Less than one week after police officer Darren Wilson was not indicted by a grand jury in the shooting death of Michael Brown, Darren Wilson has officially resigned for the Ferguson, Missouri police department. It had been previously reported that Wilson was in talks with the police department to resign. But, thanks to the efforts of those with an agenda who refused to listen or care about the facts of the shooting, their efforts to persecute officer Wilson and get their pound of flesh forced him out of his job. Too bad the trouble makers and race-baiters and “vultures” could not be forced out of their jobs as well.
Citing threats of violence, Darren Wilson, who fatally shot Michael Brown Aug. 9, resigned from the Ferguson Police Department on Saturday.
Wilson, 28, whom a St. Louis County grand jury declined to indict in connection with the shooting, had worked for the city’s police department for six years.
In a telephone interview Saturday evening, Wilson said he resigned after the police department told him it had received threats that violence would ensue if he remained an employee.
“I’m resigning of my own free will,” he said. “I’m not willing to let someone else get hurt because of me.”
He said resigning was “the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.”
Darren Wilson’s resignation letter reads, in part:
“I have been told that my continued employment may put the residents and police officers of the City of Ferguson at risk, which is a circumstance that I cannot allow. For obvious reasons, I wanted to wait until the grand jury made their decision before I officially made my decision to resign. It was my hope to continue in police work, but the safety of other police officers and the community are of paramount importance to me. It is my hope that my resignation will allow the community to heal.”
As reported at the NY Times, Adolphus Pruitt, of the NAACP’s St. Louis chapter, said the resignation “not only fulfills one of the demands of the protesters, but also provides for one of the steps necessary for the wholesale reconstructions of law enforcement in Ferguson.”

Now on 11/23/14, Hagel has resigned. The former Senator from Nebraska had many missteps and seemed like he was over his head from the outset. But how should that be any different from others in Obama’s inner circle, including Obama himself? However, it was Hagel’s criticism of Obama policy that ultimately led to his demise. Hagel’s comment that ISIS is “like beyond anything we have ever seen” might have been the truth, but as we have seen on so many other occasions with the Obama presidency, there is no place for the truth with this administration.
Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel’s exit from the Obama administration came after weeks of discussion with President Obama over what role he would play in shaping defense policy over the last two years of his term.
The pair ultimately came to the conclusion that another leader would be better equipped to lead the fight against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), senior administration and Defense officials said.
While aides described the departure as a mutual decision based on shifting priorities at the Department of Defense, there are signs that tensions between Hagel and the White House contributed to the personnel change.

He was sort of a non-presence for the first year or so. The irony is that he got tossed in the end and thrown under the bus because he actually sort of spoke up, spoke out and spoke the truth on the fact that the Syrian policy was entirely incoherent. He went against the White House and Susan Rice and the NSC, who were trying to manage his department and manage the Department of Defense over his head. And when he said the truth, he criticized the administration. Obama can tolerate a lot — cluelessness, incompetence, laziness — but not criticism; he had to go.

As we all wait for the the grand jury decision in the shooting death of Michael Brown by police officer Darren Wilson, CNN is reporting that Officer Wilson is in talks to resign. Wilson is supposedly in the final stages of talks to resign. Previously, Ferguson Chief of Police Tom Jackson said that Officer Wilson would be immediately returned back to active duty if he is not indicted. That seems not to be the case. Officer Wilson continues to maintains he has done nothing wrong, and the resignation talks have hinged on whether a grand jury returns an indictment against him in Brown’s death. His reason for leaving his job has more to do with easing pressure and protect his fellow officers. The sad reality is though, a police officer may not only be found not guilty of a crime, he may not even be indicted of one and still pretty much be forced to resign. That is what happens when community agitators come to town.

