Tiger Woods cancels Meeting with Police for Third Time, But Releases Statement … Tiger Hires Atty Mark Nejame

Tiger Woods has canceled a meeting with the police for the third time with regards to the SUV accident he had early Friday morning at 2:25 AM when he hit a fire hydrant and neighbors tree. The crash sent Tiger Woods, the world’s number one golfer, to the hospital where he would later be released.

This is rather interesting, Tiger Woods has hired Attorney Mark Nejame. Yes, the same Mark Nejame who at one time was the attorney for Cindy and George Anthony, the parents of tot mom Casey Anthony who is facing charges for the murder of her daughter Caylee Anthony. My it is a small world after all.

Mark NeJame is about to find out. The world’s No. 1 golfer has hired the high-profile Orlando defense attorney. NeJame will help guide Woods and his wife, Elin Nordegren Woods, through a public-relations thicket after the golfer injured himself in car accident outside his home early Friday. The incident has prompted worldwide speculation because of Woods’ stature and the Woods’ silence up to now on the crash.

This is rather interesting as it is being reported that Nejame will be working for both Tiger and Elin Woods to diffuse the PR situation. Woods has no legal obligation to give a statement to police, Tiger has to worry about other things like image and endorsement.

A spokeswoman for Florida Highway Patrol said the agency was contacted at about 1 p.m. by  local attorney Mark NeJame, who said he is now representing Woods. NeJame told FHP that its interview with Woods scheduled for today was canceled.

31 Year Old Italian Chef Angelo Faliva Missing Aboard “Coral Princess” Sailing from Aruba to Colombia

A cruise ship, a missing person and an Aruba reference, Oh My!

A 31 year old Italian chef, Angelo Faliva, has gone missing aboard the passenger cruise ship Coral Princess while sailing between Aruba and Columbia. It is believed Angelo Faliva went overboard. The FBI is investigating the disappearance.

The family suspects that there was an accident or homicide. Princess Cruises spokeswoman Julie Benson said that Faliva’s cabin had been sealed, the ship has been searched and its CCTV footage reviewed. However, no cameras captured video of a crew member going overboard. Much more can be read HERE.

The Reason for the Season … 72% of Americans Prefer Merry Christmas to Happy Holidays

With the Christmas season upon us, most Americans prefer “Merry Christmas” over using the term “Happy Holidays”. In a recent Rasmussen poll, 72% of Americans prefer Merry Christmas while only 22% like Happy Holidays. Like many things we witness recently, the nonsense PC world  are failing us and falling fast as people are realizing the dangers of a PC world. It is the reason for the season and why would anyone be offended by saying Merry Christmas. After all, it is about Peace on Earth and goodwill toward man. It is about tolerance and I would ask, who is being intolerant? Is it possible that the secularists are beginning to lose the War on Christmas.

Perhaps inevitably as with much of what is polled by Rasmussen Reports, there is a partisan difference on the question. Ninety-one percent (91%) of Republicans and 70% of adults not affiliated with either major political party like store signs that wish them a “Merry Christmas,” compared to just 58% of Democrats.

Last year, 68% of all adults wanted holiday signs to read “Merry Christmas,” while 25% preferred “Happy Holidays.”

It would appear that the preference for saying Merry Christmas is on the rise, up 4% from last year. What is puzzling is why so few Democrats have an issue saying Merry Christmas. What is the problem with saying Merry Christmas during what is the Christmas season? Would they say Happy Holidays during Easter as well? Why would Democrats prefer using a PC phrase like Happy Holidays which means pretty much nothing.

So to all Merry Christmas … Remember the reason for the season and what Christmas is all about.

Climategate Scandal, An Inconvenient Data Dump … They Threw Away Data that Predictions of Global Warming are Based Upon

File this one under complete and total fraud. How many scientists do you know throw away their original raw data that makes up and supports their hypothesis? Hmm? They were for providing the raw data before they realized they threw it all away.

Classic … the scientists accursed of manipulating climate change data have done a U-Turn and now stated that they will publish the data. The fact that the scandal and the story will not go away has forced the information to be released.

In a statement welcomed by climate change sceptics, the university said it would make all the data accessible as soon as possible, once its Climatic Research Unit (CRU) had negotiated its release from a range of non-publication agreements.

There just is one small issue … They destroyed the data. Yup, that is correct. The data behind the science that formulated global warming is gone. This is becoming absurd and pointing to a major conspiracy and fraud.

University of East Anglia (UEA) have admitted throwing away much of the raw data that went to predict global warming. Can everyone just admit that man made global warming is a fabricated fraud! CRU, UEA’s Climatic Research Unit, stated, “We do not hold the original raw data but only the value-added (quality controlled and homogenised) data.” You have got to be kidding!

