26 year old Christina “Pinky” Mordente is missing in Missouri City, TX. Christina, also known as ‘Pinky”, is a developmentally disabled woman has the mental capacity of a young teenager as she suffers from Aspberger’s Syndrome, a form of autism.According to reports, Christina wandered away from her group home Sunday evening. The family says that she is not dressed for the cold weather. She is also in need of her medications.

The 26-year-old’s family is desperate to find her. When she wandered away from her family’s home in the 1600 block of Thornbrook Drive Sunday evening, they say she was not dressed for the weather.

Christina has brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5’6″ to 5’7″ and weighs about 160 pounds. When last seen she was wearing a lime green jacket, blue jeans and pink prescription glasses and she was wearing her hair in a pony tail.

UPDATE I: Police broaden the search for missing Christina Mordente.

More than two dozen searchers descended Monday on the Hunters Glen 1 and 2 subdivisions to locate Christina Mordente, 26, who suffers from Asperger’s Syndrome and is in need of medication, Missouri City police Capt. John Bailey said. Mordente wandered away from her family’s home in the 1600 block of Thornbrook shortly before 6 p.m. Sunday.

The search on Monday focused on the Hunters 1 and 2 subdivisions, which are surrounded by water. “There’s not a lot of water in it (bayou), but there’s lots of mud where someone could fall and get stuck,” he said.

Searchers also are zeroing in on Buffalo Run Park at the northern end of the search area, which has several lakes with “extremely deep” water, he said.

The search party includes five Missouri City police detectives and two sergeants, on foot and using four all-terrain vehicles. Officials from Chasing4Life also are assisting in the search.
