Massachusetts Republican Senate candidate Gabriel Gomez called opponent Rep. Ed Markey (D-MA) “pond scum” during a recent interview. Gomez did so in a response to a question regarding a dirty and disgusting ad where his opponent Ed Markey compared Gomez, a former Navy SEAL, to Osama bin Laden in an internet video that placed their images side-by-side. As Gomez stated during his interview, maybe Markey does doe realize that it was Navy Seals who actually killed Bin Laden? The internet video is truly reprehensible. For Markey to put out his first video comparing Gomez to Bin Laden, because Gomez was critical of President Obama because they released so much classified information on the Navy Seals regarding the raid that killed Bin Laden that puts the troops in harms way.

“I don’t think there’s anything more offensive,” Gomez said. “You know I’ve got four young kids,
and they gotta sit there and gotta see an ad with their dad — who served honorably,
talk to anybody I served with — whether as a pilot or as a SEAL, anybody I worked with.
And for him to be as dirty and low, pond scum, like to put me up next to bin Laden,
he’s just gotta be called what he is. It’s that simple.”

Gomez  went on to say, Congressman Markey has been around for 40 years, he know what he is doing. Hmm, I thought we honored Navy Seals who defend America’s freedoms and liberties. Guess not when it comes to Massachusetts liberal Ed Markey. Is this what we need in the US Senate? Funny how Barack Obama used the death of Bin Laden and the heroic efforts of our US Navy Seals for his political advantage and his photo-op of Obama in the “Situation Room” yet Obama was no where to be found when the Benghazi Consulate was being attacked by terrorists, Ambassador Stevens was missing and they were begging for help.

Senator Max Baucus (D-MT) on IRS Scandal: “My Hunch is There us A Lot More Is Going to Come Out”

Senator Max Baucus (D-MT) stated on Bloomberg Government’s “Capitol Gains” TV show, “I have a hunch that a lot more is going to come out.”

Funny how when one announces their retirement that they suddenly speak the truth and tend to forget what they did in the past as a partisan politician. Baucus, who is now calling for Congressional hearings into the IRS scandals of targeting Tea Party and other Conservative groups was one of the very Senators who in the past was calling for them to be targeted. As the Gateway Pundit reminds us, Senator Baucus specifically called on the IRS to engage in the very conduct back in 2010 he is now distancing himself from. The rats are jumping off the ship. Just what does Max Baucus know?

Senior Democratic Sen. Max Baucus, who recently slapped Obamacare as a “train wreck,” believes that the IRS scandal is just beginning and that “a lot more” damaging information will be revealed, likely at congressional hearings.

“I have a hunch that a lot more is going to come out, frankly,” Baucus, whose pending retirement seems to have freed him up to speak bluntly, told Bloomberg Government’s “Capitol Gains” TV show.

“It’s broader than the current focus. And I think it’s important that we have the hearings, and I think that will encourage other information to come out that has not yet come out. I suspect that we will learn more in the next several days, maybe the next couple three weeks which adds more context to all of this,” added Baucus, chairman of the Senate Finance Committee.

IRS Also Targeted Conservative Hispanic Groups … But I Guess this Was Not Politically Motivated

The IRS also unjustly targeted Hispanic Conservative groups as well as reported at Fox News Latino.  I’ll give this to the IRS, they certainly left no Conservative group unscathed with their corrupt and over-reaching Gestapo tactics leading up to the 2012 presidential election. They targeted Tea Party groups, Hispanic or otherwise, Tea party Patriots and any one who was thought to be a conservative who would oppose the current occupant of the White House.. This, while they fast-tracked liberal ones. But we are supposed to believe it was just a mistake and not premeditated, willful targeting of one segment of the population who opposed to current resident of the White House. Let me just say, No way Jose or better yet, mierda de Bull.

The Internal Revenue Service scandal involving the apparently unjustified targeting of Tea Party and other conservative groups has also hit home with the Hispanic community.

George Rodriguez, former president of the San Antonio Tea Party, said that when the organization applied for non-profit status, leaders were intimidated by IRS workers with excessive paperwork and meddling questions.

