CHANGE YOU CAN BELIEVE IN … The US National Debt topped the $12 trillion mark yesterday. That’s 12 trillion with a “T”. It is another record high for the debt and another crowning jewel for Obamanomics.

This latest milestone in the ever-rising journey of the National Debt comes less than eight months after it hit $11 trillion for the first time. The latest high-point is not unexpected, considering the federal deficit for the just-ended 2009 fiscal year hit an all-time high at $1.42-trillion – more than triple the previous year’s record high.

Much of the increase in the deficit and debt is attributed to government spending outpacing revenue – both exacerbated by the recession and the government response to it – including hundreds of billions in bailouts and stimulus spending and tax cuts along with decreased tax revenues due to rising unemployment.

How is that “Hope & Change” looking now America? US National debt now at a record high over $12 trillion … that’s $38,974.34 for every man, woman and child in America.

After all his promises, after all his teleprompter speeches, after all his talk of change, Barack Hussein Obama is nothing more that a super-sized tax and spend liberal. Make that socialist.

An Inconvenient Health Care Cost Truth …

Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and the rest of their minions and state run media have said from the beginning that Obamacare healthcare reform would lower health care costs. They also claimed that slashing $500 billion from Medicare would have no effect on seniors. Oh contraire … Seniors and those concerned with rising health care costs, be very afraid.

It won’t cost trillions of dollars and it will reduce costs

However, from CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) comes this “Inconvenient Truth” via The Politico … the legislation the House passed last week would increase costs over the next decade by $289 billion. By 2019, health costs would rise to 21.1 percent of GDP compared to 20.8 under current law. (pdf report HERE)

With the exception of the proposed reductions in Medicare payment updates for institutional providers, the provisions of H.R. 3962 would not have a significant impact on future health care cost growth rates. In addition, the longer-term viability of the Medicare update reductions is doubtful,” the report said.

It will lower costs, not raise them and I am not taking money from seniors, really

In other words, outside of Medicare payment cuts to hospitals, the bill doesn’t curb increasing health care costs. And even the Medicare payment cuts will be difficult to sustain.

The analysis is more bad news for Democrats, who are facing increasing criticism that their reforms don’t do enough to control costs. Republicans released the analysis and jumped on the news.

It would appear that Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama have an Inconvenient Truth of their own … wellness programs cost more than treating the disease. This analysis is from a longstanding independent technical advisor to the Executive Branch and Congress. But I supposed they will be demonized and called a racist for providing bad news against Obama’s healthcare reform policy.

Barack Obama won the Independent vote 52% to 44% over McCain; however, Obama would be hard pressed to get any where near that Independent vote at the present. In the end, Obama by the numbers is poor all the way around.

The economy is the single most important issue to the American public, yet Obama’s answers have done nothing but drive up the federal deficits to record levels, increase unemployment to over 10% and promise nothing but future taxes. 45% of American voters rate Obama’s performance with the economy as poor.  Little by little, the longer Obama is in office, the more “We the People” do not want to hear that it’s GWB’s fault. Obama owns the economy and it is his to fix. That is why he became President. Ultimately, The buck stops with Obama and the childish blame game must come to an end. Man up, or get out.

The WSJ article suggests that with dipping poll numbers and an increasing unemployment number, that Obama would be wise to shift right. However, Obama continues to ignore the will of the people as he forces through his far left agenda in spite of slipping polls.

What President, what Congressman, what political party would do this to children and future generations? Who in good conscience would inflict a $1.3 trillion debt on the people in the midst of a recession with over 10% unemployment?

The passage by Nancy Pelosi and the House of Representatives of the latest version of the governments take over of health care in an attempt to control “We the People” not only is a slap in the face of personal liberties provided by the US Constitution, but also places a debt beyond comprehension to future generations. What happened to our civil liberties?

In the process of sacrificing the freedoms of our Country, the Radical Reformers are scrambling to rip apart the vision the Constitution provides for us. How could a government place such a burden upon its people while forcing them to buy their insurance or fear fines and jail time. This is the same Obama government that refuses to imprison illegals, yet would arrest their own citizens for lack of government controlled insurance?

Even though only 29% of American voters would advise their Congressman to vote for Obamacare, Nancy Pelosi and the left wing radicals in the House did so any ways ramming a world of future debt down the throats of future generations, let alone a bad piece of legislation.  In the end, the vote could hardly be considered bi-partisan as only one RINO voted for Obamacare, the Pelosi edition, while 39 Democrats voted against it.

The cost of this healthcare bill will not only be the destruction of private insurance in the United States and enslaving Americans to a government run and controlled option, but the $1.3 trillion mountain of debt that future generations will never be able to pay off. However, since when does the government ever get the cost of any program correct. Just look at the projected costs of Medicare.

CT Senator Joe Lieberman put it best when he said that he would filibuster the bill and never let it come to a final vote because the cost and debt would create a worse problem than any perceived health care issue.

