From CNS News comes the following bad joke, the border patrol agents that prevent Mexicans from coming into the United States are made in, wait for it, wait for it … MEXICO. You just can’t make this stuff up.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has granted uniform contracts to VF Imagewear, Inc., an apparel company that relies on manufacturing sites in Mexico for a “significant percentage” of its occupational garments.

The latest contract with the company was awarded on Dec. 20, 2012, to make “uniform and insignia items” for the CBP at an estimated cost of $6,157,997.57, and a ceiling of $8 million.

The CBP, which is responsible for protecting America’s borders, told CNSNews.com that items from VF Imagewear, a subsidiary of VF Corporation, are manufactured in a number of locations, “including Mexico.”

Illegal Alien Jose Antonio Vargas Tells Congress Not Call Him “Illegal” Because It Offends Him & An Insult to His Family

Never would I have ever thought the following was possible in the United States, but sadly this country has lost it’s way as to what made America the greatest country in the world. Yesterday, ILLEGAL ALIEN Jose Antonio Vargas while addressing a congressional panel not to call him “illegal”. Why? Because it hurts his feelings. WTF!!! This is not about individuals feelings, its about people that have broke US law and a country that just wants to act like no law was ever broken. It would appear that Vargas has more rights in this country as an illegal than the country where his parents came from. Just curious … what part about “ILLEGAL” immigration does this kid illegal alien not get. A new flash to Mr. Vargas, the United States has a “LEGAL” process to become a US citizen. Mr. Vargas, if the “illegal” fits, where it! Remember when American used to be a country of laws?

Jose Antonio Vargas, an illegal immigrant and former reporter, scolded a congressional panel on Wednesday, saying that he should not be called illegal, and saying it is an insult to his family who brought him here.

“When you inaccurately call me illegal, you not only dehumanize me, you’re offending them,” he said. “No human being is illegal.”

Mr. Vargas testified to the Senate Judiciary Committee alongside Chris Crane — a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent and president of the ICE agents’ union — who is unable to arrest him under the administration’s new non-deportation policies.

Mr. Vargas, who “came out” as an illegal immigrant several years ago, delivered an emotional plea for the country to legalize him.

“What do you want to do with us?” he asked the committee.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME … Vargas should not be called an “illegal” because it is an insult to his family who brought him here. You mean your family sir who brought you here to the United States “illegally”? That family? It actually offend me that you are provided a forum in from of my government when you are in this country illegally? It actually offends me that your crime is supposed to be overlooked and given a free pass, while others are not. What makes you special? I guess next week bank robbers are going to be given the chance to speak before Congress that they should not be called bank robbers because it offends them. They instead want to be called “undocumented” cash withdrawer. To keep with the bank robber theme, guess what Mr. Vargas … when a criminal is caught with the ill-gotten money from a robbery, his kids are not allowed to keep the loot because they had nothing to do with the original theft.

Gang of Eight Senators Reach Bipartisan Deal on Immigration Reform

Oh Boy … Gang of Eight reach bipartisan deal on immigration reform.

The Gang of Eight, Sens. John McCain (AZ-R), Lindsey Graham (SC-R), Marco Rubio (FL-R) and Democrats Dick Durbin (IL-D), Chuck Schumer (NY-D), and Bob Menendez (NY-D), have reportedly reached a bipartisan outline of a deal that would overhaul immigration in the United States. One of the tenants of the immigration reform is to “create a tough but fair path to citizenship for unauthorized immigrants currently living in the United States that is contingent upon securing our borders and tracking whether legal immigrants have left the country when required.”

A powerful group of senators from both parties has reached a deal on the outlines of a comprehensive immigration overhaul, a development that will drive an emotional debate on a hot-button issue unseen in Washington for more than half a decade.

The group unveiled the basics of its proposal at a Monday news conference on Capitol Hill, essentially laying down a marker on the issue one day before President Barack Obama heads to Las Vegas to unveil more details about his own immigration proposal.

According to a five-page document provided to POLITICO, the sweeping proposal — agreed to in principle by eight senators — would seek to overhaul the legal immigration system as well as create a pathway to citizenship for the nation’s roughly 11 million illegal immigrants. But establishing that pathway would depend on whether the U.S. first implements stricter border enforcement measures and new rules ensuring immigrants have left the country in compliance with their visas. Young people brought to the country as children illegally and seasonal agriculture industry workers would be given a faster path to citizenship.

