Obama Administration Paid Ransom and Released 5 Top Gitmo Detainees for Army Deserter Bowe Bergdahl

I thought the United States did not pay ransoms to terrorists?

It turns out that the Obama administration did pay money to terrorists in an attempt to get the release of Army deserter Bowe Bergdahl. UNREAL. The Department of Defense did pay a ransom for the release of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl but the transaction’s Afghan middle man ran off with the cash. This goes against previous Pentagon statements in 2009 where they denied doing any such thing. LIARS!!!  The ransom payment also goes against President Obama’s strategy finical strategy in pressuring foreign governments, corporations and families of captives not to pay ransom. What are the odds we will hear Obama say, he just learned about this scandal too? But when that failed, Obama did the next worse thing … released 5 GITMO terrorists for a deserter.

The Department of Defense attempted to pay a ransom for the release of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl but the transaction’s Afghan intermediary ran off with the cash, according to a member of the House Armed Services Committee.

The claims directly contradict statements from the Pentagon, which has vehemently denied that it paid cash to a Taliban splinter group that captured Bergdahl in 2009. The administration in May released five-value Guantanamo Bay detainees in exchange for Bergdahl’s release.

Remember following the release of Bowe Bergdahl, FOX News reported that the Obama administration may have given the Taliban and Haqqani terrorists money as well as the five top Taliban prisoners? Watch the VIDEO below of the Catherine Herridge interview with Greta Van Susteran and On the Record.

VIDEO Hat Tip – The Gateway Pundit

The Washington Times:

The Pentagon is under fire for making a ransom payment to an Afghan earlier this year as part of a failed bid to win the release of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, according to U.S. officials.

Sgt. Bergdahl was released in May after nearly five years in captivity as part of a controversial exchange for five terrorists held at the U.S. military detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

The ransom payment was first disclosed by Rep. Duncan Hunter in a Nov. 5 letter to Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel. Mr. Hunter stated in the letter that Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) made the payment covertly as part of a release deal. But the money was stolen by the Afghan intermediary claiming to represent the Haqqani terrorist network.

“Given the significance of this matter, as well as the fact that Pentagon officials have denied that a payment was even considered — and you also said you were unaware of any such attempt — I ask you to immediately inquire with JSOC to determine the specific order of events,” said Mr. Hunter, California Republican and member of the House Armed Services Committee.

Mr. Hunter also asked Mr. Hagel whether ransom payments are being considered for other captives.

Disclosure of the ransom payment undermines a key financial element of President Obama’s strategy to counter the Islamic State — pressuring foreign governments, corporations and families of captives not to pay ransom. In a speech in September, David S. Cohen, Treasury undersecretary for terrorism and financial intelligence, said the Islamic State made $20 million this year in ransoming hostages.

Vox Populi Polling: Republican Bill Cassidy Leads Democrat Incumbent Senator Mary Landrieu 53% to 42% Ahead of Louisiana US Senate Election

Ahead of the December 6th Louisiana US Senate runoff election, a Vox Populi poll has Republican challenger US Rep. Bill Cassidy leading Democrat incumbent Senator Mary Landrieu, 53% to 42%. This on the foot-heals of Sen. Landrieu’s failure to deliver passage of the XL Keystone pipeline bill in the Senate.  Between Landrieu’s failures and President Barack Obama’s poor approval ratings, it would appear that the GOP will have a net pick up of 9 senate seats for the 2014 midterm elections. Add Obama’s illegal execution order of amnesty to the mix as well.

Cassidy_Landrieu

A new Louisiana survey released by Vox Populi Polling today found that Republican U.S. Senate candidate Bill Cassidy leads Democrat Senator Mary Landrieu 53 to 42 percent, with 5 percent unsure. In addition, Cassidy is up big with Independents, winning with them 58 to 31 percent over Landrieu. Cassidy has seen a big bump after the Nov. 4 open primary. In our recent Oct. 13-14 survey, Cassidy led Landrieu 48 to 44 percent in a head-to-head, with 8 percent unsure.

