Paul Ryan: GOP Budget Blueprint Includes Repeal of Obamacare (Obamatax Job Killing, Budget Increasing) Disaster

This weekend on FOX News Sunday, Rep. Paul Ryan (WI-R) stated that the budget blueprint he plans to unveil on Tuesday will promote repealing Obamacare.  Let’s hope that both Ryan and the GOP are sincere and have a spin and the conviction to go through with this. As we continue to learn every day, Obamacare will bankrupt the United States and destroy jobs. We need healthcare reform in the US, Obamacare is not it. Obamacare is not providing any of its promises, in fact it is doing just the opposite.

Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan, chairman of the House Budget Committee, said Sunday that his new budget includes the repeal of President Obama’s health-care reform law known as ObamaCare.

Ryan told “Fox News Sunday” that the new proposal will make enough cuts to balance the federal budget in 10 years, compared to his previous one that tried to achieve that goal in 25 years.

“We think we owe the American people a balanced budget,” the Republican congressman said.

Ryan said the focus of the ObamaCare repeal would be to stop the expansion of Medicaid, the federal program that provides medical services to low-income U.S. families.

“Our budget does promote repealing ObamaCare and replacing it with a better system,” said Ryan, who did not say whether his 2014 budget is based on a full repeal.

President Barack Obama, “I am not a Dictator … ” Hmm, Could Have Fooled Me

President Barack Hussein Obama stated, “I am not a dictator. I am the president.” Really? It’s been my experience in life when ever some one has to tell you who they are not, they usually are.

Isn’t it dictators who disregard the will of the people and cram their agenda down the throats of those they rule, such like Obamacare? Isn’t it dictators like Nicolae Ceausescu, Saddam Hussein, and Fidel Castro who also released criminal prisoners? Isn’t it dictators who play class warfare and keep its citizens at each others throats so that they can rule by fiat? Isn’t it a dictator who threatens the media to keep them in line so that they will operate as their propaganda tool? Isn’t it a dictator who wants to keep the people dependent upon the government and food stamps, and cause individuals to struggle as median incomes fall? Isn’t it a dictator who makes false promises to their people to keep them in line when they knew all along it was a lie? Isn’t it a dictator who would consistently show contempt for the US Constitution whose sole purpose was to define federal authority and the rights of the People?

Isn’t it a dictator who would watch millions of Americans struggle, lose their jobs, homes and businesses while they go on vacations, weekly gold outings and live the life of Riley?  All the while they say they care, but do nothing but keep the citizenry at conflict with one another. Isn’t it a dictator who would over-regulate business in order to control and suppress the economy? Isn’t it a dictator who blames everyone one else for the ills of society, when they are the one who is in control? Isn’t it a dictator who would want to control an individuals entire life from birth to death? All in all, I would say you are a dictator.

Sorry, I know tyranny when I see it.

Obamacare Funding for Patients with Pre-existing Conditions Runs Low … Another Miscalculation of Obamacare

More promises of Obamacare ending in disappointment. Money running low for Obamacare funding for patients with pre-existing conditions. Of the original $5 billion appropriated for the Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan, about $2.36 billion remains available for the last three quarters of 2013. Enough only to continue coverage for those already in the pools, according to administration estimates.  The plan was supposed to last until 2014. Just yet another miscalculation of Obamacare.

Tens of thousands of Americans who cannot get health insurance because of preexisting medical problems will be blocked from a program designed to help them because funding is running low.

Obama administration officials said Friday that the state-based “high-risk pools” set up under the 2010 health-care law will be closed to new applicants as soon as Saturday and no later than March 2, depending on the state.

But they stressed that coverage for about 100,000 people who are now enrolled in the high-risk pools will not be affected.

“We’re being very careful stewards of the money that has been appropriated to us and we wanted to balance our desire to maximize the number of people who can gain from this program while making sure people who are in the program have coverage,” said Gary Cohen, director of the Department of Health and Human Services’ Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight. “This was the most prudent step for us to take at this point in time.”

The program, which was launched in summer 2010, was always intended as a temporary bridge for the uninsured. But it was supposed to last until 2014. At that point, the health-care law will bar insurers from rejecting or otherwise discriminating against people who are already sick, enabling such people to buy plans through the private market.

