Cindy, George and Lee Anthony all have Attorneys Representing Them, Why? … Obstruction of Justice, Conflicting Statements & Aiding and Abetting … Oh My

Obstruction of justice, conflicting statements and aiding and abetting charges would never be necessary consideration if Lee, George and Cindy had been completely cooperating and truthful with investigators from start to finish in the Caylee/Casey Anthony investigation.

All in the Family … why do they need legal representation?

Casey Anthony, the mother of deceased 2 year old Caylee Anthony, finds herself indicted and behind bars in the murder of her child. It is obvious why she would have legal representation in the form of attorney Jose Baez and the Dream Team Part Deux that he has assembled in an effort to cloudy the waters of justice and throw defense mud up against the wall to see what sticks.

However, why do grandparents, Cindy and George Anthony, as well as her brother Lee Anthony feel the need for legal representation in the disappearance and homicide of Caylee? What did they do during the investigation to find Caylee Anthony that they would need legal council? One would think that family members would have done everything humanely possible to find Caylee, not defend Casey.

The attorney for Lee Anthony, Thomas Luka, said that the State Attorney’s Office could seek charges against Lee Anthony for obstruction of justice or aiding and abetting. Why would Lee Anthony’s attorney think that his client could face such charges? Why would Thomas Luka feel the need that his client’s civil rights need to be protected if Lee has been truthful, honest and up front during the investigation? Why does one hire a criminal defense attorney in the first place?

Attorney Thomas Luka said that the State Attorney’s Office could seek to charge Lee with obstruction of justice or aiding and abetting, even if was not Lee’s intention to do so. [This is lawyereze at its finest. So it was not Lee’s intent to obstruct and aid and abet? So there is an admission that Lee has done so?] 

“It’s an ongoing investigation, so no one really knows where it’s going to lead. Mr. Anthony obviously wants his civil rights protected. Everyone involved in the case should have their rights covered when determining what the police can and can not do or should and should not expect from the witnesses involved in this case,” Luka said.

Laura Zuniga, the reigning beauty queen of Sinaloa, Mexico has been arrested with suspected gang members in a truck filled guns and ammunition. Her statement to authorities was that she was with the men to go shopping in Bolivia and Colombia.

The bust by authorities included AR-15 assault rifles, 38 specials, 9mm handguns, nine magazines, 633 cartridges and $53,300 in U.S. currency. One of the men arrested with Laura Zuniga has ties to the leadership of the Juarez drug smuggling cartel.  Just another example of how drugs, guns and gangs have permeated Mexico and infiltrated so many aspects of life in Mexico.

A reigning Mexican beauty queen from the drug-plagued state of Sinaloa was arrested with suspected gang members in a truck filled guns and ammunition, police say.

Miss Sinaloa 2008 Laura Zuniga stared at the ground, with her flowing dark hair concealing her face, as she stood squeezed between seven alleged gunmen lined up before journalists. Soldiers wearing ski masks guarded the 23-year-old model and the suspects.

Zuniga was arrested shortly before midnight on Monday at a military checkpoint in Zapopan, just outside the colonial city of Guadalajara, said Jalisco state police director, Francisco Alejandro Solorio.

Could anyone imagine an article being printed in a US newspaper that 2008 was the year that man-made global warming was disproved? Neither can Newsbusters.

It would appear that the Telegraph of London has more journalistic integrity than their fellow newspapers across the pond in the United States. The Telegraph’s article titled, “2008 was the year man-made global warming was disproved,” has certainly provided an alternative and interesting read that all should take a look at that is much different than the pandering media global warming alarmists. Will there be an honest discussion with regards to global warming or cooling that it is controlled by “natural factors”, not man-made?

Easily one of the most important stories of 2008 has been all the evidence suggesting that this may be looked back on as the year when there was a turning point in the great worldwide panic over man-made global warming. Just when politicians in Europe and America have been adopting the most costly and damaging measures politicians have ever proposed, to combat this supposed menace, the tide has turned in three significant respects.

First, all over the world, temperatures have been dropping in a way wholly unpredicted by all those computer models which have been used as the main drivers of the scare. Last winter, as temperatures plummeted, many parts of the world had snowfalls on a scale not seen for decades. How does the word “daughter” just accidently come from the mouth of Lee Anthony’s attorney when discussing Caylee Anthony?

“Mr. Anthony, going under the assumption that  his daughter, or mean his niece, was kidnapped or was some how held against her will.” He investigated that angle and that avenue first and foremost”.

