George and Cindy Anthony Want Immunity Before They Speak with Prosecutors Regarding Casey Anthony
Prosecutors should tell Anthony’s to go pound sand when it comes to immunity deal.
George & Cindy Anthony should be ashamed of themselves
George and Cindy Anthony will not be winning any grandparent of the year honors this year or anytime soon. Why on earth would the grandparents of deceased 2 year old Caylee Anthony, George and Cindy Anthony, feel that they need an immunity deal with the prosecutor? What are they afraid of and what crimes do they feel they have already broken in the case of their deceased grand daughter? The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that Anthony attorney, Brad Conway, is asking for a full immunity deal for his clients before they speak to investigators again regarding their daughter, Casey Anthony. 22 year old Casey Anthony has been charged with first degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony.
The lawyer for George and Cindy Anthony wants his clients to have immunity before they speak with prosecutors again about their daughter, Casey Anthony.

Charles Barkley Arrested for DUI in Scottsdale, Arizona
When will they ever learn … especially individuals that can actually afford to have limos take them anywhere? Former NBA great and present basketball commentator Charles Barkley was arrested Wednesday in Scottsdale, Arizona, on suspicion of drunken driving. What a shock, Barkley is actually at a loss for words for once.
Seems that Charles Barkley did not even wait until New Year Eve to tie one on and get into trouble. Is there a thing called “the day before New Years Eve, Eve”?
DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE!!!
Barkley issued a brief statement, saying, “I am disappointed that I put myself in that situation. The Scottsdale police were fantastic. I will not comment any further as it is a legal matter.”
Don’t Drink and Drive, Just ask Zamboni Driver Adam Patterson of Portland, ME in the Cumberland County Civic Center
Portland, ME rarely makes headlines or the national news and I am sure the mayor wishes it had not for the following story. 25 year old Adam Patterson was arrested on OUI/DUI charges for operating a Zamboni while intoxicated. Would not that really be ZUI?
Patterson was charged with operating under the influence, burglary, criminal mischief and violation of bail conditions. Does it get any more embarrassing than driving a Zamboni while intoxicating? Bail condition? Prior record? What a shock! Just another example out there to everyone … Don’t Drink and Drive!
A Portland man faces charges of drunk driving and burglary after police found him atop an idling Zamboni inside the Cumberland County Civic Center this morning.

Robin Sax of the Woman in Crime Ink offered up her Top Criminal Cases for 2008 in their Year in Review. Some of the cases reviewed and most likely discussed this evening will be Caylee Anthony, O.J. Simpson, Clark Rockefeller, Vince Weiguang Li and the Canada bus murder, Eve Carson, the Texas Polygamist Ranch and many more.
Scared Monkeys has covered many of these stories as well in 2008 and many more including the on going story of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba. 2008 proved to be rather interesting and bizarre as one time suspect in Natalee’s disappearance Joran Van der Sloot admitted not once, but twice during the year of his involvement in the crime only to recant and state he was lying. In an interview he actually admitted to kidnapping and human trafficking of Natalee Holloway. Then, like clockwork he said he was lying.
Tune in tonight for a great year in review.