From the start, analysts questioned whether the $5 billion that Congress appropriated for the Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan — as the program is called — was sufficient.

Initial fears that as many as 375,000 sick people would swamp the pools and bankrupt them by 2012 did not pan out. This is largely because, even though the pools must charge premiums comparable to those for healthy people, the plans sold through them are often expensive.

Barack Obama gets an earful on Obamacare from famed Baltimore neurosurgeon Dr. Benjamin Carson.

Last week during the National Prayer Breakfast, neurosurgeon Dr. Benjamin Carson criticized President Barack Obama, Obamacare  and the governments intrusion in healthcare. All the while as President Obama sat in the audience. It is too bad that Obama could probably not hear a word of what this educated man was saying. After listening to Dr. Benjamin Carson all I could take from him is why is not this man the president of the United States? His discussion on the dangers of “political correctness”. He stated PC was dangerous as it because the unanimity of speech and though is bad. This country was founded on freedom or thought and freedom of expression. PC muzzles people and keeps people from discussing important issues. With Obama less than 5 feet away, Dr. Carson criticized Obamacare and encouraged a program where newborn babies are given health savings account as an alternative to Obamacare.

If you have never watched one YouTube video, you need to watch this one.It is fascinating, informational and inspirational. Carson’s discussion on education is tremendous. Think back to slavery, it was illegal to educate a slave. Why was that? Because,  to educate a man, liberates a man. Amen brother. What he is talking about is to have a public educated, so that they never become victims and dependent upon a government.

Simply amazing, as Barack Obama looked on, Carson basically dismantled Obama’s class warfare and “fairness” doctrine before his very eyes. Oh to have really known what Obama was thinking as Carson ripped Obama’s ridiculous and divisive ”hurt the rich” and “class warfare” … “Some people say, ‘Well that’s not fair because it doesn’t hurt the guy who made $10 billion as much as the guy who made 10.’ Where does it say you’ve got to hurt the guy? He just put a billion dollars in the pot”.

DR. CARSON: What we need to do is come up with something simple. And when I pick up my Bible, you know what I see? I see the fairest individual in the universe, God, and he’s given us a system. It’s called a tithe. We don’t necessarily have to do 10% but it’s the principle. He didn’t say if your crops fail, don’t give me any tithe or if you have a bumper crop, give me triple tithe. So there must be something inherently fair about proportionality. You make $10 billion, you put in a billion. You make $10 you put in one. Of course you’ve got to get rid of the loopholes. Some people say, ‘Well that’s not fair because it doesn’t hurt the guy who made $10 billion as much as the guy who made 10.’ Where does it say you’ve got to hurt the guy? He just put a billion dollars in the pot. We don’t need to hurt him. It’s that kind of thinking that has resulted in 602 banks in the Cayman Islands. That money needs to be back here building our infrastructure and creating jobs.

CARSON: Here’s my solution: When a person is born, give him a birth certificate, an electronic medical record, and a health savings account to which money can be contributed — pretax — from the time you’re born ’til the time you die. When you die, you can pass it on to your family members, so that when you’re 85 years old and you got six diseases, you’re not trying to spend up everything. You’re happy to pass it on and there’s nobody talking about death panels. Number one. And also, for the people who were indigent who don’t have any money we can make contributions to their HSA each month because we already have this huge pot of money. Instead of sending it to some bureaucracy, let’s put it in their HSAs. Now they have some control over their own health care.

 It is really too bad that this man is not more prominent than he is. His thoughts and vision is remarkable. He is an individual who should be considered a hero, not sports athletes , singers or actors. This man is the real deal. Carson’s role model was Jesus.  Dr. Benjamin Carson for President!!!

UPDATE I: Looks like the LEFT considers Dr. Carson a racist for daring to question and criticize Obama, the first black president. Oh Wait, Dr. Carson is a man of color as well.

