a gift by NFL referees as we all remember the infamous “Fail Mary”. However, at least those were replacement refs. What was your excuse last night? With so many plays now reviewed, one has to wonder what the purpose is anymore of a referee during a game. There was no guarantee that the Lions would have scored from the one yard line, after all it is the Lions. However, wouldn’t it have been ironic that the Seattle D was on the field with a chance to win the game, something their offense could not do in last year’s Super Bowl against the New England patriots.

USA TODAY: NFL Blows it Again.

Another Monday night in Seattle, another controversial ending.

The NFL’s officiating crew botched the ruling on what appeared to be a remarkable game-clinching play in the Seattle Seahawks’ 13-10 escape from the Detroit Lions.

Seahawks Pro Bowl safety Kam Chancellor punched the ball from the hands of Lions wideout Calvin Johnson as he was about to cross the goal line for the go-ahead score. The ball rolled through the end zone, and Seattle linebacker K.J. Wright intentionally tapped the ball over the back line, thinking the Seahawks would take possession on a touchback, which they did with 1:45 to go.

But should they have?

“You can’t bat the ball in any direction in the end zone. K.J. Wright batted the football, that is a foul for an illegal bat,” NFL vice president of officiating Dean Blandino said on NFL Network following the game.

11 Year Old Boy Faces 1st Degree Murder Charges in the Shooting Death of 8 Year Old MaKayla Dyer in White Pine, TN

An 11 year old boy has been charged with the shooting death of his 8 year old neighbor, MaKayla Dyer. The unidentified boy, due to his age, is reported to have shot MaKayla Dyer with a 12-guage shotgun over a discussion about puppies. That’s correct. An 8 year old is dead today over puppies. For an eleven year old to do something this callous and heinous, there is more going on with this child than an argument over puppies. According to accounts from a neighbor, Chasity Atwood,  “He asked the little girl to see her puppies. She said no and laughed and then turned around, looked at her friend and said, ‘Let’s go get the — ‘ and never got ‘puppies’ out.” The boy then shot her in the chest with a shotgun owned by the boy’s father. Look for the father to be charged with reckless endangerment or negligent homicide as well. Who the hell in their right mind owns guns and just has them out in the open with children present in the home?

Authorities were called to Robin Road in White Pine around 7:30 p.m. Saturday on a report of a shooting.

Deputies found the girl on the ground with a gunshot wound to the chest. She was taken to Morristown-Hamblen Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Sheriff Bud McCoig said the young girl’s next-door neighbor, a fifth grader at White Pine Elementary School, used his father’s 12-gauge single-shot shotgun to shoot and kill the girl from inside his house. The victim was in second grade at the same school.

Officials have not released the name of the shooter or the victim, but neighbors identified the victim as Maykayla Dyer.

Sheriff McCoig would not release any details on a possible motive, but neighbors say the two were arguing over a puppy.

“Wanting to see a puppy, the little girl laughed and told him no, and that was it,” neighbor Chasity Arwood said.

NBC News: Tennessee Boy, 11, Charged With Killing Girl After Argument Over Puppies.

Dyer was transported to Morristown-Hamblen Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The boy is being held in juvenile court on charges of first-degree murder.

At Dyer’s school on Monday, principal Bill Walker told reporters that “it’s not just the school that’s hurting — it’s the whole community,” he said, adding, “We remember her smile and her beautiful face and her interaction with her classmates.”

West Hartford Police Officer Refused service at a Dunkin’ Donuts … Was Told “We Don’t Serve Cops Here.”

This crap is happening far too often and its about time the public just start not going to places and spending money in places that are so disrespectful to authority. According to FOX- CT, a West Hartford police officer was told by an employee at the Dunkin Donuts located at 1234 Farmington Avenue in West Hartford, CT that “He didn’t get the message. We don’t serve cops here.” The police officer then walked out of the establishment with the manager and the employee following him, apologizing. Honestly, what is wrong with these people? Can you imagine the outrage and the boycott of their store if they had said the same thing to a black, gay or illegal? Maybe the West Hartford police do not need to do any more drive by’s of the Dunkin Donut’s at night or take their time if there is a call there.

