Democrat House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi Calls Immigration Negotiations … ‘Five white guys’ leading DACA talks should open a ‘hamburger stand’ (VIDEO)

DEMOCRATS JUST CANT HELP BUT USE THE RACE CARD EVEN WHEN OFFENDING THEIR OWN

Yesterday, Democrat Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi complained that immigration negotiations are being led by “five white guys.” Guess who was one of the 5 white guys she made this disparaging comment about? Why her own No. 2, Democrat Minority Whip Steny Hoyer. AMAZING. Does Pelosi even know that some of those white guys are her own leadership?  Steny Hoyer, called the Californian Democrat’s comments ‘offensive.’ Gee, you think? The media and Democrats think Trump is unfit for office? They might want to take Pelosi in for observation. You could call these folks who came up with a lame immigration deal useless, but I doubt whether their color has anything to do with it.

Via The Politico:

Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi complained Thursday that immigration negotiations are being led by “five white guys” — and was quickly rebuked by her No. 2, Minority Whip Steny Hoyer, himself one of those white guys involved in the talks.

“The five white guys I call them, you know,” Pelosi said at her weekly news conference. “Are they going to open a hamburger stand next or what?” Pelosi said, complaining that minority members of Congress were not involved in deciding the fate of Dreamers.

Pelosi’s quip was a reference to the hamburger chain Five Guys and the five white men leading the immigration negotiations. In addition to Hoyer, they include Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn (R-Texas), Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), and White House Chief of Staff John Kelly.

The group of House and Senate leaders held a meeting on immigration earlier this week.

Democrat Rep. Keith Ellison Endorses Antifa

REALLY AMERICA, YOU WANT TO ELECT A PARTY INTO POWER THAT ENDORSES ANTIFA?

From Powerline comes the chilling reality that Democrats actually endorse an organization that promotes polity violence. That is correct, Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MI) endorsed Antifa. Take a good look what the Democrat party has become. Antifi should be considered a domestic terror organization, not endorsed by U.S. Representatives. Antifa is the moral equivalence of Neo-Nazi’s; however, much worse. They actually have support of members of Congress. Ellison tweeted: At @MoonPalaceBooks and I just found the book that strike [sic] fear in the heart of @realDonaldTrump.

Keith Ellison_Antifa

If you sometimes get the feeling that the Democratic Party has gone mad, you’re right. It has. Exhibit A is Keith Ellison, deputy chairman of the Democratic National Committee, who yesterday endorsed the fascist Antifa movement, which closely resembles the Brownshirts of the 1930s. Ellison tweeted this photo of himself with Antifa’s manifesto.

And to make matters worse you have the liberal media backing the play of this misguided member of Congress in Newsweek trying to spin for Ellison. The hacks at Newsweek want to defend Antifa and call all those who would oppose any type of violence, the alt-right. Seriously? This is shameful. So some how its a bad thing to be against an organization that promotes political violence? Does this mean that the liberal and bias MSM will defend the Neo-Nazi’s as well? What’s the difference?

US Olympic Skier Lindsey Vonn Says I Won’t be Representing US President at Winter Olympics (VIDEO)

LINDSEY, SHUT UP AND SKI …

In a loaded and politically bias interview with CNN’s Alpine Edge, US Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn was asked how she felt competing in an Olympics for the United States whose president is Donald Trump? Vonn responded by saying, “Well I hope to represent the people of the United States, not the president.” Really, so you will be representing the people, not the president? Last time I checked Donald J. Trump was a person of the United States. It is sad that these athletes would let politics get in the way of athletics as all this has accomplished is having people, yes the American people, hate you. Lindsey, you do realize that 62,984,825 people of the United States voted for President Trump, right? It is a sad commentary that these athletes cannot shut up and just do what they are skilled at, instead of alienating half of America.

On a person note, I have skied since I was in the second grade. I grew up in a part of the country where we had half days on Wednesday and Friday so we could lean to ski. I have long followed Alpine skiing and snowboarding forever, long before it was cool to. And have known individuals who trained for the Olympic ski team and made it. And some who passed away in the pursuit of it. I have long cheered for Lindsey Vonn because of her amazing talent. However, for the first time I will find myself not cheering for Lindsey not to win Olympic gold. Not because she isn’t a Trump fan, but because she is so ignorant and bias in her beliefs, that she is acting like the very individual she thinks that Donald Trump is. It is sad that athletes think they have to mouth off and tell us about their political beliefs. WE DON’T CARE!!! Sports and the Olympics is an escape from politics. Thanks for ruining that Lindsey.

