THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE … WHEN THE WALKING DEAD BECOMES THE SHOT DEAD.

People thought it was all part of the act at ZombiCon in Fort Myers, Florida until they realized the grim truth, it was real. Multiple shots were fired last night during the ZombiCon event that left 1 dead and 4 wounded.  According to the police, the shooting happened at about 11:44 p.m. in downtown Fort Myers at a “ZombiCon” event, Fort Myers. As the shots were fired late Saturday night, panic began to spread through the event  as those attending the Zombicon began running for their lives through the streets in terror, taking on the look of an actual zombie apocalypse we are all so accustomed to seeing on TV or Netflix. A man hunt is underway for the shooter who remains at large.

One would have to think that some one caught something on video. The whole point of Zombicon is to be seen and take pictures. Everyone at these events have their cell phones rolling. Police asked attendees to share smartphone video from the incident at an event expected to draw more than 20,000 people. However, one cannot help but notice the irony, individuals who witnessed the shooting at ZombiCon said to reporters that it is the first time I have ever seen anyone dead. Imagine the fact that there be death involved with Zombies.
