Insulter & Chief Obama Jokes & Insults Disabled on Tonight Show: Being a bad bowler, It’s “like the Special Olympics or something”

BARACK OBAMA INSULTS SPECIAL OLYMPICS

You owe Eunice Shriver and the millions of Special Olympic athletes an apology.

There is a reason why no sitting US President as ever gone on The Tonight Show. For one, it completely diminishes the office of the Presidency. Two, it is especially wrong to be yuking it up with Jay Leno when so many Americans are experiencing tough times. This is hardly the venue for a President when Obama can call a prime time news conference and have the attention of the world.

Three … well three is for exactly what happened in Barack Obama attempting to make a joke and in turn making fun of and insulting Special Olympic athletes.  Let’s go out on a limb and guess that this was not on his teleprompter. Or maybe it will be as Michelle Malkin states, the teleprompter made him do it. I guess this is what elistist do when they get together, make fun of the disabled.

Real class President Obama. As a person who has volunteered for the Special Olympics I do find Obama’s comments completely disgusting. On a person note, I have never met kinder and more motivated individuals in my life that when I volunteered with the Special Olympics. The athletes are a breed a part and will make you look at the Olympic Games in a whole different manner. Barack Obama, you could never be a Special Olympic athlete, you have neither the heart, courage or spirit.

Click on the Clown in Chief pic to watch the video of Obama’s shameful comments on Special Olympics

Towards the end of his approximately 40-minute appearance, the president talked about how he’s gotten better at bowling and has been practicing in the White House bowling alley.

He bowled a 129, the president said.

“That’s very good, Mr. President,” Leno said sarcastically.

It’s “like the Special Olympics or something,” the president said.

Mr. Obama and the rest of you Kool-Aid drinking apologists, spare us the BS spin of what you did not mean to do or say. It makes no difference what you intended to do, YOU DID IT!!! People do not intend to be racist when they make certain comments, yet the comments are. You compared your bad bowling to as if you were a Special Olympics athlete. There is no positive message that can be spun. What is even worse Obama, is that this is obviously part of your normal vocabulary as you thought nothing wrong in saying it.

The White House spin machine is already in full spin cycle trying to deflect Barack Obama’s latest gaffe.

When asked about the remark, the White House said the president did not intend to offend.

“The president made an off-hand remark making fun of his own bowling that was in no way intended to disparage the Special Olympics,” White House deputy press secretary Bill Burton said. “He thinks the Special Olympics is a wonderful program that gives an opportunity for people with disabilities from around the world.”

Could you only imagine what would have occurred in GWB made these comments? However, the insult to Special Olympics came from a president who supposedly is articulate. Really? We would say, hey Obama, stick to your day job, but you are even worse at that as well. Hmm, Lorie Byrd as Wizbang agrees.

As Newsbusters asks, will the MSM pay attention to Obama’s offensive remark to the handicap?

More Red rant to follow later …

Hey Obama what’s on today’s agenda, making fun of Down’s children or the autistic?

I got news for the dumba$$ & Chief, a Special Olympics athlete would smear him in a bowling match.

This is what has been elected … but its OK what he says cuz its about change.

Osama Bin Laden Barack Saddam Hussein Obama is a freaking IMBECILE!! Everytime he opens his mouth, he inserts both feet. I don’t know who is worse, Obama or O’ Biden…

Obama should be ashamed of himself for making fun of the “Special Olympics”!

Amateur hour on Leno last night?

What’s next, American Idol or Dancing With the Stars.

What a class act. I guess any programs that help disabled will be one of the ones he is talking about looking at and cutting. I’m sure this morning he is aware that people are against making fun of disabled people and is furious that he said that and takes full responsibility for it and will hold Bush accountable.

I’m glad that he has time to work on his bowling, I can’t afford to take the family so it does my heart good.

I didn’t watch, too disgusted when I see azz kissing, sure don’t want to bring it into my home.

I’ll bet it was refreshing to see elitists looking down their noses at us on TV instead behind our back. I wonder if Leno gave Obama a chance to drive one of his cars from his billion dollar collection. Or did he hide it from him thinking he might have to pay a larger amount of reparations if he saw it.

I did get the message that we should not expect the POS(prez’-o-states)to be able to fix the economy anytime soon even though that is what he promised in his campaign. And that we should not get “bailout shock” just yet, whatever that means. Oh I get it now, my quivering sphincter tells me to stock up on prep H, it is going to be a long 8 years. Yes, I said 8 years because apparently America is just that stupid. Or racist.