SCIENTISTS at the University of East Anglia (UEA) have admitted throwing away much of the raw temperature data on which their predictions of global warming are based.

It means that other academics are not able to check basic calculations said to show a long-term rise in temperature over the past 150 years.

The UEA’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU) was forced to reveal the loss following requests for the data under Freedom of Information legislation.

The data were gathered from weather stations around the world and then adjusted to take account of variables in the way they were collected. The revised figures were kept, but the originals — stored on paper and magnetic tape — were dumped to save space when the CRU moved to a new building.

Oh no. For liberals, there has to be some insidious racism attached to any phrase, sentence or word with the use of the word black. Unreal.

BEHAR: Isn’t it a little racist to call it Black Friday?
GOLDBERG: Well, I would have called it African American Friday, but that’s taking something away from it.

As PJ Media states, “Wow, when even Whoopi Goldberg doesn’t see a conspiracy in something, you’re really going into unexplored PC territory”. Joy Behart comments that there is a negative connotation to it. A Preview of Obamacare: 81% of Voters Disagree with Government Rationed Health Care Mammogram Rules

There is a reason why America rejects the notion that there should not be early detection of breast cancer for woman in their 40’s. We have all been touched be the deadly disease of breast cancer and the battle against the dreaded cancer transcends genders.

There is a  reason why 81% of voters disagree the the new government rationed health care mammography  suggestions from the so called Government Task force independent panel. Only 8% agree with the panels recommendations that woman not get early screenings in their 40’s. It is about the hypocritic oath, not the bottom line.

A federal medical panel’s recommendation that women can now wait until age 50 to get a routine mammogram instead of age 40 is stirring up strong debate. The latest Rasmussen Reports survey finds that 81% of adults disagree with the panel’s recommendation. Just nine percent (8%) agree with the new guideline, and another nine percent (9%) are not sure.

Why did not many people go ballistic when these new rationed health care guide lines came out? Maybe because about 75% of people know some one who has had breast cancer. This coming at the most in opportune time has Americans do not trust and do not want government healthcare or suggestions that it should be rationed.

Some want to call it communications malpractice; however, let’s call it for what it really is … rationed care. It is the foot in the door for a government health care bureaucracy limiting medical services to save money. Let us get one fact completely straight without a liberal slant of its about the way the message was presented, not the actually message. There is a reason why the mortality rate in the US is greater for women diagnosed with breast cancer than Europe. It’s called early screening!!! The Gateway Pundit provides some great informational numbers to just how much better the US is a dealing with breast cancer than places like Europe with socialized health care.

Researchers discovered that it was because of breast cancer screenings that women with breast cancer have a 14 percent higher survival rate in the United States than in Europe. Breast cancer mortality is 52 percent higher in Germany than in the United States, and 88 percent higher in the United Kingdom. Breast cancer mortality is also 9 percent higher in Canada than in the US. Less than 25 percent of U.S. women die from breast cancer. In Britain, it’s 46 percent; France, 35 percent; Germany, 31 percent; Canada, 28 percent; Australia, 28 percent, and New Zealand, 46 percent.

AMERICA, why do you think that the US has such better survival rates from cancer than these other countries listed? Hmm? Because our health care system is broken like the agenda driven government control Democrats would like you to believe? It is called early detection and quality health care. Try telling a surviver of breast cancer that her mammogram was a waste.

Could this government panel have picked a worse form of cancer or manner to diagnose it than breast cancer and mammograms? In October during Brest Cancer Awareness month, the NFL supported the cause and designated games and gear to provide awareness. He-man football players who would never be caught wearing pink, proudly supported the Breast Cancer cause.

Sadly, just recently Stefanie Spielman, the wife of NFL and Ohio State star Chris Spielman who led a public fight against breast cancer, died after a lengthy battle with the disease. She was 42. Yes, that is correct Independent Government Health Care panel, she died of breast cancer before the age you even recommend that woman be provided mammograms.

Stefanie Spielman was 30 years old and three months pregnant in 1998 when she detected a lump in her breast. She later miscarried and discovered she had cancer. She survived four bouts with cancer before a fifth recurrence in March.

Chris Spielman was playing linebacker with the Buffalo Bills when he decided to give up football for a year to stay home with his wife and children. When his wife lost her hair because of chemotherapy treatments, he shaved his head.

