BET Founder Bob Johnson Says “This Country Would Never Tolerate White Unemployment at 14 or 15 Percent” … Blacks Growing Restless With Obama’s Failed Policies

Blacks should wonder why with the first black president, blacks are even more worse off than before … Can they handle the truth? Have they just figured out that Barack Obama has been an complete an epic failure as president? Obama has promised job growth and none nothing but make matters worse, increase the federal debt and increase costs.

As reported by CNS News, Black Entertainment Television (BET) founder Bob Johnson said earlier this week .at the National Press Club that the United States would “never tolerate white unemployment at 14 or 15%”. He went on to say that the  unemployment for the black community has been double that of white Americans for over 50 years. Obviously Obama has no issue with the high black unemployment rate as he has made matters worse during his regime. Its also many black leaders are finally making their voices heard after 4 years of silence during Obama’s first term. As per Town Hall, political leaders from the Congressional Black Caucus to the NAACP have begun to open fire on the White House.  To be perfectly honest, I am not sure why anyone would tolerate the present national average of unemployment, no matter what one’s skin color is. Obama’s economic policies have been a disaster for all people of any color.

This country would never tolerate white unemployment at 14 and 15 percent. No one would ever stay in office at 14 or 15 percent unemployment in this nation, but we’ve had that double unemployment for over 50 years,” Johnson said while speaking at the National Press Club about the gap between whites and blacks in America.

“The national average is 7.7 percent, and African-American unemployment is 13.8 percent. To be honest, it’s probably greater than that when you count the number of African-Americans who have simply given up on finding employment,” said Johnson, who is also founder and chairman of The RLJ Companies.

However, does Bob Johnson want the truth to his questions, or just more excuses that have been the cause that have kept black unemployment percentages high?

Under President Barack Obama, unemployment for blacks has been abysmal. Males, females and teens have all seen their unemployment numbers skyrocket under Obama. But I thought he cared about them? How does a segment of the population support a president with 95% of the vote and still get nothing in return. And by getting something I do not mean for food stamps, unemployment and Obama phones.

As reported at Vibe, Dr. Benjamin Carson criticizes President Obama on Black unemployment, “If President Obama wants to be a hero in the African-American community, he should do something to alleviate the “abominable” Black unemployment rate in America”.

“I think the best thing that he (President Obama) can possibly do that will help minorities is to enact policies that allow for growth of the economy,” said Carson. “Because when you look at the employment rate for instance in the African American community, it’s abominable. And the policies that have been enacted have only made it worse. They have not made it better. So if he really wanted to be a hero in that community, let’s start doing some things that make sense economically and get the money flowing.”

Black Leaders Open Fire on Obama Over Unemployment.

Barack Obama’s failed job policies are facing bitter criticism from African-American leaders who say black unemployment has grown worse under his presidency.

After four years of holding their tongues and remaining quiet in the face of sharply rising black unemployment and record poverty, political leaders from the Congressional Black Caucus to the NAACP have begun to open fire on the White House.

Black, Female Unemployment Higher Than When Obama Took Office.

Unemployment for both women and African-Americans is higher today than it was when President Barack Obama first took office in 2009, according to federal government data.

Despite an economy that has technically been in recovery since June of 2009, many economic indicators are the same or worse than when President Obama gave his first address to a Joint Session of Congress in February 2009.

“We will rebuild, we will recover, and the United States of America will emerge stronger than before,” Obama said in that speech.

However, employment for African-Americans and women has not recovered and, in fact, is worse today than it was when Obama said those words.

Congressional Black Caucus Concerned that Barack Obama Has Yet to Appointed African-Americans to his Second-term Cabinet.

Congressional Black Caucus to Obama … It’s time to pay up for the 2012 black vote.

As reported at The Hill, the Congressional Black Caucus is voicing some concern that President Barack Obama has yet to appoint any African-Americans to his second term Cabinet. In other words, hey Barack, after getting 95% of the black vote, its time to pay up, where are all the black people? Where is the diversity? Where is the equal opportunity? Where is the NAACP, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton chanting “no justice, no peace?” Where are the cries of racism? Don’t you love the double standard?

The chairwoman of the Congressional Black Caucus said she is concerned that President Obama has not yet appointed African-Americans to his second-term Cabinet.

Rep. Marcia Fudge (D-Ohio) said Obama’s appointees do not reflect the nation’s diverse population — at least, so far.

“I am concerned that you have moved forward with new cabinet appointments and yet, to date, none of them have been African American,” her letter to Obama states. “You have publicly expressed your commitment to retaining diversity within your cabinet. However, the people you have chosen to appoint in this new term have hardly been reflective of this country’s diversity.”

Herman Cain Says that Blacks Have Been Brainwashed into Voting for Democrats

Republican Presidential 2012 primary candidate Herman Cain says … African-Americans have been brainwashed into voting for Democrats. When a demographic supports the Democrat party with 95% of the vote, receives in return a record 17% unemployment and still unanimous supports the Democrat party … its hard to argue. Of course, had it been some other republican that made such a comment, they would have been branded as a racist.

