Barack Obama … Hate Speech from your 20 Year Reverend Wright Against Whites and America … JUST WORDS!!!

Hey Obama … “God damn America!”JUST WORDS!!!

“Mr Obama knows what it means living in a country and a culture that is controlled by rich, white people; Hillary would never know that, Hillary ain’t never been called a ni&&er”. JUST WORDS!!!

We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans “and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back to our own front yards.” … JUST WORDS!!!

(Watch video HERE) Obama, who wants to lecture us that words are more than words will today attempt to tell us that words that hurt his political aspirations are merely words not to be listened to. You call that CHANGE?

Today Barack Obama will do what all politicians do when they find themselves in the midst of a political fire storm … lie to the people in order for the issue to go away. Does this sound like a candidate of CHANGE? Or just another political candidate who was discovered for what they really are? Barack Obama will make a speech today to address his relationship with the Reverend Wright and his hate filled comments about America and the white race.

Obama will attempt to lecture us on Race. Isn’t that priceless. This coming from the candidate who wanted everyone to believe he was about change, judgement and able to cross the divide of white and black America. After having been witness to the hateful and racist words of Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Barack Obama’s pastor and religious adviser for 20 years, everyone best take a good look at what the media is calling a uniter. Only now Obama wants to address this issue in hopes it goes away.

We are supposed to believe that in 20 years that Barack Obama never knew or had never seen or heard such comments come from Wright’s pulpit. Is that really believable? Hardly! Isn’t it amazing that Obama only now really wishes to address these racially charged comments because its about his political career, not his character.

Let us be reminded of some truly great words that one does not get to use just because of the color of their skin, but because of the content of their character.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

People know racism when they hear it. Hate knows no color. How is it that Obama could be in a church with this type of message for 20 years and not see what was right in front of him. The answer is … he did not want to. Only now when it may affect his political career does Obama care and want to address the problem. No one wants to hear excuses or the good that Wright has done for his people. The KKK and other racists have done good by their people too. That is how they keep them in line and coming back for more.

Obama … you have lost the right to speak to us about RACE. You are obviously not a man of all the people. That message rings loud and clear.

I hope all the voters that voted for him feel like jerks today. Take what his wife said about feeling proud for the first time. Now add what his pastor said and his true colors are starting to show. At least with Hillary you know what you get. The country was better off under Bill than Bush.

If anything, I hope this whole thing causes Americans to take one further step towards truly being and treating each other with respect and equality.

What I mean by this is when a white person uses the “n-word” it almost causes a race riot. Yet Black youth – in general – under the age of 25 call each other the “n-word” day and night. You don’t see riots taking place over use of the “n-word” from within the club. Let’s hear some of Jeremiah’s sermons where he lambasts the ‘black community’ for their misconduct towards each other. I’ll be there aren’t any.

Or how about the “black values code” propagated by Jeremiah’s church? This further creates hatred and reverse-racism amongst his followers that drink the Kool-Aid.

The race card has been played far, far too long. How can an immigrant from Kenya come to the United States, drive cab or work at a dry cleaners, save enough money to start their own business, and become successful…in this country full of bigots and racism. The reality is, most ‘white folk’ want everyone in America to be successful and will support them in their quest. May not have been that way forty years ago…but it is the way today.

It would be in Obama’s best interests at this point in time, instead of denying the reverse-racism propagated by the ‘black community’ today against all other ethnicities…and say upon reflection of what was going on at that church that he is appalled and that what that church was doing was the exact thing that is tearing America apart. We are the melting pot and his church does not want to be a part of that melting pot…and thus, Obama should resign his membership, disavow that churches teachings and fully explain point by point why those teachings are wrong, and join a congregation that does not see people as colors, but as human beings.

End the reverse racism Obama…America is getting tired of it.

I hope someone can clarify this for me.

The statement is being made that this is how it is said and done in Black Churches, being almost a cultural issue. Well, I belong to a church that is very diversified. White, Black, Asian, and Hispanic, our Pastors do not talk like this. If Reverend White is only stating the way Black people feel, then why does our Church have more that half Black parishioners? Our Church is nothing like Obama’s; I think if our Pastor had said anything remotely shadowing Rev White’s statements, the Church would have emptied out pronto. Our Church does not imply racism.

