Hillary Clinton Hits the Sunday Talk Shows as Her Poll Numbers Tank … Uses Victimhood Excuse Again and the Vast Rightwing Conspiracy

NOT ONLY IS HILLARY CLINTON’S CAMPAIGN OLD AND TRIED, SO ARE HER POLITICAL EXCUSES …

The buck certainly does not stop with Hillary … Why would anyone vote for Hillary Clinton when all she does is blame every one else for her troubles, scandals and woe? With her poll numbers tanking and the once sure-fire Democrat presidential nominee in serious trouble, Hillary took to the Sunday Talk shows to tell the people she is trustworthy and transparent. However, NBC’s ‘Meet the Press’ Chuck Todd presented Clinton with a montage of her political flip-flops for political expediency. Not only does she blame the IT folks and her lawyers for dealing with her emails, she also brought up her old favorite … her email scandal is a right-wing conspiracy. Good grief Hillary, go back to the 90′s.

How can the United States ever elect such a dishonest individual as president? Its bad enough the American people don’t trust politicians, but Hillary may just be the face of that establishment, say anything for a vote, pander to the people politician.

Full Meet the Press transcript.

From Legal Insurrection:

Meet the Press host Chuck Todd set the stage for Hillary to explain her flip flops over the decades by showing a montage of clips from yesteryear.  Hillary, clearly prepared for the video and the line of questioning, assured Todd that her flip flops are not political expediency but are instead the same as Obama’s “evolution” on issues. Watch:

The goal here, I think, is to let her address the issues that matter to the Democrat base—her Iraq war vote, same-sex “marriage,” and the Keystone pipeline—and get them out of the way so she can move forward without them hanging over her head.  What better way to sell this than as the same moves Obama made with such success among the party’s base?

Other segments of the interview didn’t go quite as well for Hillary (here’s the transcript of the interview).  Her claims of victimhood (that vast rightwing conspiracy yet again), transparency, and ignorance didn’t sit well with many viewers, including Ron Fournier of The National Journal and Andrew Stiles of The Washington Free Beacon.

Donald Trump in NBC ‘Meet the Press’ Interview … It Would Be a ‘Miracle’ if Hillary Continues Run

In his interview on “Meet the Press,” Donald Trump discussed many issues including conservatism, abortion, third party run, immigration and Hillary Clinton. Trump stated, that he believed it would be a miracle if Hillary Clinton continues to run. I have to disagree with The Donald here. Unless Hilary Clinton is arrested and perp walked to prison, she will continue to run for president because the Democrats could care less what she has done or continues to do. From her smugness in joking about Instagram, she is just laughing at a federal crime that she committed.

Donald Trump said it would be a “miracle” if Hillary Clinton is able to continue her run for president in the wake of the controversy surrounding her use of a private email server to conduct official business as Secretary of State — but if she does, he’ll beat her.

“I think [Clinton] may not be able to run, to be honest, because this whole email thing is a horrible thing,” he said in an interview conducted by NBC’s Chuck Todd.

Trump likened her situation to that of General David Petraeus, who resigned as director of the CIA after his affair with his biographer was uncovered, and later accused to have shared classified materials with her. The controversy surrounding Clinton’s email use intensified this month as reports revealed the FBI was investigating the security of her private server.

“General Petraeus, his life has been destroyed. And he did 5% of what she did,” Trump said. “So assuming she’s able to run — which would be absolutely, to me, a miracle at this point — I will beat her.”

NBC’s Meet the Press – David Gregory Out, Chuck Todd in as Moderator

David Gregory out at Meet the Depressed Press …

David Gregory ended last week’s August 10th show  (48:30 of VIDEO)  with the closing line … “That is all for today. We’ll be back next week. If it’s Sunday, it’s Meet the Press.”  NO SOUP FOR YOU!!!

OUT WITH THE OLD … It’s official, David Gregory is out as moderator of NBC’s ‘Meet the Press’. And, not just leaving the show but the network as well. Gregory tweeted, “I leave NBC as I came – humbled and grateful. I love journalism and serving as moderator of MTP was the highest honor there is.” Meet the Press has fallen upon hard times since the unexpected passing of Tim Russert going from the #1 Sunday talk show to #3. IN WITH THE NEW … NBC News political director Chuck Todd is in as the new moderator and his first show will be September 7. MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell will fill in this weekend as moderator, which means that Gregory’s last show was last weekend and there was no goodbye send off. That’s cold.

The announcement confirmed widespread speculation that David Gregory, the moderator of the Sunday morning public affairs program for the past six years, would be replaced by Todd, the NBC News political director.

Not only is Gregory leaving “Meet the Press,” he is also leaving the network. His next career move is not yet known.

“The next-generation ‘Meet the Press,’ led by Chuck Todd, is certain to be the must-watch political destination on Sundays and beyond,” NBC News president Deborah Turness said in an internal memorandum that doubled as the network’s announcement.

Todd’s first day on “Meet the Press” will be September 7. Veteran NBC correspondent and MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell will fill in this weekend. In other words, last week was Gregory’s last edition of “Meet the Press” — though the viewers didn’t know that at the time.

Sorry, but whether it be David Gregory, Chuck Todd or pretty much anyone for that fact … they will be no Tim Russert. Although Russert was a lib, he was not so overt and obviously bias about it. Not the case with Grgory and as NewsBusters shows us in their post of the Top 10 List of the Most Liberal Outbursts from the New ‘Meet the Press’ Host, neither is Chuck Todd. It won’t matter who NBC picks as the moderator of Meet the Press because they will be just another liberally bias shill.

NY Times Columnist David Brooks States: “Obama Has a Manhood Problem in the Middle East … Is He Tough Enough …?”

OUCH, Obama has a manhood problem in the Middle East, subtitled … Obama wears mom jeans.

New York Times columnists David Brooks went there this past Sunday on Meet the Press, questioning whether Barack Obama has the “co-jones” to deal with tough situations like in the Middle East and against a leader like Russia’s Vladimire Putin … “[L]et’s face it. Obama, whether deservedly or not, does have a, I’ll say it crudely, but a manhood problem in the Middle East. Is he tough enough to stand up to somebody like Assad, somebody like Putin?” NBC’s Chuck Todd said during the round table, “Internally they fear this”.

David Brooks: “And let’s face it, Obama, whether deservedly or not, does have a — I’ll say it crudely, but a manhood problem in the Middle East,” Brooks said. “Is he tough enough to stand up to somebody like Assad or Putin? A lot of the rap is unfair, but certainly in the Middle East, there’s an assumption he’s not tough.”

Chuck Todd: “Internally they fear this. It’s not just Bob Corker saying it, questioning whether the president is being alpha male — that’s essentially what he’s saying, he’s not alpha dog enough, his rhetoric isn’t tough enough. They agree with the policy decisions, but it’s the rhetoric. Internally, this is a question.”