Earlier this year breast cancer was thrust upon the PGA and the men’s golfing tour when Left, Phil Mickelson’s wife Amy was diagnosed with breast cancer. Mickelson left the tour to be with his wife as her treatments began. The visibility that breast cancer has been given has been tremendous because as so many have learned with this awful disease is that it does not discriminate.

49% of Americans Rate US Healthcare System Good or Excellent … Bad News For Obamacare

The health care polling trend spells doom for Obama and Democrats.

Why do Democrats and Barack Obama find themselves in a predicament for the upcoming 2010 and 2012 elections? One reason, among many, is that they are on the wrong side of history with Obamacare. 49% of voters say that the US health care system is good or excellent, while only 27% say that it is poor.

Forty-nine percent (49%) of voters nationwide now rate the U.S. health care system as good or excellent. That marks a steady increase from 44% at the beginning of October, 35% in May and 29% a year-and-a-half ago.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 27% now say the U.S. health care system is poor.

The trend has been that more and more Americans consider their present health care system good or excellent as more Americans than ever now oppose the government take over of healthcare …  56% now oppose Obamacare. However, the more that Americans resist Obamacare, the less Obama and Democrats listen to the people and cram it down their throats.

Presently, only 27% of voters thinks that the US health care system is poor. That is what Democrats can look forward to as their voting base in 2010.

Peggy Noonan pens a brutal and frank essay of Barack Obama and his bows, “He Can’t Take Another Bow: An icon of a White House that is coming to seem amateurish.’

He added that rather than bowing to emperors—Mr. Obama “seems to do this stuff spontaneously and inexplicably”—he should begin to bow to “the voices of experience” in Washington.

When longtime political observers start calling for wise men, a president is in trouble.

Mr Obama is in a hard place. Health care hangs over him, and if he is lucky he will lose a close vote in the Senate. The common wisdom that he can’t afford to lose is exactly wrong—he can’t afford to win with such a poor piece of legislation. He needs to get the issue behind him, vow to fight another day, and move on. Afghanistan hangs over him, threatening the unity of his own Democratic congressional base. There is the growing perception of incompetence, of the inability to run the machine of government. This, with Americans, is worse than Obama’s rebranding as a leader who governs from the left. Americans demand baseline competence. If he comes to be seen as Jimmy Carter was, that the job was bigger than the man, that will be the end.

Which gets us back to the bow.

RUT-ROH … Tiger Woods SUV Accident Occurred after “Domestic Issue” with Wife Elin Nordegren

It might be the most reported low speed crash ever … However, this is what happens when one of the most famous athletes in the world creates news during a slow holiday news cycle.

The media frenzy following the early morning crash of Tiger Woods SUV into a fire hydrant quickly spread like wild fire and the speculation that Woods, the worlds best golfer, was seriously injured was headlines everywhere. Questions abound as the SUV accident occurred at 2:25 AM Friday morning as Tiger Woods was leaving his gated community residence. It was reported that his wife used one of his golf clubs to smash the car window and ragged her husband out of his 2009 Cadillac Escalade.

The story just sounding a bit strange, especially when police were stating that alcohol was not involved. Some thing out of the ordinary would have caused Woods to get into his SUV at 2:00 in the morning. There are reports that Woods and his wife argued before the accident, one Florida law enforcement official called it “a domestic issue.” Could this be the reason for the argument?

By the time a Windermere police officer arrived about 2:25 a.m., Elin Nordegren Woods had dragged her husband out of his 2009 Cadillac Escalade. He was lying on the ground, dazed and bleeding from his lips and with blood in his mouth, Windermere Mayor Gary Bruhn said.

The crash knocked Tiger Woods, 33, unconscious for about six minutes, according to a call report compiled by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and obtained by the Orlando Sentinel. Bruhn said the golfer faded in and out of consciousness.

Windermere police Chief Daniel Saylor said that officers found Woods lying in the street with his wife hovering over him. “She was frantic, upset …”

RUT-ROH, according to TMZ the injuries that Tiger Woods sustained to were not caused by the car accident, but by his wife Elin Nordegren.

We’re told he said his wife had confronted him about reports that he was seeing another woman. The argument got heated and, according to our source, she scratched his face up. We’re told it was then Woods beat a hasty retreat for his SUV — but according to our source, Woods says his wife followed behind with a golf club. As Tiger drove away, she struck the vehicle several times with the club.

We’re told Woods became “distracted,” thought the vehicle was stopped, and looked to see what had happened. At that point the SUV hit the fire hydrant and then hit a tree.

Looks like The Astute Blogger had this story pegged all along. Nice job in the speculation of possible “domestic violence”. Kudos! It would appear that Tiger Woods is human after all. That is outside of a golf course.
