Maybe the US Government Could Learn Something from Prostitutes with Credit Crisis … Oldest Profession is not Suffering

Hey Congress, White House and Feds it looks like you guys and gals could learn a thing or two from the oldest profession. They seem to be doing something right. As the Dow Jones plummets followed by the world markets, the business of prostitution is still strong. After all many have said there really is not much of a difference between the two professions these days. Of course these days prostitutes have a higher approval rating than Congress and pretty much do the will of the people, or at least their “Johns”. I bet prostitutes would never extend 100 to 1 debt to asset ratio loans to their customer.

Isn’t this special, according to The Daily News even though the stock market has tanked and investors have lost their collective shirts … the world’s oldest profession keeps chugging along as business is still brisk. Some people have cut back on their services; however, it appears that many need the get away from their 9–5 jobs. I guess it pays to be in a cash business.

The long-haired, long-legged hooker then explained why the red-light district remains a blue-chip commodity: “If men are horny, they’re going to come in here.”

Nation of Islam Leader Louis Farrakhan Calls Barack Obama “The Messiah” … Separation of Church & State?

What are we to think of this besides head shaking bewilderment and fear? Everyone thinks is a quirky joke when references are made of Barack Obama being the “Chosen One” or the “Obamamessiah.” Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan leaves no doubt when he says, when Obama talks “the Messiah is absolutely speaking.” Once again it’s about the company that one keeps and those that would want to bestow power upon Obama. The question in voters minds should be why? Why do so many people who espose hate toward America want Obama to become President of the United States?

Imagine, just imagine what the MSM would do if some reverend, pastor or priest made such a reference about either John McCain or Sarah Palin. The Left & the MSM would be criticizing either candidate for their right-wing, conservative Christian values. GWB was chided for his religious beliefs during his Presidential election, now we have a liberal, far left candidate that is being referred to as “the Messiah”. That in itself if sacrilege enough. What ever happened to separation of Church and State? How can Obama be the Messiah and President? Where is the uproar from the LEFT?

One thing we will say regarding this matter and as the Bible teaches us, beware of false prophets:

I wonder why the MSM is not commenting on these words of praise from Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan? As The Gateway Pundit states, “I was not aware that Islam had a Messiah?”

“Brothers and sisters,” Farrakhan said, “Barack Obama to me, is a herald of the Messiah. Barack Obama is like the trumpet that alerts you something new, something better is on the way.”

Farrakhan points out that the man Nation of Islam followers refer to as “the Savior,” Fard Muhammad, had a black father and a white mother, just as Obama did.

“A black man with a white mother became a savior to us,” he said. “A black man with a white mother could turn out to be one who can lift America from her fall.

Caylee Anthony still Missing … Casey Anthony Preparing for the Worst

As an anticipated and pending grand jury date awaits next week in the case of Casey Anthony and her missing daughter Caylee, the mom (Casey) is preparing for the worst. Wouldn’t the worst in a parents life be losing a beautiful baby like Caylee, not being indicted!

The lawyer for the mother of a missing Florida girl won’t say whether he expects her to be indicted on homicide charges.

But attorney Jose Baez tells the “Today” show Thursday that he and 22-year-old Casey Anthony have been preparing for the worst.

Three-year-old Caylee Anthony was reported missing in July, but her mother tells police she hasn’t seen the girl since June.

Obama’s Now Story on Unrepentant Terrorist Bill Ayers: ‘I assumed that he had been rehabilitated’

TRUTH, LIES AND VIDEO TAPE …

Obama now has yet another story to explain away his association with domestic terrorist former Weather Underground leader Bill Ayers. If Obama did not find the notion of his relationship with Ayers so troubling to his political campaign, why does “The Chosen One” keep changing his story?  Can America afford to elect a President who either assumes or lies?

Barack Obama, how could you have misread the signs that Ayers was rehabilitated? That appears to be an American flag he is standing on in a Chicago Magazine 2001 article titled “No Regrets.”

The MSM claims the two do not know each other. In the past Obama has stated that Bill Ayers was just a person he served on a board, then he was some one who just lived in his neighborhood and then it was ok, he was someone who hosted an event for Obama when the Democratic presidential nominee first launched his political career in Chicago in 2001. Now there is yet another version, “I assumed that he had been rehabilitated.” As Town Hall states, Rehabilitated?  Is the MSM so in the bag that they won’t notice this tissue-paper thin dodge?

Barack Obama now says about his relationship with unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers, “I assumed that he had been rehabilitated.”ASSUMED? Obama you know what happens when one assumes … You make an ASS out of U and ME! America, the time line of events does not lie; however, it would appear that Obama is when he discusses his relationship with Ayers.

In an interview with the sympathetic conservative talk radio host this afternoon, Obama offered the clearest explanation yet of how an extremely careful politician allowed himself anywhere near a former ’60s radical who would become a Republican target in this year’s presidential campaign.

Obama “had assumed” from Bill Ayers’ stature in Chicago, he told the Philadelphia-based Michael Smerconish, that Ayers had been “rehabilitated” since his 1960s crimes.

As The Gateway Pundit points out, how could Obama have assumed that Bill Ayers had been rehabilitated when in 2001 at the same time that Ayers launched Obama’s political career Ayers and at the same time promoting the fact that Ayers was proud of his terrorism days. There is no way that anyone who should be a candidate for the President of the United States would have had such poor judgment. Obama knew.

• On September 11, 2001, The New York Times published, “No Regrets for a Love Of Explosives; In a Memoir of Sorts, a War Protester Talks of Life With the Weathermen” on the life of Bill Ayers.
• Also in 2001, Bill Ayers also wrote about his terrorist bombings in his memoir, “Fugitive Days.” It was not an apology.
• Now get this… Bill Ayers was serving with Barack Obama on the Woods Fund Board in 2001.