I am not surprised obongo acted normal he cant help the fact his mother raised a dumass !!! It would of been funny if Leno made some jokes like:
How does obongo keep his kids from jumping on the beds, He puts velcro on the ceiling.
I had a really good friend who made jokes of mentally challenged children all the time. Then one day his son was hit by a car and suffered massive brain damage. The really sad part is every one in town says, Well he (the father) deserved it for saying those things.
God bless all the challenged children on this planet !!!
Obongo go spank your monkey !!!!

    11. tina on March 20th, 2009 10:12 am

i feel alot of people voted this person in as president because of his race, i do so hope that has not been the case but afraid it is. this president is either trying too hard or just does not care what we as a nation thinks i say the latter of the two. he is president now and not alot we can do about it. you are right it is going to be a long time and a hard time before he is out of office. won’t come soon enough !

    12. Brenda in Virginia on March 20th, 2009 10:44 am

Tina, yes there is alot we can do next election when many in congress need to be voted OUT.

Obama is busy playing house while Pelosi, Clinton, and the rest do the real dirty work, and I mean dirty work. He’s a manchurian candidate there as the Ken while the girls (i.e. the two afore mentioned) play with their new doll.

LOL @ buster :-) You are a riot!

I’ve been wondering the same thing, buster. What’s up with the underlined green words?

      11 – Tina

I agree with you. A lot of folks voted for Obama because he is black, which was irresponsible on their part. Shame on those who did just that! No one could have voted for Obama for his experience. Obama is truly lacking in so many ways…

It will be a LONG 4 years!

    14. super dave on March 20th, 2009 11:45 am

#11: you are correct. with the help of acorn, he managed over 600,000 new voters. some registered several times, lots of money passed hands for obama votes. most of the africans i have talked to do not care what he does to our country. they only care that “their” president is black.
he was supposedly “stunned” at the aig bonuses, but has done nothing to stop bonuses for his illegitimate kids, fannie mae & freddie mac ? he has raked in a ton of money from these two .

    15. rightknight on March 20th, 2009 11:47 am

Our new President certainly is a ‘Very Special Needs’
person. He NEEDS training in compassion, consideration
of others, respect, extemporaneous speaking, Presidential
composure, honesty, common sense, and, and, and….!
      Truly a needy person.

What have we wrought with our power of the vote?

    16. ANewGirl on March 20th, 2009 11:52 am

So far, how many public apologies has THE CHOSEN ONE had to issue?? One never knows what types of dumb things and gaffes Joe Biden the Gasbag is going to come out with next….looks like the Prez is following suit. Maybe we’ll be in for more surprises next week as rumour has it when he goes on the air Tuesday evening for his public address, the insiders on his staff are suggesting he does it sans the trusty old teleprompter!

Oh, that’s right….just more “off hand” comments. Now to make peace he has to invite a Member of the Special Olympics team from Detroit who bowled 3 perfect games over to the White House Lanes to help him improve his score! When does his ass kissing stop?

    17. wg on March 20th, 2009 11:54 am

I haven’t bowled in years. I’d be lucky to get to the “Special Olympics” range. I’m sure there are some Special Olympians that bowl a much better game than Obama or myself.

I wonder if that comment about the Special Olympics is a clue to his beliefs about the value of that group of people.

IIRC, minorities make up a disproportionate number of special needs students in the schools and among those receiving Social Security payments.

      just sayin…

I.E because I have lupas a disability for many.I cant believe your president would make a low class comment like that, does he know just how hard young people in the Special Olympics work and what it means to them?…. yup telepromter prez was not thinkin.

Is Obama starting to “struggle” as a Communicator? Here’s a sample of what bloggers think when asked this question from an Article posted on-line and in USA Today:

“Obama is starting to struggle because the media and the American people are beginning to wake up and see the ‘real’ Obama. The “Candidate Obama” and the “Real Obama” are different people. The “Candidate Obama” told the American people what they wanted to hear and they are now realizing that they were lied to. The “real” Obama is a radical Democrat with a socialist/Marxist agenda, no political experience, no class, no morals and no idea how to run The United States of America.”

      Right on Point!!!!!

    22. Rusty Bridges on March 20th, 2009 12:04 pm

Now I see that this was a jab at Sarah Palin and Trig because of her involvement in the special olympics a few weeks ago. Jeesh, what a cheap shot. He is obviously scared of her still.

