Barack Obama’s Racist Stupidity … The One Calls it a Teaching Moment, Who’s, Yours? The Same Teaching Moment When BO Made Fun of Special Olympics

A complete Obamanation!!!

Who acted “stupidly” Barack Obama? Who fanned the fire of racism and poured gas on it Wednesday night during your Obamacare press conference? In both cases the answer is YOU!

Obama_Gates

Obama speaking today during today’s almost apology after stepping in it big time

Obama fans the flames of racism and this is a teaching lesson for us. Obama made a terrible joke about Special Olympics and that too was supposed to be a teaching lesson.

We were told during the 2008 Presidential campaign that for 20 years when Obama attended the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago Obama never sat in a pew when Reverend Jeremiah Wright made racists comments or spewed hate from the pulpit against America. Really? Really? Barack Obama’s quick jump to automatically presume racism and that the Cambridge, MA police department did something wrong in the arrest of Harvard professor Henry Lewis Gates Jr. tells me that maybe he was present and did hear a sermon or two.

Now Obama claims that this is a teaching moment? What exactly is the teaching moment? The fact that people should stop claiming racism with no facts or where none exists. Maybe the teaching lesson is for those with an agenda to stop crying racism.

Barack Obama has shown his true character. Before knowing any of the fact of the arrest, President Obama made a determination that Cambridge, MA police department acted in a racist manner. Even after The One began to learn the fact of the case, he still would not make a full apology. Obama stopped short of an apology to Sgt. James Crowley for saying he “acted stupidly” for arresting black Harvard scholar Henry Lewis Gates Jr. Instead Obama said he should have chosen his words more carefully.

“Because this has been ratcheting up and I helped contribute to ratcheting it up, I want to make clear that in my choice of words I unfortunately gave an impression that I was maligning the Cambridge Police Department or Sgt. Crowley specifically and I could have calibrated those words differently.”

How is it that the man of only words, suddenly cannot choose the right one’s when he got called on the carpet for his racist accusations? Earlier in the day, the Cambridge area police unions voiced their support for Crowley and called for an apology from Obama for his statement. Barack Obama while making an impromptu appearance to

Why is it every time this “training wheel” President makes a mistake and steps in it, we hear that this is a teaching moment. What a crock. The teaching moment is for Obama’s benefit and frankly this on the job training with the President is growing old. Barack Obama used the same “TEACHING LESSON” crap when he put his foot in it making the joke regarding Special Olympics.

Ok, here we go! I am a black man and I was the first to say that all this could have been avoided if Gates would have simply appreciated the fact that officers were diligent in making sure the correct person was in his home. However, once the officer saw proof, he should have backed off and left. So, both parties did overreact and both were wrong in how they handled the situation. The president’s comment about it was true in that the officer’s reaction was stupid, but so was Gate’s reaction to the officer. The problem is that the media has turned the president’s comment into a racial comment when all he said was that the officer actedly stupidly. Where’s the racism in that? And, if it is assumed to be there, then it also has to be assumed that the officer did what he did because he too is a racist. Can we draw these conclusions in either case? No! So, media cut that shit out! You are a big part of the reason that these states are the divided states of America. You stir the part and people who cant think for themselves eat that shit up.

for diamondtone…there is nothing racial about the president running down a municipal police officer. There is something moronic about the idiot-in-chief opening his big fat federal mouth about a municipal matter. Just as surely as we don’t need a state run religion, we don’t need the potus considering himself everytown’s mayor. he needs to mind his own business and stop looking for the next ‘crisis’ to stir up some crap and take the heat off his predictabley lackluster performance. It is incredibly stupid for the chief law/ constitution enforcer to be bad-mouthing the law enforcement establishment…totally irresponsible. obama just does not get IT…he doesn’t get anything. obama thinks it is all about him. Get it? If you don’t now…you will. obama will sell everyone of us, ‘red and yellow, black and white’ down the river. he already as a good start on doing so.

Who can know what kind of internal conflicts
may be brewing inside of Obowma? The little
White Obowma and the little Black Obowma
could be struggling for common ground and
      brotherhood within his psyche. Community
Organizing in the White Community as well
as the Black Community might have helped
round out his perspective. We all know that
it is good policy to be racially ‘color blind’
when it comes to conducting the business
of America at the highest level.

Obama had a knee-jerk reaction to a sensitive issue. Problem is, he didn’t get the all the facts. Problem is, he’s the POTUS and he did it on television. Problem is, he may be making other decisions and pronouncements based on something other than facts.

diamondtone, I agree with much of what you say. If one reads up on Gates, you quickly realize that he is one of these guys in the top one or two percentile of intelligence who often have trouble interacting with the rest of us mere mortals. (Obama, you a’int that smart. I’d put you on a level about even with the Cambridge cop.) I think Gates has a history of overreacting like this because of the area of his scholarship. Yes, he could have been cool about the whole thing, but he is 58 and had a bit of jet lag. And there is a definite class thing at work here. I once got stopped in my neighborhood by a cop who probably figured I didn’t live there because I was driving around in my dear old heap that I refused to part with. I was completely obeying the law. No reason to stop me, other than a possible burglar profile. I had worked hard to succeed to the point that I could afford to live in my upper middle class neighborhood. I wasn’t a burglar ! ! ! I LIVE HERE ! ! ! (I must confess, like Gates, I mouthed off a little, but did not get arrested.) Get the picture ? Obama’s offer to sit down and have a beer with them is a good idea, but I doubt Gates has the time for such tomfoolery.

The only racist involved in this is the one that made this post.

And the comment about the Special Olympics joke… I’m just glad this president is capable of making the joke instead of being capable of competing like the last one.

