Obama White House Says, It’s Fair to Say We Were Wrong on Paris Unity Rally … WH Caught with Its Pants Down or Purposeful Decision?

Sorry Barack Obama, this is a little bigger than, oh sorry, my bad.

The Obama administration is in full spin CYA mode in the wake of the outrage of U.S President failing to attend the “Unity” march with numerous other world leaders as he opted to stay home instead and watch football. Quick, get the PR machine out there to lie to the media and people. White House spokesman Josh Earnest did his best to spin his way through the disastrous visuals and symbolism of Barack Obama or any other high level US leader being present for the march against radical Islam. White House spokesman Earnest said, “It’s fair to say we should have sent someone with a higher profile to be there.” What ever do you mean, you mean sending no one of any importance what-so-ever was wrong? None of you could have figured this out in advance? Sorry, but that is BS. Obama told us all in the past that Bin Laden was dead and terrorism was on the run. To suddenly acknowledge that France just had their own 9-11 moment would go against Obama’s down playing of terrorism.

Barack Obama could not be reached for comment he was too busy

The White House said Monday that it made a mistake in not sending President Obama or a top administration official to the weekend unity march in Paris, a rare concession that it had botched the optics of an important international event.

“It’s fair to say we should have sent someone with a higher profile to be there,” White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters at his briefing, which was dominated by questions about the march.

“We want to send a clear message, even in a symbolic context like this one, that the American people stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our allies in France,” said Earnest. “And sending a high-level, highly visible senior administration official with a high profile to that march would have done that.”

He dodged questions about who was responsible for the decision to have the U.S. be represented by the U.S. ambassador to France, saying only that it was a staff-level call the president was not personally involved in.

So, some how Barack Obama and his minions could see the importance of sending people to Ferguson, Missouri and to the funeral of an individual who robbed a store and assaulted a police officer, but they could not see the importance of supporting one of America’s greatest allies in France and 40 world leaders coming together in a show of solidarity against radical Islam.

UPDATE I: The Politico – White House was out of step as Paris march grew.

The JV Presidency.

Wait, White House aides said Sunday, as they saw coverage come in of the anti-terrorism march in Paris — Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko is there? Jordan’s King Abdullah? The presidents of Gabon, Benin, Niger? Not to mention the leaders of the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Italy and other major allies — and even Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov?

Somehow an event that the French didn’t even announce until Friday had quickly gathered momentum, drawing about three dozen foreign leaders to Paris to express their outrage at the killings of French citizens at a satire magazine and a Jewish supermarket last week. America’s representative, Ambassador Jane Hartley, looked a little out of place.

White House aides were so caught off guard by the march’s massive size and attention that they hadn’t even asked President Barack Obama if he wanted to go.

Barack Obama Says He Does Not Need Congress To Wage War on ISIS

WELCOME TO OBAMA IN WONDERLAND …

The tin-pot dictator Barack Obama told Congressional leaders he does not need their vote to wage war against ISIS. Isn’t that rich. Even when so many are on board with collectively annihilating ISIS and it is Obama who has been pulled into this kicking and screaming, the president took the opportunity to do what he does best, be negative and divisive. With the polls showing that an overwhelming majority think that Obama has been to lax in dealing with ISIL ISIS and want more action taken against the terror group. So why no vote? Isn’t this the same president who for 6 years has been bitching and moaning about no bipartisanship in Washington? Is this a matter of Obama wanting to go it alone because he is a narcissist, is it because he does not want to show the optic ever of Democrats and the GOP coming together on any issue, or is it because he does not want liberal Democrats to have to vote for war ahead of the 2014 midterms and upset their radical left-wing base?

This is what happens when you have a president that does everything with a political taint to it, rather than what is best for America.

President Obama told congressional leaders at a White House meeting on Tuesday he doesn’t need their authorization to expand his military campaign against Islamic terrorists.

The president offered the assurance one day before a prime-time address he’s scheduled to give to the nation.

The president is also weighing the possibility of airstrikes against ISIS targets in Syria, as well as asking the United Nations to pass a binding resolution requiring governments to prevent the flow of foreign fighters to the region.

While Obama told the House and Senate leaders he would welcome congressional action that demonstrates a unified front, the president told the bipartisan group “he has the authority he needs to take action against (ISIS) in accordance with the mission he will lay out in his address,” according to the White House.

Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have called on Obama to better clarify his strategy this week, and the White House has said the president will offer a frank “assessment of this critical national security priority.”

White House press secretary Josh Earnest cautioned that the address would not provide a timeline for the military campaign, nor was Obama expected to outline costs for the operation.

Mitch McConnell leads push for ISIL vote:

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is emerging as the most outspoken congressional leader pushing for a vote on President Barack Obama’s plan to take on the Islamic State, even as the White House insists the president already has authority to take on the militant group.

On Tuesday, McConnell aggressively called on Obama to back a vote in Congress on his military strategy before the November elections, which will pit the GOP leader against Democrat Alison Lundergan Grimes in a pivotal race that could determine control of the Senate.

“He really ought to ask for our support, whether or not he may think he’s authorized to do what he intends to do. I think it’s in his best interest,” McConnell told a reporter.

And Democratic leaders are also trying to stay out of the fray, though some rank-and-file Democrats in the Senate are agitating for a roll call on continued airstrikes in Iraq or an expansion into Syria.

FLASHBACK 2007 … However, that was not always the case. The Gateway Pundit reminds us of Obama, in his own words, criticizing GWB in 2007 for actually going to Congress and getting approval as opposed to Obama who says he does not need Congress to wage for on ISIS. HUH? Bush followed the War Powers Ac in Iraq and that is not good enough for then, Senator Obama. My how times have changed. Hear Obama criticize how the president, Congress and the MSM have failed the American people. Did he just say that the MSM reported spin instead of facts? Seriously?

Sarah Palin’s Challenge to the WAPO to Engage in the Same Aggressive Investigative Journalism as They Did with Richard Nixon and Watergate

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin challenges the Washington Post to cover Obama’s proclamation that absolutely no wrongdoing occurred at the IRS, “not even a smidgen,” in the same manner that they did in their tireless and aggressive manner they did President Richard Nixon and the Watergate scandal.

Sorry, I am not sure if MSM, integrity and good journalism can be used in the same sentence anymore.

Sarah Palin’s Facebook Challenge to the Washington Post:

To reclaim your credibility (and the mainstream media’s, at large), I challenge you to engage in the same aggressive investigative journalism you courageously employed 42 years ago covering President Nixon. The public knows of our current president’s incompetence, denials, and cover-ups, but would be well served if we could count on your resources to dig deep for truth in all matters pertaining to Team Obama.

One example: your reporters kept tracking an obscure break-in story and that led to revealing a grave problem in the White House. The Washington Post’s reputation soared as the model of good journalism. Today, you’ve fallen like a lead balloon. Whereas you once doggedly covered the 18.5 minute gap in Nixon’s White House communications, you’ve virtually ignored the Obama Administration’s 1.2 million minutes of deleted communications by just one of the agencies under Obama’s executive branch. I’m speaking of the Lois Lerner IRS harassment-of-conservatives scandal wherein Lerner “lost” pertinent email communications. You’ve allowed Obama to skate with his proclamation that absolutely no wrongdoing occurred at the IRS, “not even a smidgen.”

The list of Obama abuses and impeachable offenses is long. I challenge you to lift a finger and help protect democracy, allow justice for all, and ensure domestic tranquility by doing your job reporting current corrupt events fairly. If not, you prove yourselves incompetent and in bed with Obama, not caring one iota about media integrity.

Those running the Washington Post’s show now, compared to those during the Nixon era, are too afraid of being uninvited to the permanent political class’ cocktail parties and petty gossip fests, making you all a bunch of wusses. I challenge you to get to work.

If President Barack Obama Has Already Checked Out of his Job … Can we Just Have Him Leave Early?

Does Barack Obama even care anymore?

The Daily Telegraph opines that President Barack Obama has already checked out of his job. Matt K Lewis, a senior contributor at The Daily Caller, writes that “The degree to which Barack Obama is now phoning it in – sleepwalking perfunctorily through his second term, amid golf rounds and dinner parties – is astonishing.” If it was not bad enough during Obama’s first term with his over-usage of greens and fairways as other more important issues were taking place, the One’s second term has been even worse. Rome is burning and Nero Obama is shamefully playing golf and going to fund raisers. If Obama does not care anymore and has checked out, as witnessed by his actions or lack of action … can he just do us all a favor and leave the White House early? I am sure many would not mind, including Democrats.

