Barack Obama & the Plumber … Socialism … He Wants to Spread Your Wealth Around to Others

Obama’s socialism … if you make too much money according to an arbitrary number Obama_socialists-changedetermined by The Chosen One, the government will tax you and redistribute it to other people. Who is to say when the present target dollar number is lowered as per The Chosen One? Obama’s socialism … change you can believe will destroy us.

If you do not think that Obama is about redistribution of the wealth, listen for yourself. If anyone thinks that socialism is the cure for an ailing US economy … I have a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn.

Make no mistake about it “We the People,” Barack Obama is a socialist and wants to spread your hard earned money to others who have done nothing to earn it. Out of Obama’s own mouth, … “I think when you spread the wealth around it’s good for everybody.” What is even more amazing and is a perfect example of why “We the People” need to hold Obama accountable as the media never will. A plumber had more balls to confront Obama and ask him why his tax plan will tax him and tax the American Dream.

As the Gateway Pundit stated, Obama spewed his socialist lines to the wrong plumber

Check out The People’s Cube and their “I can’t believe it’s not earned” Obama Wealth spread. This is classic.

JOE WURZELBACHER: Initially, I started off asking him if he believed in the American Dream and he said yes, he does – and then I proceeded to ask him then why he’s penalizing me for trying to fulfill it. He asked, “what do you mean,” and I explained to him that I’m planning on purchasing this company – it’s not something I’m gonna purchase outright, it’s something I’m going to have to make payments on for years – but essentially I’m going to buy this company, and the profits generated by that could possibly put me in that tax bracket he’s talking about and that bothers me. It’s not like I would be rich; I would still just be a working plumber. I work hard for my money, and the fact that he thinks I make a little too much that he just wants to redistribute it to other people. Some of them might need it, but at the same time, it’s not their discretion to do it – it’s mine.
UPDATE II: Obama No Longer the Chosen One, Now he is Robin Hood. However, Obama is “robbin” from you.

and of course, the obama mouthpieces are all ready saying he was misunderstood. how is it that such a well spoken lawyer needs people to run around behind him telling us what he really meant all the time? if we supposedly don’t understand what he’s saying, how are all the foreign leaders supposed to get the correct message from his interactions with them?

OK you left winged weirdos…you wanted it, you are going to get it….I know some of you leftists work hard just to bring home money to feed your families and YET you are willing to have your money go to the 40% of Americans who do NOT pay taxes in the form of a welfare check each month?

Socialism will NOT work in a country of over 350M people.

McCain needs to bring up the “spread the wealth” thing tonight. It is make or break tonight and McCain can break with just facts!

if obama could distinguish his head from his behind he’d realize that his redistribution plan is totally unconstitutional. if he wishes to make a change then raise the minimum wage. his redistribution plan as stands is nothing more than an addition to welfare (also unconstitutional).

good god mccain… POINT THIS OUT!!!

we need to take a good look at socialized countries before the election. the next step will be obama loosening up on immigration the way that canada did. it worked for a couple of years & then all those immigrants started demanding government freebies. now their economy sucks & taxes are sky high to pay for it all. take a lesson.

There’s no question that Barack Obama is working on the spin for this one just as he has done with all other points of view he and Michelle have expressed that turned out to be unpopular.

But yes, this is what I was trying to get Fire Fox to realize and wake up and smell the coffee. Economics don’t trickle up, they trickle down. Obama’s plans to punish the wealthy will totally shut off the faucet. Just how many of you are willing to work a little more and a little harder so that someone who doesn’t work can get ahead?

The American Dream is not about supporting those who choose not to be productive. It’s all about putting forth the effort and reaping the benefits.

Like many others, my small business is on the verge of success. Obama’s policies will prevent it from growing because I can’t possibly afford to hire workers at prevailing minimum wages AND pay their (under Obama’s administration, government mandated) health care.

I will certainly not work harder and longer to support someone else who is not my family.

my accountant has warned me that a president obama would result in higher tax rates across the board. even if obama doesn’t personally raise taxes on the middle class, he hasn’t the ball$ to veto all the junk pelosi & her sheep plan on passing.

      Clinton Supporters Aid Palin
      By Michael Luo
Gov. Sarah Palin met with a group of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton’s former supporters Tuesday evening at a special fund-raising reception organized for them on behalf of the Republican ticket.

The reception, which organizers said brought in more than $500,000, was part of an extended evening of fund-raising for Ms. Palin and Senator John McCain’s presidential campaign at the Grand Hyatt in New York that officials estimated raised more than $8 million.

