Barack Obama and “The Pitch” … Guess it’s a Good Thing He Did not Throw this Wimpy Pitch at Cominskey Field

It really is always about the pitch and the pitchman as to whether they can be trusted.

So not only does Barack Obama have no arm, he also has no clue as to the baseball parks name where he has claimed to be a fan of the White Sox for so many years. Cominskey Field? WHERE? That is correct, Obama botched the name  (VIDEO) of the home of his beloved White Sox. I guess his teleprompter did not make the trip to St. Louis.

“I do think that there’s a different quality to what used to be Cominskey Field vs. Wrigley,” President Obama told Bob Costas during an interview that aired during Tuesday night’s MLB All-Star Game.

I guess while sitting in the pews for 20 years, woops, I mean the seats at the ball park in Chicago, Barry O never heard the place referred to as Cominskey Park.

The President, being such a big baseball fan I guess maybe looking forward to attending games at Yankee Park or Fenway Stadium. Maybe he can find the time to have a date night with Michelle at Camden Field and watch the Orioles play? Great line from Hot Air, In fairness, The One’s worldview was shaped by someone whose name ended in -insky so you can see why he might have slipped.

Anything for a “Photo Op” to endear our No. 1 guy
to the folks he’s taking care of’. Barack, our
Natural Born Documented American President(hopefully)
puts his prowess on display to the cheering response of the crowd.
Sadly, the crowd took exception to the Team Jacket he had been instructed
to wear to the ‘First Pitch Throwing’.
(Yo, what’s a Boo or Two among friends?)

As the Anchoress aptly stated, the difference between Barack Obama and George W. Bush goes beyond the pitch. They make a fantastic comparison of the pitch vs. the pitchmen and how each President looks at the office of the Presidency. Which one do you think, Obama or GWB, is the Presidency of Me?

I see I was not the only one watching last night’s All-Star Game who wondered if David Axelrod had negotiated the bizarre angle (there is no other word for it, if you’re a baseball-watching fan) used to showcase President Barack Obama’s ceremonial “first pitch.” I have never seen a president throw a pitch, before, where the angle left out the catcher at the plate.

The difference between these two first pitches is not in the pitch, but in the pitchman – in the personality of the president; if you compare how each president is introduced, you find a microcosm of how each president sees himself and his presidency., and what I find most telling in those two clips is the way the president presents himself.

Is there anything real at all to Barack Obama?

Why such a big deal about the name of the ballpark. You can’t even get the name right yourself. It’s Comiskey Park.

Barry is very willing to demonstrate skills he does
not have. ‘Mangle-ment’ of Government Health Care
Power Grab and Carbon Confiscatory Taxation are
the next demonstrations planned for the People.

Barnum and Bailey should have it this good!

YoYo wants government health care, he likes the government controlling his life. Wonder why that is?

      Any guesses?

Figures Obama would be a black sox fan. Seems like he is following the business plan to a tee.

      Comiskey Park?

Let’s straighten this one out at least. Comiskey Park was retired in 2003 when the company U.S. Cellular paid good money for the naming rights.

As I support good old-fashioned laissez-faire capitalism, I choose to call it by its proper and appropriate name, i.e., U. S. Cellular Field. Anything less is a slam at the company who shelled out the rights to name the ballpark.

Surprised(not really) that President Obama did not know the name as it has been called that for 6 years already.

I’ll bet Michelle could have put a heater in there.

she would have had to buy some $500.00 baseball shoes for the walk on.