And based on his recent handling of situations much more serious than a possible post-presidential move to sunny California, it seems as if “No Drama Obama” is no longer even worried about keeping up appearances; he doesn’t care enough to fake it.

Consider this: In recent days, a) Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 was shot down, apparently by Russian separatists in Ukraine, b) In the Gaza strip, the numbers killed continued to mount as Israelis and Palestinians exchange rocket fire, c) a huge influx of children fleeing Central American poverty and gang warfare swamped America’s southern border, creating a humanitarian crisis. And, oh yeah, d) Christians living in Mosul were given the choice to either convert to Islam or flee the area they have inhabited for nearly two thousand years.

You know what else has happened during this time? a) Obama played many rounds of golf, b) he attended numerous fund-raisers, c) he dined on barbecue in Texas and burgers in Delaware, and d) he almost appeared on the comedian Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night television show in Hollywood.

I say “almost” because the White House finally relented. “We ultimately elected not to have the president do that interview over the course of this trip,” the White House press secretary, Josh Earnest, conceded. “And that is at least in part related to the challenges of doing a comedy show in the midst of some of these other more serious matters that the president’s dealing with in the international scene.”

Previously Judge Jeanine Pirro blasted Barack Obama for his apathy on crucial current events and told him, “It’s Time to Get Your ‘Big Boy Pants On’ & Stop Kidding Around.”

Also, Sean Hanity offered up a blistering  monologue telling Barack Obama, ‘It’s Time for a Wake-Up Call’ … “It Is Time for You to Get Engaged.”

UNBELIEVABLE … After 23 Americans Are Killed in Malaysia Flight MH17 Missile Terrorist Attack, Barack Obama Goes Fundraising in NYC … John McCain Says Obama Is AWOL on Ukraine

THERE IS A REASON WHY OBAMA IS CALLED THE “CAMPAIGNER” IN CHIEF …

Good grief, what is wrong with this president, has he no shame? After 23 Americans are believed to have been killed when Malaysia Flight MH17 from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur was shot down by a surface to air missile by Russian separatists over Ukraine airspace, Barack Obama attended two fundraisers in New York City. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! How detached could one individual possibly be when Americans civilians are killed by an act of war/terrorism and a sitting president just goes about his merry way and attends a fundraiser? Sorry, but there is something seriously wrong with Obama that anyone would think that it was okay to do so. All Americans should be sickened by his actions.

TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT THE PICS OF THE DEATH AND CARNAGE AND COMPARE THAT TO OBAMA GOING OFF TO FUNDRAISERS AS IF NOTHING HAPPENED. SICK, JUST SICK!!!

Sen. John McCain appeared on Hannity last night and said,  “I don’t understand this president. The crisis on the border. He did the fundraisers, the fundraisers in New York while they’re major conflicts, not to mention the loss of American lives. It was reported there were Americans on the airplane. I do not understand it … This is just what we used to call in the military A-W-O-L.”

John McCain: Obama Is AWOL on Ukraine

Republicans are assailing President Obama’s decision to attend two fundraisers in New York City Thursday night after 295 people perished when a Malaysian passenger jet crashed in Ukraine after an apparent rocket attack and Israel launched a ground war in Gaza the same day.

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus took to Twitter to launch a broadside against Obama for going through with the fundraisers benefiting House and Senate Democrats.

“With all that is going on, the last thing the President should be doing is fundraising right now. Now is a time for leadership,” Priebus tweeted.

Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., was far harsher in his assessment.

“I don’t understand this president … this is what we used to call in the military A-W-O-L,” McCain told Fox News Thursday night. “… There’s a direct lost of American lives here and the president goes to a fundraiser? Help me out.”

Twenty-three Americans are believed to have died in the crash, although U.S. authorities have yet to confirm those numbers.

Barack Obama is no leader. If he had any respect for the United States of America, he would just step down from office for the sake of America. But that will never happen, because Obama is a “community agitator” and his every action is meant to divide and destroy the America that we knew. Sorry, but Obama would have gone fund raising on 9-12-2001.
