Richmond Judge places Gag order in the Taylor Behl case

According to The Richmond Times Dispatch, the judge presiding over a grand jury hearing evidence in Taylor Marie Behl’s death has signed a gag order prohibiting witnesses who appear before it from publicly discussing their testimony.

Yesterday, the attorney for Janet Pelasara, Behl’s mother, said Pelasara would legally contest any attempt to extend a gag order in the case to apply to her. Pelasara has not been called before the grand jury. But the order is a clear indication of the level of frustration that has developed over leaks of investigative information in the case.

On her 18th birthday Taylor Behl’s family has the sad task of having a viewing for their daughter. Words cannot even begin to describe the grief that Taylor’s family must be experiencing. Taylor, God Bless.

VIENNA, Va. (AP) – Virginia Commonwealth University freshman Taylor Behl would have turned 18 Thursday, but instead of birthday cake and presents her family is planning to lay her to rest.
A viewing will take place Thursday and her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Church of the Holy Comforter. Both events will be in her hometown of Vienna, but they’re not open to the public.

Family, friends and well-wishers can gather at the Money & King Funeral Home, 171 Maple Avenue West in Vienna from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m.

Medical Examiner’s Office releases Taylor Marie Behl’s Body to her Family

According to the Richmond Times Dispatch, following tests done by the medical examiners office; Taylor Behl’s body was released to her family. There was no conclusive results found as a cause of death according to the medical examiner’s office.


Taylor Behl May be Buried On her 18th Birthday

According to CBS News, Taylor Behl, whose body had been recovered last may be laid to rest this coming Thursday. It would have been Taylor Behl’s 18th birthday.

(CBS) Taylor Behl, the slain Virginia Commonwealth University freshman, may be laid to rest Thursday, which would have been her 18th birthday, her father tells The Early Show co-anchor Rene Syler.

Behl’s father, Matt Behl, told Syler Monday her funeral will probably be held Thursday.

Ben Fawley A Suspect Again in Taylor Behl case

I do not think many people gave it much credence when police and authorities originally claimed that Ben Fawley was not a “person of interest” in the Taylor Marie Behl disappearance. Police state that clues that lead to the discovery of Taylor Behl’s body came from pictures that were on Ben Fawley’s web site.

The body found yesterday in the wooded area 70 miles east of Richmond, VA has been positively identified as missing teen Taylor Behl according to a press conference on Fox News.

Janet Pelasara, mother of Taylor Behl believe remains are her daughter

The mother of missing VCU freshman Taylor Maria Behl believes that the remains found yesterday are that of her daughter. Although police and investigators have not made a formal announcement as to the identity of the body found in the wooded area 75 miles east of Richmond. Janet Pelasara, said at a news conference outside her home in Vienna,

“The body found is most likely my baby’s.”
