I guess it is true, there is some honor amongst thieves and a certain amount of prison justice afforded to those who even offend the sensibilities of criminals. However, the sad and pathetic part of this case is that so many mistakes were made and benefits of the doubt given to this pedophile that it became an accident waiting to happen. Let this be a lesson, there is no such thing as a one time pedophile and they will escalate their crimes to meet their sick needs.

29 year old David Renz was beaten in jail after he was arrested for allegedly murdering a Syracuse Woman and raping her 10 year old daughter following a carjacking.  It is too bad they didn’t do more. I guess there is always prison for this POS to look forward to. Renz had a swollen face and tissues stuffed up both nostrils when he appeared in federal court Friday to face a probation violation charge. The assault took place at the Onondaga County Justice Center David J. Renz of Cicero  kidnapped Lori Bresnahan, 47, a library media specialist with the Liverpool School District, and her daughter Saturday night in front of the Great Northern Mall in the Town of Clay. Lori Bresnahan later died from stab wounds and her daughter some how miraculously escaped the vehicle and was helped by a motorist.  Renz was charged with first degree rape, first degree kidnapping, first and second degree murder.

 Authorities say a man accused of killing a Syracuse woman and raping her 10-year-old daughter during a carjacking was beaten and suffered a broken nose on his first day in jail.

The Post-Standard, of Syracuse, reports that David Renz had a swollen face and tissues stuffed up both nostrils when he appeared in federal court Friday to face a probation violation charge.

His attorneys say Renz was assaulted by other inmates at the Onondaga County Justice Center, where he was taken following his arrest Thursday night.

Sheriff Kevin Walsh told the newspaper he was looking into why Renz was put into a holding area with other prisoners.

Renz had previously been charged in January 2013 with possession of child pornography and allowed to remain free under terms that included staying off the Internet and away from places including schools, parks and arcades. Because we all know that human pieces of waste like this do exactly what they are told. Guess what, here comes the shock of all shocks … the pedophile did nothing according to his probation. Renz deactivated his electronic monitoring device off his ankle before he viscously attached 47 year old Lori A. Bresnahan and her 10 year old daughter.

Before Renz attacked 47-year-old Lori A. Bresnahan and a 10-year-old girl in the Great Northern Mall parking lot Thursday night, he deactivated the ankle bracelet he was fitted with when federal authorities released him from custody in January on child pornography charges.

The monitoring company didn’t detect anything until Renz had already committed the crimes and was in police custody.

Renz, who has a computer science degree from SUNY Oswego, deactivated his ankle bracelet at 7 p.m., according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Lisa Fletcher. His curfew required him to stay at his mother’s house on Lakeshore Road.

Note to law enforcement, prosecutors, judges and probation folks … don’t let pedophiles out in the public, let alone ones with computer science degrees and given them electronic ankle bracers.

Police Launch Child Porn Investigation at St Pauls in Chains Roman Catholic Church in Waterbury, CT

As if the Roman Catholic Church has not had enough black eyes when it comes to the sexual abuse of children.

It is being reported by WFSB that State police have launched a child porn investigation at the St. Paul’s in Chains Roman Catholic Church in Waterbury, Connecticut.Authorities have seized a computer from the Rectory as part of the child pornography investigation. Also, Father Dennis Carey has resigned. As reported at Fox News, Norwich Bishop Michael Cote will release a letter to parishioners during masses this weekend announcing that he has received and accepted the resignation of their pastor, Fr. Dennis Carey. So far there have not been any arrests; however, a prompt resignation cannot be a good sign.

WFSB-TV is reporting that state police seized a computer at Rectory of St. Paul in Chains Church as part of an investigation into possible child pornography, and Father Dennis Carey has resigned.

The news report said a computer was seized Thursday at the Waterford church, and Carey resigned, effective immediately. According to the article, a letter to members in the church by Most Reverend Michael Cote, Bishop of Norwich, said, “I have received and accepted the resignation of your pastor, Father Dennis Carey. His resignation is effective immediately.”

Steven Powell, the father-in-law of missing Utah mom Susan Powell, could actually be released from prison in less than one year even though he was convicted of 14 voyeurism counts. More to the point, he was taking pics and video of two under age neighbor girls. Even though prosecutors asked for 10 years, the judge gave him a slap on the wrist and only sentenced this perv to 2-1/2 years which will translate into less than a year. How sick. I still cannot comprehend how processing child porn got him such a weak sentence. One has to wonder, what is more perverse, Steven Powell taking pics of little girls or the punishment handed down as so-called Justice?

The father-in-law of missing Utah woman Susan Powell may be released from prison in less than a year, despite being convicted of 14 voyeurism counts.

Steven Powell was sentenced earlier this month to 2 1/2 years in prison for recording images of two neighbor girls in their bathroom. After factoring for time served, good time and reductions because he is a nonviolent offender, the state has calculated his potential release date as May 23, 2013.

Prosecutors had asked for Powell to be sentenced to 10 years.

Susan Powellwent missing and was last seen the evening of December 6, 2008.  She has never been seen or heard from since. Josh Powell, the husband and main suspect in the disappearance of Susan Powell, would later kill himself and his two children in a fiery blaze murder-suicide.

Among the 1000′s of pics recovered during the search for missing Susan Powell, included the neighbor girls, who were about 8 and 10 when the images were recorded taking baths and in the bathroom. 2 and 1/2 years … that’s it!!! How can the possession of child pornography only garner such a low sentence?  Sadly, could it could not be determined when the pics were taken and Washington state did not make voyeurism a ranked felony in 2006.

The mother of Steven Powell’s victims was trembling and tearful in court as she stood with her back to him and said she’s still waiting for an apology.

