Barack Obama Was For Military Commission Tribunals Against KSM before He was Against Them … What Happened to the Full Military Trial?

Barack Obama was for Military Tribunals, before he was against them. So what changed from 2006? Will Americans question Obama and his Administration why he has done a reversal of fortunes on this issue?

Does this look like a common crime committed by common criminals?

Remember when Senator Barack Hussein Obama said that KSM would get a full military trail with all the bells and whistles on 9/27/06?

“Ironically those are the guys who are going to get real military procedures because they are going to be charged by the government.”

It was the debate for Military Commissions Act of 2006 to authorize trials by military commissions for violations of the law of war and act of war against the United States. The underlying bill that Obama refers to below was HR-6166 and passed and signed into law on 10/17/06.

You will hear opponents of this amendment say that it will give all kind of rights to terrorist, masterminds like Khalid Sheik Mohammed. I want to repeat that is not true. The irony of the underlying bill as it is written, is that someone like KSM is going to get a full military trial with all the bells and whistles.

Because the feeling is, he is guilty of a war crime and to do otherwise might violate the Geneva Convention.

Eight years ago this morning, September 11, 2001 it was cool beautiful Fall morning when it happened. Then it happened again.  Please take time in your day to remember and reflect back on that day and the following days after September 11. Take time to remember and say a prayer.

We can no longer put our heads in the sand and pretend like 9–11 never happened. Many of us lost colleagues, former class mates, fellow church members and people among our communities that day.

It has been seven years since the fateful morning of September 11, 2001 when a plane hijacked by muslim terrorists crashed into the World Trade Center in New York City. Then another plane hijacked once again by Islamofascists flew into the second Trade Center Tower. Then the Pentagon was attacked. Then a fourth hijacked plane went down in a field in Pennsylvania.

This time it appears that the Obama vetting machine missed or purposely overlooked the following video where Van Jones rambles on about how there has never been a Columbine shooting done by a black child. So is Van Jones stating that individual killing is so how better than shooting up an entire school? I think Van Jones might want to review the the gang violence and inner city crime statistics.

Obama’s Communist Green Czar Van Jones must go. How could anyone with this in his past be a part of a Presidential Administration? President Barack Obama has a lot of explaining.

Steve Hayes stated that it was completely inconceivable that Van Jones still has a job. How has he not been fired yet? The White House needs to be completely transparent on how they missed vetting Van Jones. Some thing that is believable.

Good Grief, Van Jones Denies Being a 911 Truther … “it certainly does not reflect my views now or ever” … I Just Always Sign What I Don’t Read

Van Jones, the communist Green Jobs Czar has denied ever being a 9–11 Truther. In a statement released over 12 hours after the initial story was reported, Van Jones stated, “the petition that was circulated today, I do not agree with this statement and it certainly does not reflect my views now or ever.”

What a joke. This is the response from Van Jones and the White House? This is what they took all day to come up with? Van Jones does not agree with the Truther statement, yet some how his name got on the petition. Because every one signs petitions that they do not agree with. Barack Obama cannot wait for the Labor Day three day weekend to come. It cannot come soon enough for The One.

A top environmental official of the Obama administration issued a statement Thursday apologizing for past incendiary statement and denying that he ever agreed with a 2004 petition on which his name appears, a petition calling for congressional hearings and an investigation by the New York Attorney General into “evidence that suggests high-level government officials may have deliberately allowed the September 11th attacks to occur.”

I really didn’t sign the petition.
Well, okay I did sign the petition, but I didn’t agree with it.
Okay, I signed the Truther petition, but I never read what I signed.
Um, if you don’t believe me then you are all racists and a$$holes.

Van Jones, the Special Advisor for Green Jobs at the White House Council on Environmental Quality, is Number 46 of the petitioners from the so-called “Truther” movement which suggests that people in the administration of President George W. Bush “may indeed have deliberately allowed 9/11 to happen, perhaps as a pretext for war.”

As the anniversary of September 11 is nearly upon us again, we at Scared Monkeys have always said since that fateful day … Don’t Ever Forget. Howver, Barack Obama instead has czars that believe the previous administration was behind the terrorist act. What was Van Joes doing the day after the 9–11 terrorist attacks? He was expressing solidarity with Arab and Muslim Americans as well as what he called the victims of “U.S. imperialism” around the world.

One day after the 9/11 attacks, President Obama’s “green jobs czar” led a vigil that expressed solidarity with Arab and Muslim Americans as well as what he called the victims of “U.S. imperialism” around the world.