The Anthony’s were hell bent on a “live” search only in an attempt to support Casey Anthony no matter what that they disregarded any search to locate Caylee’s body. 36 Year Old Jennifer Seitz Missing Aboard Norwegian Pearl Cruise Ship Near Cancun, Mexico … Reported Fallen Overboard

36 year old Jennifer Seitz was reported missing on Friday, December 26, 2008 at 5:00 AM EDT. Seitz was aboard the Norwegian Pearl when she reportedly fell from the cruise ship. Search efforts have found no sign of Jennifer Feitz who fell into the sea from the cruise ship east of Isla Mujeres,” an island just off the coast from Cancun. The husband of 36 year old Jennifer Feitz told cruise ship personnel about 3:50 a.m. that he couldn’t find her.

Three Mexican Navy boats and a helicopter were searching the waters off the Caribbean resort of Cancun on Friday for an American woman who reportedly fell from a cruise ship, authorities said.

A U.S. Coast Guard search-and-rescue crew using a Falcon jet halted its efforts to find 36-year-old Jennifer Seitz late Friday, but will resume Saturday morning using a larger C-130 aircraft, said Petty Officer Third Class Nick Ameen.

Feitz’s husband reported her missing from the Norwegian Pearl cruise ship just before 5 a.m. EST Friday. Her hometown was not available.

The search was centered about 15 miles east of Cancun, Mexico, in the Caribbean Sea, said Petty Officer 3rd Class Nick Ameen, a Coast Guard spokesman.

“Initial reports indicate the guest may have gone overboard while the ship was at sea, east of Cancun,” a spokeswoman for the Miami-based Norwegian Cruise Line said in a statement.

AnneMarie Mathews said the ship left Miami on Sunday on a seven-day western Caribbean cruise.

The family of missing Jennifer Ellis-Seitz have stated that she suffered from emotional problems in the past. They do not believe that there was foul play, only an unfortunate ending to her life.

Family members on Monday said she previously had suffered from emotional problems.

“The family suspects that Jennifer chose an unfortunate ending to her life,” family members said in a press release e-mailed to FLORIDA TODAY. “She was a beautiful and caring person and will be truly missed by all who love her.”

Family members say that Ellis-Seitz and her husband, Raymond, were celebrating their one-year anniversary on the cruise. They had invited Ellis’ mother along.

“There were no outward signs or indication of anything being wrong or unusual,” both families said in the joint statement. “Jennifer, however, has had previous emotional issues.”

Court records show Raymond Seitz was arrested in April after Ellis-Seitz called 911 and told authorities he grabbed her wrist when they were arguing and hit her forehead with his forehead. About two weeks later, she signed a written statement saying she wanted the charges dismissed.

In the written statement, she said “the charges are overblown and that there were underlying aggravations, including my own actions.”

Court records show Seitz completed a domestic violence course and that charges against him were dismissed.

Rod Blagojevich has asked the legislative panel considering impeachment that they issue subpoenas to those individuals connected with the Blagogate, pay-for-play scandal, including Barack Obama’s chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, Obama friend and adviser Valerie Jarrett, and  Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-Ill.).

An attorney for Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich (D) has asked the legislative panel considering impeachment of the governor to subpoena more than a dozen witnesses, including President-elect Barack Obama’s incoming chief of staff.

Ed Genson wants the committee to subpoena  Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-Ill.), longtime Obama friend and adviser Valerie Jarrett, and  Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-Ill.), said state Rep. Barbara Flynn Currie.

Currie, the head of the committee, said she did not yet know what the committee’s response to Genson’s request would be. Its next meeting is scheduled for Monday, she added.

45 year old Bruce Jeffrey Pardo kills 8 people at a Christmas Eve party and then sets fire to the home. Bruce Pardo’s ex-wife and her parents were among the dead. Pardo showed up at his ex-in laws house at about 11:30 PM on Wednesday evening during their annual Christmas Eve party. What happened next was pure horror.

Pardo, 45, had no criminal record and no history of violence, according to police, but he was angry following last week’s settlement of his divorce after a marriage that lasted barely a year.

“It was not an amicable divorce,” police Lt. Pat Buchanan said.

Another case of a divorce gone terribly wrong most likely compounded by the stress and depression that manifests itself in troubled people during the holiday season.

Eartha Kitt, singer, dancer, actress and “Cat Woman” Dies at Age of 81 from Colon Cancer

Sadly, Eartha Kitt has passed away at the age of 81. She has recently been treated in NYC for colon cancer. The cancer was detected about two years ago and treated but recurred after a period of remission.

Kitt’s career spanned six decades of singing, dancing and acting. Many know her from her role as Cat Woman on the popular “Batman” series in 1967-68, replacing Julie Newmar. How ironic that Eartha Kitt pass away Christmas day, her recording of the saucy Christmas song “Santa Baby” was certified gold last week.

Eartha Kitt, a sultry singer, dancer and actress who rose from South Carolina cotton fields to become an international symbol of elegance and sensuality, has died, a family spokesman said. She was 81.
