Bounty Hunter Says He’s Revoking Bond Posted For Casey Anthony

Leonard Padilla is in the process of revoking bond as DNA results from FBI imply Caylee was dead in the trunk of Casey’s car.

As some are fleeing from this case, others like Tim Miller and Texas EquuSearch have joined the search for missing three year old Caylee Anthony. Those with their hearts in the right place trying to bring Caylee home. The search for Caylee Anthony will be assisted by non-profit volunteers from Texas EquuSearch.

5.8 Earthquake strikes near Los Angeles 3 miles from Chino Hills. I live south of the epicenter and this earthquake was the largest and most shaking I’ve felt in over 10 years. No damage in my area but I’m about 30-40 miles from the epicenter (klaasend).

UPDATE I: Earthquake downgraded to a 5.4. So far no reports of major damage or injuries.

Is Joran van der Sloot in a Psychiatric Hospital in the Netherlands?

According to yesterdays BonDia Aruba he is. Translation:

ORANJESTAD - Joran van der Sloot has spend the past week internally in a psychiatric Institute in the Netherlands. This was confirmed recently by his close family.

The motive of this was because Joran had flipped and wasn’t himself anymore. It therefore was necessary that he spend time internally and was given treatment necessary for a better health. This news did not come as a surprise here, to see the inner state van der Sloot was in and the way he was acting by which he involved himself in the case of Natalee Holloway.

A youngster of his age, getting so much negative attention will crack any minute. Comments one can hear on the news here, that this did not come as a surprise. In the past his family wanted to give psychiatric attention because of his bothersome actions within the family. There have been several attempts to have him undergoing treatment of a psychiatrist.

But in all instances Joran denied this and said he did not feel he needed a psychiatrist to help him with his alleged problems.

He answered that to do that he had decided to write a 351 pages counting book, titled “De zaak Holloway”, which he produced with the help of a female Dutch journalist. For Joran van der Sloot, the motive for this was it being a form of therapy, to make it possible for him to deal with all the things that had happened inside since the day since he met with Natalee Holloway 3 years ago.

The story has also been picked up by several Dutch papers that appear to be using BonDia as their source. In the Dutch articles Joran’s family is denying it:

If true, is it a strategy by his defense team to keep his mouth shut?

Or is it a ploy to keep him from being prosecuted?

If false, why is BonDia spreading false rumors? We will watch and update as the truth comes out.

UPDATE I: As of this afternoon no verification one way or the other from any “reliable” sources. The only source reporting it is BonDia and if not true, I hope they print a retraction.

UPDATE II: Reaction from Joran’s attorney in the Netherlands as reported in Dutch news

The family Van der Sloot at first denied the report yesterday, but via lawyer Bert de Rooij the family later on the day let out that they do not want to go into the report.

“After having consultated the people surrounding my client the decission has been made that I will not confirm the report nor deny it. Due to their explicit wishes I will no not let out anything about this”, according to de Rooij.

Decision regarding Joran van der Sloot’s arrest postponed until Wednesday

Aruban OM says the decision about arresting Joran will not be made until wednesday. The courts gave Jorans attorney until wednesday to make his “vision”about the case clear.

Natalee Holloway: TES headed back to Aruba

TES is scheduled to arrive in Aruba in about a week to conduct a deep water search to bring Natalee home. It’s been a long two and a half years of planning and we are finally in the position to accomplish our goal and bring this family some much needed closure. Only the efforts of TES and Underwater Expedition, guided by Louis Schaffer and Tim Trahan coupled with the equipment and vessel provided by John Silvetti with the Silvetti Group will make this happen. We are extremely grateful for these opportunities that have been made possible by these outstanding organizations. All the support over the last two and half years in the search for Natalee from around the world has been immeasurable.

ARUBA - Breaking news - Bone found North side of island!

24ora is reporting that a human bone has washed ashore on the north side of the island this morning.  It may have washed ashore do to the rough seas.

There has been no official update and no update on the 24ora site.  There has been mention in the local papers that the bones are possibly from crew members of an ancient ship wreck over 100 years old.