An officer entered the Dunkin Donuts located at 1234 Farmington Avenue in West Hartford to purchase a cup of coffee. The store was busy with a number of customers inside.

According to police, as the officer was standing at the back of the line, an employee looked over at him said loudly, “He didn’t get the message. We don’t serve cops here.”

The officer exited the store without any workers saying anything further. Police said as the officer was returning to his cruiser, he was approached by the manager and the employee who was apologizing and stated she was only joking.

The officer told the employee that instead of apologizing to him, she should apologize to the people in the store who appeared to take offense to her comment.

UPDATE I: Police, Community React To Dunkin’ Donuts Worker’s Refusal To Serve West Hartford Cop.

The day after a West Hartford police officer was refused service at a Dunkin’ Donuts, people from Connecticut and across the country reacted on social media.

Dozens tweeted the accounts of the local Connecticut Dunkin’ Donuts franchise group and the national Dunkin’ Donuts headquarters, many users calling for a boycott of the company and for the employee to be fired.

Both accounts answered with the same response: “We are aware, Dunkin’ Donuts & our franchisees share a commitment to the well-being & fair treatment of all of guests. The crew member exhibited poor judgement & the franchisee has apologized to the police officer on behalf of Dunkin’ Donuts.”

Connecticut State Police tweeted support for the franchise on Sunday.

“Despite the actions of 1, we know our friends @DunkinDonuts support us,” the state police account posted.

The tweet was in response to an incident on Saturday at the Dunkin’ Donuts at 1234 Farmington Ave., during which a West Hartford police officer waiting in line was told by an employee that “we don’t serve cops here,” according to a police report.

The Search for Missing Cargo Ship El Faro Finds 225 Sq. Mile Debris Field Found After Ship Vanishes in Hurricane Joaquin (Missing ID’s: Jeremy Riehm, Steven Shultz and Keith Griffin)

The Coast Guard continues to search for the missing US flagged cargo ship El Faro that vanished during Hurricane Joaquin. Searches have found a 225-square-mile debris field.  According to AccuWeather Meteorologist Edward Vallee, “At the time the ship went missing, Joaquin was churning through the southeastern Bahamas with winds sustained at 125 mph. Seas were observed up to 30 feet along with blinding rain and strong winds.”

A 225-square-mile “debris field” was discovered by crews looking for signs of a cargo ship carrying 28 Americans that vanished during Hurricane Joaquin — a frantic search entering its fifth day.

The Coast Guard said it had scoured 70,000 square nautical miles of the Atlantic as the search resumed at daybreak Monday.

Three more Americans were identified among the 33 people on board the El Faro container vessel, which hasn’t been heard from since Thursday. A distress call indicated it had lost power and was taking on water as it sailed through the Bahamas at the height of the hurricane.

South Florida men Jeremy Riehm, 46, and Steven Shultz, 51, were named by their families as among the missing, according to NBC affiliate WBBH. A third American was identified as Keith Griffin.

CNN: Coast Guard finds debris field in search for El Faro.

Sadly, the fact that the US Coast Guard has found an oil slick in the debris field may mean that the ship broke apart.

The U.S. Coast Guard reported Sunday evening that it had discovered a 225-square-mile debris field in the Caribbean Sea during its search for missing container ship El Faro.

The Jacksonville, Florida-based El Faro, which was carrying a crew of 28 Americans and five Polish nationals on its way to San Juan, Puerto Rico, went missing near the Bahamas last week as Hurricane Joaquin, with winds blowing at 130 mph, passed over the archipelago.

Sunday’s discovery of the debris field, which consisted of Styrofoam, wood, cargo and other items, according the Coast Guard, came only hours after the agency said searchers had found “multiple items,” including an oil sheen, life jackets and containers in the same search area.

Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) Launched Campaign to Become House Speaker (VIDEO) … “I think the American Public wants to see a Change.”

As reported at The Politico, Rep. Jason Chaffetz (UT-R) has officially launched a campaign to become the next Republican Speaker of the House. He is currently the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman. Rep. Chaffetz said this morning on Fox News Sunday, “I think the American public wants to see a change. They want a fresh start. You don’t just give an automatic promotion to the existing leadership team, that doesn’t signal change. I think they want a fresh face and a fresh new person who’s actually there at the leadership table in the speaker’s role.”