“They asked us all sorts of things that were out of the norm,” Rodriguez, now head of the conservative South Texas Alliance, told Fox News Latino. “We knew these questions were not the norm and we had our suspicions about them.”

Rodriguez said the group received a questionnaire from the IRS with “well over 50 questions,” including inquiries into who the group met with, where they held their meetings, who was in attendance and what the subject of their internal emails were.

“They should have been worried about the numbers, not who we were meeting with,” he added. “It was flat-out dirty politics.”

IRS SCANDAL: From the Weekly Standard, the IRS knew the scandal and Conservative, political witch hunt that was going on in their department and deliberately chose not to tell Congress. Not one person in the IRS came forward as a whistle-blower and had the integrity and ethics to tell anyone what was going on. NBC’s Lisa Myers reported this morning that the IRS  deliberately chose not to reveal that it had wrongly targeted conservative groups until after the 2012 presidential election. Imagine if this information came out during the 2012 Presidential election, the results might have looked very different. So in order to find the guilty, follow the money, or in this case the power, and who had the most to lose or gain. Sorry, but that goes straight to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and Barack Obama.

So is as the Politico asks, has DC turned on Obama? I am not sure if I buy some of the Politico premise that the “establishment” Democrats and the MSM did not like Obama. The MSM has carried the water for this president and had they done their job, as they are being forced to now, Barack Obama may never have been elected in 2008 and definitely not in 2012. But suddenly Obama seems to have amnesia and has become Sgt. Schultz as he “knows nothing” of any of the scandals.

The town is turning on President Obama — and this is very bad news for this White House.

Republicans have waited five years for the moment to put the screws to Obama — and they have one-third of all congressional committees on the case now. Establishment Democrats, never big fans of this president to begin with, are starting to speak out. And reporters are tripping over themselves to condemn lies, bullying and shadiness in the Obama administration.

Buy-in from all three D.C. stakeholders is an essential ingredient for a good old-fashioned Washington pile-on — so get ready for bad stories and public scolding to pile up.

Vernon Jordan, a close adviser to President Bill Clinton through his darkest days, told us: “It’s never all right if you’re the president. There is no smooth sailing. So now he has the turbulence, and this is the ultimate test of his leadership.” Jordan says Obama needs to do something dramatic on the IRS, and quick: “He needs to fire somebody. He needs action, not conversation.”

Obama’s aloof mien and holier-than-thou rhetoric have left him with little reservoir of good will, even among Democrats. And the press, after years of being accused of being soft on Obama while being berated by West Wing aides on matters big and small, now has every incentive to be as ruthless as can be.

With Democrats and the MSM turning on Obama it should make for a good reality TV … ‘When Libs attack One Another.’ Gone is defending Obama and his agenda at all cost as it might just cost Democrat House and Senate politicians their political career. The 2014 and 2016 elections are not that far off and self-preservation is the name of the game in DC. To make matters worse for Democrats, the front-runner Hillary Clinton does not have clean hands either.

MORE CHICAGO-STYLE POLITICS … From the AP comes the following, the Obama administration’s Justice Department secretly obtained phone records of the Associated Press for two month. The Justice Department seized the records for more than 20 separate telephone lines assigned to AP and its journalists from its offices in New York, Washington, DC and Hartford, Connecticut in April and May of 2012. Hmm, right in the midst of a presidential election. The AP is calling it a ”massive and unprecedented intrusion” into how news organizations gather the news. Once again the Obama administration is sounding a bit “Nixonian”. The MSM has been a lapdog for Barack Obama in the not covering and holding this president’s feet to the fire, now the shoe is on the other foot and they are being abused by this paranoid White House. The Justice Department has a lot of explaining to do as to why this is not to be interpreted as government intimidation. Which is beginning to become a daily patters of Obama administration scandals.  First we hear that the IRS is operating against Conservatives and political enemies of Obama and now the Justice Department is secretly tapping the AP, all during the run up and during a presidential election. The Justice Department secretly obtained two months of telephone records of reporters and editors for The Associated Press in what the news cooperative’s top executive called a “massive and unprecedented intrusion” into how news organizations gather the news.