How is this man still employed by Obama? How was this not vetted? Or was it and Obama just did not care. Oh and BTW, where was the MSM in uncovering this little skeleton in Van Jone’s past?

A secretary of the Army in the Clinton administration, Caldera took the fall for the public relations fiasco arising from the April 27 flyover, which was designed to replace a publicity photo of Air Force One flying past Mount Rushmore with a similar shot of Obama’s 747 jumbo jet over the Statue of Liberty.

The photo session cost taxpayers $329,000.

Caldera’s office insisted the flyover was a “classified” mission and should not be disclosed to the public, ensuring that thousands of New Yorkers would be blindsided by an event eerily reminiscent of the 9/11 terror attacks against the Twin Towers.

As President Barack Obama tell American to cut costs and states that he will order government departments to cut a paltry $100 million … the low-altitude flight for a publicity-photo shoot and one of the most ignorant, stupid and moronic stunts ever by any Administration cost tax payers $328,835.

 The Feds knew the flyover would cause panic and they did it any how, NICE!

Not only did this stunt cause wide spread panic in Manhattan as visions of September 11, 2001 were brought back to vivid reality as people fled their office buildings in fear of a terrorist attack. This most ignorant act was a waste of tax payers money and an obvious misuse and inappropriate use of Department of Defense resources. It appears that President Obama was in the dark regarding the entire matter and vows that “It was a mistake and It will not happen again.” REALLY? Too late Barack, the screw up already occurred and the genie is out of the bottle. Democratic Left Misreading the Torture Investigation Tea Leaves … Terrorists are Our Enemy, not GWB

Once again the Democrats are overplaying their hand and the torture card. As Obama listens to the far Left, they are completely misreading the tea leaves of “We the People.” Stop playing politics with out national security.

First President Barack Obama said he would not investigate harsh interrogation techniques during the GWB years. Then Obama buckled to the extreme Left of his party who wanted the “so-called” torture of terrorist suspects during the Bush Administration investigated. This has been fueled by Speaker of the House Pelosi and other Democratic Congress members. However,  according to a CBS News/New York Times poll (hardly a right-wing poll) most Americans do not want an investigation. 62%, let us repeat that, 62% of Americans do not want investigations into torture.

According to the poll, sixty-two percent of Americans do not think Congress should hold hearings to investigate the administration’s treatment of detainees. Only a third of Americans thinks Congress should investigate. That’s the same proportion as thought so in February.

Republicans overwhelming oppose Congress holding such hearings, and sixty percent of independents agree. Democrats - much like Democratic representatives in Congress — are more divided. Forty-six percent say Congress should hold hearings, while fifty-one percent say they are not necessary.

Scare Force One or is it Air Force Dumb? Obama Admin Scares NYC in 9-11 Terror Type Flyover

Who ever in the WH authorized this … was it the same people who suggested DVD’s for the PM of England and CD’s for the Queen?

One has to be beyond ignorant and out of touch to have suggested let alone followed through with such an action as flying a plane at low altitude over Manhattan. Just how arrogant, insensitive and out of touch is Team Obama? This was just “plane” dumb  and has symbolized the start of the Obama Presidency. How could all bases not have been covered? Where does the buck stop?

What was Team Obama thinking? Take a good look for yourself and watch the reaction of panicked New Yorkers as they fled from their office buildings yesterday as they were being evacuated. Before anyone thinks this is political piece against Obama all may want to first consider that Manhattan overwhelmingly voted for Obama and the people fleeing in terror with visions of September 11, 2001 running through their minds most likely did not vote for John McCain

Beyond the obvious stupidity of flying a 747 over Manhattan, ala 9–11 terrorists, one has to wonder why the White House would need such photos? They needed a photo-op for political reasons? This coming from the people who claimed that GWB used 9–11 for political gain.

It was not a terrorist attack, however, but a photo opportunity for Air Force One, sources told the Post.

President Obama was in Washington at the time, but the low-flying 747 circling the Statue of Liberty was one of the planes used as Air Force One, sources said.

Now check out the following video from September 11, 2001 and see why yesterday people were so frightened, Republicans, Democrats and Independents alike. When a plane flies overhead and one is reminded of 9-11 and the 3000 people who died that day, they hardly consider the fact of what political party they belong to. They think of survival and helping their fellow American, man, woman and child.  Didn’t the flyover above look and sound hauntingly similar to the one below?