On the heels of last night’s United States Senate vote on the Keystone XL Pipeline, it is interesting to note that voters aren’t moved by Mary Landrieu’s efforts to bring the legislation before the Senate for a floor vote. When asked if it made voters more likely to vote for the incumbent Democrat, 39 percent said it made them more likely to vote for Bill Cassidy and 32 percent said it made them more likely to vote for Mary Landrieu.

RCP has Cassidy far out ahead of Landrieu by 16 points.

GRUBERGATE:The Liar in Chief President Obama Says Regarding Gruber’s Remarks, “No, We Did Not Mislead to Get Obamacare Passed”

GRUBERGATE … THE GREAT OBAMACARE HOAX, LIES, LIES AND MORE LIES.

Yesterday in Brisbain, Australia Barack Obama finally was asked the question, did you misled the American people with regards to Obamacare. Wouldn’t it have been amazing id he said, YES, you caught me. But, in typical Obama fashion, he denied the allegation and then went off on a tangent explaining away the accusation and never really providing any valid facts to support his denial. All you have done in your six years in office is mislead the American people. President Obama, you have already lied about you can keep your insurance plan and doctor, if you like them … why wouldn’t we think you lied about everything else to pass Obamacare?

Ed Henry – Fox News: At you Burma town hall a couple of days ago you tried to inspire young leaders by saying governments need to be held accountable and be responsive to the people. I wonder how you square that with your former adviser Jonathan Gruber claiming that you were not transparent about the health law, because in his words, ‘the American people, the voters, were stupid’ (VIDEO). Did you mislead Americans about the taxes, about keeping your plan, to get the bill passed?

Barack Obama: No. I did not. I just heard about this. I get well briefed before I come out here. The fact that some adviser, who never worked on our staff expressed an opinion, that I completely disagree with, in terms of the voters, is no reflection of the process that was run. We had a year long debate Ed. Go back and look at your stories. The one thing we cannot say is that we did not have a lengthy about health care in the United States of America. Or that it was not adequately covered. I would just advise every press outlet here to go back and pull up every clip, every story, and I think it is fair to say that there was not a provision in the health care law that was not extensively debated and fully transparent.

First, Obama just heard about this? You mean he can’t remember one of the many meetings with Jonathan Gruber in the White House? Good grief, Obama is using that tired response of he just learned about the issue from the news?  Where have we heard that before, maybe in the following VIDEO.

Second, Just curious, does it make an adviser less credible if he did not work directly on Obama’s staff? There are these people called consultants Barack. Who would actually believe that the architect of Obamacare, also the architect of Romneycare, would actually work directly for the President? This sounds an awful lot like the Cheers episode when Cliff was on Jeopardy answering the final Jeopardy question … “who are three people who have never been in my kitchen.”

Third, read the following quote from Obama, “The fact that some adviser, who never worked on our staff expressed an opinion, that I completely disagree with, in terms of the voters, …” All Obama disagrees with is Gruber’s remark that the American voters are stupid. Obama is not saying that he disagrees with the rest of the misleading comments.

Fourth, Barack Obama claimed that the health care debate was extensive, adequately covered and transparent. Hmm really? So why did Nancy Pelosi famously say, “We Have to Pass Our Bill So That You Can Find Out What Is In It.”

Fifth, President Obama, do you really want everyone going back and taking a look at every clip and news account? Look what happened so far by those on the right and bloggers.

Sixth, fully transparent? The Obamacare you can keep your plan if you like it was already awarded the 2013 Politifact lie of the Year. It would appear you are looking to win the award two years in a row. As Jonathan Gruber said, “Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage.”

Seventh, no asked the question whether Obamacare was extensively debated. However, what good is a debate when the premise is based on a lie that is being discussed?

On a completely different lie, check out the 2:20 mark of the Obama VIDEO where miraculously Obama comes up with all of these stats for the Healthcare.gov web site now that it is not crashing all the time. Remember last year when Obama minions were asked for the same type of data and we were told they did not have access to it.

Yeah Mr. President, Obamacare is working … that is why the majority of Americans have not even been affected by it because you delayed it.

O-BOW-MA Does It Again … Barack Obama Bows to Chinese President Xi JinPing

BARACK O’BOW”MA: WHAT WOULD YOU EXPECT FROM A COMMUNITY AGITATOR …

Once again Barack Obama bows to the Chinese leader, this time it was Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan at the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting in China yesterday. GOOD GRIEF. But of course, it is not the first time the President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama, has bowed to others. Remember this one, and this one, and this one, and this one.  But nothing was quite like his bow, that the WH claims wasn’t.