The records obtained by the Justice Department listed outgoing calls for the work and personal phone numbers of individual reporters, for general AP office numbers in New York, Washington and Hartford, Conn., and for the main number for the AP in the House of Representatives press gallery, according to attorneys for the AP. It was not clear if the records also included incoming calls or the duration of the calls.

In all, the government seized the records for more than 20 separate telephone lines assigned to AP and its journalists in April and May of 2012. The exact number of journalists who used the phone lines during that period is unknown, but more than 100 journalists work in the offices where phone records were targeted, on a wide array of stories about government and other matters.

In a phrase, It’s an Obama world, and now the MSM knows what it feels like to be a Conservative in America and on the Obama enemies list. The AP and other media outlets are livid as they called the Justice Department’s seizing of AP phone records over a two month period “chilling” and a “dragnet to intimidate the media.” Gary Pruitt, the president and CEO of the AP sent a scathing letter in response to the revelations. Calling it a “massive and unprecedented intrusion” that is “a serious interference with AP’s constitutional rights.”

“There can be no possible justification for such an overbroad collection of the telephone communications of The Associated Press and its reporters. These records potentially reveal communications with confidential sources across all of the newsgathering activities undertaken by the AP during a two-month period, provide a road map to AP’s newsgathering operations, and disclose information about AP’s activities and operations that the government has no conceivable right to know,” Pruitt said.

Journalists and the MSM were already starting to turn on the Obama administration and now they learn about this intrusion into “Freedom of the Press” as the Politico pens, Journalists fume over DOJ raid on AP. If Obama loses the very people who have been complicit in not informing the American people as to the complete failure of this president, he will be destroyed. Sorry, but there is no way that Attorney General Eric Holder did not have to sign off on this for approval.

What is stunning is the breadth of the seizure!” Van Susteren said. “If you read the AP President’s letter to DOJ, and if his letter is accurate, the seizure was very broad: 2 months of telephone records involving many who work at AP! 20 phone lines, home and cell? NY, DC, Connecticut employees? That doesn’t sound like a criminal investigation, that sounds like a dragnet to intimidate the media. The US Attorney’s issued statement about the secret seizure was blah, blah, blah. It doesn’t say anything. The DOJ better be following the law and the Constitution.”

IRS Targeted Conservative Groups, Tea Party, Patriots & Non-Profit Groups that Criticized the Obama Government and Sought to Educate Americans About the U.S. Constitution

How bad is the recent revelations that the IRS purposely and willfully targeted Conservative groups like the Tea Party and organizations with “tae party” or “patriot” in their name? Even the not so-conservative Washington Post is coming out swinging against the Internal Revenue Service and the Obama Administration. The IRS tried to preempt the damning news on Friday that the they were targeting conservative groups, in an effort to get ahead of the story that was going to be much, much worse. Thus, the so-called IRS apology that they had been doing this since 2012 was pretty much BS as it was only the tip of the iceberg. We then found out that high ranking IRS officials knew since 2011.  We are now finding out that the IRS targeted Conservative non-profits that dared used their First Amendment rights if an organization criticize the Obama government or dared sought to educate Americans on the United States Constitution. HUH? This is still America, isn’t it? Sorry, but even the liberals have an issue with this as it looks extremely “Nixonian”.

At various points over the past two years, Internal Revenue Service officials singled out for scrutiny not only groups with “tea party” or “patriot” in their names but also nonprofit groups that criticized the government and sought to educate Americans about the U.S. Constitution, according to documents in an audit conducted by the agency’s inspector general.

The documents, obtained by The Washington Post from a congressional aide with knowledge of the findings, show that the IRS field office in charge of evaluating applications for tax-exempt status decided to focus on groups making statements that “criticize how the country is being run” and those that were involved in educating Americans “on the Constitution and Bill of Rights.”

