Barack Obama Can Apologize for America, But He Can’t Apologize to Sgt Crowley for his Race Card Comment Regarding Professor Gates

The Apologist & Chief can apologize for everyone but himself.

How is it that President Barack Obama can travel the world and apologize for America’s wrong doings over and over and over? Yet, The One cannot find it in himself to apologize for himself and his rush to judgment, accusatory comments that did malign the Cambridge, Mass police and Sgt. Crowley.

Barack Obama, the Racial Healer and Chief, hardly lives up to his MSM press.

 Hat Tip: American Power

Barack Obama presumed that his friend, the black Harvard professor Henry Gates was correct and the white police officer, Sgt. Crowley, had done something wrong. It was Obama that automatically assumed that race was involved.

No wonder Obama asked Crowley and Gates to the White House for a beer, they are both Irish. Obama assumes and knows that the Irish like beer, right? More presumptions on the part of The One, because just like all white officers when arresting a black man are doing something wrong, all Irish like beer. (for those who have not figured it out, this is sarcasm)

Stop the ACLU makes a great points referencing Michelle Malkin.com …  “all of a sudden, the Generational Theft Act is going to give money to support law enforcement. Funny how this use of the funds only happens after the President insults a police department.”

In the end, who racially profiled, who acted racist and who acted “stupidly”?

Well, well. well…even the “known to waffle” but brilliant BLACK/AFRICAN AMERICAN MAN Colin Powell has now officially stated, “You don’t argue with the Police”

So, stick that in your pipe and smoke it you liberal reverse-racist crackheads! Seriously, the more and more BS I read about the racial issue being UNNECESSARILY dragged up again—the more I have to ask people what the hell kind of drugs they are on that they can’t see through the simplicity of this story. IT HAD NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING TO DO WITH RACE YOU IDIOTS!

The Obamasiah apologize? Nope—rather…let’s further pontificate and have a damn beer at a picnic table on the White House Lawn to try and cover up the real truth…Barack (half Caucasian and raised by his White Grandmother) really still feels opressed by Caucasians. There is the real truth right there!

    2. SUPER DAVE on July 29th, 2009 12:50 pm

obama and his boyfriend “uncle remus” had every intention of turning this into a race related incident. once again, the backjumping democrats attacking a woman who only called in to report a “possible” break in at this house. never referring to the two as “black”.
this goes to show that this not only happens to white men in America at the hands of black racists, but also shows black racism toward other races as well.

    3. Dawg1948 on July 29th, 2009 1:23 pm

You go Bill. Obama travels the world apologizing for the USA at every turn and never mentioning all the GOOD the USA has done for our sorry planet. Then he jumps to conclusions and assumes the police department and Crowley acted stupidily when he openly admitted he was not there and did not know all the facts. Never once did he consider his friend was the one that acted stupidly. IMAGINE THAT!!!

Aww, c’mon now, All Presidents make mistakes..nobody’s
perfect. Well, on the other hand, we’ve hired a guy that
has a near perfect record of mistakes. Even the lofty
Professor Gates is quick to err in the area of Explosive Ego.
Two old friends have a date to share a teaching moment in
the White House Beer Garden. Oh, and Sergeant Crowley
      will be there as well.

Barry was brought up in a racist culture. The majority of the black people are racist. It is drilled into them at an early age. So when Barry found out about his friend professor Gates being arrested for disorderly conduct he decided to “weigh-in” as the “racist in chief” from his position as POTUS even though he admitted he knew nothing about the event other than the fact that Gates, his friend, had been arrested.
So much for being POTUS or behaving as he should regarding such an event. POTUS indeed! How about Community Organizer in Chief. It fits his behavior better.

    6. yoyo muffintop on July 29th, 2009 2:14 pm

New Girl – Faced with a lippy but non-criminal subject, Crowley misused the powerful authority given to him by the state to arrest Gates. Gates could not “escape the ride.” The police officer made the process the punishment.

Everybody loses in this scenario: the cop wastes time better spent chasing criminals, the defendant is put to unnecessary humiliation and expense, the already overburdened justice system is taxed anew, and the defendant (and others) are left to wonder about officer’s motivations. I get why some people believe it might be about race.
However, imo, it’s about a cop asserting his authority over a member of the public who doesn’t show sufficient deference.
And that is wrong 100% of the time.

I hope that the Obama and Democrats have more than apology for the American people, but I think Obama despises the US. This is why he’s pushing so hard for socialized medicine. If he was looking out for Americans, he would be pushing for jobs. What good is health care when your starving to death.

    9. Rusty Bridges on July 29th, 2009 3:03 pm

#6, nobodys time would have been wasted if Gates would have cooperated.

How is this police officer to know what this persons next move would have been. He was acting irrational and combative.

The publics best interest was served.

    10. Susan on July 29th, 2009 3:58 pm

Obama is the kind of person who feels he does NO WRONG, makes NO MISTAKES, etc., etc., so of course there’s no need to apology to Sgt Crowley, in his mind anyway.

