Reading this made me cry!! I was just thinking of Natalee earlier today!! As you said “It only takes one hero”, from me “Please send this baby home to her parents”.

    2. Carpe on May 30th, 2008 8:12 am

Put the hate aside, and bring our Natalee home where she is loved by her family and friends!

…and also, her much larger worldwide family that love and worship her so much now.

      >Make like a tennis shoe today, brudda…

      and JUST DO IT.

      She needs to come home.

My thoughts with Natalee and her family.

Off topic – Does anyone know what is going on with the Kalpoe vs Dr. Phil case? It seems that this has slid off into the abyss.

Anyone have updates? Upcoming court dates? etc.?

Now it’s “the kind people of Aruba” while all this time they are insulted, called names, yelled at by a lot of monkeys here….

      how opportunistic of you

allthough I hope this letter is effective of course.

An excellent letter. There are good and bad people in every country. “Justice for wrongdoing (is) an essential element of civilization.” Well put.

Jossy Mansur has been an advocate for the family of Natalee Holloway since day one in their contention that a corrupt Aruban investigation was preventing justice from prevailing.

HOLLOWAY: Jossy has been very helpful to try to find the truth, the fact he lives in Aruba and publishes a newspaper, they’re attacking him because he’s looking for– fighting for– the truth. That’s what a good journalist does–He’s going to go after the people, regardless, and try to find the truth.

Very well written and also very touching.
On a different note, the Washington Red Skin Cheerleaders are here on the island. I hope all goes well with them and they will have a safe time while on the island. They are very young and they are big time party girls. I have seen them around the last couple of nights.

Couldn’t get on this thread before, for some reason. Letter is very well done and very effective. I don’t know if the offer of a reward for Natalee’s return, or for information leading to her recovery, is still out there. Like everyone else, I hope that this might move some hearts on Aruba.

Thanks to Jossy Mansur for running this. I also hope that he is working on the effort that he promised me he would undertake … raising funds in Aruba to allow the Persistence to return and to complete its search.

Is Tim Miller still in Aruba on his searches? If so, perhaps he can remind people there that his own search remains incomplete. Of all people on earth, the Arubans should want his efforts to be completed. Let’s hope they help him out.

MD (#3) … I’ve been told that each side to the suit, the Dr. Phil show and the Kalpoes, continues legal maneuvering and that sort of thing. Nothing more, so far as I know.

I can’t help but be concerned in regards to Nelson Oduber’s reaction. Pray for the one publication in Aruba and it’s editor who willing to take a stand for the freedom of expression … a right afforded to every Aruban citizen under Dutch law.

Amigoe, April 4, 2007: Diario turns to Queen

ORANJESTAD – In an open letter, staff and management of the morning paper Diario have asked the Queen’s attention for the commercial boycott called by the MEP and her leader, Prime Minister Nelson Oduber.

MEP demanded the owner and also director and chief editor Jossy Mansur to publicly apologize to MEP and premier Oduber for all the articles he has published with the intention to damage the reputation of the government and MEP. Mansur has till last Monday to do this, otherwise, the MEP will announce a boycott against Diario.

Since Mansur ignored MEP’s ultimatum, the party decided on a total boycott of the newspaper. No information must be given to Diario. MEP-member had to cancel their subscription as per immediate.. They are also not allowed to buy the paper separately. They cannot place ads in the Diario That’s the reason for Diario’s letter to the Queen. He expressed his concern in this letter and asks the Queen to ’safeguard our constitutional rights’.

Amigoe, June 29, 2007: Oduber looses case against Diario

“I have lost enough time in this case already. It has become clear to me that everybody can publish anything they want about the government, and not be prosecuted. We have actually been outlawed.”

As always a big thank you to Jossy and Diario, ever Natalee’s supporters.

      20. I think he (Jossy) is a good man looking for the truth. He will not let them push him around. This is his home and is probably sick of the corruption that happens every day on such a large scale on such a small island. It happens here in the states, but at least its in check with the freedom’s that we enjoy when people report it. I think the judges and some policemen will fall along with the main suspects, if the Dutch will get on with it.

God Bless everyone that has supported us. I ask some of you too not let hate fill your hearts. Just let God be in charge of any revenge. But the suspects still need to face the laws of the land and pay for any crimes committed.