AMERICA … THE IRS WAS TARGETING THOSE THAT WOULD DARE EDUCATE OTHERS ON THE US CONSTITUTION!!! WHAT THE HELL HAS THIS COUNTRY BECOME UNDER PRESIDENT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA? HOW’S THAT FOR SOME HOPE AND CHANGE.

The IRS tried to preempt this PR nightmare with a half-hearted apology and stated, do not worry though, even though we only targeted Conservative organizations like the Tea Party, it was not motivated by politics or political bias. How can anyone say this with a straight face? The single most feared government agency acting like the “Gestapo” to intimidate those that are against the current administration and we are supposed to believe that it was not political. Really? Just curious, how many non-profits with “progressive” were targeted? Ah, nearly none.

Folks on the LEFT and the RIGHT are concerned over this situation with the IRS. As Susan Collins, the Republican Senator from Maine stated on CNN over the weekend, “This is truly outrageous. And it contributes to the profound distrust that the American people have in government.” She also stated, ”And I think that it’s very disappointing that the president hasn’t personally condemned this and spoken out.” Michigan Rep. Mike Rogers told “Fox News Sunday.” “I don’t care if you’re a conservative, a liberal, a Democrat or a Republican, this should send a chill up your spine. It needs to have a full investigation.”

Just how bad is it when the WAPO says, You Betcha the IRS should be investigated?

It’s just a coincidence that all this started just after the 2010 midterm elections when the Tea Party became a major player and inflicted a “shellacking” on the Democrat party and Barack Obama. It was the Obama administration who as even MSNBC and CNN are reporting edited the talking points for political purposes during a reelection campaign. MSNBC is even going as far as discussing impeachment as a result of the Obama administrations actions. This administration lied and scrubbed the Benghazi talking points to get reelected and they have the gall to say others politicized Benghazi? Families, friend and Americans want answers to what happened and the Obama administration continues to misrepresent the truth.

CNN’s Gloria Borger Acknowldges Benghazi Talking Points “Were Edited to the Point of Inaccuracy” … Chris Cuomo: “Safe to Say this Goes Beyond Partisan Picking”

Add another Left-leaning main stream media outlet to those that are questioning the Barack Obama administration and the edited Benghazi terror attack talking points.

First MSNBC and now CNN is coming out against the Obama administration for editing the Benghazi talking points, in the aftermath of the terror attack that left four Americans dead, to the point where the events that took place were untrue. In a CNN interview between Chris Cuomo and  Chief political analyst Gloria Borger, neither had anything good to say about the 12 edited versions of the Benghazi talking points using such words as “cover-up” and “whitewash”. Gloria Borger said, the Obama Administration’s Benghazi talking points were “edited to the point of inaccuracy” and the question is “was it a cover-up or whitewash”. She would later say that the talking points were so edited that by the end, they did not even resemble the truth. The most amazing comment may have come from Chris Cuomo when he stated, “it’s safe  to say that this goes beyond partisan picking.” Did the LEFT just hear that? One of your own is saying that the GOP is not acting in a partisan manner. CNN is basically saying that the Obama administration played partisan politics for his reelection bid when four Americans died. Are you kidding, Ambassador Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty and Tyrone S. Woods were killed by terrorist and the Obama WH edited what occurred to the point it was a false narrative. We lost lives and needed to know what happened and Team Obama was more interested in talking points that fit his reelection. Cuomo called it unforgivable.

Maybe former Arkansas Governor Mike Hukabee was correct when he said during his radio show, President Obama “will not fill out his full term” because he was complicit in a “cover-up” surrounding the attack that killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans in Benghazi, Libya.

GLORIA BORGER: What we see in this process is that these talking points were edited to the point of inaccuracy. The question is, is it a cover-up? Is it a whitewash? We don’t know the answer to that.

CHRIS CUOMO: I know. And you took my question. That’s exactly what I was going to ask you. Right? Because that’s what this gets to, 12. What’s the context? It sounds like a lot, but we have to know the nature and purpose of what those changes were.