Chaffetz described himself as well-positioned to “bridge the divide” between the establishment and conservative factions of the Republicans in the House.

Majority Leader McCarthy has broad support within the House Republican Conference and remains the overwhelming favorite to succeed outgoing Speaker John Boehner. But isn’t he just a continuation of the GOP establishment problem? If Republicans in the House make McCarthy the next Speaker, it will just show they are tone deaf and refuse to listen to the people they claim to represent. Who ever becomes the Speaker better damn well use the power of the purse and defend GOP principles and understand why they were put there by We the People.

Rep. Jason Chaffetz has officially launched his dark-horse campaign for House speaker, arguing he’s a better choice to unite the fractious Republican conference and that Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy lacks the communication skills and credibility with conservatives needed to succeed in the top leadership job.

In a lengthy interview with POLITICO in his Capitol Hill office this weekend, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee predicted that opposition from conservatives will block McCarthy from securing the 218 votes he needs to be elected on the House floor later this month – and so Chaffetz is pitching himself as an alternative.

“There are very few people who can win the support of our hardcore conservatives and yet be palatable to our more moderate members,” he said. “The question is who can help unite the party and bridge the divide and I hope they see me as the person that will give everyone a fair shake.”

McCarthy has broad support within the House Republican Conference and remains the overwhelming favorite to succeed outgoing Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio). And it’s unclear how much support Chaffetz can actually garner. Chaffetz, who remarked that he’s “comfortable with losing,” would not say whether he has any pledged supporters.

But until now, McCarthy faced only token opposition in Florida Rep. Daniel Webster; Chaffetz, by contrast, is the head of a major committee and a respected figure among the rank-and-file. At the very least, the Utah Republican’s last-minute entry complicates McCarthy’s path and highlights the uneasiness with which the centrist Californian is viewed among the most conservative members of the GOP conference.

WSJ: U.S. Rep. Jason Chaffetz Says He Will Run for House Speaker.

“I think the American public wants to see a change. They want a fresh start,” Mr. Chaffetz said on Fox News Sunday. “You don’t just give an automatic promotion to the existing leadership team, that doesn’t signal change. I think they want a fresh face and a fresh new person who’s actually there at the leadership table in the speaker’s role.”

Mr. McCarthy stumbled in the past week when he suggested a panel formed to investigate the 2012 Benghazi attacks had achieved a political victory in causing Hillary Clinton’s approval rating to sink. The comments gave Democrats fodder to say that the panel is a politically motivated attempt to discredit Mrs. Clinton, the Democratic presidential candidate who was secretary of state at the time of the attacks.

Republicans have long said that their only motivation for years of hearings was to uncover the truth behind what happened when an attack on an outpost in Libya killed four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens.

Mr. Chaffetz said Thursday that Mr. McCarthy should apologize for the comments.

I will say this to Rep. Chaffetz, you are 100% incorrect when you gave political platitudes to Rep. McCarthy, “We owe Kevin McCarthy a lot; he is a major reason we enjoy the majority, with the strongest numbers we’ve had since the 1920s.” WHAT!!! NONE OF YOU IN THE GOP ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT … YOU WERE GIVEN THE MAJORITY AND INCREASING NUMBERS BY CONSERVATIVES AND THE TEA PARTY!!! Unless, you are saying such because you lied to Republicans by saying a GOP majority in the House would defund and end Obamacare, reduce the deficit, and defund liberal immoral programs like Planned Parenthood, then yes you are a reason.

Barack Obama & MSM Wrong Again on Russia: Obama to Romney During Presidential Debate … The Cold War Is Over

So who remembers this exchange between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney during the 2012 Presidential debates?

FLASHBACK … During the debate Obama mocked Romney in a condescending tone, that it was just a few months ago when Romney was asked was was the United States greatest Geo-political threat, Romney said Russia. Obama then responded with the wise-ass comment, “the 1980′s are now calling and asking for their foreign policy back”. Barack Obama stated that the Cold War was over between Russia and the United States. REALLY? The situation between Putin and Obama these days is little very Cold War’ish, isn’t it? Who wants to now admit that Romney was 100% correct and Obama is just a fool looking to just make ignorant, juvenile sound bytes? C’mon LIBS, we are all waiting for the apology.

