Far Left Journalist Glenn Greenwald Says to MSNBC: I Defend Snowden Like You Defend Obama “24 Hours a Day”

When the Far Left attack each other … with the Truth.

Lefty journalist Glenn Greenwald defended himself and his actions when he was asked by MSNBC’s Kristen Welker if he was acting as a spokesman for whistle-blower Edward Snowden. Greenwald’s response was priceless, “We’re on MSNBC now, where close to 24 hours a day the agenda of President Obama and the Democratic Party are promoted, defended, glorified.” OUCH!!! But he did not stop there … Sure, I do defend him just like people on MSNBC defend President Obama and his officials and Democratic Party leaders 24 hours a day.”

Sit back, grab the popcorn and a beverage and watch Lib on Lib duke it out …

From Mediaite:

I think that’s ludicrous is what I say to that,” Greenwald shot back. “Every journalist has an agenda. We’re on MSNBC now, where close to 24 hours a day the agenda of President Obama and the Democratic Party are promoted, defended, glorified, the agenda of the Republican Party is undermined. That doesn’t mean the people who appear on MSNBC aren’t journalists, they are.”

He said that every journalist has a “viewpoint” and he doesn’t hide the fact that he finds Snowden’s decision to expose the NSA’s surveillance programs “heroic.”

“Sure, I do defend him just like people on MSNBC defend President Obama and his officials and Democratic Party leaders 24 hours a day.”

It’s not just me who is laughing that anyone on BSNBC would have the CO-JONES to ask anyone if what they did affects their journalist integrity, the Lonely Conservative is getting a good chuckle herself.

Gallup Poll: 72% Say Big Goverment is Greatest Threat to America Than Big Business or Big Labor … Total Rejection of Obama, Nanny State Liberalism

Looks like America might just know tyranny when they see it …

According to the latest Gallup poll, an astonishing 72% of Americans now say that “BIG” government is the greatest threat to America as compared with big business and big labor. WOW!!!

The PJ Tatler makes an astute observation that has a lot of merit, see the chart below and notice when the noticeable upward trend began in 2009. Hmm, what happened then? Of course this boost in Americans fear of big government has everything to do with the so-called “Hope & Change” that they voted for in electing Barack Obama. It would appear that the folks at Hot Air noticed the remarkable trajectory as well.  He promised transparency and delivered something quite different. What’s the matter America, you have a problem with the IRS enforcing Obamacare? Personally, I think they need to start including the MSM in these polls as well.

America, wake the hell up and make a stand against “BIG GOVERNMENT” liberalism or it will be here to stay. Elections matter, get out and vote against it if you feel strongly against it!!!

An Gallup_Govt Biggest Threat

Seventy-two percent of Americans say big government is a greater threat to the U.S. in the future than is big business or big labor, a record high in the nearly 50-year history of this question. The prior high for big government was 65% in 1999 and 2000. Big government has always topped big business and big labor, including in the initial asking in 1965, but just 35% named it at that time.

The latest update comes from a Dec. 5-8 poll. Gallup has documented a steady increase in concern about big government since 2009, rising from 55% in March 2009 to 64% in November 2011 and 72% today. This suggests that government policies specific to the period, such as the Affordable Care Act — perhaps coupled with recent revelations of government spying tactics by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden — may be factors.

I would also add this upswing has in part to do with a bunch of gutless, establishment RINO’s who think that it is more important to sell ouch their Republican principles and protecting “We the People” as opposed to retain their power.

TIME Magazine Selects Pope Francis as TIME’s Choice for Person of the Year 2013

TIME Magazine’s pick as the 2013 Person of the Year is  … Miley Cyrus Pope Francis.

Forgive me if I am a bit skeptical of Time’s choice for Pope Francis as being their ‘Person of the Year” for 2013, but I am. Not that Pope Francis is not a good man or deserving of this award, but TIME made the choice not because of his religious virtue and certainly not because they believe in Catholicism or the message it spreads. Doesn’t it feel like it was yesterday they were doing stories on the coverups of sexual predator Catholic priests? Let’s face it, the reason why they chose him is because Pope Francis criticized  “modern capitalism” ,in an attack on “the idolatry of money.”

Like I said, Pope Francis is an easy and justifiable choice, it is the reasons why he was picked that are suspect. In any other year Edward Snowden, the NSA whistle-blower would have won this hands down. He exposed the spying ways of the NSA and will continue to do so for months and years to come. Snowden’s exposing of the NSA has even made US lawmakers and foreign leaders question what this spy organization is doing.

However, Snowden finished second to Pope Francis for pretty much one reason and that is Time’s media bias to push Obama’s agenda of “income equity” otherwise known as socialism.

TIME Magazine:

Once there was a boy so meek and modest, he was awarded a Most Humble badge. The next day, It was taken away because he wore it. Here endeth the lesson.

How do you practice humility from the most exalted throne on earth? Rarely has a new player on the world stage captured so much attention so quickly—young and old, faithful and cynical—as has Pope Francis. In his nine months in office, he has placed himself at the very center of the central conversations of our time: about wealth and poverty, fairness and justice, transparency, modernity, globalization, the role of women, the nature of marriage, the temptations of power.

