Let the Democrat 2020 Three Ring Circus Beging … Dems 2020 Problem: Too Many Candidates, Too few Minority Staffers

AND THE MSM MADE FUN OF THE MANY GOP CANDIDATES IN 2016

As reported at Politico, the Democrats problem in 2020 will be too many presidential candidates and too few minority staffers for those campaigns. Remember in 2016 when the MSM made fun of the multitude of 17 GOP candidates for president? Did anyone bother to take a look at and criticize the all white and old Democrat ones, including Hillary? Of course not. But now ahead of the 2020 elections, the Democrat candidates are slowing showing their intentions, as well as others that are expected to run, and the number could far outweigh the amount of Republican 2016 candidates. How many stages and children’s tables will be needed for a debate? However, veterans of Democrat campaigns also seem to think that if the candidates have few African-Americans or other minorities in its top leadership, they will fail. In an era where President Trump is making inroads with minorities, Democrats will be all in playing the race card and optics.

democrats-2020-candidates

Potential 2020 Democratic presidential candidates in the early stages of assembling campaign staffs are running into an uncomfortable truth: Among the already small pool of capable operatives, there’s an even smaller pool of nonwhite campaign managers and senior advisers.

The shortage could have serious repercussions given the large number of expected candidates and the diverse makeup of the Democratic electorate. The party’s base is increasingly young and diverse, and candidates, especially older ones, need staffers who understand how to stitch together coalitions across racial and economic lines.

The emerging campaigns of some would-be candidates have tried to get a jump on the problem, compiling spreadsheets of potential minority staffers and holding discussions with the candidates about the need to assemble diverse teams. Sens. Elizabeth Warren, Sherrod Brown and Kirsten Gillibrand have had African-Americans in senior-level positions in their past campaigns, putting them in position to reactivate them if they run for president.

But interviews with more than a dozen Democratic operatives — including aides to several likely 2020 contenders and veterans of past presidential campaigns — produced a consensus that there simply aren’t enough minority operatives to staff what’s expected to be a sprawling field of candidates.

Veterans of past Democratic campaigns say that a campaign that doesn’t have African-Americans or other minorities in its top leadership is going to hit a wall very quickly.

“Here’s what’s going to happen. If you don’t have any people of color on your national team or if you don’t have them in those early states … you’re going to be hamstrung,” said Jamal Simmons, who has served as an adviser for multiple Democratic presidential campaigns. A candidate campaigning in a largely white state like New Hampshire is likely to be asked about issues that voters in minority-rich states like South Carolina care about, Simmons said, and will have trouble responding if their team isn’t prepared.

The Ingraham Angle 1/13/18: Its So Easy for the MSM and the LEFT to Call Trump a Racist instead of Dealing with the Facts

LAURA SETS THE RECORD STRAIGHT …

Laura Ingraham discusses Trump’s recent remarks of “sh*t holes” and asks, what is the difference between that and a third world country of hell hole? Some how Democrat Dick Durbin thinks “chain migration” now thinks that is racist. So you think Trump is a racist? Are you kidding me? This term has been used for years by both Democrats and Republicans, and now its suddenly an issue for the LEFT. These people really do need mental help. Take a good look what President Donald Trump has done for black America. And you call that racist, eh?

African – Americans Under President Donald Trump as compared to the first black president, Barack Obama. This is the LEFT’s worst nightmare, Trump is good for blacks and maybe this may actually show up at the ballot box.

So this man is a racist, huh? With results like this, one would think that the KKK would revoke his card. But that’s right, Trump doesn’t have one. Who did, why Democrat Senate Majority Leader, Robert C. Byrd.

Robert C. Byrd was a recruiter for the Klan while in his 20s and 30s, rising to the title of Kleagle and Exalted Cyclops of his local chapter. After leaving the group, Byrd spoke in favor of the Klan during his early political career. Though he claimed to have left the organization in 1943, Byrd wrote a letter in 1946 to the group’s Imperial Wizard stating “The Klan is needed today as never before, and I am anxious to see its rebirth here in West Virginia.”

Donald Trump Did Better With Blacks & Hispanics Than Mitt Romney in 2012 Exit Polls … Hillary Clinton Under-Preformed

I GUARANTEE TRUMP DID EVEN BETTER THAN EXIT POLLS CLAIMS AS MANY WOULD NEVER ADMIT THEY VOTED FOR TRUMP …

As reported at NBC, Donald Trump did better in the 2016 presidential election exit polls with blacks and Hispanics than Mitt Romney did in 2012.  According to exit polls, Trump claimed 29% of the Hispanic vote on Tuesday compared to Romney’s 27% in 2012. And with blacks, exit polls show Trump claimed 8% of the vote to the previous Republican nominee’s 6%. I will state that the numbers were probably even greater for Trump s many blacks and Hispanics would never have admitted to a polling agent who they voted for. The minority Clinton firewall was breached. Why did this happen, maybe because Trump was willing to speak the truth. Trump also made a plea for the minority vote and promised to help aid the inner cities, promises that have been long made by Democrats in the past and ignored, even by the first elected black president, Barack Obama.