When it comes to protection for our children, you are either part of the solution or part of the problem. There is no room for middle ground. This website and many of the Monkeys have dedicated their time to keeping this boycott going strong… for the innocent ones… ALL of them. I have always prayed that Aruba would solve this problem, themselves, rising above the hate to the reality that this was just one girl, but she could have been your girl, as she has become like a daughter, sister and friend to all of us. Three years is much too long to wait to hold your child in your arms. It’s too long to wait to know that she is safe and sound. It’s way too long to wait for her return.

I know there are heros in Aruba. Many come and blog with us and it is not long before we both realize that there are no differences in the needs of one race over the other. We have become friends.

I, too, pray for that ‘one’ special person to come along and put an end to the wait, allow the boycott to be lifted and allow us all to heal. I am as concerned about the future of Aruba as anyone, but have always felt that the safety of our children and our citizens is of the utmost importance. I continue to pray for the liberty of Aruba that will come when all those responsible for Natalee’s disappearance, as well as those responsible for the cover-up is removed… never allowed to bend the law in favor of their friends and collegues, while others are left to fight a system that is stacked against them. I am of the opinion that justice for Natalee will, eventually, lead to Liberty for the island of Aruba.

      Let Freedom Ring…

    29. da_wench on May 30th, 2008 1:13 pm

I still get choked up over this. I’ve cussed, yelled, stomped my feet, written venemous posts and have wanted to scratch the eyes out of several people involved in Natalee’s disappearance and obvious cover-up. Seeing Natalee’s picture and being reminded of what has happened…and what has not happened still brings tears to my eyes.

I hope that someone in Aruba grows a conscience and comes forward with some evidence that cannot be intercepted and made to disappear by the conspirators.

how tragic that the kalpoes have got the ODASITY… to sue for a crime they were deeply a part dare they try to prosper for a crime they helped commit is outragious..

they have admitted to being there… how can in clear concious be so so so cold ..COLD COLD HEARTED…

and worse yet .. the sloot’s and their arrogant attitudes… THEY KNOW ..that their son commited this crime..100% sure…. and thats the sickening part they are …pure evil…selfish

thinking only of themselves knowing that they have their son. at all costs…

..a son out of jail and on the run to live his life and continue in the path..of self distruction….

they have enabled him.from a young age when he threw tantrums they gave in to him….

. horrible parents…. a father that was in on it from the begining… lying and paying people off… and in some cases threats and intimidation to witnesses… god help them… they have done a great injustice to many even to joran himself……. they have no respect no credebility… they buy people with their money…they buy special favors…
how sickening that aruban authorities are in the pockets of many criminals of aruba… paid to look the other way…

the people of aruba have suffered because of pauulus and joran and the kalpoes and many thers that helped in the cover up….

Great letter…and as the letter states, of course there ARE good and kind people on Aruba, but those in the know are most likely fearful to come forward. It was a good thought to put in the number for the tip line, and IF the FBI received pertinent information, it won’t get lost in the shuffle as things are prone to do with the Aruba ALE.

It just can’t be 3 years can it?
But it is; a lot has happened and still we are no closer to finding Natalee nor having those guilty prosecuted.
Yes Aruba has covered it’s dirty deeds well…..for today anyway.
Let us continue to be Natalee’s voice as we search for her and answers.
As 10061906 I said we should have started boycotts against Dutch products and Dutch companies doing business in the United States.
Companies such as Unilever, Shell Oil, ING, Phillips and others. We played a wait and see game with Hans Mos and lost. Do we have anything to lose now?
My committment is to help find Natalee and bring her home. The guilty will be find out in time.
Yes; fear has frozen the mouths of the guilty. Perhaps an economic boycott of the Dutch products will help loosen their tongues.
It will take time but Natalee will prevail.
Natalee is not forgotten…….We here will not let that happen.

I get so disappointed with our government, and the “paper tiger” they have let our country become. In years past, traveling under an American passport was a guarantee of safety anywhere in the world, and if anything happened, severe repercussions would follow. Now, traveling out of the U.S., with an American passport, is almost a guarantee if trouble erupts, you’ll be the first “thrown under the bus”. An American girl, on a supposedly crime free island in the Caribbean, should have been safe, and since she “disappeared” (we all know in our hearts Natalee is no more), heads should have rolled…especially in that little penny ante pile of sand! If we can’t take them on, who can we take on?