Ms. Palin, along with her husband, Todd, mingled and posed for pictures with the group of about 20, before appearing at the larger finance event, which McCain campaign officials said was the last time Mr. McCain would personally appear at a fund-raiser before the election. It was also the first time the pair had appeared together for donors.

More than 1,000 people paid $1,000 each for tickets to the main fund-raiser. Nearly 250 people who contributed $25,000 got dinner beforehand with Mr. McCain.

The reception for former Clinton supporters, which also was attended by Rick Davis, the McCain campaign manager, was spearheaded by Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild, a former telecommunications entrepreneur and “Hillraiser” who brought in more than $100,000 for Mrs. Clinton’s campaign; Calvin Fayard, also a former Hillraiser and longtime Democratic donor from Louisiana, and Miguel Lausell, a former senior political adviser to the Clinton campaign from Puerto Rico.

Other prominent former Clinton supporters in attendance included John Coale, a former Hillraiser, Washington lawyer and husband of Fox News television host Greta Van Susteren.

Everyone at the reception contributed $28,500 to McCain-Palin Victory 2008, a joint fund-raising committee for the Republican National Committee and several state Republican parties.

While Mrs. Clinton has implored her former supporters to back Senator Barack Obama, some still harbor ill will towards him, organizers said.

“These people want to give their vote of disapproval,” said Mr. Lausell. “This is a way they’re doing it.”

Valerie Jaret is on MSNBC as I type this. She is a Senior Advisor to Obama. Just want you to know that VALERIE JARET, along with MICHELLE OBAMA, both worked for Chicago’s mayor at one time. Under the long time corrupt and inefficient management of Chicago’s Democrats, we have the highest sales tax in the country. The way things are done here in Chicago and Cook County is to cut services and raise taxes. No such thing as cutting waste and increasing efficiency. Now maybe that’s not Obama’s way, but the Senator, his wife, his Senior Advisor and his Campaign finance chairperson are ALL from the Chicago political machine. We don’t know if Sen. Obama will do things that way because he has no track record as of yet. But this is where Obama cut his political teeth. These are the people who got him into the U.S. Senate. Just so you know.

OBAMA CAMPAIGN ISSUES TALKING POINTS TO MEDIA AHEAD OF DEBATE
      Wed Oct 15 2008 11:13:03 ET

The Obama campaign issued a set of debate ‘talking points’ to media on Wednesday morning, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.

Press Secretary Sean Smith issued the directive in an email from Pennsylvania, 12 hours before the debate.

The memo oddly mirrors much of the main press analysis and theme of the current campaign:

      ——– Original Message ——–
      Date: Wed, 15 Oct 2008 09:37:27 -0500
      From: Sean Smith [s***mith@barackobama.com]
      To: Sean Smith [s***mith@barackobama.com]

      * This is John McCain’s last chance to turn this race around and somehow convince the American people that his erratic response to this economic crisis doesn’t disqualify him from being President.

      * Just this weekend the weekend, John McCain vowed to “whip Obama’s you-know-what” at the debate, and he’s indicated that he’ll be bringing up Bill Ayers to try to distract voters.

      * So we know that Senator McCain will come ready to attack Barack Obama and bring his dishonorable campaign tactics to the debate stage.

Obama continues to lead on the economic crisis with a rescue plan for Main Street.

      * Over the course of the campaign, Barack Obama has laid out a set of policies that will grow our middle class and strengthen our economy.

      * But he knows we face an immediate economic emergency that requires urgent action – on top of the plans he’s already laid out – to help workers and families and communities struggling right now.

      * That’s why Barack Obama is introducing a comprehensive four-part Rescue Plan for the Middle Class – to immediately to stabilize our financial system, provide relief to families and communities, and help struggling homeowners.

      * This is a plan that can and should be implemented immediately.

      * Obama has shown steady leadership during this crisis and offered concrete solutions to move the country forward – and his Rescue Plan for the Middle Class builds on the plans to strengthen the economy and rebuild the middle class that he’s laid out over the course of this campaign.

      * Already in this campaign, he’s unveiled plans to give 95 percent of workers and their families a tax cut, eliminate income taxes for seniors making under $50,000, bring down the cost of health care for families and businesses; and create millions of new jobs by investing in the renewable energy sources.

      * John McCain has been erratic and unsteady since this crisis began – staggering from position to position and trying to change the subject away from the economy by launching false character attacks.