    11. ANewGirl on July 29th, 2009 5:38 pm

YoYo- The Sgt. (not Officer- his rank was Sgt.) had no other motivations other than responding to a normal POSSIBLE B&E call as dispatched from the 911 Operator. As usual, you continually have to make things out to be far more than they really are just for the sake of arguing and you getting another chance to come on a public blog and call everyone who doesn’t agree with you a Racist.

      Grow Up!

Boston Police Officer suspended today for making a racial slur about Mr Gates:

“The law enforcement official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said Officer Justin Barrett referred to the black scholar as a ” jungle monkey” in the letter, written in reaction to media coverage of Gates’s arrest July 16.”

Good thing those Mass. police officers don’t harbor any racism….lol.

    13. Michelle Smith on July 29th, 2009 7:03 pm

#12 That has nothing to do with Sgt. Crowley. You are just trying to stir up more crap. Sgt. Crowley acted in a professional manner and did nothing wrong. What another officer from a different police department does or says has nothing to do with what transpired with Mr. Gates & Sgt. Crowley. Your post just proves that the state of Mass. will not tolerate racism in their police departments.

You are just making an ass of yourself. Who said that there was no racism in Massachusetts? It’s silly to suggest that racism doesn’t exist, we know it does everywhere but that doesn’t mean everyone is.

I agree with NEWGIRL….You need to grow up.

Yes that’s right, invite them over for a beer at the white house that should fix things right up. Wow, if everybody would just sit down to a beer there would be no more racism in this world. Sounds like a brilliant plan.

    17. yoyo muffintop on July 29th, 2009 9:59 pm

The support for Officer Crowley from the right has been astonishing. The very party that tries to tout freedom and sovereignty is now saying that an American citizen isn’t so free in their own home.

Pure republican hypocrisy motivated by politics and there hatred towards Obama….nothing else.

Hate to break it to ya, but what Crowley did by arresting Gates was illegal under Mass. law.

Ask the DA of Mass. – they viewed the report/charges and instantly knew there was no violation of law, so the DA threw the case out.

Gates is 100% guilty of “white policeman profiling”. The
classes Officer Crowley teaches about racial profiling

    29. yoyo muffintop on July 30th, 2009 2:45 pm

The only thing Obama said about the cop is that he acted stupidly…which the cop did.

Obama: “Now, I don’t know, not having been there and not seeing all the facts what role race played in that, but I think it’s fair to say, number one, any of us would be pretty angry. Number two, that the Cambridge police acted stupidly in arresting somebody when there was already proof that they were in their own home and, number three, what I think we know separate and apart from this incident is that there is a long history in this country of African-Americans and Latinos being stopped by law enforcement disproportionately. And that’s just a fact.”

Note: “I don’t know, not having been there and not seeing all the facts what role race played in that”

Also note: “what I think we know separate and apart from this incident”

Obama never stated that the cop was racist – he in fact went out of his way to disconnect the Gates case from his observations about racial profiling. He was merely using the issue as a chance to talk briefly about the very real racial issues it’s stirred up.

Btw #21 – If you are backing the cop in this arrest, you are willing to give up your 1st and 4th rights. The arrest of Mr Gates was by Mass law illegal. It’s ok to say Gates was an a-hole but the cop was wrong to arrest.

But I guess you’re ok with a police state as long as it puts you on the side against Obama.

    33. ANewGirl on July 30th, 2009 4:44 pm

Yoyo–Once again, you are wrong. The Sgt. did not do anything illegal. The reason Mr. Gates initially was arrested was because:

      1. He at first, refused to identify himself when asked twice. Screaming, “Don’t you know who I am?!?!” at a Sgt. and the accompanying African-American Officer is not appropriate.

      2. When told if he didn’t settle down after being completely irate and yelling and IMMEDIATELY threatening about a lawsuit, then issuing his own degrading ETHNIC COMMENTS to Sgt. Crowley, they simply snapped the cuffs on him for his overall obnoxiousnous & to get him settled down and to show they meant business until they sorted everything out. Of course, they never booked him since, as you say- it was an accident and the Neighbor only called in- not knowing it was his residence and a malfunctioning door.

You are such an arse. Gates was given several warnings and asked nicely and professionally to please keep his emotions under control, and he was so irate- (and after several warnings) they told him if he didn’t stop..they would arrest him for disorderly conduct. That is why he was “arrested”..but not really. They also dropped those charges when the whole thing blew up. It all blew up within minutes on the Man’s front porch, Yoyo—not sure if they even entered the residence AT ALL…didn’t have the chance to go that far….Where did you get the info that an illegal search was done without a warrant? That’s BS—there wasn’t any search.

Anyway- that’s the story going around in Beantown…don’t get so technical all the time…Both the Sgt. and the black Police Officer professionally performed their duties. End of Story right there until everyone made a field day out of this…..Maybe our President just shouldn’t have commented AT ALL until he knew more about the case that both sides have said- was just a misunderstanding gone wrong.

