Roberts wife, Marie, painted a loving picture of her husband who she said in a statement was a, “kind and loving man.”

Marie’s words are a stark contrast to her husband’s last words, written in a suicide note:

“I don’t know how you put up with me all those years. I am not worthy of you, you are the perfect wife you deserve so much better. We had so many good memories together as well as the tragedy with Elise. It changed my life forever I haven’t been the same since it affected me in a way I never felt possible. I am filled with so much hate, hate toward myself hate towards God and unimaginable emptiness it seems like everytime we do something fun I think about how Elise wasn’t here to share it with us and I go right back to anger.” (CBS3)

There are crimes and then there are crimes. What would possess a 32 year old man to kill harmless school girls? That is the question that everyone is struggling with the day after Charles Carl Roberts gunned down and killed 5 young Amish school girls.

The two latest deaths occurred overnight as a 9 and 7 year old girl passed away from the injuries suffered from their gun shot wounds. These are unthinkable acts and one wonders what Charles Carl Roberts was playing out in his mind over what transpired some 20 years ago.

A 9-year-old girl who had been taken to Christiana Hospital in Delaware died at about 1 a.m. Tuesday, hospital spokesman Spiros Mantzavinos said. A 7-year-old girl died about 4:30 a.m. at Penn State Children’s Hospital in Hershey, hospital spokeswoman Amy Buehler Stranges said.

“Her parents were with her,” Stranges said. “She was taken off life support and she passed away shortly after.” (Breitbart)