    53. always 1 on May 31st, 2008 12:55 pm

Its graduation time again and the kids are going to be wanting to go off on a trip like Natalee did. Why did this get to be a rite of passage? Im not that old but a “date” when I was 17 consisted of going to the drive in with the neighbor boys and your sisters and sitting out in chairs. And no, you cant wear short!! There is such a short perios you bring home that little bundle until the time they go off to college. If you have instilled good values in them, they are lost. If you teen insists on going on a trip like this, liste to Garth Brooks song “The Dance”. Still thinking about letting them go, listen to Harry Chapins “Cats In the Crade” and if that doesnt convince you, look at the pictures of Nats mom.

Thanks you for the letter and the show of support. God bless everyone of you. God has a plan for each one of us and wants us to listen to Him for what it is. He loves us greatly, more than we can understand. Jesus the Son of God shown so much love for us that He died in our place. Sin brings death and eternal separation from God. Now!! we can be heard in the throne room of Heaven with our prayers. (Lord God bring a close to this soon)

Have I sinned concerning what they did to Natalee…You bet. I have to ask forgiveness for sins and at the same time and just as hard, to forgive the one’s that made this happen. Its all in GOD’s hands and He will bring justice in His timing.

Christ’s return is not far away….(I don’t know when) but the signs are becoming clearer. We are told to watch for His comming. When He comes, Natalee will be with Him and the other saints in His Glory. The dead in Christ will rise first and we that are living will be caught up in the air to meet the Lord. Yes this is from the bible. We will have a big (get together) in Heaven. Who doesn’t like a banquet with the people you love!

If this life is all we have…then we are doomed. Why live it? I will tell you give glory to God, to do His (will) while on earth. TO help each other, just as all of you HAVE by supporting our family in this terrible time of our life. The devil gave us a black eye, but we have hope…WE WILL live life the way GOD would have us to live. To love people when we don’t want too. To give of our self’s and forgive each other.

Just one more thing and I will stop preaching. Pick up a bible and read in the new testament the book of John. Its all about God and who He is. Just do that for me. If it changed your mind…let me know, because I don’t want anyone that has shown so much love to our family to perish. Thank you for listening with all of my heart. Steve Holloway

      You Got It!

We are living in the ‘last days’

      The rise of Babylon

      and her ultimate destruction

shall mean the beginning of the end.

      And Natalee will be there,

      with Him,

      to Judge our Hearts.

The Bible says that some will

      curse their God…

      Loving and kind,

      she will be there

      looking for the ‘good’

      in people.

What a wonderful provision our God

has made that we will be judged

      by our own kind…

The ones that know what it’s like to be

      surrounded by evil,

      but still holding on.

Natalee has touched so many hearts already,

      and she’s only just begun!

      Justice for Natalee

      and ALL the Others!

      Angels, every single one.

      Dear Steve,

I’m deeply moved to tears by your heartfelt letter and I too, am a believer in Jesus Christ as my personal Lord & Savior… and I too have joined many in prayer for your Natalee to be returned to you, while here on earth ~ and for you and your family to have answers…

I’m truly saddened by your loss and my spirit has grieved along with you and many others, who’ve followed your very public life’s experience.. bless you…my deepest heartfelt condolences.

Thanks Steve, for sharing hope, for sharing LOVE and encouraging all of us tonight…you are an inspiration and a caring soul… may you, Beth and your family feel the love, the prayers and support being sent your way through these very painful years… that we can not truly understand, however, we care…

May God through His Holy Spirit, stir in the heart of the one, who knows what happened to your daughter to come forward and give answers.

All those who believe, we know, she’s in the hands of our Lord, Jesus, and that is very comforting…

You truly put it all in perspective and this sister in Christ thanks you for caring enough about us, to share your heart, and more importantly, share how simple it truly is to ask God to forgive us of our sins.