    10. Richard on March 18th, 2008 10:59 am

One wonders to what degree Hillary is going to speak out about this issue. I’m sure that she’s afraid of alienating Obama supporters. Seems to me it makes more political sense for her to keep mum and let the media do the work on Obama.

That might not be the morally correct path … but I’ve long since given up on the idea that anyone seeking political office will put anything ahead of ‘How do I get votes?’ calculations.

So, is it safe now to actually call Obama what he really is? He is a racist, white hating, America hating, black/white man. Inexperienced to boot! We are beyond whether or not Obama is liberal or conservative. Who wants to listen to this hate speech for the next four years? What are all of the Hollywood types going to do now? Will it be politically correct to support a black racist?

    13. tuyvnsurvivor on March 18th, 2008 12:22 pm

I would like to ask of Rev White or any like talker, ‘How can you slap in the face whites who have tried to help or do the right things for years, decades’? That being, ‘you’re painting with the full width brush. Do you care so little, where did you leave your appreciation…none, then where is the exception? Did I not learn appreciation and exception of you? I think talk like that is easily identified racisum.’ I feel Obama is guilty by long term membership, and it is even fully leaked by his wife’s statements in the recent past. Personally, I would feel as guilty if I attended a hate rally facility only to play dominoes each Fri night. Reverence to the message, messenger and bowing for the premium discourse — would compound that guilt.

The other sad aspect of this shows Barak Obama is either ignorant (which I seriously doubt) or does not care a wit about history. The history behind 9/11 is already being re-written by persons of Wright’ ilk; his comments about Israel and the Palestinians show a total disregard of history. The facts of history is that there are direct links between the Third Reich and Islamo- Fascism today. Barak Obama condones the Rev. Wrights words by his support of his church for so many years, and worse Obama has stated that he believes these persons (Terrorist leaders) who will not stop until the USA, Israel and other nations are destroyed can be diplomatically reasoned with is down right dangerous.

Please reference this article for about the facts of history I am speaking about:

i’m not an obama supporter but i did watch the speech & thought it was brilliant.

while i can’t get passed the point that obama saw fit to raise his children in that church, listening to that type of hatred, i also can’t get passed hillary’s silence in order to court black votes.

i don’t think that different races within the united states realize just how insulting white people view their separate organizations & freebies. they were the ones who are quick to point out that separate is not equal… unless it benefits them. this mentality produces more dis-chord.

if the reverend were a white minister making these statements against people of color it would have gotten much more negative publicity. neither situation is right.

    17. Miklo on March 18th, 2008 2:21 pm

      Something to consider…

The echo effect of Spitzer’s news was going to hurt the CLintons. So the Hillary & Co pulled out this Rev. Wright story just to deflect attention away from themselves and slam Obama just before the Penn Primary!

The trouble is… this Obama “thang” has legs. As always, the Clintons play dirty and save the best for last…

Frankly, the Clintons scare me more than Obama, Farrakhan, and Jeremiah Wright COMBINED!

    18. Open a Window on March 18th, 2008 2:55 pm

Many simply think that it is impossible for a black person to be a racist. Picture the Reverend Wright as a white man making these same comments about black America. Picture Mr. Obama as a white man saying that he was going to stay in this church because the Reverend was like an uncle to him. Does it sound racist and hate filled now? Not only racist but pretty vulgar for a good Reverend. (Did you hear his Monica Lewinsky comments? In church!?)

Think of the grief that people were given for daring to think of just speaking at Bob Jones University. The excuse makers are out in force now; Conservatives are trying to derail Obama. Obama has sat in that church for twenty years but he really doesn’t believe what Reverend Wright says. In fact he never heard this before. Oops, maybe he did hear but it is just how black people talk. Nothing malicious here. Let us not forget the financial scandals that were brewing before this latest trouble.)