GLORIA BORGER: So here’s the context. Over at the CIA they’re looking at some of these points, which include mention of Al Qaeda. And there’s a sense from some at the CIA, you know what, we don’t want to tip anybody that we’re investigating Al Qaeda on this, so let’s take out some of the references to Al Qaeda. What the CIA left in, apparently, was this sort of broader context of Al Qaeda in Benghazi in that part of the world. Those were eventually edited out. And there is an e-mail obtained by ABC news from someone at the State Department which asks, why should we leave that in because “it could be abused by members of Congress to beat up the State Department for not paying attention to warnings.” So clearly from a State Department official asking the question, why are we going to give members of Congress information, don’t forget in an election year, which they could turn around and beat us up with. And that’s how you see in evolving. Everybody’s got a different reason for editing it. And they edit it down to something that’s totally, turns out to be in fact untrue.

You know its bad for Barack Obama when the LIBS at MSNBS MSLSD MSNBC start bringing up “Impeachment” as a result of their Benghazi cover-up and Benghazigate.

Even the LEFT is at a loss for words and defense when it comes to the way the Obama White House has handled Benghazi before, during and after the Benghazi consulate attacks. The news that Benghazi talking points had been edited 12 times and scrubbed of all references of terrorism have left the LEFT in a quandary.  Just when you thought you had seen it all, even the ultra-liberal MSNBC folks appear to be using the “I” word when it comes to President Barack Obama and “impeachment” over the White House’s handling of the aftermath of the Benghazi terror attacks that left four Americans dead, including US Ambassador Chris Stevens. Playing politics games to win the 2012 presidential election, could come back to bite Obama. MSNBC, that has made a living off of defending, deflecting and just not covering Barack Obama’s disastrous presidency, both foreign and domestic, has now been forced to question the Obama presidency and even use such descriptive words as impeachment and compare his handling of Benghazi to ‘Watergate”. As Maggie’s Farm states, this is beginning to look much worse than “Watergate”. In fact, it is. No US ambassadors died during Watergate. Actually, no one died during Watergate, only political careers.

Unlike Watergate, an unremarkable political dirty trick with a dumb and unnecessary White House cover-up (if a handful of people had been fired it would have been a big nothing), in this case American public servants died seemingly because of State Dept and possibly White House incompetence or indifference, and both may have been complicit in an attempted cover-up a few weeks before a national election. Possibly the CIA too. People have been intimidated about speaking out, but maybe no longer.

It is not joust Barack Obama who is in trouble, but so is former Secretary of State and 2016 Democrat presidential nominee wannbe Hillary Clinton. She comes across looking terrible, possibly even worse than Obama. As Washington Post reporter Nia-Malika Henderson said, “I think, for Clinton, it looks Clintonian.” Yes she does. Hillary looks like all the worst parts of the Bill Clinton years, something that will not be lost by the GOP or Democrat primary challengers in 2016. The politicization of talking points when four Americans died is beyond disgustingly sick. Before, during and after, Clinton’s State Department failed miserably and looked to cover up … is that what the US needs as a president in 2016?

“This is quite the window into what is usually the hush-hush process about how to deal with these types of attacks and the spin that irrevocably comes afterwards,” NBC reporter Luke Russert opined.

“This is not good for the White House right now,” Russert said to BuzzFeed editor Ben Smith. “Does it stick?”

“Well, sure,” Smith replied. “They look terrible.”

Smith said that the emails indicate that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton may have been directly involved in the process of “scrubbing” references to Islamic terrorism from her department’s talking points.

“Does this become then an election politics thing?” Russert asked. He said that the Republican Party has been trying to link Clinton to the Benghazi scandal for some time.

The Daily Beast columnist Michael Tomasky said it does. He invoked “that word that starts with ‘I’” to describe the potentially significant political fallout that could result from the Benghazi scandal.

“It becomes a potentially impeachment issue as long as the Republicans are in control of the House,” Tomasky added.

“I think, for Clinton, it looks Clintonian,” submitted Washington Post reporter Nia-Malika Henderson. “It also, I think, reminds us that there is only one person that the far right-wing hates more than Obama, and that’s Hillary Clinton.”
