Charles Barkley Arrested for DUI in Scottsdale, Arizona

When will they ever learn … especially individuals that can actually afford to have limos take them anywhere? Former NBA great and present basketball commentator Charles Barkley was arrested Wednesday in Scottsdale, Arizona, on suspicion of drunken driving. What a shock, Barkley is actually at a loss for words for once.

Seems that Charles Barkley did not even wait until New Year Eve to tie one on and get into trouble. Is there a thing called “the day before New Years Eve, Eve”?

DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE!!!

Barkley issued a brief statement, saying, “I am disappointed that I put myself in that situation. The Scottsdale police were fantastic. I will not comment any further as it is a legal matter.”

Lt. Eric Shuhandler of the Gilbert Police Department said an officer pulled Barkley over after he ran a stop sign in Scottsdale’s Old Town area, a trendy spot known for its nightclubs and bars. Gilbert and Scottsdale are in the Phoenix metro area.

UPDATE I: Charles Barkley Said What to Police When stopped?

During DUI arrest Charles Barkley told cops that he ran the stop sign because he was in a hurry to get oral sex from a woman he recetly met. Charles, you may now be in more hot water with your wife than the law.

Here’s to hoping that Charles Barkley show his manhood and his maturity in accepting that, even, the greatest among us can make mistakes. A toast to those who, not only entertain us, but set a fine example for youth.

And, here’s to all the men who didn’t make the cuts, in spite of their own greatness and who went on to father their own children and taught them the value of team work, the value of money and how to dream.

      Stacey Hollins,

      This is for you!

Hopefully this means we wont wind up with him as governor in Alabama, although it may not stop him from running.

I lost all of my inheritance through my broker who invested with Bernard Madoff. Charles offered one of my escorts a lot of money to meet him and unfortunately he almost got caught with his pants down. I ownly hope this increases our exposure in the greater Phoenix area. Charles likes to blow money, pay for sex and drink- he would be a great choice for a position in government in the near future.