“The public option plan is unnecessary. It has been put forward I am convinced by people who really want the government to take over all of health insurance.”

Worse than that, we have a problem that is even greater than the health care problem and that is the debt.

“If the public option plan is in there, as a matter of conscience, I will not allow this bill to come to a final vote…

The fact of the matter is that Obamacare will not cut costs, it will not improve insurance, it will not cover all the so-called uninsureds  … but it will cost future generations trillions of dollars for years to come. Obamacare will raise taxes on anything moving. How else does anyone really think this will be paid for?

Democrat Polling Numbers … P. YOU! The PEW Research finds that there is an anti-incumbent sentiment heading into the 2010 midterm elections and Obama continues to flounder on pretty much every issue. This coupled with a recent Gallup poll can only spell trouble for Democrats in 2010.

The mood of America is glum. Two-thirds of the public is dissatisfied with the way things are going in the country. Fully nine-in-ten say that national economic conditions are only fair or poor, and nearly two-thirds describe their own finances that way – the most since the summer of 1992. An increasing proportion of Americans say that the war in Afghanistan is not going well, and a plurality continues to oppose the health care reform proposals in Congress.

As Democrat polling numbers continue to slide, what can be looked at as a contributing factor? Can you say Obamacare and the fact that not just Republicans are against it, but many Independents as well. As stated at Hot Air from the polling data from the PEW poll, Among independents who say they support the Republican in their district, 56 percent are excited to vote next year; among indies who support the local Democrat, it’s 32 percent.

Barack Obama still cannot make a decision on war efforts in Afghanistan and says he wants to start from scratch, yet has no problem shoving a socialist, government take over of the healthcare system in the United States that is opposed by we the people. Obama campaigned that he would make the war in Afghanistan a primary one, yet nearly one year into his presidency he has no plan. UNBELIEVABLE!

President Barack Obama does not plan to accept any of the Afghanistan war options presented by his national security team, pushing instead for revisions to clarify how and when U.S. troops would turn over responsibility to the Afghan government, a senior administration official said Wednesday.

Obama has been asked for troops by his military commanders to win the war in Afghanistan and still this community organizer cannot make a decision.

The dangers of ineffective, indecisive and weak leadership can be expressed no better than at The Jawa Report. Not only will Obama’s lack of a decision on a direction in Afghanistan hurt the US troops, it will demoralize the Afghans who want freedom.

Please consider that not only is the US perceived as an “invader” at times. There’s another side to that coin. There are many who want freedom, who would love it. But they fear, with pretty good reason, that the US is not good for its word and will leave their ass hanging in the wind. So therefore they play the fence.

Only 29% of Voter Would Advise Their Congressman to vote for Obamacare … Down 11% from Last Month

No mandate? The polling trends show that the American people do not want Obamacare and would tell their Congressman so. More bad news for Obama, Reid and Democrats. You push this through and their will be a backlash like has never been seen.

A recent Gallup Poll may be suggesting their is no clear mandate in the health care debate; however, their was more revealing data that came from this poll that was not headlined. After all Obama’s speeches, after all the town hall meetings, after all the Tea Parties and Pelosi ramming through Obamacare along a completely liberal partisan vote in the House … a recent Gallup poll shows that only 29% of American voters would advise their Congressman to vote for Obamacare and the government take over of health care.

29%!!! That is down 11% points from just one month ago. The fact of the matter is that Obama and Democrats continue to refuse to listen to the will of the people.

Americans have moved in a more negative direction on the basic issue of whether a new bill should be passed into law. Thirty-eight percent now say they would advise their member of Congress to vote against a new healthcare bill this year, while 29% would advise their member to vote for it, and about a third have no opinion. When those with no opinion are asked which way they lean, the verdict becomes 48% “against,” and 43% “for.” Both of these results are more negative than those from early October.

Bi-Partisan? Hardly! 15% of Democrats Voted Against Pelosi’s House Obamacare … with One RINO Coa Vote

By the way, some words of wisdom and common sense to Democrats and Barack Obama regarding the partisan passage of the Pelosi health care bill that would have government take over the insurance industry, one so-called RINO vote does not a bi-partisan bill make.

A note to the Republican party and RNC Chairman Michael Steele, no you do not need turn coats like Louisiana Representative Joseph Coa. You are not special and you do not get to extort a party for your liberal support of Barack Obama on the government take over of health care. If you can’t back Republicans on the major issues, what good are you on any issue?

On ABCNews.com’s “Top Line” last week, Steele said of Republicans who support President Obama on health care or the stimulus bill: “So candidates who live in moderate to slightly liberal districts have got to walk a little bit carefully here, because you do not want to put yourself in a position where you’re crossing that line on conservative principles, fiscal principles, because we’ll come after you.”

Asked about those comments on CNN today, Cao laughed and said he “would like to remind” Steele that Republicans celebrated his election to Congress last year — in one of the most Democratic districts in the country — as a symbol of GOP diversity.
