WTF… At very few times have I been at a loss for words during the case of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. However, this might just be one of them. Please tell me that this pic has been fauxtoshopped. Joran Van der Sloot has portrayed all the classic signs over the past 3 years of being a sociopath and narcissist. I guess we should not be surprised as this photo spread appears to be no different.

So much for Joran’s trauma in dealing with the Holloway case. I am glad to see that Joran Van der Sloot has gotten over the pain, stress and strain of all the accusations hurled at him and is now able to enjoy himself and carry on his wreckless life.

Too bad Natalee Holloway could not pursue her life …

JORAN CONTINUES TO PARTY

ORANJESTAD (AAN) Recently, a dutch magazine revealed photos of Joran van der Sloot with his new American friend, having a party in Thailand.

He “posed” for the photo, drinking from a bucket full oa alchol, and also stark naked. He is anonymously partying with other tourists on the issland of Koh Samet, where tourists shot the photos.

“I am king of the Ocean”, Joran yelled, according to a witness, when he was abandoning the island on a speedboat. Joran supposedly put himself in the care of a psychiatric institution, for therpay destined to people who are stuck in normal life and confront problems of behavior and psychiatric problems.

An internet friend of Joran, Martin Bakx, in the recent past loaned Joran some money to save him from prison after he was caught with marihuana.

According to Bakx, Joran took 6000 Euros form his account.

Supposedly this area was searched. Is it possible that these sneakers are the one’s missing from Joran Van der Sloot in the case of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway?

Missing in Aruba: 12-year old Morellia Larmonie Missing Since 5/21/2008 … (Update: Found Safe)

There appears to be another missing girl in Aruba. This time its 12 year old Aruban girl, Morellia Larmonie, who has been missing since Wednesday, May 21, 2008. The Aruban police are treating the disappearance as a runaway minor. (Dutch version)

What is rather disturbing and seems to be a common thread when hearing of missing cases in Aruba, the police do not seem to make any real effort to find the missing people. The lack of seriousness, especially at the outset of missing person cases, is troubling.  It is an issue that we are hearing from the parents of 12 year old Morellia Larmonie feel the need to say that “very little effort is made to actively locate the girl.”

Morellia got on the bus in Pos Chiquito last Wednesday afternoon, but never got off the bus in Rooi Hundu where she lives.

They say that the police treat the case as a ‘runaway minor’ and very little effort is made to actively locate the girl.  The father doesn’t say whether there is reason for the girl to run away from Home.  “She lives with her mother, so I do not know all the details.  But I can’t imagine that Morellia prefers to stay in hiding and do not want to call home.  I really can’t imagine that.”

UPDATE I: This is news we like to hear. According to a report that we received from Jossy Mansur, Managing editor of Diario, the 12 year old girl has been found safe by her father yesterday.

Aruban Minister Booshi Wever Suing Diario, Freedom of the Press, Not in Aruba

In Aruba, words are more offensive than individuals actions …

It appears that once again an Aruban political official is suing Jossy Mansur and Diario for of defamation. Minister Candelario (Booshi) Wever is suing Diario claiming that his reputation was tarnished by statements made in Diario. So much for freedom of the press or free speech.

The minister says that ‘desgraciado’ is one of the worst insults in Papiamento.  That word is translated as ‘unhappy’ in the Diccionario Avanza of Jossy M. Mansur (also director of Diario), but in the normal linguistic usage, the meaning is much stronger and very offensive.  The article also insinuates that the minister is the owner of a brothel in Venezuela and that Wever’s days are numbered and that he will feel the Colombian Community breathing down his neck.  That is actually the reason why the minister instituted the lawsuit to demand a rectification from Diario.  

Is it any wonder why Aruban officials could not cope with the American press during the Natalee Holloway disappearance and investigation? These people are more worried about what is said about them than the actual facts that transpire during a story. Its not always the politicians, but the people themselves. Was there anything more heinous than Beth Holloway, the mother of missing Natalee Holloway having to apolgize to the Kalpoe’s for comments made when all signs pointed to the fact that they were some how involved at took part with her daughters disappearance.

Natalee Holloway: Comments Form Jossy Mansur Regarding New Developments in Aruba and Joran Van der Sloot

The following are comments that I received today from Jossy Mansur, Managing Editor of Diario. It would seem that Aruba has grown sick and tired of Joran Van der Sloot and his actions. Although they are late to the game, they now do not believe Joran Van der Sloot’s story or his excuses. Joran is no longer welcome in Aruba. It’s about time that Aruba stopped running cover for Joran. Then there is the following confirmation regarding a man who claims he found a telephone behind the lighthouse in 2005. The walls are caving in around Joran Van der Sloot and his family.

Everything is happening in Holland. The Dutch government is now interested in the case and plans to do something about it, we were informed from Holland. Joran was interrogated for more than two hours by the dutch national police and three policemen from Aruba. We still have to hear what came out of that.
 
The Minister of Justice declared Joran ‘persona non grata’ (unwelcome) in Aruba. He also said he is kicking Paulus off every government committee in which he has a seat (hospital, prison, etc.). Late, but proof of the change of attitude noticeable everywhere on the island. Most people here are convinced Joran is responsible for Natalee’s death.
 