HE never wastes our pain or suffering. Many here, are being encouraged and loved by you and your sharing openly of your suffering ~

It really truly is that simple… He loved US so much, He died for US?.. US? All we have to do is confess, ask forgiveness and we are saved by His Grace, through Faith… FAITH…

God Bless you and your family ~ continued peace ~ many hugs and much love in Him ~

the book of Hebrews in the New Testament shares about Hero’s of the FAITH…

we need to continue to pray for that one who knows all about your dear Natalee … to be a “hero”… make that leap of faith and make that call to the FBI…

They truly will not be free’d of their sin(s), will forever live in turmoil and eternal unrest until they come to Jesus Christ, through Faith and confess ~ it’s all about GRACE…

the hymn, Amazing Grace… comes to mind…

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, that SAVED a wretch like me… I once was lost, but now am found, was blind, but now I see… Through many dangers, toils and snares, I have already come…there’s no less days to sing Gods praise, than when we first begun…

The author and composer of that hymn ~ was once a slave runner, he realized his EVIL wrong doing and asked the Lord’s forgiveness… confessed, and is now free… imagine, that hymn coming out of that autrocity that he did to others?

It’s one of the most sung and beautiful hymns known…

      He’s free…

      FROM NBC13 – Birmingham, AL

Third Anniversary Of Natalee Holloway’s Disappearance

      Friday, May 30, 2008

MOUNTAIN BROOK, Ala. — Charlotte Botsford is a Mountain Brook youth pastor.

She said Natalee Holloway’s senior trip disappearance has forced parents to scale down the annual tradition.

“From what I can tell it has changed significantly. A lot of students are going to the beach or the lake and they are taking a lot parents with them,” Botsford recalled.

Today we reached Holloway’s father by phone at his Meridian, Mississippi office.

He said the last three years have felt like a heartbreaking dream which won’t end.

“I never would have thought that we would be here three years later talking about it and we’re really not any further along than we were in the first few weeks,” Holloway remembered.

Holloway does have hope that recent sonar searches off the Aruban coast could solve the mystery.

Meanwhile back in Mountain Brook, today’s anniversary came as a surprise to two women at the English Village.

“Oh wow, it has been three years. Three years exactly. She and I were in classes together when I was in Mountain Brook. It was a complete shock, but i didn’t realize it had been exactly three years,” Holloway classmate Katherine Ford said.

Ford remembered the day she saw her classmate’s picture on the news and said ever since she decided to reinforce her self-awareness.

“You have to vigilant at all times especially as a woman it’s very important, be cautious in the world we’re in. No place is perfectly safe. Not even Mountain Brook,” Ford pointed out.

Dave Holloway said ocean floor sonar searches off the coast of Aruba found about 170 targets.

Due to bad weather and technological limitations, they were only able to examine a handful of those targets.

Holloway hopes to resume the searches as soon as possible.

      Susan – #69:

That’s great news. I, for one, am supportive of Dave Holloway and the private donors that have made it possible to locate those markers. I am taken back by his continued enthusiasm. He, truly, is a man of God with an undying faith.

God Bless the Holloways, their loved ones and friends.

The New Moon, this year is June 6 at 10:55 pm, I believe. There will be another celebration. I pray that someone will film it and send it to us. Then comes St. Johns Day where the skies of Aruba will be filled with smoke, as they make burnt offerings to their gods for atonement of sin.

There has to be, atleast, one brave soul who’s stomach turns at seeing a human being slain. There has to be, atleast, one person who’s conscience is telling him what they’re doing is bad. That’s the hero I want to meet. The one that will slay the dragon, thus, put an end to the suffering. God bless Aruba and give it love and compassion as that is the only way to bring closure for this family, this nation and the island of Aruba. Give them the strength to act upon their own human instincts to love and care for one another.