“You’ve sat there smugly and acted as though it’s perfectly normal to have committed your crimes,” she said. “I’m so angry. I’m angry for the hurt you caused my children. You caused them embarrassment and heartache.”

Powell, wearing a gray jail uniform, declined to speak.

Pierce County prosecutors had asked for Powell, 62, to be sentenced to 10 years. His attorneys sought zero to 12 months, saying it’s not clear exactly when Powell took the pictures, and it could have been before the state made voyeurism a ranked felony in 2006.

What a sick and twisted family. Among the images recovered from Steve Powell’s home were many of Susan Powell that appeared to have been filmed without her knowledge. Also discovered were journals in which Steve Powell detailed his obsession with Susan Powell. Steven Powell’s son, Josh Powell, killed himself and his two young sons in a February fire at a home in Graham. Josh Powell was the prime suspect in Susan Powell’s disappearance.

Former TSA Agent Michael Scott Wilson Indicted on Federal Child Porn Charges … Wheel Chair Bound Three Year Old Terrorist, Not!

41 year old former TSA agent Michael Scott Wilson has been indicted federal child porn charges. GREAT. According to court documents, the perv, oh alleged perv, was allegedly found in possession of a video, “depicting a prepubescent female engaged in masturbation and anal sex with an adult male” and Wilson was also in possession of an image of a naked teenage girl.

A former TSA agent from Baltimore County has been indicted on federal child porn charges.  Michael Scott Wilson, of Perry Hall , was previously charged in Baltimore County on charges of possession and distribution of child pornography and was scheduled for trial in April.  But court record show those charges were dropped last week.

Wilson’s attorney, Robert Bonsib, says similar charges have been filed against his client in federal court.  A records search shows that in February, the 41-year-old man was indicted on two counts of possession of child pornography in U.S. District Court.

According to court documents, Wilson was allegedly found in possession of a video, “depicting a prepubescent female engaged in masturbation and anal sex with an adult male”.  Those same documents show Wilson was also in possession of an image of a naked teenage girl.

112 People Arrested in Child Porn Ring in 22 Countries … Good Riddance to Vile Rubbish

Europol has arrested 112 pedophiles encompassing 22 countries in connection with a child pornography ring. According to reports there have been a total of 269 suspects identified. As per the AP, the nations involved in the investigation were Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Croatia, Norway and Switzerland.

Europol says 112 people have been arrested in connection with a major investigation into child pornography that stretched across 22 European countries.

The European police coordination agency says there are 269 suspects in all in the investigation, which was carried out under the leadership of Danish police. Nineteen men aged 24 to 55 years old are facing preliminary charges in Denmark.

The investigation was known as “Operation Icarus,” targeted the worst of the worst and those sharing the most extreme and vile forms of video material, which included babies and toddlers being sexually abused and raped. GOOD GRIEF, COULD THIS BE ANY MORE VILE!

The yearlong “Operation Icarus” busted previously unknown networks of child sex offenders who were sharing the child pornography via a “peer-to-peer” system, a Europol spokesman reportedly said.

So much material was seized it will take months or even years to analyze, the Irish Times reported, adding that the material had been described as the “worst of the worst.”

Martin Weiss, a 47-year-old Hollywood manager who represented child actors, was charged in Los Angeles on Dec. 1 with sexually abusing a former client. His accuser, who was under 12 years old during the time of the alleged abuse, reported to authorities that Weiss told him “what they were doing was common practice in the entertainment industry.” Weiss has pleaded not guilty.

Should it really come as a surprise to anyone how morally bankrupt and little concern about sexual abuse crimes against children really is in Hollywood when Roman Polanski was allowed to skate free on rape charges. How long has child sex abuse crimes been going on in Hollywood and why has nothing ever been done to stop the heinous crime?

A Utah man,27 year old Grant Smith, was arrested at Boston’s Logan International Airport for allegedly viewing and being in possession of child pornography. ICK!!!  According to WCVB 5, Grant Smith, an engineering professor at the University of Utah, was seated in the first class when another passenger took a cell phone pic of the perv view the child porn.

A man on a Delta Airlines flight from Utah was arrested at Boston’s Logan Airport on Saturday afternoon for allegedly viewing pornographic images of children on his laptop during the flight.

Grant Smith, 27, of Cottonwood Heights, Utah was interviewed by Massachusetts State Police just after 4 p.m. Following that interview, Smith was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography.

Occupy Chicago … Protester Robert Reitz Arrested With Child Pornography

21 year old Robert Reitz who was involved with the Occupy Chicago protests was arrested Monday for aggravated child pornography. Get this, Reitz’s involvement with the Occupy crazies was with security. WOW, DON’T YOU ALL FEEL SAFE? Doesn’t this pretty much sum up the entire movement.

A man involved with the “Occupy Chicago” movement has been charged with child pornography.

Robert Reitz, 21, of the 2000 block of South Canalport Avenue, was arrested Monday in the 100 block of West Quincy Street for an active warrant for aggravated child pornography, police said. He is being held without bond, according to the Cook County Sheriff’s office.

At the time of his arrest Reitz said he was involved with security for Occupy Chicago — a claim that was denied by protest organizers.

Reitz was arrested after officers smelled burnt cannabis and approached to investigate. Officers did a name check and learned he was wanted for a probation violation by the sheriff’s police.

In a statement Wednesday morning, Occupy Chicago said, “We are an open movement, without a vetting system for our participants. Our community is based on trust. It is to be expected that the problems of society at large are sometimes present in our movement.

Oh contraire Occupy folks, when you put some one in charge of security, you better be vetting them. Isn’t this just like people who will whine about others, yet fail to have their own house in order.  Don’t worry thought, the Occupy has finally set their standard at child pornographer. I guess Jerry Sandusky would not be welcome either.