So two RINO’s, a Cuban-American wannabe 2016 presidential candidate and three liberals have come together to pave the way for immigration reform. Who just got a queasy feeling in their stomach? Sorry, but immigration reforms begins at closing the border, PERIOD!!! Until this is done, there should be nothing and I mean nothing to pave the way for illegals to get US citizenship. The closing of the US border should be done for national security purposes, let alone keeping illegals out. We have seen these types of promises from the LEFT before under Ronald Reagan. He granted amnesty with the promise from the LEFT to later protect the borders and guess what, it never happened. I will believe this when I see it. If the GOP actually think they are going to receive the Hispanic vote for passing immigration reform they are sorely mistaken.

FOX News Nation Only 3 Days Behind Scared Monkeys Post on More People Killed With Fists, Hammers, Clubs and Knives than Rifles

File this one under the category of it’s better late than never … Hammers more deadly than rifles.

While the MSM, even FOX News, these days is more concerned with news pregnancy stories of Kim Kardashian, Lindsey Lohans’s never ending drunken episodes and other irrelevant celebrities like Honey Boo Boo … Fox News Nation has finally got around to publishing a story via Breitbart – Big Government that Scared Monkeys had posted on 12/31/12 regarding how more people are killed by fists/hands/feet, bats, hammers and knives than those evil assault rifles. With Democrats trying to exploit the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting that sadly saw 26 individuals, including 20 children, murdered at the hands of a crazed gunman, it would appear that the Dems refuse to look at the statistical facts. We were only three days ahead of the news cycle of a link that was on the Drudge Report. Because far be it that a web site that covers high, medium and lw profile crimes against children be ahead of the game.  According to FBI statistics more people are hammers, clubs, hands and fists than rifles. So does this mean that Democrats will attempt to ban Louisville Sluggers, hammers and individuals own hands? Q and O opines, should DiFi ban assault hammers? Are we going to have to register hammers, especially the scary looking dark colored ones?

According to the FBI annual crime statistics, the number of murders committed annually with hammers and clubs far outnumbers the number of murders committed with a rifle.

This is an interesting fact, particularly amid the Democrats’ feverish push to ban many different rifles, ostensibly to keep us safe of course.

However, it appears the zeal of Sens. like Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and Joe Manchin (D-WV) is misdirected. For in looking at the FBI numbers from 2005 to 2011, the number of murders by hammers and clubs consistently exceeds the number of murders committed with a rifle.

Think about it: In 2005, the number of murders committed with a rifle was 445, while the number of murders committed with hammers and clubs was 605. In 2006, the number of murders committed with a rifle was 438, while the number of murders committed with hammers and clubs was 618.
And so the list goes, with the actual numbers changing somewhat from year to year, yet the fact that more people are killed with blunt objects each year remains constant.

Also, what SM found out during the review of murders is that more people were killed by DUI illegal immigrants than were killed by rifles. Imagine that, so will Democrats ban illegals immigrants for the safety of our children? NOT A CHANCE. Are Democrats really sincere about their protection of children, or is this gun grab just another example of Democrats not letting an opportunity go to waste?

UPDATE I: Just in case you thought this was misinformation, check out the FBI stats for yourself. BTW, check out the trend of total fire arm deaths, they are actually going down, not up.

Unbelievable, Ever Wonder Why Health Care Costs are Out of Control in US … Illegal Immigrant Gets Kidney

Unbelievable … this crap just does not end. What part about “ILLEGAL” does no one understand?

As those who are in the United States wait for their kidney transplants, Jorge Mariscal, an illegal immigrant is provided one ahead of legal tax paying US citizens. It appears that we now exist in a world with out borders and laws.  Mariscal believes health care should be a human right, not a privilege. Thats interesting, I believe breaking the law should be a crime, not rewarded. However, just because the illegal has received a kidney, he is not out of the woods yet. Loyola agreed to cover the costs of the transplant, Mariscal will have to pay for the medicine. Please, I am sure Obamacare covers illegals as it takes health care services away from those who are actually in the country legally. Just a note to Jorge, rather then thinking you have a right and are entitled to a kidney, you should be pretty damn grateful instead.

As an illegal immigrant, Jorge Mariscal waited eight years for a kidney transplant he feared would never come.

