Unbelievable, One More Glitch for the Road: Even Kathleen Sebelius’ Resignation Speech as HHS Secretary is Botched … “Unfortunately, a Page is Missing”

YOU JUST CAN’T MAKE THIS STUFF UP …

HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius managed to put as much preparation and management into her resignation speech as she did her handling of Obamacare. As Sebelius was reading her heart-felt prepared, written speech a funny thing happened, a page was missing. Good grief. How could any one be such a screw up and so unprepared? Maybe, her speech writers just didn’t have it in them to spew more lies that Obamacare is good for America. It was a fitting send off for Sebelius, to have one more glitch for the road. It was priceless as Sebelius was flanked by Barack Obama and her supposed to be replacement, if Senate approved, OMB Director Sylvia Burwell.

Outgoing Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius officially announced her resignation Friday, but just like the glitches that plagued the federal website for Obamacare – healthcare.gov – which she was responsible for, Sebelius experienced a glitch of her own when the last page of her speech went missing.

Photo of the day … One more glitch from Kathleen Sebelius as Obama looks on and can be seen to nudge her to go on and don’t make me look like more of an idiot.

HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius OUT, Sebelius To Resign … Obamacare and Democrats Gets Their Fall Girl for 2014 Elections

This comes about 5 years too late …

USA Today is reporting that HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius will resign today. Sebelius, who oversaw Obamacare and its disastrous rollout, is out as she has handed in her papers. I think we all knew the handwriting was on the wall for her ousting when Obama had the nerve to declare victory for the Obamacare enrollment and never once thanked Sebelius, who was in the audience. Of course the Rose Garden ‘Mission Accomplished’ pep rally was done on April Fool’s Day, you can draw your own conclusions. Hmm, but I thought it was only the people that she did not work for who were asking her to resign? After months of denials that should would resign, she has. The announcement is to be made at 11 am on Friday. Office of Management and Budget Director Sylvia Mathews Burwell to expected to be nominated by Barack Obama to replace Sebelius.

After a difficult five years shepherding President Obama’s signature health care law, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius has tendered her resignation, according to two senior administration officials.

Obama accepted the resignation this week and intends to announce that he will nominate Office of Management and Budget Director Sylvia Mathews Burwell to replace Sebelius.

He will make the formal announcement at 11 a.m. Friday at the White House, according to officials, who asked not to be identified so as not to pre-empt the president.

The purge begins to try and save Democrats for the 2014 midterm elections. The NY Times reports, Sebelius Resigns After Troubles Over Health Site. I guess Barack Obama and Democrats think that the American people will just forget the damage Sebelius, Obama and fellow Democrats has done to healthcare and just move on. Out of sight, out of mind.

The departure comes as the Obama administration tries to move beyond its early stumbles in carrying out the law, convince a still-skeptical public of its lasting benefits, and help Democratic incumbents, who face blistering attack ads after supporting the legislation, survive the midterm elections this fall.

Officials said Ms. Sebelius, 65, made the decision to resign and was not forced out. But the frustration at the White House over her performance had become increasingly clear, as administration aides worried that the crippling problems at HealthCare.gov, the website set up to enroll Americans in insurance exchanges, would result in lasting damage to the president’s legacy.

EXIT QUESTION: Are you covered under Obamacare if you are thrown under the bus?

The Sounds of Silence … HHS Sec. Kathleen Sebelius Becomes Speechless After a Reporter Tells Her How Unpopular Obamacare Is

Many Americans are speechless too as to what a joke and lie Obamacare has been …

Welcome to the new talking points of how the Obama administration is going to answer tough question when presented with just how unpopular Obamacare is. The talking points are … the sounds of silence and  crickets. They simply are going to play dumb and say nothing. Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius suddenly became speechless Monday when a KWTV reporter started to describe how unpopular Obamacare is in the state of Oklahoma.

Don’t worry Kathleen Sebelius, Barack Obama and Democrats … the American people will speak later this year in the 2014 midterm elections and tell you all exactly how they feel.