I had said from the outset of this election, even if Hillary Clinton garnered the same percentage of the black vote, there was no way the number of blacks would come out and support her as compared to Obama. That was just common logic. Hillary was not going to inspire blacks to vote for her like the first elected black president. In the end, she could not even manage to get the same percentage. 88% as compared to 93% for Obama in 2012. If Donald Trump does what he says in not forgetting minorities and putting them back to work, the Democrat lock on minorities may be broken forever.

Donald Trump thumbs up

Donald Trump performed stronger among black and Hispanic voters than Mitt Romney did as the Republican nominee in 2012, according to NBC Exit Polls.

Tuesday’s exit poll results have not yet been finalized but so far they show Trump outmatching Romney by two points in each voting bloc.

Trump claimed 29 percent of the Hispanic vote on Tuesday compared to Romney’s 27 percent in 2012. With blacks, exit polls show Trump claimed 8 percent of the vote to the previous Republican nominee’s 6 percent.

That means Trump — who called Mexicans “rapists” and “killers” — garnered more support from Hispanics than a candidate whose most controversial position was telling undocumented immigrants to “self-deport.”

Trump has frequently linked blacks to “inner city” slums and crime at rallies. Yet he performed better among African American voters than a considerably more moderate Republican nominee.

Hillary Clinton frown

The fail of Hillary Clinton with minorities.

Among the many questions early exit polls are raising about Donald Trump’s upset victory Tuesday evening is how Hillary Clinton underperformed so severely among black and Hispanic voters, when she was expected to overwhelmingly sweep up each demographic.

Exit polls from CNN and NBC show that Trump managed to perform better among black and Hispanic voters than Republican nominee Mitt Romney did in 2012.

Yet despite a surge in early voting among Hispanics in states like Florida, Arizona, and Nevada, which boosted expectations of a Clinton victory, she ended up winning just 65% of the Hispanic vote — down from Obama’s 71% in 2012.

Clinton, who had relied on black voters as her “firewall” during the primaries, received less of their vote than expected in the general election. She only received 88% of their vote, down from the whopping 93% who supported Obama in 2012.

An interesting tid-bit of info comes from the Daily Caller … “despite expectations that his path to victory depended on supercharging white turnout, Trump did not outperform Romney among white voters. He received just 58 percent of the white vote, a small drop from Romney’s 59 percent. Clinton, though, dropped further, winning just 37 percent of whites compared to Obama’s 39 percent”.

Donald Trump Wins Big in GOP Nevada Caucuses … Trump Wins the Latino Vote

RUBIO AND CRUZ, HOPE WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS NEVADA, STAYS IN VEGAS NEVADA …

Last night Donald Trump easily won the Nevada caucus by more than doubling his second and third place opponents. This is the third straight victory for Trump as he previously won the New Hampshire and South Carolina primaries. A record turn out showed up for the Nevada caucuses. And it would seem that all demographics voted for Trump.  With 96% of the vote in Trump was dominating the race with 45.9%. Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz were in a narrow battle for second with Rubio at 23.9% and Cruz at 21.4%.

Donald Trump trounced his rivals in the Nevada caucuses on Tuesday, notching his third consecutive victory and giving the Manhattan mogul even more momentum heading into Super Tuesday next week, when voters in a dozen states will cast their ballots.

Trump’s decisive win, which the Associated Press announced immediately after polls closed, was propelled by an electorate even more enraged than the ones that had swept him to wins in New Hampshire and South Carolina, and a second-place showing in Iowa.

“We love Nevada. We love Nevada,” Trump declared in his victory speech. “You’re going to be proud of your president and you’re going to be even prouder of your country.”

In his post caucus victory speech Trump said, “We weren’t expected to win too much and now we’re winning, winning, winning the country. And soon the country is going to start winning, winning, winning.” Trump continued to say, “We won the evangelicals. We won with young. With won with old. We won with highly educated. We won with poorly educated. I love the poorly educated.” What might be even more astounding is that he won 44% of the Lationos that voted in Nevada. Unbelievable. More than both Cruz and Rubio who are of Latino origin.

Donald Trump holds a commanding lead in the delegate count; however, the focus turns to Super Tuesday, March 1 where 13 states will hold their primaries. But it appears that Trump holds the lead in 9 of the 13 states.