Some day we will have a black President, but this is not the man for the job. Hold Mr. Obama to the same standards as the other candidates.

OBUMA WANTS TO REASON WITH THE TERRORISTS BECAUSE ? FIGURE IT OUT. HE WON’T SALUTE THE FLAG, WON’T PUT HIS HAND ON HIS HEART DURING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM ! SOUNDS LIKE HE HAS A MUCH DIFFERENT AGENDA THAN WHAT HE TELLS IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA. HE COULD VERY WELL TURN US OVER TO THE TERRORISTS . THINKS ABOUT IT !

      #17 Miklo,
First, I am Republican. What do you think is dirty about exposing the truth about Obama? If he thought the reverend’s talk was bad he should not have continued going to that church. Was that the only church in town? I do not care if he is black or purple but I am worried that after all the events over the last 7 years we might elect a muslim who does not have any patriotism (not a good combination) with a wife with no patriotism and his closest associates over the last 10-20- years are hate mongers and he put one of them as his spiritual advisor. That does not seem to be the way that I would think you would disassociate yourself from someone.

      From wsj.com’s Political Dairy

      Quote of the Day:

“Rev. [Jeremiah] Wright drives a wedge into the central contradiction of Obama’s campaign — an orthodox liberal politician who rose to prominence in a left-wing milieu in Chicago and has never broken with his party on anything of consequence is campaigning on unifying the country. There is nothing particularly unifying about Obama’s past and his voting record. The senator has risen on his words, and will be hard-pressed to talk his way out of his long, jarring association with the gleefully divisive Rev. Wright” — National Review editor Rich Lowry.

    22. katablog on March 18th, 2008 8:35 pm

#18 I watched the speech too, but there must have been two speeches because the one I saw was not brilliant – unless you are talking about Obama holding a speech and doing a deflect to say that it’s really white American’s fault that Jeremiah Wright is bitter and angry.

I saw Obama making excuses for speech which he should be the first to say “there is no excuse for this type of speech anywhere, anyhow by anyone”.

If we excuse racism, then its saying it has a place or purpose.

I saw a man in deep doo-doo who thought he could quickly overcome it by giving America a quick history lesson on slavery.

Obama had a lot of “right” things in his speech but the excuse game didn’t play well and it wiped out anything else he said.

    23. yoyo muffintop on March 18th, 2008 8:41 pm

Did anyone listen to his speech today? Brilliant. That speech will be talked about for years to come if he becomes President, imo.
Who else while running for office has had the courage to initiate a genuine discussion about race relations in America? No one that I can recall.
This is how a person prepares for the presidency – Senator Obama will survive this vetting & crucible and be stronger in November.

If he beats Hillary…he’ll turn warmonger McCain into mince meat, imo.

      Presidential politics rocks!

    24. yoyo muffintop on March 18th, 2008 9:57 pm

katablog: you say “…a deflect to say that it’s really white American’s fault that Jeremiah Wright is bitter and angry.”

That’s not a deflect, that’s recent history. Who’s fault was it that blacks had to ride in the back of the bus, drink at different water fountains, etc etc?
Older blacks still have anger over the segregation they experienced when they were younger and he recognized that sometimes they, including Wright, express that.
      That’s fair, don’t you think?

    26. Mike on March 18th, 2008 11:41 pm

      yoyo,

I understand the frustration and anger from someone that lived through that but obama was not even born when desegregation was ordered. also he has a black father and white mother and guess who left and who raised him????? the black race is making a lot of progress since they have realized that it starts with the black man taking some responsibility for himself and his children and family. blacks have more opportunities than the average white person. i want the black race to step up and make themselves better because it will make America stronger. I lived through all of the earlier hatred. I sat there and watched the bus burn in alabama. it was ugly and i am not proud but i do not think that obama’s idea of change should be to drag us back to the time of segregation along with the klan and all the hatred. I think America has afforded obama a pretty good opportunity of which he is doing a good job of flushing down the toilet. i would like to hear from him what he actually plans to try and do to fix the economy, get health care for people, jobs for people, etc. At this time i do not feel he has enough experience in these areas and especially in world affairs. I feel like he has been rushed to the forefront too early. You think it is ugly now just wait and see what happens if he gets the nomination. I personally believe this is going to put a dent in his momentum.