The one African-American running for the GOP presidential nomination said Wednesday the black community was ‘brainwashed’ for traditionally siding with liberal politicians.

“African-Americans have been brainwashed into not being open minded, not even considering a conservative point of view,” Godfather’s Pizza executive Herman Cain said on CNN’s “The Situation Room” in an interview airing Wednesday between 5-7 p.m. ET. “I have received some of that same vitriol simply because I am running for the Republican nomination as a conservative. So it’s just brainwashing and people not being open minded, pure and simple.”

Weasel Zippers adds … replace “Jewish’ with “Blacks” and you have the same accurate statement. Agreed.

One has to wonder why Blacks put all of their eggs in one basket, in political terms it makes them irrelevant. You have one party that will not care to target them because they only receive 5% of the vote and you have another, in Democrats, that just take them for granted. At some point, even if its just to send a message to Democrats, blacks need to rethink their vote in order to be relevant. There is a reason why the Independent vote is courted … they are perceived to be open-minded.

President Obama Has Another Oops moment …”If Asking a Billionaire to Pay the Same Tax Rate as a Jew … I Mean a Janitor”

Imagine if George W. Bush or Sarah Palin made the same or similar comment … the MSM would have it as its leading story in print and TV.

It would appear that President Barack Obama has “Jew” on the brain. During his speech at the CBC, the Congressional Black Caucus Annual dinner, Obama made the following comment, “if asking a billionaire to pay the same tax rate as a Jew … I mean a janitor.” OOPS! Damn that teleprompter. How dare the teleprompter show “Jew” instead of “janitor”.

Who knew that the US tax code had a special tax rate for Jews? One really has to wonder what is going on inside of Obama’s head to make such gaffes? Then again, with Barack Obama there are also 57 US states, he forgets his daughter’s age , signs the wrong year at Westminster Abbey, and forgets what city he is campaigning in.  All this from the smartest President evah.

UPDATE I: Maxine Waters says Obama got too fired up and went off his teleprompter.Once again we are presented that once Obama goes off script and does not read from his prepared speech loaded into his teleprompter, he becomes a total screw up.

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) said President Obama got carried away in an address to a Congressional Black Caucus dinner where he said supporters should “stop complaining” and start fighting.

“I think [Obama] got carried away. He got fired up,” Waters said Monday in an interview with MSNBC. Obama “got off script and got a little bit beside himself but I certainly don’t believe that he thinks the Congressional Black Caucus is sitting around in house slippers and bed slippers and whatever those things are — I don’t own them and I don’t understand the image that was described there.”

Waters added that Obama just went off his planned remarks in his speech.

UPDATE II: US Rep. Maxine Waters called President Barack Obama’s comments to black Americans that they should stop complaining “a bit curious” and said she doesn’t “know who he was talking to.” Rut-roh, trouble in paradise. Waters basically called out Obama and said that he would never make such comments to Jews or Hispanics.

The California Democrat told CBS’s “Early Show” the president would never have addressed other communities like gays or Jews or Hispanics in the way he did at the annual awards dinner for the Congressional Black Caucus on Saturday when he told the audience to “stop complaining.”

Barack Obama Chastises Blacks and tells them Stop Complaining & Put on Their Marching Shoes

How bad is it for President Barack Obama these days … The One has to lecture and beg to a constituency group that backed him the most in 2008 Presidential elections telling them to put on their “Marching Shoes”. Did Obama just call blacks whiners and lazy?

Saturday, at the annual dinner for the  of the Congressional Black Caucus Barack Obama said the following to blacks, to quit crying and complaining and “put on your marching shoes,” to follow him into battle for jobs and opportunity. Really President Obama, you are lecturing blacks to support you after you received 95% of their vote in 2008? Why should black America turn out for Obama in 2012? Hope & Change has turned into more of the same and a record level unemployment for blacks.

“Take off your bedroom slippers. Put on your marching shoes,” he said, his voice rising as applause and cheers mounted. “Shake it off. Stop complainin’. Stop grumblin’. Stop cryin’. We are going to press on. We have work to do.”

Obama’s speech to the annual awards dinner of the Congressional Black Caucus was his answer to increasingly vocal griping from black leaders that he’s been giving away too much in talks with Republicans — and not doing enough to fight black unemployment, which is nearly double the national average at 16.7 percent.

“It gets folks discouraged. I know. I listen to some of y’all,” Obama told an audience of some 3,000 in a darkened Washington convention center.

But he said blacks need to have faith in the future — and understand that the fight won’t be won if they don’t rally to his side.

Really? Imagine, just imagine if a President not named Barack Obama called blacks lazy and cry babies? What do you think the MSM and the so-called black activists would be saying today? As caucus chairman, Rep. Emanuel Cleaver of Missouri said this week, “If Bill Clinton had been in the White House and had failed to address this problem, we probably would be marching on the White House.” God only knows what would have been said had there been a white Republican as President.  So Obama gets a pass and have the right to lecture blacks when he has failed them most when it comes to jobs?  This is the hypocrisy of the Obama administration. Even though Obama has been a complete failure as President, especially when it comes to the economy and jobs, blacks are supposed to support his continued failed policies.
