Natalee Holloway July 5, 2005: Beth Holloway Gives Press Conference After Kalpoe Brothers Released from Jail, Calls Kalpoe’s Criminals … As Joran Van der Sloot Sits in a Peru Prison
A Tale of Two Murders, Two Investigations and Two Prosecutions. Never could two cases with the same suspect(s) be handled so differently.
As the murder case continues against Joran Van der Sloot in the death of 21 year old Stephany Flores in Peru, we cannot help but think back and make comparisons to what was going on in Aruba five years earlier. What a drastic change of events and how the Aruban and Peruvian law enforcement. prosecutors and judges handled the two cases. After all, both Natalee Holloway and Stephany Flores were murdered on the same day, five years apart and the common denominator was Joran Van der Sloot.
Flashback, July 5, 2005, Beth Holloway gives the now famous press conference (audio can be heard HERE) following the release of Deepak and Satish Kalpoe the day before.
Beth Twitty just gave an emotional statement that to paraphrase said: She is very disappointed with the Aruban Justice System. She thinks that the Kalpoe brothers are criminals and that it is an injustice to have the boys who are free to walk amongst the citizens of Aruba. Also, Beth made the request that the Kalpoe brothers not be allowed to leave the country. Here is the transcript. It is now that I ask the world to help me. Two suspects were released yesterday who were involved in a violent crime against my daughter. These criminals are not only allowed to walk freely among the tourists and citizens of Aruba, but there are no limits where they may choose to travel. I am asking all mothers and fathers in all nations to hear my plea.
Beth Holloway went on to say the following:
I implore you … Do not allow these two suspects, the Kalpoe brothers, to enter your country until this case is solved. Do not allow these criminals to walk among your citizens. Help me by not allowing these two to get away with this crime. “I am asking this in the name of my beautiful, intelligent, outstanding daughter who I haven’t seen in 36 days and for whom I will continue to search until I find her”.
We flash-forward five years to witness how the Peruvian people reacted when Joran Van der Sloot was arrested and brought before the Peruvian judge to face the music.

Joran Van der Sloot, In the End Justice Will be Served for Natalee Holloway & Stephany Flores, Does it Matter How Long?
JUSTICE FOR NATALEE … JUSTICE FOR STEPHANY.
Local CBS Birmingham, Alabama TV 42 ran a story regarding how long justice will take in the case of Joran Van der Sloot. The question that needs top be asked is, what difference does it make how long it takes to hold Joran Van der Sloot accountable for the crimes against Natalee Holloway in Aruba and Stephany Flores in Peru? As long as JUSTICE is served!
It could take years to unravel the multiple mysteries of Joran van der Sloot and the women alleged to be his victims.
So what’s taking so long to achieve more than speculation? You have multiple countries, multiple jurisdictions. Van der Sloots a Dutch citizen living in Aruba suspected of crimes involving Peruvian and American citizens. He was arrested in Chile and has recently been indicted by Federal officials in Birmingham of wire fraud and extortion for allegedly taking money from the Holloway family for information about Natalee…and then providing no information. More on extortion indictment.
For the many who have followed the disappearance and death of Natalee Holloway since 2005, they have already waited 5+ years for justice for Natalee. The family of Natalee Holloway has also been through 5+ agonizing, roller coaster years dealing with the cover-up, deceit, corruption on cronyism in Aruba and the lies, confessions, retractions and sociopath game playing of Joran Van der Sloot.
Joran Van der Sloot has been arrested multiple times, been interrogated on many occasions and confessed too many times to keep count, only to be not formerly prosecuted by Aruban legal authorities because as they claim, he lies. Well no kidding folks, the sun also rises in the East, what difference does that make? Aruba has been dodging their responsibility in the case of the death and disappearance of Natalee Holloway since she first went missing. As Scared Monkeys initially wrote when the Alabama teen went missing, “This Can’t Be Good For Tourism, Where’s Natalee Holloway.” When a Caribbean island is so dependent upon tourism, it was obvious from the start that they would do every thing possible to downplay the event. Of course what Aruba never imagined or counted on was the determination of Beth Holloway who was a one woman wrecking crew in Aruba and for their tourism PR looking for answers as to what happened to her daughter.

Indicted Killer of Stephany Flores … Joran Van der Sloot Sues First Attorney Luz Romero Chinchay with Misrepresentation (Lawyer & Homicide Squad Chief Sued)
Joran Van der Sloot’s sociopath game playing continues …
In the end Joran Van der Sloot is nothing more than your typical jail house convict who looks to sue every one and any thing in order to get out of the crime that he committed. Joran Van der Sloot, indicted in the murder of 21 year old Stephany Flores in Peru, is suing his first attorney that represented him for misrepresentation, abuse of authority and conspiracy to commit a crime.
Joran van der Sloot is suing a lawyer who represented him during a police interrogation that officials say resulted in a confession to killing a Peruvian woman.
His current attorney, Maximo Altez tells The Associated Press he filed suit Friday charging attorney Luz Romero Chinchay with misrepresentation, abuse of authority and conspiracy to commit a crime. Altez says the initial lawyer “pretended to be a public advocate.”
Altez says the other lawyer is not on the list of public defenders.
Altez said he also has filed suit charging the same offenses against Col. Miguel Canlla, chief of the police homicide squad, who led the interrogation.
Does any one notice the sick irony that Joran Van der Sloot is claiming that there was a conspiracy to get him to confess to the murder by his former attorney and the police when five years earlier in Aruba there was nothing but an obvious cover up, corruption and cronyism.

Joran Van der Sloot Wants to Extort $1 Million from Media for Exclusive TV Interview
I will tell the truth for $1 million … Joran Van der Sloot continues his manipulative, sick and sociopath games.
Joran Van der Sloot, the suspect in the first degree murder of Stephany Flores in Peru and Natalee Holloway in Aruba in 2005, wants $1 million from the media for an exclusive TV interview. PLUEZE! Van der Sloot claims he wants it for his legal defense. If any one in the media is that ignorant to pay a habitual liar who has already gone on media outlets numerous times and lied about his involvement in the death and disappearance of Natalee Holloway, a have a bridge to sell you.
I’ll lie to you for $1 million ….
New York Post, amongst others, announced the aforementioned. According to the newspaper, Joran also wants this more than generous compensation from Dutch TV-producer Global Star Media, who also held the interview with Anita van der Sloot. According to reports, an amount above one hundred thousand dollars was paid for that interview. Notorieties-blog popeater.com reported this yesterday and bases such on sources within the TV-industry. For instance, a media executive in the blog states that an interview with Joran behind bars would yield ‘extremely high ratings’. “If you see what the actors from comedy series Friends are paid per 30-minute episode, then the one million dollars from Joran is a bargain.”
Joran Van der Sloot is a one trick pony. Commit a crime, lie about it, make a confession, retract the confession and then go on TV and get paid by the media to spew his lies, feed his narcism and profit from his crimes. MEDIA, WHAT PART ABOUT JORAN VAN DER SLOOT BEING A SOCIOPATH DON”T YOU FOLKS GET?
Scared Monkeys already has the VIDEO of Joran’s lies and we will predict what he will say so you do not have to waste your money and pay a dirt bag so that a criminal can profit from his crimes. Joran Van der Sloot will say, it was not my fault, I am innocent, I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, TWICE. It was not my fault, I wanted to leave the beach and Natalee wanted me to stay … Stephany violated my space and I defended my self. Does anyone really think that Joran Van der Sloot will tell the media anything when he faces murder charges? GIVE ME A BREAK.