Barack Obama has presented to the American voter that he is an informed Ivy League intellectual who can solve all of our problems yet when it comes to Bill Ayers, it seems that Obama does not read newspapers.

Could Casey Anthony be Facing Homicide Indictment soon … Case Goes to Grand Jury Next Week? Also Video of Check Fraud

Last week Casey Anthony was officially named a suspect in the disappearance of Caylee Anthony. Now it is being widely reported by news sources in Orlando, FL that prosecutors will seek homicide charges against Casey Anthony in the disappearance of her 3-year-old daughter, Caylee Marie. The case may be brought in front of the grand jury next week.

An Orange County grand jury is scheduled to meet next week in Orlando, starting Tuesday. Grand jurors hear evidence presented by prosecutors and decide whether it is enough to justify an indictment.

Jessica D`Onofrio with CNN affiliate WKMG broke the story that prosecutors plan to seek homicide charges in the coming days. D’Onofrio is stating that although subpoenas have not yet gone out some potential witnesses have been told to clear their schedules for Tuesday of next week.

The reports are that the grand jury is convening in Orange County next week and it is believed that evidence  against Casey Anthony will be presented in the disappearance of her daughter Caylee Anthony.

Casey Anthony Now Wants to Search Privately for Missing Caylee Anthony & Freedom of Travel

After all this time stone walling and lying to police Casey Anthony wants to search for her missing daughter. Suddenly Casey Anthony is not afraid to search for Caylee.

Caylee Anthony has been missing since June 9, 2008. Caylee was not reported missing by her grandmother, Cindy Anthony, until July 16, 2008. Now some four months after Caylee Anthony initially disappeared, the mother Casey Anthony wants to search privately for her daughter and have freedom of travel to do so. WTF!!!

Casey Anthony’s attorneys want a judge to approve a request that would allow them to take their client to places “of interest” so she can help look for her missing daughter, Caylee   They want to be able to do it in private and without public knowledge.

Right now, Casey is under home confinement and must obtain permission from the county jail to travel.  Such requests are public record.

Would not one have thought that if Casey Anthony had special and secret locations to search for Caylee that she would have provided that information to Orange County investigators?  Secret? Like anything Casey Anthony could be a secret with the media on her tail 24/7. How insulting to our collective intelligence could this case possibly get?

After not searching for a month and hanging out in bars and dancing the night away Casey Anthony now wants to do special private searches. Isn’t that special. Her lawyer, Jose Baez, has asked a judge Friday that his client be allowed out of her parents’ Orlando house, where she is confined with an ankle monitor, saying she wants to help find the missing child.

AIG Execs Livin La Vita Loca After Bailout with Our Hard Earned Tax Dollars

Goverment oversight? There was none before, why would anyone think there will be any in the future? This is why one never rewards bad behavior as there is never a learning curve as to what was done wrong. Throwing $’s at problems never solves the root cause.

Think it was hard to stomach the $700 + billion bailout of greedy corporations when the law was passed by Congress? The following actions by AIG was just a kick in the gut to  “We the People.”  What else would any one expect from a corporation that was just rewarded for bad behavior? Does any one thing AIG learned a lesson by their risky and failed business practices?

Following the corporate gift, the corporate welfare present that the American tax payers gave companies last week in the socialist bailout plan, AIG decides to show their appreciation to “WE THE PEOPLE” by livin’ la vita loca and spending $440,000 on a posh California retreat for its executives, complete with spa treatments, banquets and golf outings.

AIG sent its executives to the coastal St. Regis resort south of Los Angeles even as the company tapped into an $85 billion loan from the government it needed to stave off bankruptcy. The resort tab included $23,380 worth of spa treatments for AIG employees, according to invoices the resort turned over to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

Oil Drops to $88 a Barrel … Why does the Price at the Pump not Follow? Trump Says OPEC & Oil Companies Ripping Us Off

The price of oil has dropped to approximately $88 a barrel amid economic concerns and the concern that demand for oil consumption will follow. In mid-July 2008 oil was selling for a yearly high of $147 a barrel. So with oil falling 40% since July, why does the national gas average not reflect the same? So why has the price at the pump that reflected these price changes?

At $88 a barrel and falling one would think that the price presently should be under $3.00 nationally. So why isn’t it? Once again, where is the Federal Government and namely the Department of Energy providing oversight? The irony is that the DOE has a web page promoted to reporting price gouging & fixing. So how does one report that the entire practice of oil companies is price fixing and the DOE just turns their head and allows it to happen?

U.S. crude settled down $6.07 at $87.81 a barrel after hitting an eight-month low of $87.56. London Brent crude fell $6.57 to settle at $83.68 a barrel.

Crude prices have plummeted from a peak over $147 a barrel set on July 11 as high fuel prices and the growing financial crisis slow oil demand in top consumer the United States and other industrialized nations.

However, at $88 a barrel one would think that the cost of gas would be below $3.00 a gallon. Imagine what our economy would be doing today if people had more disposable income of their own and were not gouged on a daily basis to fill up their gas tanks. If OPEC is not manipulating the price it would seem that the oil compares are. Donald Trump spoke recently on CNBC as said the following,

“I consider myself to be a great capitalist, but I think the oil companies have been ripping off this country and the world for a long time,” Trump said. “I can see doing something against the oil companies. They’re making numbers–nobody’s ever seen numbers like this. They and OPEC and lots of people together are having a lot of fun.”

Senator Obama was silent on the regulation of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and his Democratic allies in Congress opposed every effort to rein them in. As recently as September of last year he said that subprime loans had been, quote, “a good idea.” Well, Senator Obama, that “good idea” has now plunged this country into the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression.