    27. yoyo muffintop on March 19th, 2008 12:34 am

Uhhh yeah, this whole discrimination thing just one big mass black delusion. You know, the white man is always thinkin’ the brothers got it better.
In 1963, before there was a Civil Rights Act to outlaw even the most blatant racial discrimination, 60 percent of whites said that blacks were treated equally in their communities. In 1962, only 8 years after the Brown decision outlawed segregation in the nation’s schools (but well before schools had actually moved to integrate their classrooms – Remember University of Mississippi/MS Governor Ross Barnett as an example), a stunning 84 percent of whites were convinced that blacks had equal educational opportunity.

    28. brie on March 19th, 2008 7:49 am

Obama is nothing more than dip s~~t! Brilliant..far from it..very bright, striking, distinctive, distinguished by unusual keenness or alertness…well, I guess that eliminates him…he’s a black racist and a disgrace to his white mother…

From YOYO: >>>>That’s not a deflect, that’s recent history. Who’s fault was it that blacks had to ride in the back of the bus, drink at different water fountains, etc etc?>>>>>>>>>

Don’t know how old you are yoyo, but 1) that’s not recent history since I was about 4 years old. *I* and hardly anyone alive made blacks ride in the back of buses or segregated them in any way. 2)There are a lot of things that happened to me (unlike Obama) that if I dwelt on, I would be one very angry person – instead I learned to let go of the past and look to changing the future.

Guess you also missed the part of Obama’s speech where he talked about the angry white man and immigrant who thinks they’ve worked hard for everything they got. We can choose to all walk around angry for everything negative that’s happened to us at the hands of others, or we can move on.

There is NO excuse for racism, including anger. If we allow Wright to be a racist because of anger then we have to allow all others to also be angry because of their experience of history.

Should I be a racist because when I was 18 years old a black man approached me on a street and flashed himself, scaring me to death? Do I turn around and make this incident “all black men” or do I get over it and move on?

Should Americans hold what happened to truck driver Denny during riots against all blacks; or do they move on?

    32. brie on March 19th, 2008 8:15 am

Don’t give the excuse of sitting in the back of the bus or separate drinking fountains….it is not that way today…but if you continue maybe we need to put that back into play…

    33. katablog on March 19th, 2008 8:18 am

#27 so YoYo: Are you saying the White Americans now have a right to be racists because they are angry that their children are sitting on buses for hours to be bussed to integrate schools?

Do you have a problem with black churches that make whites unwelcome?

    34. brie on March 19th, 2008 8:32 am

Stop bussing the children….they don’t like it…have to get up in the wee hours of the morning…and besides that in retaliation they are destroying our neighborhoods…..!!!

    35. Richard on March 19th, 2008 9:23 am

Did anyone notice that the stage on which Obama gave his speech was festooned with American flags?

That same symbol of his country that he was reluctant to embrace … of course, now that he is in trouble politically, guess what he does….

Obama undoubtedly is a competent speaker and an intelligent person, but I agree with what Katablog says above; the sermon on racial issues is an attempt to divert our attention from the REAL issue here, which is what his minister/spiritual advisor/whatever had to say, and his apparent association with this guy.

Again, were President Bush to hear such stuff at church, what do you think the media would do?

Incidentally, the media commentators to me seemed all too anxious to give Obama a free pass on this one. Most of them shunned reference to the real issue or skirted over it.

(Question: Why is it that every news item has to have fifty ‘media commentators’? Why not just give the facts and move on?)

I also happened to see that Hillary put on her own twist, saying something like ‘racial and gender issues’ have permeated the campaign.

A poll today apparently says that Obama’s lead over Hillary has evaporated. Again, I quote Shakespeare: “A plague on both your houses!”

    36. Miss-Underestimated on March 19th, 2008 10:54 am

I am lost here? So Wright wants to be seperate but equal?