The Weekly Standard:

“At last check, 64 percent of Oklahomans aren’t buying into the health care plan, they don’t like Obamacare, and they’ve been pretty vocal about it,” said the reporter. “Now that’s going to be — still continue to be — a tough sell, but we’ll see how that plays out over the coming months.”

Then he waited for Sebelius to reply. And waited.

After about 7-seconds of dead air, the reporter broke in to say, “Alright, Secretary Sebelius, thank you so much for being with us this morning. I think we’ve probably lost sound here or something.”

“I can hear you,” Sebelius said, ending her silence. “But I — thanks for having me.”

UNREAL … Today is the Supposed Deadline for Obamacare and Healthcare.gov is Down

ARE YOU KIDDING ME … WHAT A |JOKE!!!

Today is supposed to be the last day to sign up for Obamacare, unless Barack Obama decides to make yet another unlawful delay. But currently the website, Healthcare.gov us down. You just can’t make this stuff up. It would appear anyone who uses the Federal exchange has to try again later. I guess this is one way of creating a line of people waiting to vote.

Seriously, who does maintenance on the last day of a deadline for sign up? What a con, when you call the telephone # 1-800-318-2596, you are told they are experience high call volume and for faster service, use Healthcare.gov. They then say if you have already left a message, you will be contacted after April 1. This is how these incompetent people are extending the deadline. They are forcing people to leave a message for a call back after the Obamacare deadline.

Another Illegal Delay: Obama Administration Extends Obamacare March Deadline Into April … What Happened to Sebelius Saying, “there is no delay beyond March 31?”

Another day and another illegal Obamacare delay …

The Obama administration has just made another arbitrary and illegal delay in providing Americans more time to enroll for Obamacare. As reported at the Washington Post, the goal posts have been moved again by the Obama administration and another delay has been implemented for Obamacare enrollment from March 31 to mid-April. But get this astonishing requirement, the White House is allowing the “honor system” for the extension. These people are just making this crap up as they go along. This is beyond unbelievable that all of this stuff is being done on a whim depending of the bad news of the day of the enrollment numbers that the Obama administration claims they don’t have access to. Is it any wonder why our country is so screwed up under this president? Obamacare is just a microcosm of how Obama handles everything.

Statutes, what statutes … I am above the law

The Obama administration has decided to give extra time to Americans who say that they are unable to enroll in health plans through the federal insurance marketplace by the March 31 deadline.

Federal officials confirmed Tuesday evening that all consumers who have begun to apply for coverage on HealthCare.gov, but who do not finish by Monday, will have until about mid-April to ask for an extension.

Under the new rules, people will be able to qualify for an extension by checking a blue box on HealthCare.gov to indicate that they tried to enroll before the deadline. This method will rely on an honor system; the government will not try to determine whether the person is telling the truth.

The rules, which will apply to the federal exchanges operating in three dozen states, will essentially create a large loophole even as White House officials have repeatedly said that the March 31 deadline was firm. The extra time will not technically alter the deadline but will create a broad new category of people eligible for what’s known as a special enrollment period.

What happened to change the fact that Obamacare enrollment was not going to be extended? Wasn’t it just earlier this month that a CMS spokesperson and HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius stated there would be no more delays? HHS official Julie Bataille said. “In fact, we don’t actually have the statutory authority to extend the open enrollment period in 2014.” And on March 12, 2014 Sebelius testified before Congress as such and said specifically, there would be no Obamacare enrollment delay past March 31?

Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services spokeswoman Julie Bataille said during a conference call on Tuesday that ‘we have no plans to extend the open enrollment period’ that began amid fits and starts on October 1.

‘In fact, we don’t actually have the statutory authority to extend the open enrollment period in 2014,’ she said.

On Wednesday, Republican Ways and Means chairman Dave Camp asked Sebelius if she agreed.

‘I haven’t seen their statements,’ she replied, despite having been on the conference call, ‘but there is no delay beyond March 31.’

As for the extended deadline on the honor system. Doug Powers at Michelle Malkin.com might just have the quote of the day … “Why should the Obama administration care to determine whether a potential enrollee is telling the truth? The Obama administration doesn’t even care if the Obama administration is telling the truth.” AMEN!!!