Obama likes embarrassing the United States.

Daily Show’s Jon Stewart Rips Obama and Democrats in Post 2014 Midterm Election Analysis … ‘Chickensh*t’ Dems, Obama Played Very Cynical Midterm Politics

The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart properly names the Democrats 2014 midterm election strategy … the ‘D*ckless H. Chickensh*t’ gambit.

Ha, Ha, Ha … I don’t agree with Jon Stewart that often, but he pretty much nailed this one. Democrats ran away from issues in red states that they thought were harmful to them and could cost them the elections. In the end they lost those states anyhow.

The Blaze:

The “Daily Show” host went on to posit that the tactic was an intentional one used by the Democrats as a means to protect themselves in the midterm elections.

“Senate Democrats wanted to avoid votes on contentious issues, so they wouldn’t have to take unpopular [stances] that might cost them reelection and they got the president to go along with it,” Stewart said. “It’s a well-known political maneuver known as the ‘chickens**t gambit.’ It’s named, of course, for Senator Dickless H. Chickens**t.”

He concluded by accusing Democrats of adopting a do-nothing strategy and avoiding acting on what voters elected them to do.

Obama Just Doesn’t Care What Americans Think, He is That Out of Touch … President Barack Obama Says That He & Team Obama Did Not Succeed in Effectively Selling His Policies

Barack Obama, the American people just don’t know the good things I have done for them …

In an interview this weekend with Bob Schieffer on CBS’s ‘Face the Nation,’ Barack Hussein Obama said that he took responsibility for the disastrous midterm election loses by Democrats last Tuesday and the “Buck stops with him”. Well kinda, there will be no confusing Obama with Harry S. Truman as a leader taking responsibility for his actions, policies and agenda. As reported at the NY Times Obama said, “that he and his White House team had not succeeded in effectively selling the benefits of his policies to the American people.” HUH? Then the out of touch Obama said, “It’s not enough just to build a better mousetrap, We’ve got to sell it.” WHAT? Barack Obama has yet to lead as president during his previous 6 years, all he has done is campaign and try to sell his snake oil. This fool actually believes his policies are good and the American people are just too stupid to realize their benefits, because he and Team Obama have not properly bull-shitted them. UNREAL. This president actually thinks his policies are good for Americans, even though all the signs show otherwise. As former Florida House Rep. Allen West  said back in 2012, “Barack Obama is serving America a crap sandwich with a smile on his face … But it’s still a crap sandwich.”

Obama_snake oil

Just days after his party was routed in the midterm elections, President Obama said that he and his White House team had not succeeded in effectively selling the benefits of his policies to the American people, calling it a “failure of politics” that he must change in the final two years of his presidency.

“It’s not enough just to build a better mousetrap,” Mr. Obama said in an interview that was taped Friday at the White House and broadcast Sunday on the 60th anniversary of CBS’s “Face the Nation” program. “People don’t automatically come beating to your door. We’ve got to sell it. We’ve got to reach out to the other side and, where possible, persuade.”

Mr. Obama acknowledged bluntly that “we got beat” in the elections on Tuesday and said that the Democratic losses prompted him to have a “gut check” about what he needed to do differently. But as he has in the past, the president defended the merits of his administration’s policies, blaming the election results on a poor communications effort in the White House.

“There are times, there’s no doubt about it, where, you know I think we have not been successful in going out there and letting people know what it is that we’re trying to do and why this is the right direction,” Mr. Obama said.

Discussion of the 2014 midterm “ass-whuppin” begins at 3:52.

CBS – Face the Nation Transcript: [SM editors notes in blue]

BOB SCHIEFFER: I want to get back to foreign policy but I also want to ask you about what happened on Tuesday.

PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: We got beaten.

BOB SCHIEFFER: Yeah. Harry Truman once famously said if you want a friend in Washington, get a dog.  [Where is Bo these days?] And I thought of that when I heard the chief of staff of the Democratic leader of the Senate, Harry Reid say and this is his quote, “The President’s approval rating is basically forty percent. What else more is there to say?” He’s basically saying it was your fault. Do you feel it was your fault?

PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: Well, look, another saying of Harry Truman’s was, the buck stops with me. With me, the buck stops right here at my desk. And so whenever, as the head of the party, it doesn’t do well, I’ve got to take responsibility for it. The message that I took from this election and we’ve seen this in a number of elections, successive elections, is people want to see this city work. [So the message Obama took is that people want to see DC to work, that is why they soundly rejected Democrats, the GOP gained more House seats, won what will be a net 9 US Senate seats in gaining control and governorships in states like Mass, Illinois and Delaware? So in order for Washington to work the people said we want GOP control and policies.]  And they feel as if it’s not working. The economy has improved significantly. [Really the economy has improved? A record number of Americans are on food stamps, the job participation rate is at an all-time low and Americans who had lost their well-paying full time jobs have replaced them with part time and ones paying much, much less. Sorry Barack, Americans know the economy is not better.]  There’s no doubt about it. We had a jobs report for October that showed that once again over two hundred thousand jobs created. [Tell some one now making $15 an hour when they previously made $30 that their new job is fantastic].  We’ve now created more than ten million. The unemployment rate has come down faster than we could have anticipated. Just to give you some perspective, Bob, we’ve created more jobs in the United States than every other advanced economy combined since I came into office. And so we’re making progress but people still feel like their wages haven’t gone up, their incomes haven’t gone up, still hard to save for retirement, still hard to send a kid to college. And then they see Washington gridlocked and they’re frustrated. And, you know, they know one person in Washington and that’s the President of the United States. So I’ve got to make this city work better for them. [No, you and your socialist policies need to get out of the way for the US economy to flourish.]

BOB SCHIEFFER: But is it what you thought it would be?

PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: You know, here– here is one thing that I will say that campaigning and governance are two different things. I’ve ran two successful campaigns. [No, you rode to victory in 2008 on the myth that you were a different kind of politician and were aided by an all too willing MSM that refused to vet you. Then in 2012, you stole the election visa-vie the IRS attacking conservative non-profit groups. Then there are the numeous scandals like Benghazi-gate where the Obama administration purposely lied to the American people as to what happened prior to the 2012 presidential election].  And anybody who has seen me on the campaign trail can tell how much I love just being with the American people. And hearing what they care about and what– you know how passionate I am about trying to help them. When you start governing, there is a tendency sometimes for me to start thinking. As long as I get the policy right then that’s what should matter. And, you know, people have asked, you know, what you need to do differently going forward and I think you do that, you got to check after every election.

BOB SCHIEFFER: What do you need to do differently?

PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: And I think that one thing that I do need to constantly remind myself and my team are is it’s not enough just to build the better mousetrap. [What a fitting term, mousetraps kill things.] People don’t automatically come beating to your door. We’ve got to sell it, we’ve got to reach out to the other side and where possible persuade. And I think there are times, there’s no doubt about it where, you know, I think we have not been successful in going out there and letting people know what it is that we are trying to do and why this is the right direction. So there– there is a failure of politics there that we have got– we got to improve on. [How long have they had to sell Obamacare, the Obama economy and his agenda? What do they need, another 20 years? They people do not need to be sold anything, they experience it every day.]

BOB SCHIEFFER: What criticisms of your administration do you think are valid?

PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: Well, I just mentioned one. I think that what is also true is that, you know, no matter how frustrating it can sometimes be for any President to deal with an opposition that has, yeah, pretty stubborn, and where there are really strong differences, you just got to keep on trying. [Code for, I just following the teachings of Saul Alinsky and double down on my failed, hated policies].

The folks at ‘This is Spinal Tap’ weigh in on the Obama presidency … The review on Shark sandwich is pretty much the same as the one for the Obama agenda, and yes, they can say that.

White House Reporters In Disbelief At Josh Earnest’s Spin On 2014 Midterm GOP Landslide Election Results

Actually White House spokesman Josh Earnest, you are paid to president Obama’s WH views on the 2014 midterm election results.

