Donald Trump Hosts SNL … “Because I Had Nothing Better to Do” (VIDEO)

Amid a hypocritical protest by the LEFT to squelch freedom of speech and equal time, The Donald hosted SNL …

Last night GOP presidential contender Donald Trump hosted SNL and as one of his Trump look-a likes (Taran Killam) quipped, “I think this show already got better by 2000%.” Truth of the matter is, just as the real Donald Trump predicted, last nights Saturday Night Live show was HUGE!!! According to Entertainment Weekly, SNL had a whopping 6.6 household rating on Saturday night, easily beating the season’s previous high: the 41st season premiere last month, hosted by Miley Cyrus and with a guest appearance by none other than … Hillary Clinton. The Trump’s overnight rating was 47% higher than the Miley/Hillary episode.

Donald Trump only hosted “Saturday Night Live” because he had nothing better to do.

The Republican presidential candidate made his second-ever appearance on the show, dancing to Drake and portraying his future in the White House.

“Donald — you’re the most talented guy. You’re brilliant, you’re handsome, you’re rich, you have everything going — the world is waiting for you to be president so why are you hosting Saturday Night Live?” he said during his monologue. “I didn’t have anything better to do.”

Trump also participated in a reenactment of the music video to Drake’s “Hot Line Bling,” dancing as a “tax guy,” and sang along to the now infamous chorus, “You used to call me on my cell phone.”

But of course the bias MSM and the LIBS for at the Democrat Media Complex controlled WAPO, reported that it was an over-hyped bummer. Because the WAPO is so unbias and truthful when it comes to reporting on Trump. Because it would be perfectly OK for a liberal to host or be on late night talk shows, just not Republicans who might just break the LIB myth that they are people too. As Ann Althouse opines,  “I get it. You hate Trump and you’re irked that he got the platform of “Saturday Night Live” to pose on — just like Hillary Clinton a few weeks ago and all the many other politicians who’ve had a shot at hosting over the years.”

Donald Trump’s highly touted and almost certainly inappropriate hosting gig on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” turned out to be an anemic and halfhearted dud.

Once upon a time, not so long ago, there might be a lesson to learn from Saturday’s boring and misspent episode — but that world no longer exists, certainly not where politics and TV intersect. Everything’s turned upside down. Bring back the old America, I say, the one where our preeminent vehicle for topical satire would have ably skewered a hateful, nonsensical, vainglorious presidential candidate, rather than invite him into the club and give him more of the empty-calorie media attention he seeks.

Saturday Night Live Mocks NCAA Basketball Final and the Student Athlete Hypocrisy … “It’s like I tell all my players, college is the most important year of your life.”

CLASSIC SARCASM FROM SNL ON NCAA COLLEGE BASKETBALL.

Saturday Night Live nailed last night’s cold opening … as SNL not only mocks NCAA college basketball and the notion of the student athlete, but gets it 100% correct. Just minutes after the second game of the NCAA Final 4 ended that saw the previously undefeated University of Kentucky Wildcats fall to the Wisconsin Badgers, 71-64, SNL began their cold open with a complete mockery of the NCAA’s so-called “student-athlete”. The best line of the skit was when Taran Killam, playing Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski said,  “It’s like I tell all my players: college is the most important year of your life.” The premise of the sarcastic skit was that Duke was holding out freshman center Jahlil Okafor from Monday night’s NCAA College basketball game, not because he was hurt, sick or tore an ACL, but because he has a big Biology test on Tuesday to study for. Ha, ha, ha … that is just too funny.

When asked whether Mike Krzyzewski/Taran Killa was relly going to hold Okafor out of the Championship game because of a Biology exam he said, “Of course I am, guys these are student-athletes [emphasis on student]. Students! If they only came to college to play basketball, then we all would look pretty silly”.

The only thing that would have made this funnier and even more truthful was if they used Kentucky head coach John “one and done” Calipari instead of Mike Krzyzewski, but UK lost, so that ended that.

SNL’s Skit Spoofing Toyota “My Bold Dad” Commercial of Father Dropping Off Daughter to Head off With ISIS Was Just Not Funny … “Death to America”

I am all for satirical humor and I love sarcasm, but some things are just not funny, this was one of them. Maybe next SNL could parody Barack Obama and ISIS perfect together, hmm?

This past Saturday night, SNL did a parody skit that was just not funny. In fact it was a bit sickening. SNL parodied and did a spoof of a Toyota Camry commercial, “My Bold Dad,” that depicted a father driving his daughter to the airport so she can leave for the US Army. The ad was shown during the Super Bowl and was quite an emotional one. However, the SNL’s version of a father-daughter duo saying their tearful goodbyes before her ride pulls up, a white pick-up truck with an ISIS sign on the side and a bed and cab full of ISIS terrorists, claiming death to America, just isn’t funny.

Some things just are not funny, the death of a child, beheadings and the recent rash of young and impressionable girls running off to join ISIS. Sorry, its just not humor.

Too many parents go through the painful process of having to bring their children to the airport to fight for their country only to have to pick them up in their child’s return flight back to the United States in a coffin. The skit above is just wrong on multiple levels. I understand that SNL is trying to mock the girls for being so stupid to run off with ISIS like it is a good thing. Trust me haters, I get it. The fact that some will not get it is the problem and the fact that too many of our kids have died to protect the rights of all, even the moronic, in the United States is the issue. Sorry, its just not funny. Death, rape and sex slavery rarely is.

“You be careful, OK?” the father says.

“Dad, it’s just ISIS,” responds Johnson, winking.

The father says through teary eyes, “Take care of her.”

A jihadist responds, equally somber, “Death to America.”

Below is the emotional and incredible Toyota ad, ‘MY BOLD DAD’. It is worth watching again and again.