The Libs at CNN did not take too much time in trying to attack Dr. Benjamin Carson for his comments and come to the aid of their liberal savior and daddy, President Barack Hussein Obama. As reported at Mediaite,  on Sunday, the panel guests on CNN’s State of the Union weighed in on whether it was appropriate for Carson to use the forum of the prayer breakfast to advocate for free market reforms to healthcare and a flat tax code. What’s the matter, the liberal and bias MSM cannot stand some one calling out Obama’s divisive, class warfare doctrine? Especially when the individual who did it was black? I guess this makes Dr. Carson a racist. Isn’t anyone who dares differ with Obama considered a racist? How sad that Democrats just not get the message that its better to teach an individual to fish, rather than just give some one fish. The fact that the Democrat on the panel made this about partisan politics, rather than the common sense that Dr. Carson was espousing just shows what Democrats are really after … class warfare and a dependent government class of people who are uneducated and forced to remain on the Democrat plantation.

Crowley turned to Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) and asked if she found “anything offensive” in Carson’s speech.

“I think that there is a political correctness that he was trying to use to appeal to a conservative audience,” Schakowsky said. “I think it’s really not really an appropriate place to make this kind of political speech and to invoke God as his support for that kind of view.”

Schakowsky concluded by saying that Carson’s message displayed an “empathy gap” between where the American propel are and where Carson, and other conservatives, want the nation to go. “We need to have an economy that works for everyone,” she concluded.

How’s This “Hope & Change”: 7 Million Americans Will Lose Insurance under Obamacare … What Happened to you can Keep your Heathcare Coverage?

THE LION LYING KING: So much for the promises of President Barack Hussein Obama and that you can keep your insurance and doctors with the advent of Obamacare. NOT IF YOU CAN’T KEEP YOUR JOB OR THEY PAY THE PENALTY INSTEAD.

As it turns out, former Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was 100% correct, they did need to pass Obamacare in order to find out what’s in it. According to the CBO, because of Obamacare 7 million American workers will be pushed out of their job based insurance coverage. Instead businesses are going to opt to pay the penalty to the government rather than providing insurance coverage for their workers. The 7 million affected is nearly twice as many that was initially estimated by the CBO. Really? Who did not think that a business would rather pay a penalty that was less than the actual amount it cost to cover an employee? This was the entire reason why the Obamacare penalty was made so low, to entire businesses to drop insurance coverage and push their employee’s on the government insurance dole. This is the first step to universal, government controlled health care.

LIAR: If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor, period! If you like your healthcare plan, you can keep your healthcare plan. period!

President Obama’s health care law will push 7 million people out of their job-based insurance coverage — nearly twice the previous estimate, according to the latest estimates from the Congressional Budget Office released Tuesday.

CBO said that this year’s tax cuts have changed the incentives for businesses and made it less attractive to pay for insurance, meaning fewer will decide to do so. Instead, they’ll choose to pay a penalty to the government, totaling $13 billion in higher fees over the next decade.

But the non-partisan agency also expects fewer people to have to pay individual penalties to the IRS than it earlier projects, because of a better method for calculating incomes that found more people will be exempt.

 THE OBAMA LIE … So what happened to Barack Obama’s promise to the American people? Obama told the American people and was reelected based on the following promise lie. He stated that no matter how we reform health care we will keep the following promise to the American people. “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor, period! If you like your healthcare plan, you can keep your healthcare plan. period! No one will take it away. No matter what”. What a bold faced lie (VIDEO). Every promise that Obama made that his Obamacare was going to do has done just the opposite and they knew it all along. It did not lower the cost of insurance coverage, it increased it. It did not make doctors and hospitals became less administrators and accountants, it made them more. It did not create 100′s of thousands of more jobs, it caused businesses to lay off workers also HERE, HERE and HERE. It did not increase employee  take home pay either. It has all been one big Obama lie and an uninformed Honey Boo Boo, envious electorate bought it hook, line and sinker.

The 100 employees who are being laid off at  Smith & Nephew Orthopedics in Memphis, TN and Andover, MA can than President Barack Obama and Obamacare for their new found unemployment. The lay offs are being attributed to Obamacare and the excise tax was built into the Affordable Healthcare Act and took effect on January 1, 2013 that puts a 2.3% tax on medical devices. Just yet more brilliance from Barack Obama and the government take over of healthcare. With a poor economy and a jobs market that continues to struggle with job growth, Obama has done his part to make sure even more Americans lose their jobs. All in the name of taxes and increasing g revenue to pay fro his boondoggle called Obamacare.