Hey, YoYo- have a bud light- have a teaching moment- and for once- stop trying to act like you know everything. Picnic Bench and Front Lawn optional.

Why is it his black brothers on the force defend him? Why dumbass? He wasn’t going to arrest him until he started verbal abusing him while Crowley was walking away, out of his house.

The police have a job to do; plain and simple.

It’s amazing, well no it isn’t; this is what you liberal scumbags do. You come on here telling people how to live their lives like you know what your talking about as you live out of your cardboard box; and now you are trying to act like you know how police officers are to respond. My dad was a police officer for 30 years in one of the toughest counties in America; just outside DC; so I would respect his EXPERIENCE over you liberal drivel anyday. That; along with all of my police officer friends, both black and white, who support Crowely. He worked by the book.

      Re #38

I highly doubt that the moderators would go “in reverse” and sully the decent direction that Scared Monkeys is taking by conjuring ugly and hateful banter for “hits”. No sane person with true American conservative values would do that.

As a matter of opinion, the posts issued by the character you mention(as well a few that exist now on both sides of the political spectrum) probably drives away more inquisitive conservatives from this board than liberals.

I would like to think that the true American conservative, while having differing views than their adversaries, more than likely is highly respectful of others as is their nature. We are armed with facts and experiences in history in being more correct in our philosophical and political beliefs than the present day liberal, as is being proven with each passing day.

Which is why I feel that with the proper campaign and right candidates the Republican party can regain the reins of this runaway stagecoach and put us back in the right direction.

OK, Elmer, I’m off the soapbox. Have a great weekend.

Then I guess you would not put yourself in the category of a “true American conservative” #39….unless your definition of “highly respectful” is calling someone with a learning disability a “retard” or calling someone “deaf and dumb” as you say you do. Let me guess, you also call someone with downs syndrome a “mongol” don’t you?

Your response to my post in another thread leads me to believe that you either did not read my posts thoroughly or you had but seem to be programmed to select certain words and phrases, ignoring the rest, and effectively taking the posts in question completely out of context.

If the first scenario is true I suggest that you do read and attempt to comprehend the nature of the posts in question.

However, if you did read them and gathered that conclusion, then there is nothing I can say to you or do for you as I see no need to waste my time or yours.

The wish(or hope) that you would want to rush my demise I find common among those of your philosophy…much like the “Obamacare” proposal should it pass.

However long I have I plan to enjoy. I know nothing about you and I do not wish you ill or harm.

Why you would percieve me as a threat I find quaint but not uncommon, as I am sure you see many of those who think differently than you are.

At any rate, unless there are posts that you send that lead to an intelligent discussion, I bid you a good weekend.

Re #43: Again, I find the over-the-top characters on here a little too much to believe. I think yoyo is just some hack keeping the pot stirred. I don’t believe anyone as dumb as he and Supper Dave and a couple of others here appear to be could figure out how to use a mouse and a keyboard. Several years ago, during the OJ trial, there was a character who called himself “m.a.” or something of the sort who carried on and kept everybody fired up. All he had to do was say something clever like, “Punkass!” and several posters would squeal like pigs. I’m sure whoever was pulling the trigger on that one was getting a real kick out of everyone else’s reactions. I honestly think there’s a lot of that going on here, as well.

The antagonists on this board as I have stated before seem to drive people AWAY from, not toward the forum. The only ones benefitting would be the few that participate in the melee.

If I had a forum I would want to bring people in the thread for an intelligent exchange of ideas and the easiest way to chase potential participants out is to have personal attacks rather than intelligent debate.

So while I see the skepticism you have pertaining to Scared Monkeys, I do not agree that they do this intentionally as it is in effect tarnishing an otherwise stellar reputation of being a fine conservative board. At least that is my opinion.

    46. yoyo muffintop on August 4th, 2009 12:30 am

Here’s a hint of advice for you – maybe if YOU actually wrote something of intelligence someone would engage with you.

      So far, I’ve read nada.

Why don’t you start your own forum…your first discussion could be how you walk around calling folks with learning disabilities “retards” and “deaf and dumb” and then explain how it’s ok because you are part of a “dying breed”.

Good luck with that – Lol.

    47. Scott on August 4th, 2009 11:08 am

Actually moron, you are the dolt which nobody wishes to engage because all you do is purport lies and myths, much like your President.

    48. Dave B on August 11th, 2009 2:57 am

The rhetoric is a little nasty so I hope I can offer some perspective. Gates was arrested for tumultuous behavior in public (I’ve been a cop since 1976 in Massachusetts)and it took place because other neighbors were being disturbed. A cop’s public peace can not be disturbed. To all those that are of the opinion that Crowley acted wrong just look to the reaction of the black officers and you will see what is really the case. Our duty is to “keep the peace” first and that’s what happened.