His persistence paid off Thursday when he underwent the procedure at Loyola University Medical Center.

After years of uncertainties, Mariscal said he’s excited about his future and grateful for the help he received. But he remains frustrated with a health care system that he worries might leave out an untold number of illegal immigrants in need of lifesaving treatments.

“Why can’t we be treated the same?” he asked while sitting in his hospital room. “Health care should be a human right, not a privilege. At least give us the chance to fight for our lives with dignity.”

So this guy wants to be treated the same, huh? You know how you so that Jorge? Go back yo where ever you came from and apply for citizenship. If you wanted to be treated the same, you must be the same as the rest of us. Your problem is you wanted preferential and special treatment. This is just unreal. They know this guy is an illegal and he just gets to stay and be a burden on the tax payers. WTF!

Now that his surgery is behind him, he said he’s happy he stayed stateside.

“It feels great to have a second opportunity at life,” Mariscal said. “It’s an overwhelming feeling. I don’t think I would have been happy in Mexico.”

Guatemalan Police Arrest Software Guru John McAfee for Entering the Country Illegally … WOW, You Mean Countries Protect Their Borders and Arrest for Entering Illegally?

McAfee software founder John McAfee, who has been on the run since being implicated in the death of Gregory Faull in Belize, was arrested by Guatemalan police for entering the country illegally. Hmm, wait a minute … do countries actually arrest people for entering their counties illegally? Say it isn’t so. Because God forbid that the United States do the same and actually enforce their laws of individuals entering the country illegally. What would have been classic, would have been if McAfee was arrested trying to enter Mexico. McAfee is facing murder charges in Belize; however, was trying to get asylum in Guatemala

Software company founder John McAfee was arrested by Guatemalan police for entering the country illegally, ending his bizarre weekslong journey as a blogging fugitive claiming to be persecuted by authorities in Belize.

The fate of the anti-virus guru remained unclear Thursday as Guatemalan authorities awaited word from their Foreign Ministry as to what they would do with McAfee and whether they intended to send him back to Belize, where he is a person of interest in the killing of a fellow ex-pat.

“We are awaiting instructions from the Foreign Ministry. It will be the foreign relations department that decides the process,” Interior Minister Mauricio Lopez Bonilla said following McAfee’s arrest Wednesday at a hotel in an upscale part of Guatemala City.

Earlier on Wednesday, McAfee said he had formally requested asylum in Guatemala after entering the country from Belize, where he says he fears for his safety because he has sensitive information about official corruption and refused to donate to local politicians.

Barack Obama Says His Biggest Failure is Comprehensive Immigratiion Reform, Not JOBS or the US Economy

UNBELIEVABLE … President Barack Obama says his greatest failure in the last four years is not passing comprehensive Immigration reform. Not the +8% unemployment in America, not the 23 million unemployed/underemployed Americans, not the record number of people on food stamps, not the the US has continuous dropped in competitiveness and not the record $16 trillion debt. I guess that is why Obama could not remember what the debt was when he tool office when he was on David Letterman, it was not all that important to him. Instead Obama would rather pander to a Hispanic audience.

GOP Report on ‘Fast and Furious’ Blames 5 ATF Officials for Failed Gun Walking Program

The first shoe has dropped in the Republicans investigation into the ‘Fast and Furious’ scandal. The GOP report names five ATF officials for the disastrous gun walking program that oversaw the sale of nearly 2,000 guns to buyers for Mexican drug cartels and contributed to the death of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry. Up next will be the House commencing legal action against Attorney General Eric Holder to enforce the Contempt of Congress charges. Also, a second of the three reports that is expected to look at the alleged breakdown in management within Department of Justice headquarters with a special focus on the deputy attorney general’s office and the DOJ’s criminal division.

Republican investigators pinned the failures of “Operation Fast and Furious” on five officials in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in a scathing joint congressional draft report issued Monday evening.

The 211-page draft report, obtained by The Hill, called on the Obama administration and the Senate to bolster the leadership of the ATF — which has been without a permanent director for six years — in order to move beyond the failed gun-tracking operation that led House Republicans to place Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress last month.

Specifically, the report pins blame on former Special Agent in Charge of the Phoenix Field Division William Newell, former Deputy Assistant Director for Field Operations William McMahon, former Assistant Director for Field Operations Mark Chait, the former Deputy Director William Hoover, and former acting ATF director Kenneth Melson.