Other than the Klu Klux Klan is there a group or church or school or education fund or whatever, that is just for the WHITE people? Fill me in I am doing some research here.

    37. Mike on March 19th, 2008 10:55 am

      yoyo,

you are just as ignorant about politics as you are with the Hollaway case. Luckily there will be enough intelligent black and white people to realize that obama is not the answer.

    38. yoyo muffintop on March 19th, 2008 11:44 am

Mike says: “blacks have more opportunities than the average white person.”

Obama might not be “the answer” as you say…but that statement you made above is all that’s needed to show your level of intelligence and/or ignorance.

    39. txchic on March 19th, 2008 1:06 pm

let’s get this straight. i said that the speech was “brilliant”, not obama. i was merely comparing the speech against other race based speeches & speeches given in attempt to dig a politician out of a hole.

i can’t imagine that reverend wright’s hate for white people wasn’t seared into obama’s memory the same as his grandmother’s racist comments.

the billarys have been holding on to this for months (if not longer). if they had any respect for the american people, billary’s camp would have leaked this long ago.

i’m afraid that mccain’s plan to run a “fair” race will be lost if he runs against the clintons & their dirty politics.

    40. IndependentVoter on March 19th, 2008 1:06 pm

Why didn’t Obama heal his church of the racial hatred expressed by the congregation on those videos, since he thinks he has the answers to “heal” what he perceives to be “race problem” in the US? I wonder if the Trinity parishioners would be as open to change by Obama as his followers are.

    41. Open a Window on March 19th, 2008 3:16 pm

      #40 excellent point.

was it martin luther king who said something about good men doing nothing at all.

      does anyone know that quote?

    43. Mike on March 19th, 2008 5:30 pm

      YOYOASS,

I am sorry you do not agree, but I will give you one small example. A black girl from our city high school which is one of the worst in the state graduated with a 3.0 gpa and got a full scholarship to state college with a guaranteed admission to their medical college. My daughter graduated from a college prep school as valedectorian with a 4.2 gpa.
No school offered a guaranteed admission to medical school. Do you think the black girl got that offer because of her GPA. Guess again dumbass!!! We have built about 150 Habitat for Humanity homes here and all were for black families and most were 1 parent families. Guess which parent. All this being said, I do not have a problem with the opportunities being put out there for them. The problem is with trash like you that tries to pull us back into the 1960′s by thinking every white person is still out to get you.

    44. yoyo muffintop on March 19th, 2008 6:40 pm

Bitter? Black man keepin’ ya’ down?
Maybe your daughter didn’t shine as well in the “soft variables” such as the enthusiasm of recommenders, the quality of the applicant’s essay, etc. Colleges don’t just look at GPA, it’s also about their likely contributions to the intellectual and social life of the institution. Where have you been? And if you don’t like it talk to the Supreme Court. Or just call Justice O’Connor and have her explain.
Plenty of really good med schools out there – I’m sure your daughter will be fine.

Obama has NEVER had the courage to initiate a genuine discussion about race. The issue of race is taboo for a political candidate and He’s stayed clear of the subjet for years until Tuesday.

Obama’s been running a campaign based on “change you can believe in”. He’s tried to present to the white public that he’s young, fresh and unspoiled by political deceit. The issue now is: Will the real Obama please stand up. Obama is a Chameleon and he’s been playing the races for years and he got caught and believe me, this is just the tip of the iceberg!

Jeremiah Wright has over 8,000 congregants, is respected in black communities across the country, and has strong ties with other black leaders. Obama is an opportunist who partnered with Wright 20 years ago to advance his own political career by joining the church and denying his white side to gain credibility and support from the black community .

He told Wright over a year ago that he couldn’t give the public prayer at his campaign kick off because it wouldn’t look good with the white people. So he deceitfully had Wright say a prayer for him in private just before the kick off. After he was called out about his relationship with Wright just recently, he tried to distance himself again, this time with a lie.It didn’t work. The dumb whites weren’t buying the “he’s nothing more then a cranky old uncle to me” story.