It would appear that the White House reporters have finally awoke after 6 years of Obama spin. Yesterday, the reporters sat in disbelief, gasped and laughed at the comments spewed from Josh Earnest’s mouth when it came to answer questions regarding Tuesday’s midterm election “wall to wall shellacking” and the a real “ass-whuppin” that Democrats suffered.

It is pathetic that they just can’t answer a simple question, how could they not be prepared to answer such a question? At least he said that he and Obama were disappointed with the outcome of the election. Ya think?

Transcript from The Gateway Pundit:

Reporter: Would you say Tuesday night was a big loss for Democrats?

Josh Earnest: Well, uh, again. In terms of the likes of punditry and analysis…

Reporters: (Gasps) It’s not punditry. It’s a real question… Cuz you guys spin it. I understand why you’re spinning it.

Earnest: There’s lots of people who get paid a lot more money than I do who are responsible for offering up analysis and spinning elections and I’m not going to do that…

Reporter: So you’re saying this is good for Democrats?

Earnest: No, that’s not what I’m saying. (Audience laughs)

Reporter: So you can say it’s good for Republicans but you can’t say it’s good or bad for Democrats?

Earnest: It is. It is. I’m certainly disappointed with the results of the election.

Barack Obama Wrote a Secret Letter to Iran’s Khamenei About Fighting Islamic State, ISIS

ARE YOU KIDDING ME … JUST HOW DANGEROUS IS BARACK OBAMA FOR AMERICA?

And you wonder why the Democrats got a real “ass-whuppin” on November 4 in the 2014 midterm elections. As reported in the NRO, President Barack Hussein Obama penned  a “secret” letter to Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, in an effort according to sources, to fight the Islamic State (ISIS) and to nudge Iran’s religious leader closer to a nuclear deal. Yes, the same Islamic, Jew hating leader who has called for the death of Israel. WOW. What the hell is this president thinking? As The Daily Caller opines, “the President of the United States has had a tough week. First he watched the voters thoroughly repudiate him. Now the news is out that he’s been begging and pleading for help from the Supreme Leader of Iran, who has no time for him either.

Obama_Iran Ayatollah Khamenei

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, Barack Hussein Obama – Bosom Buddies

November 24, the deadline for a nuclear deal with Iran, approaches, and things aren’t looking good. With less than three weeks left, Iran is adopting a hardline negotiating position. And although there’s time left to reach a good deal, President Obama’s current strategy is problematic.

Yesterday the Wall Street Journal reported that last month Obama wrote his fourth “secret” letter to Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei. According to sources, he did so in an effort “aimed both at buttressing the Islamic State campaign and nudging Iran’s religious leader closer to a nuclear deal.”

No problem, right? After all, what harm can a letter do? Actually, a lot. The Journal quotes a senior White House official who provides context for Obama’s outreach: “We’ve passed on messages to the Iranians … saying our objective is against ISIL. We’re not using this as a platform to reoccupy Iraq or to undermine Iran.”

Saying this to Iran is the diplomatic equivalent of telling an ill-reputed used-car salesman, “Money is no object, I don’t need a test drive, and I’m desperate to buy today.” It’s not very clever.

Iran’s hardliners are likely to see the president’s latest letter as a verification of increasing American malleability. But there’s a deeper issue here. As I noted in September, the administration’s willingness to see the best in Iran without challenging the worst manages to inspire only the latter. While we offer friendship, from Beirut to Baghdad, from Sanaa to Washington, Iran forges power through violent opportunism. Members of the Lebanese and Iraqi parliaments recognize Iran’s proclamations of peace for what they are: a thin veil concealing an absolutist agenda. Not incidentally, many American military personnel, through personal experience, share the same skeptical view

UPDATE I: Obama’s Letter to Iran Rattles Congressional Nerves.

House Speaker John Boehner (R., Ohio) expressed concern Thursday when asked about President Barack Obama recent overture to Iran, in which the president outlined a shared interest in countering Islamic State militants in the region.

“I don’t trust the Iranians, I don’t think we need to bring them into this,” Mr. Boehner said.

Lawmakers — especially Republicans, but also many Democrats  — want to have a say in any agreement that comes out of international nuclear talks by a Nov. 24 deadline. Secret communications between the administration and Tehran are likely to raise eyebrows.