A number of US athletes have spoken out against Donald Trump during his presidency — and skier Lindsey Vonn has become the latest to have her say.
Targeting Olympic gold at February’s Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, Vonn is in St. Moritz, Switzerland, where she spoke passionately about what it means to compete for the US ski team.

“Well I hope to represent the people of the United States, not the president,” Vonn told CNN’s Alpine Edge.

And Vonn revealed she wouldn’t accept an invitation to the White House if she were to win gold at Pyeongchang.
“Absolutely not,” said Vonn. “No. But I have to win to be invited. No actually I think every US team member is invited so no I won’t go.

Uber-Lib David Corn Investigated for Inappropriate Workplace Behavior … Accused of making “rape jokes,” “regularly gave unwelcome shoulder rubs and engaged in uninvited touching of their legs, arms, backs, and waists,” and “made inappropriate comments about women’s sexuality and anatomy.”

This time a far-Lefty is accused of inappropriate behavior …

The Politico reports that  Mother Jones magazine’s editor and chief executive investigated Washington bureau chief David Corn for inappropriate workplace behavior three years ago. They warned him about touching female staffers and insensitive descriptions of sexual violence, and they would now probe the allegations further due to  two emails written by former staffers in 2014 and 2015. Had these same kind of emails surfaced in today’s environment or accusations were made now, Corn would probably find himself without a job in the light of what has happened recently. Corn was accused of making “rape jokes,” “regularly gave (several women) unwelcome shoulder rubs and engaged in uninvited touching of their legs, arms, backs, and waists,” and “made inappropriate comments about women’s sexuality and anatomy.”

David Corn

Mother Jones magazine’s editor and chief executive acknowledged on Thursday that they investigated Washington bureau chief David Corn for inappropriate workplace behavior three years ago, warning him about touching female staffers and insensitive descriptions of sexual violence, and would now probe the allegations further in light of two emails written by former staffers in 2014 and 2015 and obtained by POLITICO.

One of the emails, written in 2015 by a former staffer outlining concerns she had heard from other women in the Washington office, said Corn, now 58, made “rape jokes,” “regularly gave [several women] unwelcome shoulder rubs and engaged in uninvited touching of their legs, arms, backs, and waists,” and “made inappropriate comments about women’s sexuality and anatomy.” The other email, from 2014, was by a former female staffer who claimed that Corn “came up behind me and put his hands and arms around my body in a way that felt sexual and domineering.”

CEO Monika Bauerlein and editor-in-chief Clara Jeffery said they had not seen these emails, which were shared several years ago between colleagues and union representatives. But the magazine’s leaders acknowledged dealing with allegations of inappropriate touching and comments around the time the emails were written, and said they believe Corn has stopped those behaviors.

Corn, in a statement to POLITICO, said that neither his comments nor his touching of colleagues was in any way sexual.

Corn’s excuse is that he is just an exuberant person and it was never his intent to be perceived as “sexual” or “domineering.” Of course we know from other sexual harassment cases, it is not a matter of what the perpetrator intended, it is how the victim perceived the advances. Hmm, making rape jokes, rubbing woman’s shoulders and engaging in uninvited touching of their legs, arms, backs, and waists, and making inappropriate comments about women’s sexuality and anatomy isn’t sexual? Really?

“I am an exuberant person and have been known to pat male and female colleagues on the shoulder or slap them on the back, but always in a collegial or celebratory way,” he said. “I have never touched any work colleague in a sexual manner. Once concerns were raised about this type of contact, I have been mindful to avoid it to prevent any misperception. If anyone ever perceived any of this as ‘sexual’ or ‘domineering,’ I am sorry—that was never my intent.”

So what will happen to David Corn? Others have found themselves relived of their jobs for similar and worse conduct. Does anyone think this is really all just in the past, or has the same behavior continued over time? We shall see if more women come forward.

The accusations against Corn have surfaced amid a wave of sexual harassment allegations involving high-profile men in the news business, including star political journalist Mark Halperin, now-former top NPR editor Michael Oreskes, former New Republic literary editor Leon Wieseltier and New Republic publisher Hamilton Fish. Wieseltier, Fish and Corn were recently accused of harassment on “Shitty Media Men,” an anonymously written list featuring women’s claims against more than 70 men that’s been circulating among journalists.