The coward sat on what to do for 6 days while watching the news and sorting out with his campaign advisers how to get himself out of the mess he created. He had to decide which approach would be the lesser of the two evils:

      1. Confess that he lied about the extent of his relationship with Wright, which is the real issue, or, 2. Deflect and spin the fact that he’s been speaking out of both sides of his mouth for YEARS by promoting this as a race issue. He obviously chose the deflect and spin route which I guess is “how a person prepares for the presidency” (yoyo).

So, not only does he give an irrelevant off-topic BS speech, but in front of millions of people on national television he compared his 90 year old grandma’s racism (who’s not even able to defend herself)with Jeremiah Wright’s filthy brand of racism.

For anyone who doesn’t know this already, the “racist” incident his grandma “confessed” is in his book. When Obama was a teenager, he came home one day to find grandma upset. She didn’t want to tell him why but he pushed her for an answer. She explained how she was intimidated by a man asking her for money while she was at the bus stop. She gave the man money but he kept asking for more and more. she had become so frightened by him that she said she thought he was going to hit her. Never once during the story did she tell her beloved dark skinned Obama that the man was black (in his speech he has her directly confessing her fear of black men to him). Obama still couldn’t understand why grandma was so shaken up over this. He talked to his grandfather who during the course of their conversation told Obama that the man at the bus stop was black. Obama writes in his book that at that moment he felt as if he were just punched in his gut.

So there you have it. That’s his cleverly created version of his racist grandma that he compared with the disgusting Jeremiah Wright. The woman raised him from the time he was 10 yrs old and in return he uses her in the worst way. You better believe that grandmothers of every race and political party are livid over Obama’s comparison and rightfully so.

When it comes to advancing his political career, obama has no moral boundries whatsoever. There was nothing brilliant about the speech he gave. Brilliant speeches unite. Obama’s speech was polorizing…just like everything this man does.

yoyo you need to get your head out of your behind.

we have the same problem here with hispanic students. white students don’t play on the same field as students of other races. most of us are FED UP with it.

people want race based scholarships, yet that’s not good enough. they also want an edge on any other scholarships in the name of racial diversity. most people aren’t 100% any race. it’s all bull$hit.

Thank you for your concern but my daughter graduated summa cum laude and is in her second year of med school. But you need to do a little research about what it takes to get into medical school. It is not too often anyone gets into medical school with a 3.0 GPA and not having to worry about their MCAT score so YES I consider that a pretty good opportunity and she sure as hell would not have gotten it if she was not black. The scholarship is limited to the black race. Again I am glad there are opportunities out there for people like her. I am NOT complaining. I am just making the point that there are opportunities out there like I said. And lastly I do not care if you are black or purple, it will not change my opinion of you.

    49. maryd on March 19th, 2008 10:46 pm

Why is Obama considered a Black man? He is just as White as he is Black. In fact he was raised by White people. So why don’t we call him a White Man? Why doesn’t he go to a White Church (if there is such a thing)? And while I’m at it, Jeremiah Wright looks pretty white himself so if it turns out that he is part White than he’s just as responsible for slavery as I am.

      #47 misskatie (aka brie) – what’s prosak?

#48 Mike says: “But you need to do a little research about what it takes to get into medical school. It is not too often anyone gets into medical school with a 3.0 GPA and not having to worry about their MCAT score” I think it might be you that needs to do the research. You have to score at or above the national mean on the MCAT for any guarantee program (which happens to be a popular program amongst universities) to get into med school. So you’re wrong there. And don’t most of those programs require you to maintain a 3.2+ undergrad gpa as well? More for your research project. And how could you possible know if this person would not have gotten into med school, as you say, if she wasn’t black? I got a feeling you “know” this because you feel a black person could never get in on their own without help. At least that’s what you stated since there is zero possibility you know her final undergrad gpa & MCAT score.
Interesting story about your kid though.