And yet in less than a year, he has done something remarkable: he has not changed the words, but he’s changed the music. Tone and temperament matter in a church built on the substance of symbols—bread and wine, body and blood—so it is a mistake to dismiss any Pope’s symbolic choices as gestures empty of the force of law. He released his first exhortation, an attack on “the idolatry of money,” just as Americans were contemplating the day set aside for gratitude and whether to spend it at the mall.

“Young Invincibles” Turn on Obama in a Major Way … Harvard Poll: Millennial’s 18-29 Year-Olds Says 54% Disapprove of Obama’s Job Performance, 61% Disapproved of his Handling of Healthcare & 57% Disapproved of the Affordable Care Act

 Millennial Buyers Remorse …

OUCH … 18  to 29 year-olds are in revolt against President Barack Obama, how he has handled his job, healthcare and Obamacare itself!!!

Hey Mr. President … the millennial’s just are not that into you anymore now that they know they truth and they have been lied to and used. Couple the healthcare lies with the NSA spying scandals and the youth that so supported Barack Obama in the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections now learn that there is nothing “Hopey-Changey” about Obama. He is the same old, same old lying politicians. Maybe even worse. According to a new Harvard IOP poll, among the 18- 29- year olds currently without health insurance, less than 1/3 say they’re likely to enroll in the exchange. 13% say they will definitely enroll, 16% say they will probably enroll; 41% say they are 50-50 at the moment.

  • 54% Disapprove of Obama’s Job Performance
  • 61% Disapproved of his Handling of Healthcare
  • 57% Disapproved of the Affordable Care Act
  • 44% said they think the quality of their health care will get worse

The  Millennials actually now look more like the rest of the voter electorate.

Poll – Harvard University Institute of Politics

The Hill:

The trend is daunting for the White House but not necessarily surprising,” said Pew Research Center Director Michael Dimock.

“Younger folks are part of Obama’s base … but the rollout confirmed concerns that were already in their minds.”

A poll released Wednesday by Harvard University’s Institute of Politics found that more than half of 18- to 29-year-olds disapprove of ObamaCare and believe it will raise their healthcare costs.

Even more troubling for the administration is that less than one-third of uninsured young people said they plan to enroll in coverage.

Without a large number of young, healthy people in the insurance exchanges, it could create a “death spiral” of high premiums that could threaten the long-term viability of the marketplaces.

The White House appears to recognize the growing threat, and is making outreach to younger people a major focus of its ObamaCare relaunch.

The president began the effort on Wednesday with a youth summit at the White House where he urged audience members to spread the word about the new healthcare exchanges — and think hard about their own health risks.

ATF Tries to Block Whistleblowing Book on Fast and Furious by Special Agent John Dodson Citing It Would Hurt Morale

Obviously the ATF has never heard of the First Amendment to the US Constitution …

The Washington Times is reporting that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is blocking”whistleblower” special agent John Dodson from publishing a book on the ‘Fast & Furious’ government gun walking scandal. The ATF is claiming that the book would hurt moral in the agency. Really, that’s your reason? The First Amendment is being shredded because the ATF is worried about morale? It is more likely that Attorney General Eric Holder and President Barack Obama are more worried about the information that will come out that will be embarrassing to them. With all the scandals plaguing the Obama White House, Obama does not want to have to revisit this not-so “phony” scandal.

ATF

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is blocking the main whistleblower in the Fast and Furious case from publishing a book, claiming his retelling of the Mexico “gun-walking” scandal will hurt morale inside the embattled law enforcement agency, according to documents obtained by The Washington Times.

ATF’s dispute with Special Agent John Dodson is setting up a First Amendment showdown that is poised to bring together liberal groups like the American Civil Liberties Union and conservatives in Congress who have championed Mr. Dodson’s protection as a whistleblower.

The ACLU is slated to become involved in the case Monday, informing ATF it is representing Mr. Dodson and filing a formal protest to the decision to reject his request to publish the already written book, sources told The Times, speaking only on the condition of anonymity.

The Fast & Furious gun walking program during the Obama presidency has lead to the death of border agent Brian Terry and allowed the guns into Mexico where they were responsible for countless number of murders.

UPDATE I: ACLU says ATF blocks whistleblower book on scandal.

The ACLU charged that the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is worried that the book proposed by an ATF agent would hurt relationships with other U.S. law enforcement agencies.

In a six-page letter to ATF Deputy Director Thomas Brandon, the ACLU said the bureau’s decision to block the book proposed by Special Agent John Dodson was a violation of his First Amendment rights. The ACLU described Dodson as a whistle-blower.

According to the letter, the ATF denied Dodson’s request to try to publish a book about his version of the Fast and Furious scandal because the bureau predicted it would have “a negative impact on morale in the Phoenix (Field Division) and would have a detrimental” impact on ATF relationships with the FBI and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
