Missing 67 Year Old Cheryl Spengler Belived to be Body Found in Burned Home Set by Ex-con Gunman William Spengler

The death toll has rose to three in the heinous, murderous acts of 62 year old William Spengler ... “do what I like doing best, killing people.” Before anyone starts railing on gun control, maybe some one would like to tell me how some one beats their grandmother to death with a hammer and gets manslaughter?

The body found in the burned remains of the house set on fire to lure fireman to the location is believed to be 67 year old Cheryl Spengler, the sister of the ex-con and murderous gunman, William Spengler, who shot two fireman in an ambush. Ex-con William Spengler, 62, who served 17 years in prison for manslaughter in the 1980 hammer slaying of his grandmother. Human remains were found at the shooter’s house, 191 Lake Road, that they believed were of Ms. Spengler.

William Spengler, 62, who served 17 years in prison for manslaughter in the 1980 hammer slaying of his grandmother, set his house afire before dawn Christmas Eve before taking a revolver, a shotgun and a semiautomatic rifle to a sniper position outside, Police Chief Gerald Pickering said.

The death toll rose to three as police revealed that a body believed to be the killer’s 67-year-old sister, Cheryl Spengler, was found in the rubble of his fire-ravaged home.

How did this guy only get charged with manslaughter for the beating death with a hammer of his grandmother? Talk about your lazy prosecutions.  How was he paroled? When you have a guy who says, “I do what I like doing best, killing people,” that is hardly words of one you want out amongst the population.