#45 Lotte Lenya – I agree a little bit & disagree with most…but damn that was good! Nice. Since I’m going to Sin City in a few hours, I’ll give you a “lock”: Indiana -2 over Arkansas.

yoyo, you’ve completely missed the mark on this one.

programs such as this… (they do exist as i have a pre-med major child myself)… only take away from the accomplishments people of color attain when they reach these goals merely on their own merits.

    53. anon on March 20th, 2008 12:18 pm

      OK, first things first:

Obama is not a Muslim. We are talking about his Christian REVEREND, and I’m seeing statements that the problem is that Obama attended this church LONG people he got into politics. Think for a second, people.

Obama does not “denounce the American flag”. He denounces the empty practice of flag-waving in place of true patriotism, which is when people want to better their country and the lives of their countrymen, even if it means facing some tough truths.

Obama is not running as “a black man”. He is running as someone who wants America to be great for every faction of the American people – rich, poor, white, non-white, everyone. THIS, my friends, is a patriot.

Now for my main point. If y’all actually listened to the speech, you might notice how Obama denounced both the angry statements of black people and white people regarding race. He denounced the statements of Rev. Wright quite clearly, as well as the equally unfair statements of his white grandmother. Just because he attends Wright’s church does not mean he agrees with everything Wright says or thinks. Wright deals with the Church, Obama deals with the State, and that is EXACTLY as it should be.

Obama’s speech was important because he addressed the American people as adults. He brought up the complex history of race in America both then and now, because until you look at a problem with open eyes, you can’t fix shit. This means you have to listen to other people, even if you ultimately do not agree with them.

If you don’t like Obama or liberals or black people, whatever. But don’t make up shit to try to beef up your own (misguided) conceptions.

    54. anon on March 20th, 2008 12:29 pm

One more point – why aren’t you and the mainstream “liberal” media all decrying John McCain and his unfettered attempts to win the support of bigots Rob Parsley and John Hagee? Their statements are far more inflammatory and insulting that Rev. Wright’s comments, but I haven’t heard “boo” about it. Where’s this “Fair and Balanced” thing I keep hearing about?

      Because you previously said:
“You know, the white man is always thinkin’ the brothers got it better.”

Only blacks talk like that. If you’re not black, why are you trying to sound black?

You leave the reader only two options: 1. You are black. or 2. You are dishonest. It is to Mike’s credit that he assumed the better of you.

I will follow Mike’s example and assume you are not dishonest, but are actually black.

You have sprung the typical race trap on poor Mike. You highlight your “blackness” through some cultural affectation and when a white person notices it, bang, the trap slams shut, and he is a racist.

This is the main reason why there is animosity between the races. You want it both ways.

You demand dignity, but you also want to be pitied.

You want everyone to know you are just as capable as whites, but you also want preferential treatment.

You talk about how the white man has destroyed your culture, but you insist that black culture is not inferior to white culture in any way.

You want your own separate and distinct language, dress, moral values, etc., but whites cannot even acknowledge that a difference exists without being labeled a racist.

Mike said nothing wrong. He pissed you off, and you wanted to belittle him, so you manufactured a justification.

Haven’t you learned anything from Obama? You’re supposed to build bridges, not burn them.

      1. Obama’s church does not distinguish between Christians and Muslims, both are welcome.

      2. Muslims view Christianity as an incomplete form of Islam. So every Christian is a potential Muslim.

      3. All of Barack’s siblings and family on his father’s side are either Muslim or atheist.

      4. There is no law prohibiting a Muslim from becoming president, no law preventing a president from converting in office, and no law preventing someone from misrepresenting his faith during his campaign.

      5. In a Zogby poll, 45% said they would be less likely to vote for a candidate who was a Muslim.

Barack Obama is a closet Muslim. If he is elected president, you can kiss Israel goodbye and say hello to federally financed Islamization.

Obama’s church founded on radical creed

The church where Sen. Barack Obama has worshipped for two decades publicly declares that its ministry is founded on a 1960s book that espouses “the destruction of the white enemy.”

Trinity United Church of Christ’s Web site says its teachings are based on the black liberation theology of James H. Cone and his 1969 book “Black Theology and Black Power.”