    76. Steve Holloway on June 1st, 2008 1:09 pm

To #67, Kitty please know that Dave Holloway is the father of Natalee and Dave is my younger brother.
I have watched Natalee grow up from a baby into a young woman. She is not my daughter, but just about. I thank you for sharing with me what it meant to you what I wrote. I take it to the heart. The only thing important in this life are people, nothing else matters. God Bless you Kitty

    77. kitty on June 1st, 2008 3:49 pm

God Bless you too, Steve… you know, I was wondering who you were after I wrote, as Dave’s name came to my mind… (I was thinking it was perhaps a middle name “Steve”) and I figured, you you must be related somehow… now you’ve confirmed that…Thanks for clearing it up for me…you are such a love yourself and your letter to everyone here truly, touched us all…

You are truly a blessing ~ and an encouragement to others and I’m sure, for your brother, Dave ~ he’s appreciated your loving support…

Thank God for His love, for providing family… You & your brothers Faith, the love of family and friends has carried you all through unimaginable pain… God bless all of you…

What touched my heart was that for you to have shared your Faith, so openly, resonated within.(I tend to be more quiet with my Faith and you inspired me…to be bolder ~ my sister is…(smile) and I’m thankful that you’ve challenged all those here (as well as me)~ to look within ourselves and that you don’t want anyone to perish, but to live eternally … wow…

We can see evidence of Christ’s love, through you ~ (sigh), I’m tearing up again!… that you cared enough to share about your personal journey… about forgiveness ~ even for the evil done to your dear niece, Natalee… andto her family, to share so openly about your feelings… wow…(sigh)… you’ve done as Christ would want you to, forgive the unforgivable…replacing hate with love… and I can empathyze to a point… as I’ve not walked your shoes… however, I can understand what you’re sharing, as I’ve been ther, in a different set of circumstances…yet, I’ve through Christ was able to let go of the hate, bitterness, trusting Gods word… surrender it to HIM, as it is way too BIG… freed me from the pain and suffering, and it wasn’t for the one(s) who did the harm… oh no, it was for peace of mind, to be freed… Forgiveness is a process and only through Christ Jesus, we can forgive others, it’s all through His grace!

When the life crisis’s rock our world as we once knew it, we’re changed forever… (I now, see it for the better)…things are out of our control… (He taught me, that HE is in control, always)..those out of our control things, BIG crisis’s are the things that definately get our attention and through the suffering, and through KNOWING that He never leaves us or forsakes us, that He is with us even till the end of the age… He is always beside us, walking with us, holding us the peace that comes with that, that…He is in control, when things are so out of control… Blessed Assurance…

It’s true, that it’s our Faith, those relationships with our FAMILY and FRIENDS…and also, that fruit is brought forth through our walk with Christ…that we can minister and bless others… it’s all about the love, of Christ… His word..having a relationship with the living God…

His LOVE,His forgiveness for us sinners…it’s through His redeeming love, that I live a life for Him, and I pray, that I am a blessing to Him others…it’s all I care about… that’s about it… nothing else matters, you are so, so, insightful about that…

Thank you for writing back, and again, may you feel the love from strangers, many of us, some fellow believers who truly care about your family’s suffering ~ like Job, he never gave up his Faith, it pissed off the deviltoo, as it only made JOB stronger!… truly, it makes us stronger in the faith, and it’s only through Him, that we are strong… I LOVE psalm 121… that was a great comfort to me in my sufferings… Our Lord, is Love… it’s all about the LOVE… and may you, your brother Dave, Beth, family and friends, know that we share in your heartache ~ and care… and more importantly, I too, would not want anyone to suffer the pain your family has ~ it grieves our souls and spirit having followed your niece’s journey… we’re immensely saddened for your deep loss… she is a beautiful young woman and was taken too soon from all of you… (I have sons) ~

WE pray, for resolve in this case…

God Bless you too, Steve and your family ~

We’re continuing to pray and also know, it’s in His timing… and yesterday, wasn’t soon enough for your family to have answers!

may everyone reading continue to pray.. we need to be fervent and continue to ask God for resolve… for Him to bless this family and those who’ve helped them in this case…and for unspoken needs… He knows your hearts and He cares ~ He does… rest assured, brother… His word does not ever go void and hold on to His promises… Zechariah gives comfort and Nahum about anyone who touches the apple of God’s eye… and then if anyone harms one of his children… whoa, vengence is MINE sayeth the Lord God… not someone to tango with… the Soverign God of the Universe… hello!~ they are going to get theres… and even that is not pretty to think about… it’s mournful.

Bless you too ~ it’s true, the only thing important in this life are relationships, people and our Faith… Amen, brother! hugs!