The people here are really fed-up with that character. The worst that could have happened to him is the video recording made by De Vries. No one believes his story about being under the influence of marijuana because he never stuttered, never hesitated, his eyes didn’t become vague or unfocused, he was in complete command of himself all the time. He could have used it as an excuse had it not been shown in its entirety (in Dutch) and was seen and heard in Aruba by practically everyone.
 
Voices are now being raised to kick him and his family off the island. Others want the U.S. to extradite him. Things are moving fast on that level, but on the official level we find the prosecution still pussy-footing with it.
 
A man claims he found a telephone behind the lighthouse in 2005; it was broken; he fixed it and dialed a person with the phone, so his story goes. The person apparently answered and said that that number belonged to Paulus Van der Sloot. The man is now giving testimony to the police. Late, but still important enough to be taken into consideration.

Tired of listening to lies and slander regarding Natalee Holloway and those that would attack a victim who cannot defend herself. Enter Jossy Mansur … the voice of reason.

The only thing that I want to make clear is that I don’t believe in phonies who dialogue with the dead, because I don’t believe in the fiction of contacts with the nether regions. NATALEE…AND THE PHONIES!

It’s about time that the phonies that flock around the Natalee case take their leave from it, and let it remain circumscribed to what is written in the police reports. Outside those reports, any one can speculate, pretend to talk to spirits, listen to voices from the nether world, and come up with all sorts of ridiculous statements. Those who really want to know what happened to Natalee must read all the transcripts that the interrogators prepared after listening to the three suspects as well as the father of Joran, plus the number of witnesses and/or people of interest the police brought in for questioning.

To bring spiritualists like Yomanda, or Negro Felipe, or Maria Loionsa, is typical of people who live outside the real world. And for those who do not know, a “spiritualist” is a person who believes in the doctrine that the spirit of the dead can communicate with the living. As far as I am aware, Rudy Croes seems to be a believer in that doctrine.

Aruba Sinks to New Lows, Part II … Tourism-minister Edison Briesen that introduced them to Justice Minister Croes

This mornings article, ARUBA SINKS TO NEW LOW … Think This Isn’t Slander and Libel? … Daniel Young and Kelly Castillo Claim Natalee Holloway abused by stepfather Jug Twitty, would have been so long to write we have decided to break it up into numerous parts.

The question with this farce and smear campaign by Young and Castillo is who paid you to come forward now? Do not tell us no one! There have been far too many opportunists in this case and you two just landed at the top of the National Enquirer list.

The idea that anyone in Aruba would consider Daniel Young and Kelly Castillo credible shows many revealing aspects of what how people in authority in Aruba will do any thing at all cost to protect tourism and smear tourists reputations. Why would two “mediums” with tin foil hat and moon bat theories become credible now. Why would they be given a forum like Aruba TV? What is even more startling and telling is how these two, investigators as the Amigoe likes to refer to them, came to meet any one of authority in Aruba. The Tourism Minister is introducing these two to the Minister of Justice. As we have always said, in Aruba … its tourism first at all cost.

Let’s face it, Minister Briesen would have done anything to stem the tide of Aruba’s faltering tourism as he hid under his desk dodging questions regarding Aruba’s freefall tourism numbers.

Not even Minister Croes, who at that time, two years ago, called them ‘Indian stories’.   It was Tourism-minister Edison Briesen that introduced them to Croes, because he thought that the information was important enough to be included in the judicial investigation.  Croes is of the opinion that now that the case against the suspects Joran and the brothers Deepak and Satish Kalpoe has brought no results, the Public Prosecution must also consider other scenarios.

So after all this time, after the powers that be in Aruba have done everything in their power to sabotage the case of missing Natalee Holloway, Rudy Croes now states that all scenarios have to be considered. How truly evil a soul do you have Minister Croes. For that matter, why don’t we investigate you Mr. Croes … people have accused you of being complicit in this crime.

Let this be a word of warning to all those who think that the Natalee Holloway story is insignificant and does not affect you. Many have scoffed at this story calling it “Missing Imagine having your child or you yourself you on vacation and “something bad happens”. Imagine that government officials of that island teem up with tourism to smear your name and your child’s reputation. Think it’s so far fetched? Think again … that is what happened in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway.

We asked Jossy Mansur what his opinion was of Daniel Young and Kelly Castillo and the credibility of their accusations. As usual, Jossy Mansur was not at a loss for words. He too completely questions their credibility.

Honestly, I cannot waste my time with the two “spiritists” that came to Aruba and held a press conference to make what seems to me to be accusations they did not substantiate with any kind of proof. I hope that, if what they brought forward is a fabrication, Jug will initiate legal proceedings against them. I think Beth should too. But, all in all, nothing of what they said has made us change our conviction that the three ex-suspects know perfectly well what happened to Natalee.

There was no one else involved that we know of, or that has come forward to make any claims. And neither the prosecution nor the investigative team have brought forward any leads to the contrary! In the absence of that, we hold on to our stand that Natalee did not die a natural death, and that the three ex-suspects who are known to be the last persons to be with her when she was still alive, know what happened to her.  However, there is always a very small possibility that she may still be alive, at least until something of her is found to eliminate that hope completely.

If she is still alive (and that is our highest hope) she must have been found or identified a long time ago. With so much media attention, accompanied by so much police investigations here and in the U.S., and so much public interest, how can she have escaped the intense scrutiny, wherever she may be?