Hmm, so I wonder what Obama has to say for himself now about Russia? As Obama and Putin are in a pissing contest over Russian planes bombing targets in Syria. Russia and Putin are vehemently defending the Syrian airstrikes and denies targeting U.S. backed rebels as Obama claims just the opposite.

How could a President be so wrong and ignorant on every issue and still get elected by We the People. There are many people to blame for this but ultimately the blame lays at the hands of the America people. Maybe you will pay the hell attention in 2016 before this country is ruined for all times.

Taliban Recapture Northern city of Kunduz in Afghanistan

The Taliban has recaptured the northern city of Kunduz in Afghanistan. As CNN reports, the loss of the major city of Kunduz to the Taliban is a stunning reversal for the Afghan government, deepening worries about the ability of its security forces to take the fight to the Islamic militants. This is the first time a Taliban has taken a city in Afghanistan since 2001. You can thank Barack Hussein Obama for leaving the Afghans in the lurch and creating the vacuum where all gains by the US military under GWB have all but been lost under Obama. This is a major, major loss. What a colossal failure, or is this what Obama wanted all along?

FOX News:

Taliban insurgents launched a massive assault on the northern city of Kunduz Monday, seizing a courthouse, a hospital and other government buildings, and freeing hundreds of inmates from a prison, despite a series of battles with government forces.

Interior Ministry spokesman Sediq Sediqqi told The Associated Press that “Kunduz city has collapsed into the hands of the Taliban.”

“Security forces in Kunduz were prepared for an attack, but not one of this size, and not one that was coordinated in 10 different locations at the same time,” Sediqqi said.

“With capturing of police compound and governor’s office in Kunduz, the whole province fell to our hands,” the Taliban’s spokesman said Monday on his Twitter account.

The Taliban used social media to claim the “conquest” of Kunduz and reassure residents that the extremist group — responsible for the vast majority of nearly 5,000 civilian casualties in the first half of this year, according to the United Nations — came in peace.

Hillary Clinton Hits the Sunday Talk Shows as Her Poll Numbers Tank … Uses Victimhood Excuse Again and the Vast Rightwing Conspiracy

The buck certainly does not stop with Hillary … Why would anyone vote for Hillary Clinton when all she does is blame every one else for her troubles, scandals and woe? With her poll numbers tanking and the once sure-fire Democrat presidential nominee in serious trouble, Hillary took to the Sunday Talk shows to tell the people she is trustworthy and transparent. However, NBC’s ‘Meet the Press’ Chuck Todd presented Clinton with a montage of her political flip-flops for political expediency. Not only does she blame the IT folks and her lawyers for dealing with her emails, she also brought up her old favorite … her email scandal is a right-wing conspiracy. Good grief Hillary, go back to the 90′s.

How can the United States ever elect such a dishonest individual as president? Its bad enough the American people don’t trust politicians, but Hillary may just be the face of that establishment, say anything for a vote, pander to the people politician.

Full Meet the Press transcript.

From Legal Insurrection:

Meet the Press host Chuck Todd set the stage for Hillary to explain her flip flops over the decades by showing a montage of clips from yesteryear.  Hillary, clearly prepared for the video and the line of questioning, assured Todd that her flip flops are not political expediency but are instead the same as Obama’s “evolution” on issues. Watch:

The goal here, I think, is to let her address the issues that matter to the Democrat base—her Iraq war vote, same-sex “marriage,” and the Keystone pipeline—and get them out of the way so she can move forward without them hanging over her head.  What better way to sell this than as the same moves Obama made with such success among the party’s base?

Other segments of the interview didn’t go quite as well for Hillary (here’s the transcript of the interview).  Her claims of victimhood (that vast rightwing conspiracy yet again), transparency, and ignorance didn’t sit well with many viewers, including Ron Fournier of The National Journal and Andrew Stiles of The Washington Free Beacon.