UPDATE II: Mitt Romney Calls President Obama letter to Iran leader an “astonishing” and “an enormous error.”

Mitt Romney slammed President Barack Obama on Friday for reaching out to Iran in the fight against Islamic State militants, calling the president’s recent letter to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei “astonishing” and “an enormous error.”

“I was frankly stunned that the president of the United States would write a letter of that nature and in effect, legitimize a nation and a leadership which is violating international norms and is threatening the world,” the 2012 Republican presidential candidate told the audience of the Israeli American Council’s inaugural national conference at the Washington Hilton.

2016 cannot come soon enough, this president is just too damn dangerous for America.

GOP House Speaker John Boehner Warns Barack Obama on Go-It-Alone Ammnesty Immigration Change … “When You Play With matches, You Take the Risk of Buring Yourself”

On the eve of Republican leaders meeting with Barack Obama on Friday, both sides have participated in verbal jousting following the landslide victories for the GOP during the November 4th midterm elections.

What is this nonsense about the GOP and Obama coming together and finding common ground? You have had 6 years to find common ground and vote appropriately. The American people spoke this past Tuesday and they 100% completely repudiated the Obama and Democrat agenda. Why on Earth would you think “We the People” handed control of the Senate to Republicans and increased the number of Republicans in the already GOP controlled House?  It certainly was not to capitulate to Obama’s radical agenda.

When Obama speaks today about what he wants Speaker Boehner, you might want to remind him that … ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES”.

Republican House Speaker John Boehner warned Barack Obama ahead of their meeting to not act unilaterally and go-it-alone on amnesty. He stated, if you play with matches, you will get burned”.  Oh great, you mean Boehner wants to have GOP buy in on amnesty? I would like to remind Speaker Boehner and Republicans the same, your base will trash you and throw all of you out if you go ahead on amnesty. Also, nothing should be done until the new House and Senate members are in place. You are a lame duck Congress and nothing of any great significance need to be passed. You had your opportunity.

NRO:

“I’ve made clear to the president that if he acts unilaterally on his own, outside of authority, he will poison the well,” Boehner said in a Thursday press conference. “And there will be no chance for immigration reform moving in this Congress. It’s as simple as that.”

The speaker trotted out the same warning when pressed on whether executive action would be a “catalyst” for congressional action on immigration, as the White House has suggested. “When you play with matches, you take the risk of burning yourself,” he cautioned. “And [President Obama] is going to burn himself if he continues to go down this path.”

Barack Obama is Trumanesque … Obama Loses More House of Representative Seats Than Any President Since Harry Truman

Many have tried to say that Obama was Lincolnesque and Reaganesque, wrong … but he does appear to be Trumanesque!

Never has a narcissist and a bunch of mind numb, Kool-aid drinking robots ever been so wrong.

BARACK OBAMA SETS ANOTHER RECORD: In 2008 Barack Obama was touted as “the one we had been waiting for”. Obama was supposed to be the president that transcended all and was the bridge to the future. WRONG!!! It turned out that Barack Obama has been the most polarizing president and probably the worst US president in modern times. Obama has not just been bad for America, he has been disastrous for his Democrat party. During this past 2014 midterm election Barack Obama lost another 16 House seats. Back in 2010, Barack Obama lost 63 House seats. Form the mathematically, common core challenged, that is a total of 79 House seats. That is the most House seats lost for any president since Harry S. Truman. With House districts being so gerrymandered these days, that is an incredible number of lost seats.

Obama_Truman

Not since Harry S. Truman in 1950 has a sitting president lost more House seats in two midterm elections

ROLL CALL:

President Barack Obama is about to do what no president has done in the past 50 years: Have two horrible, terrible, awful midterm elections in a row.

In fact, Obama is likely to have the worst midterm numbers of any two-term president going back to Democrat Harry S. Truman.

Truman lost a total of 83 House seats during his two midterms (55 seats in 1946 and 28 seats in 1950), while Republican Dwight Eisenhower lost a combined 66 House seats in the 1954 and 1958 midterms.

Obama had one midterm where his party lost 63 House seats, and Democrats are expected to lose another 5 to possibly 12 House seats (or more), taking the sitting president’s total midterm House loses to the 68 seat to 75 seat range.
