Daily Commentary – Monday, November 30th, 2009 – Canada Approves Al-Jazeera but Will Censor, However Bans US Programming

  • Al-Jazeera’s distributors are complaining that the CRTC’s restrictions would cause the station to lose money, even though they’re been approved for broadcast. This coming from the country that outright bans most U.S. programming.

The are going to censor Al-Jazeera for anything offensive. Wouldn’t that be pretty much the entire broadcast except the introduction and sign off?