Wilson maintains he has done nothing wrong, and the resignation talks have hinged on whether a grand jury returns an indictment against him in Brown’s death, the sources said.
While Wilson has told associates he would resign to help ease pressure and protect his fellow officers, he’s expressed concern about resigning while the grand jury was hearing evidence for fear it would appear he was admitting fault.
Wilson could announce as soon as Friday his plans to resign, the same day a St. Louis County grand jury meets to deliberate and possibly decide on an indictment.

“I can be pretty stoic about it, but not really,” she reportedly said. “It’s painful to leave as the agency is reeling from a significant security breach.”
Congress grills Secret Service Director Julia Pierson over lapses in security
Secret Service managers told agents in Atlanta not to file a written report after discovering that a man with a criminal record who had a gun rode in an elevator with President Obama during his visit to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Sept. 16, according to two sources familiar with the case.
The president’s Secret Service protective detail and other agents routinely file written reports if anything suspicious happens during a presidential trip or in the course of protecting any member of the first family at the White House on any given day.
The reports for such incidents follow one of two protocols. Agents can initiative a five-day report, for more serious incidents that need immediate investigation and clarification, or a 14-day report for more minor incidents. Neither type of report was pursued in the Sept. 16 elevator case, according to the two sources.

According to a declassified CIA inspector general’s report as reported by ABC News, CIA officers improperly accessed Senate computers, read the emails of Senate staff, and exhibited a “lack of candor” when interviewed by agency investigators. CIA Director John Brennan apologized to Senate Intelligence Committee leaders for the CIA’s conduct, which was quite a a turnabout for the CIA directors previous comments that the CIA did anything wrong. Yup, no separation of powers scandal here.
The document, released Thursday by the CIA, is a summary of an internal CIA investigation that prompted CIA Director John Brennan to abandon his defiant posture in the matter and apologize to Senate Intelligence Committee leaders.
The inspector general concluded “that some CIA employees acted in a manner inconsistent with the common understanding reached between” the Senate Intelligence Committee and the CIA in 2009 regarding access to a shared classified computer network, Boyd said. The shared network had been used by Senate aides to access classified files on CIA interrogations. The CIA penetration occurred after the aides got a hold of documents that the CIA claimed were internal, but which showed that some CIA officials shared misgivings about the treatment of al Qaida detainees.
Central Intelligence Agency officers snooped on computers used by a Senate committee investigating the CIA’s interrogation program, an internal agency report has concluded—a critical finding in a bitter standoff between two government branches.
CIA Director John Brennan apologized to key senators, who were briefed this week on the CIA inspector general’s report, the agency said on Thursday.
The finding bolsters allegations by Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D., Calif.), the Senate intelligence committee chairwoman, who has denounced what she described as a CIA search of Senate computers that may have violated the Constitution’s separation of powers and Fourth Amendment protections against unreasonable searches.
Sen. Mark Udall (D., Colo.), a member of the intelligence panel, on Thursday called for Mr. Brennan’s resignation after a briefing on the report. “CIA unconstitutionally spied on Congress,” he said. “These offenses, along with other errors in judgment by some at the CIA, demonstrate a tremendous failure of leadership, and there must be consequences.”
The CIA declined to comment on Mr. Udall’s call for Mr. Brennan’s resignation.
Five CIA employees, two attorneys and three information-technology staff members “improperly accessed or caused access” to the special network, according to a declassified summary reviewed by The Wall Street Journal. Those efforts included falsifying identities to get on the Senate network, reading emails and taking screenshots, said an official who read the inspector general’s report.

Two Democratic senators demanded that Central Intelligence Agency Director John Brennan resign on Thursday after revelations that the CIA snooped on Senate computers.
Administration officials briefed the Senate Intelligence Committee’s membership on Thursday afternoon about an inspector general report that revealed CIA officials improperly accessed computers used by Senate staffers to research a 6,700-page report on the agency’s Bush-era interrogation and detention practices.
“At this point it would probably be better for the agency, frankly, if he did step aside. I think that the level of trust between the committee and the director has hit a new low,” Heinrich told reporters. He said he had not spoken to Brennan recently.
“I have full confidence in John Brennan,” Obama said in response to a reporter’s question at the end of an afternoon press conference.
President Obama remains confident in CIA Director John Brennan’s leadership despite an independent investigation that concluded that the agency had overreached its authority by spying on Senate staffers.
White House spokesman Josh Earnest said the findings had not diminished Brennan’s standing in the administration.
When asked whether it damaged his authority or credibility in any way, Earnest said: “Absolutely not.”
Brennan first appointed an outside watchdog to conduct an investigation into the allegations, has “been candid” about the “inconsistencies” that the inspector found, apologized and took the step of appointing a panel to review the need for disciplinary action, he said.

HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius managed to put as much preparation and management into her resignation speech as she did her handling of Obamacare. As Sebelius was reading her heart-felt prepared, written speech a funny thing happened, a page was missing. Good grief. How could any one be such a screw up and so unprepared? Maybe, her speech writers just didn’t have it in them to spew more lies that Obamacare is good for America. It was a fitting send off for Sebelius, to have one more glitch for the road. It was priceless as Sebelius was flanked by Barack Obama and her supposed to be replacement, if Senate approved, OMB Director Sylvia Burwell.
Outgoing Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius officially announced her resignation Friday, but just like the glitches that plagued the federal website for Obamacare – healthcare.gov – which she was responsible for, Sebelius experienced a glitch of her own when the last page of her speech went missing.

This week HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius spoke in Arizona after a stop at an Onamacare call center stating that she will not step down as a result of the disastrous rollout of the Obamacare website, Healthcare.gov. Sebelius said that “the majority of people calling for me to resign I would say are people who I don’t work …”. Really, and I thought she worked for “We the People” of the United States of America? The Obama administration appears to have forgot that concept. Sebelius best watch out, the sound she is haring is Barack Obama firing up the bus.

Filner even went so far as to say the following reprehensible comment that there was “a lynch mob mentality, rumors become allegations, allegations become facts, facts become evidence of sexual harassment which have led to demands of my resignation and recall.” Filner went on to say that he faced “a lynch mob”. Sorry Bob, but you faced your disgusting behavior. And if you claim you did nothing wrong, why are you apologizing and why did you go to rehab? From what it sounds like, this Democrat politician is saying that the multitude of woman who have come forward to say that they were sexual harassed by Filner are lying. Is that you you are saying Bob? The “hands on” San Diego Democratic Mayor Bob Filner, who has been implicated in numerous inappropriate conduct and sexual harassment allegations toward women has announced today that he will enter treatment in August for two weeks instead of resigning. Good Grief! Seriously, after 70 years this creepy politician thinks that a two week therapy program is going to make him a better person? He is going to enter therapy for behavior conduct. Huh, at ate 70 if you d not know how to behave as an individual, you will never know. This is yet another example of a politician consumed by power and who is willing to make any excuse to retain that power. More and more woman are coming forward and this man’s idea is to just enter rehab and call himself better? Just curious, how did that work for Anthony Weiner?
During a press conference on Friday, Filner said that beginning Aug. 5, he will enter a 2-week intensive therapy program.
“Words alone are not enough,” he said. “I am responsible for my conduct and I must take responsibility for my actions.” Filner called his actions “wrong” and “inexcusable” and said he has reached out to apologize to the women he has offended.
Filner said the counseling was just the first step in a continuing program, but insisted he would return to office on Aug. 19. “I must become a better person,” the mayor said, adding he hopes that someday he will be forgiven. “I need to demonstrate my behavior has changed.”
As Democrat Bob Filner tries to cling on to power as the mayor of San Diego, polls says that nearly 70% say the mayor should resign.

Weiner need to pull out of the NYC mayor’s race and go fix himself and his family. This man should never have gotten back into politics when he never did anything to fix his life. If Anthony Weiner has any sense of decency, he will withdraw from the mayor’s race and just go away. However, I will say this … if Weiner stays in the race and is elected, it says more about the folks in NYC than Anthony Weiner.