I guess its kind of hard for you to keep your insurance and doctors like I promised if you lose your job, eh?

Smith & Nephew Orthopedics is laying off an estimated 100 employees in Memphis and Andover, Mass., citing the 2.3 percent excise tax on orthopedic device companies as the reason.

Joe Metzger, senior vice president of corporate communications for Smith & Nephew, said the tax is impacting “a number of companies across the U.S.”

“Smith & Nephew is not immune from this added expense burden,” Metzger said in a statement. “Unfortunately, and in order to absorb this cost burden into our business, this has meant less than 100 positions have been made redundant across various departmental functions in our Tennessee and Massachusetts sites. The company is providing the affected employees with a comprehensive severance package and outplacement support.”

Smith & Nephew employs an estimated 1,815 people in Memphis, according to Memphis Business Journal research. Metzger declined to reveal how many of the roughly 100 layoffs occurred in Memphis. A report in the Memphis Daily News, quoting anonymous sources, said there were 60 local jobs lost.

Just curious, if Obamacare is so affordable, why are people losing their jobs to pay for it?

What Happened to that Free and Discounted Premium Obama Health Care … IRS Says Cheapest Obamacare Plan Will Be $20,000 Per Family

Hey America, how’s that free and discounted Obamacare healthcare looking now?

THE LION LYING KING: HEALTHCARE COST EDITION: In a further effort to prove that a sucker is born every minute and most of the them voted for Barack Obama in the 2012 presidential election, we are now presented with even more details of the Obamacare healthcare law that Nancy Pelosi stated that we had to pass it in order to find out what’s in it. Barack Obama sold this bill of goods to the American public saying that it would reduce insurance premiums, and in some cases up to 3000%. Yes, as the Gateway Pundit reminds us, Barack Obama actually said that you would get a 3000% discount on your insurance premiums from your employers and a raise. The said reality was that the ignorant and uninformed voters actually bought Obama’s BS.

However, the reality is that the IRS is saying that the cheapest Obamacare plan will cost a family $20,000 a year. How’s that “Hopey-Changey” Obamacare working out for ya now? Why is the IRS making these comments? They will be the enforcement agency of Obamacare and come after those who do not have insurance.  Under the law, the penalty for not buying health insurance is supposed to be capped at either the annual average Bronze premium, 2.5 percent of taxable income, or $2,085.00 per family in 2016. Huh, the IRS is calling it a penalty. Wasn’t it the US Supreme Court that called it a tax?

 In a final regulation issued Wednesday, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) assumed that under Obamacare the cheapest health insurance plan available in 2016 for a family will cost $20,000 for the year.

Under Obamacare, Americans will be required to buy health insurance or pay a penalty to the IRS.

The IRS’s assumption that the cheapest plan for a family will cost $20,000 per year is found in examples the IRS gives to help people understand how to calculate the penalty they will need to pay the government if they do not buy a mandated health plan.

The examples point to families of four and families of five, both of which the IRS expects in its assumptions to pay a minimum of $20,000 per year for a bronze plan.

“The annual national average bronze plan premium for a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children) is $20,000,” the regulation says.

Didn’t Barack Obama Promise that Obamacare would Lower Costs … Health Insurers Raise Some Rates by Double Digits

THE LION LYING KING: Remember when President Barack Obama said that Obamacare would lower costs for insureds, REALLY? It’s just yet another Obama lie to “We the People”.

For those of us who hold President Obama to his word, unlike the liberal MSM, you will remember in the second debate with John McCain in 2008, Obama promised, “We’re going to work with your employer to lower the cost of your premiums by up to $2,500 a year.” Obama would then go on the stump and continually make the promise that Obamacare, the socialized government take over of healthcare, would lower premium costs. Just curious America, did Obama work with your employer to lower your health care premiums this year by $2500? Heck, mine went up by about 25%. Investors Business Daily has previously provided the data that shows Obama’s math problems when it comes to premiums.