SM: You are a true, liberal, hateful dumb ass. That’s the best you got? WOW, another word smith from the Barack Obama school of racism.

You do not think its racists to automatically judge some one and a situation before knowing the facts and automatically thinking that the white cops did something wrong to a black man in arresting him?

You are a true dumb ass as that is the very definition of racism.

I wonder how long Barack has racially profiled white cops?

To show just how ignorant his comment truly was, Obama is not back peddling. He learned well from his master, Reverend Wright.

The teaching moment is for our “training wheel” President, what a joke this man truly is. All he has is words and he can’t even string them together without causing racial issues.

You libs are truly pathetic. Racism is a two way street.

Possibly wrapped in self-admiration for his particular band
of expertise (African and African American Studies),
Professor Gates may have felt that the Police should
have known him by sight. Whatever Gates’ vision of
himself, he found himself without keys to his rented
home and not having had enough forethought to provide
a spare within reach. When challenged to provide
identification, the Professor flew off the handle while
attempting to circumvent the lawful requests of a
      Police Officer.

Perhaps a few sessions in anger management class
might help the role model professor contain himself
      in the future.

      Greetings:

I would just like to comment on the use of the “teachable moment” descriptor. When I first came upon this reference it meant that the student was intellectually open and available for a transmission of information from a teacher.

Now, or in President Obama’s use, it seems to me when the teacher believes that an information transmission, from the teacher to the student, is necessary or appropriate.

This may be a subtle difference to many, but, to me, it emphasizes that the teacher’s agenda and state of mind, not the student’s, is the controlling aspect. This, again, to me, is not a “teachable moment”; I would describe it as a “dictate-able moment”.

      “I won,” again.

    11. david r on July 25th, 2009 7:18 pm

#10 Exactly. Like all the liberal press is saying, “He didn’t really apologize. He just clarified.”

    12. ANewGirl on July 26th, 2009 9:12 am

Once again, our President opens his trap, sans teleprompter, without all the facts and makes a degrading, unnecessarily BIASED comment himself.

So, now the three of them go to the White House, have a beer, pose for a few PR shots—and what does this prove?????

Hmnnnnnnn…so quick re-wrap… the neighbor calls the police b/c she reports 2 men trying to break in to the premises who happened to be black! (since door was jammed and backs were turned to her—she didn’t know one of them happened to be the Homeowner and Professor himself returning from a brief time out of town to a malfunctioning door). The Sgt. was just doing his job (also actively has taught courses on racial profiling, btw) and asks the Prof. inside the residence (when he arrived) to merely identify himself. Immediately- Professor irate, refused, was uncooperative/insulting and hurling his own racially based insults and comments. WRONG WRONG WRONG. Professor arrested for not providing police with his identity and resisting. Unnecessary on the part of Professor. Glad the Sgt. stood by his proper performance of duties, and then his Department & Superiors by him and that he never apologized for what—-doing his job????

As for Barry’s comments….Someone please call Ace Hardware. A really big tool is missing. In this case, also appears as if more than one.

    13. D- on July 26th, 2009 12:44 pm

Lmao. You guys just can’t stand it that the black guy one. Anything you can come up with to attack him with you will, huh? It’s really sad.

The man is right, the cop acted stupidly. How would you have reacted if it was a white man arrested for no reason in his own home by a black cop?

But you dumb ass neo-cons don’t want to even consider something that scary. “Oh no, black men can come into my home and handcuff me?” If a black cop had done that to a white man he would have lost his badge, that’s the difference here. The white man just gets called stupid (which he was) and all the wannabe-KKK members of this site support him.
      ___________
SM: Thank you for proving just how much of a true moron and race card player that you truly are. There is only one thing worse in life than a racist, that would be someone like you who accuses one of racism when you are clueless. I was waiting for you to either reference Hitler or the KKK and in true, predictable, and pathetic liberal play book fashion you did.

What a sad soul you are. What it must be like to be so miserable in thought that you think everything is about race. Sorry Keebler, but I happen to believe its about the content of one’s character. Too bad Obama showed all America that he is not color blind. The teaching moment is for himself. He is the one who fanned the flames of racism thru his own ignorance.

You are a clown and a pathetic individual. You are exactly what is wrong in this country as to why we cannot get beyond racism. Your ilk all to often wants to cry racism and use the race card where there is none.

You know, if I acted like a belligerent A$$hole to a cop, in my home, in my car or on the street, I would expect to be hand cuffed. Maybe you would actually like to read the actual accounts of this case. Seems that after Obama finally got clued in he knew he had to back peddle.

Gates was not arrested for breaking into his house, he was arrested for acting like and abusive, belligerent fool to the cops and would not stop. The black officer on the scene agreed that Crowly has every right to arrest Gates.

However, Gates was a liberal Elitist who thinks that he is above everyone. Reminds me of the John Kerry moment when he said, “dont you know who I am!!!” Hmm, another Boston liberal elite, I sense a trend here.

Call it racism like an ass all you want. You are the problem in this country when it come to actual racism. You seem to be the one caught up with the fact that Obama is black. I could care less. A President is supposed to represent all people.

I would love to end racism, you and your type want to use it as a weapon. Looks like using the race card failed miserably as Gates can’t wait to run and hide and Obama’s poll #’s will never recover from the acts of what came to his mind first. There is something inherently wrong with someone who would automatically accuse someone of racism before knowing any of the facts.

Personally, I do not believe this type of person should ever be President. Not because of his color, but because of his ideology and mind set.

I do not vote for a person because of their color, gender or religion. Sadly, it would appear you do. Barack Obama is no different to me than Jimmy Carter. Both a bunch of rank armatures who the US “stupidly” elected because of some fantasy belief of change.

Looks like America has buyers remorse.