You’re right, Natalee did die in the Lord and she will be there to fight on His side against the wicked one…

      The Bible says,

The Nations will know that I am Jehovah!

      the end will come.

      Mankind will be redeemed…

      restored to perfection.

And… the evil one will be no more.

      I’ve cried sooooo many tears,

      asking myself why…

But, it is only through God’s word

that we can come to a clear and accurate

      understanding of God’s will.

      Let it be done,

      on earth…

      as it is in heaven.

yoyo just asked me on another post

if god is love why did god let that happen to her…

i dont care to debate with her.. she wouldnt understand and just is looking to create friction…

we need to pray for her.. redemption:)

    84. kitty on June 5th, 2008 8:44 pm

He has a purpose, a will and a plan for each of us in our life ~ Jesus Christ our Lord & Savior, IS the God of love… truly, He is.

The question posed, is a very thoughtful one and one, many of us have asked ourselves and maybe even openly as this, or privately with God… or aamongst friends ~

The question need to be asked, as Steve shared his heart and soul with us…in the above post will you be ready? Are you one with Christ? Jesus Christ said that He loved us so much, that He died for you and me… to live eternally, with Him, in heaven forever…

The Bible is the true word of God ~ He says in the book of John… I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father, but by me…

In the beginning was the word, the word was God and the Word was with God… digest Him, take time to read His word.. Ask Him, Lord Jesus Christ to open the eyes of our hearts… our ears to hear Him and our eyes to see Him…

Truly, for Steve Holloway, to come and post here, to speak his heart to all of us, worldwide, sharing his Faith for Jesus Christ, us not even KNOWING truly what this family’s been through, as only they’ve lived it…(we’ve all read here and in the news of Natalee’s horriffic end, bless her loving soul and God Bless this beautiful child..)and for Steve to share that he cares enough of you and me, that he wants us all to do some soul searching… he challenges each of us, do you know Jesus?… Do you have a RELATIONSHIP with Jesus?… wow!.. there’s something, to bring us all to pause ~ question… ask… we’re all sinners… evil does exist in this world… yes, evil happens… however, Steve mentioned that he does know a LOVING savior who cares enough, that He died for you and me, so we may live… with Him eternally… grace, my friend, it’s all about being saved by grace, through faith ~ we can ask Him when we see him in glory… I’ve a few questions myself, as to certain events that have occurred in my family’s life.. and what truly mattered wasn’t why it happened to us.. it was, Thank you Jesus, for your love, getting us through it, loving us, that much!…Christ gave us strength through immense suffering, if anyone knew about suffering, His death was one of immense suffering, He was unrecognizable!.. His dying for US, so we may live… thank you for giving us YOUR strength to grow through the horror of it all… and forgiveness.. Jesus… only through Him, can we forgive, humanly, we can’t…

It’s all about Him, my friend… perhaps, Steve could add some wisdom to this question ~ He and his family, have borne much fruit from this horriffic tradgedy ~ read again, his post and truly take to heart what his heart is saying…to all of us… you know, even Steve says he loves us who post here, Jesus Christ even loves us even more, than this brother does… and he loved us so much, He died for you and me, so we may live with Him in glory!.. be with one another!…

There within, is the challenge and question we all ask ourselves… and Steve, Bless him, has publicly shared the angst of losing his beloved niece… the angst his brother,of Beth… of his own family’s sufferings and they’ve endured what many of us never have nor will, (God willing) and to plead with those of us… please come to Christ… speaks volumes of this mans characture and heart… one that he even admitted once had hate, and he’s replaced it with love… oh my… that’s such evidence of Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit walking with that man and his brother and family…in their lives… He is love… Love is what it’s all about ~

I’m so thankful, that Natalee, had Jesus Christ in her life ~ she’s with Him, in glory where the Bible says, there are no more tears or suffering… oh my…she is no longer suffering… (now, I’m crying)…

get a good study Bible.. the NIV Life Application Bible is a great resource and answers questions just like misskatie posted for yoyo… (Sam’s club sells them inexpensively)…

      Hard question, easy answer…

we all need Jesus ~ He IS LOVE. Trust in Him, he’ll never leave you or forsake you, He is with us ALWAYS, till the very end of the age.. (Matthew)…

      Gods blessings to all…