    23. murph on March 20th, 2009 12:04 pm

Obama did mot have a teleprompter to read from so it’s not his fault. Someone must write for him before he opens his mouth.

It’s going to be a long 4 years.

    24. super dave on March 20th, 2009 12:35 pm

most all africans hate Sarah Palin. they are afraid of her strength and she doesn’t back down. it took a very strong will for Sarah to absorb all the attacks on her family by the obama thug posse and she never said even one word about
      obammy baby mammy .
she is a very strong person and the country could use more like her.

    25. Michelle Smith on March 20th, 2009 1:10 pm

#24 I agree. She is a tough one for sure. They are scared of her. Look how they treated her & her family. No one was allowed to say anything about Obama or his family but it was open house on Sarah. Just shows how low the democrats will stoop. Bunch of cowards. Can’t win fair & square, they have to cheat & lie their way to the top.

She will be back. She has my support that’s for sure.

    26. Pat in Alabama on March 20th, 2009 1:44 pm

As a parent of a child with down syndrome, I take great offense to this fool’s comment. He obviously has no idea that “special needs” people are just that: people. They are people who have hopes, dreams, a desire to be loved and to fit in, just like everyone else! In the pursuit of these things they have additional obsticles to overcome that most of us (fortunately) don’t have to deal with. One of those obsticles is the ignorance and callousness of people like Obama. Oddly enough, my son is the greatest blessing I have in life – just as he is! And by the way, he bowls and has won the 50 yard dash in the Special Olympics the last several years.

Obama, your ignorance is showing, and you are an embarrassment to our country! You need to get off TV, get into the Whitehouse and get to work! And don’t bother giving us some photo opp with those you just insulted like Mr. Imus!

#15 rightknight – you are right on

#17 wg “I wonder if that comment about the Special Olympics is a clue to his beliefs about the value of that group of people.” No doubt; often the things we slip and say reveal our true thoughts.

The saddest part to me is:

We are in an apocalyptic sized economic crisis, with two wars going on at the same time. (when you get shot at and bombed in Iraq, you are still under war conditions – no matter what politician douche-bag wants to spin it differently)

…and the United States President – Commander in Chief is discounting himself doing the f-ing Jay
Leno show making Special Olympics jokes…

…and the crisis headline in the media is:

PRESIDENT OBAMA INSULTS THE DISABLED, MICHELLE BUILDS GARDEN.

It is truly is a sad state of affairs. If a person
cannot see how low America has sunken from that alone… perhaps a mental ward is in your future?

Obama is proving every day that he is not only in over his head, he has neither the character or the personality for the job.

He has no respect or thought for any one other than himself.

Obama, supposed to be about change. Who knew that meant insulting the disabled? This man claims he is for the little guy, the middle class, the have nots.

Yet, so he could be funny and act all cool in front of the Hollywood crowd on the tonight show he basically makes a disparaging remark against the disabled and Special Olympic athletes. Obviously, this is not the first time he has ever made such a comment.

If it was a white politician making a thug comment and comparing them to the NBA, Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson and Obama would be out in “farce” screaming racism.

However, Obama makes the same type of comment basically called Special Olympic athletes inferior and that’s ok. It becomes a chance to discuss the disabled. BS.

Obama has never been ready for Prime Time and this is one more example of it.

Oh, Michelle, believe me I’m not laughing. I don’t think any of the comments on this board are funny. And for those that cry about being the parent of a handicapped child… all I can say is that there isn’t much difference in having a child that is chastised because of a handicap as it is to have a child chastised for his race. Maybe you need to be more sensitive to other people’s needs instead of feeling like the victim. In my opinion, that seems to be the underlying theme to most of these Obama articles.

What Obama did in implying the “R” word was no different than using the “N” word. Both are born out of ignorance.

      http://www.cnn.com/2009/LIVING/03/20/obama.special.olympics/index.html?iref=hpmostpop

Some how it is OK to go after those that would use the “N” word in Obama’s word, yet the very person who is supposed to stand for those with disabilities thinks its ok to use those very same people as the punchline for his joke.

I do not need to hear the gov of CA making excuses and telling us that Obama cares about the disabled. It’s what is in your heart. If one is so quick to have “Special Olympics” as a reference of inferiority at the tip of their tongue and as part of their vocabulary … then I think we know exactly where Obama stands on the issue.