But like everything else when it comes to this president, no one wants to hold him accountable. Maybe when millions of insureds realize they were duped, maybe, just maybe  ”We the People” will finally do the responsible thing and punish Obama, Democrats and the MSM for their lies.

As reported in the NY Times, Health insurance companies across the country are seeking and winning double-digit increases in premiums.

Health insurance companies across the country are seeking and winning double-digit increases in premiums for some customers, even though one of the biggest objectives of the Obama administration’s health care law was to stem the rapid rise in insurance costs for consumers.

Particularly vulnerable to the high rates are small businesses and people who do not have employer-provided insurance and must buy it on their own.

In California, Aetna is proposing rate increases of as much as 22 percent, Anthem Blue Cross 26 percent and Blue Shield of California 20 percent for some of those policy holders, according to the insurers’ filings with the state for 2013. These rate requests are all the more striking after a 39 percent rise sought by Anthem Blue Cross in 2010 helped give impetus to the law, known as the Affordable Care Act, which was passed the same year and will not be fully in effect until 2014.

In other states, like Florida and Ohio, insurers have been able to raise rates by at least 20 percent for some policy holders. The rate increases can amount to several hundred dollars a month.

Suddenly Democrats Want to Delay ‘Job-Killing’ Obamacare Tax on Medical Devices

Now they are concerned. Suddenly 18 Democrat Senators want to delay the Obamacare “job-killing” tax on medical devices. 

Previously, then Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that we have to pass the bill [Obamacare] in order to find out what is in it. Really? Long after the Obamacare bill was passed politicians still refused to say what was in it, even though many on the Right stated that there were numerous taxes that would be bad for the economy. Suddenly, following the 2012 election Democrats have had an epiphany, have become enlightened and now are urging a delay in some of the taxes from the Affordable Care Act.

After all this time, after all their defense of Obamacare, suddenly sixteen present and two Senate-elect Democrat US Senators are sending Democrat Senate Majority leader Harry Reid a letter calling for a delay in the “job-killing” tax.  Even though some of the Senators on this list who have medical device companies in their states, they still voted for Obamacare. It is only now on the verge of the tax being implemented, January 1, 2013, it has become an issue.

Sixteen Democratic senators who voted for the Affordable Care Act are asking that one of its fundraising mechanisms, a 2.3 percent tax on medical devices scheduled to take effect January 1, be delayed. Echoing arguments made by Republicans against Obamacare, the Democratic senators say the levy will cost jobs — in a statement Monday, Sen. Al Franken called it a “job-killing tax” — and also impair American competitiveness in the medical device field.

The senators, who made the request in a letter to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, are Franken, Richard Durbin, Charles Schumer, Patty Murray, John Kerry, Kirsten Gillibrand, Amy Klobuchar, Joseph Lieberman, Ben Nelson, Robert Casey, Debbie Stabenow, Barbara Mikulski, Kay Hagan, Herb Kohl, Jeanne Shaheen, and Richard Blumenthal. All voted for Obamacare.

Two other Democrats, senators-elect Joe Donnelly and Elizabeth Warren, also signed the letter. Donnelly voted for Obamacare as a member of the House. Warren was not in Congress at the time.

Suddenly after the election and all the lies that have been spewed about Obamacare, Democrats now have developed a conscience that Granny’s hip is going to cost more. However, in order to delay or get rid of this tax, Democrats are going to have to come up with $29 billion. That is the amount that is supposed to come in from this medical device tax. As stated at Powerline, Democrats are now admitting that Obamacare is a jobs killer. Where were they for the past four years? Its not just this tax that is a jobs-killer, all of Obamacare is one.

Of course the medical device tax will cost jobs, as will any number of other taxes that support Obamacare. These Democrats are latecomers to the party, and they would have more credibility if they had not voted for the bill in the first place. I suspect that what is going on here is that these Democrats know there is no chance the medical device tax will be repealed, but they want whatever political cover may come from having complained about it, notwithstanding that they voted for the tax.

There are consequences to votes and following Obama blindly so that liberals could accomplish their Holy Grail of socialized medicine. The result is a deviating effect on the economy.