      END

      Developing…

      9. Txchic. Obama is accustomed to voting “present” a good part of the time. He’ll have to start making decisions. And what did he want to do when Georgia was invaded? He wanted the UN to do something. What did he do when the economic crisis came to a head? He told us he was in touch with Nancy Pelosi by phone. This scares the heck out of me and I’m not a stock broker. I have a rather meager IRA.

All people making above 250,000 aren’t all crooks.. Many are the ones keeping small businesses going. Why take from them? Then they have less to pay workers and workers pay gets cut.hours cut. Why raise their taxes..they can go overseas pay lower wages and taxes? Small businesses are what keep this country going.

    20. Fire Fox on October 15th, 2008 5:15 pm

Joe the plumber does look confused and I can tell you, he has every right to be. However, Joe the plumber is not in the higher tax bracket and doesn’t have to worry about any tax increases. The ones that will be effected by the tax reform that Obama is proposing are the taxpayers that earn over $250,000 a year.

In the past, it was the higher earners that were given tax breaks because we believed in the trickle-down concept… assuming that the wealthier Americans could take up the slack by either investing their money in businesses that result in hiring people and creating jobs; or that they give, through non-profit organizations, money to help support those less fortunate. The problem with that, as we found out during the Reagan years, is that many of the wealthy people were, simply, pocketing their tax break and becoming richer and richer and the poor were being left out in the cold, jobless and on welfare.

I worked in public accounting for more years than I care to mention. To this day, I don’t know how I managed to run a house, raise two kids, be on the board of directors for a non-profit organization and still maintain my sanity. But, the point I want to make is that dollar for dollar, I was paying more tax than people who made over a million dollars a year. And, it was no secret that the bulk of the money being paid to Washington in the way of taxes was coming from the middle class. That’s what Obama wants to change.

Obviously, the most fair thing to do would be to have everyone pay federal sales tax on every penny they spend. Ofcourse, that would take away the need for public accountants, but it would be fair. No longer would we have the burden of filing tax returns every year and everyone would be taxed at the same rate. It would be an incentive to save, as well, in that the tax would only apply to the money as you spend it, not as you earn it.

But, this is not what Obama is proposing. What he is proposing is that the taxpayers who earn more than $250,000 pay a higher rate of tax. No doubt, they would be allowed deductions against their earnings just as everyone has. So while they are paying taxes and interest on their million dollar homes, those amounts would be deducted from their income; as would their business expenses, their donations, etc. What this does is takes the burden off the middle class that doesn’t live in million dollar homes, paying large amounts of money into non-taxable expenses and business expenses. And, trust me, those business expenses are extensive; being everything from sky-boxes, country clubs AND the kitchen sink.

What I don’t understand is that, for years, the middle class has been complaining about always being the ones that carry the burden when it comes to taxes, dollar for dollar. And, now, that we finally have a candidate that is saying that he’s going to correct that, we all jump on him and call it socialism. Trust me, it is not socialism to have the rich pay their share of tax dollars, it’s fair.

The tax laws are written to benefit those that make big money through providing them with deductions that have to do with conducting business. We have allowed those deductions for years and it is because of those deductions that the high earners were paying less than those earning alot less. So while they were living the life, deducting it all from their income; we, as the middle class was struggling along carrying the burden, working our butts off to make ends meet and feeling fortunate if we had a rich friend who would give us a ticket or two to the basketball game!

I hope you get my point, because this is the way of the real world and it ISN’t fair. Obama wants to change it.

    21. Fire Fox on October 15th, 2008 5:27 pm

And… no one is innocent in this. I worked for a very successful firm. We had a sky box, two rows of seats, center court and two seats on the floor. We spent over $1,550,000 a year just on that form of business and entertainment expenses. Why? Because we had the money and it was deductible.

We lived the life, trust me, and there will be those that say we earned it because we worked so hard; but one could also say that, since it was tax deductible, and because our boss would have bought those seats anyway, irregardless whether they were deductible or not, it was unfair.

Thing is, where are the rich in this scenario? I don’t hear them complaining!

    22. txchic on October 15th, 2008 5:29 pm

#13 sounds like one of the idiots who pay NO taxes now & will get a nice little “redistribution of wealth” check if obama gets in.

caesu: listened to the full clip – so what? Do you have a clue about what it takes to run a small business? $250,000 in Revenue does not mean the plumber is taking home $250,000. Revenue is only incoming money – pay the bills, workers’ salaries, health care (which will be mandatory under Obama) and then see what’s left over. He’ll be lucky if he takes home $50,000 and HE bore the risk! Yet slimy Obama is going to hand off his revenue to those that don’t lift a finger to help.

    25. katablog.com on October 15th, 2008 6:08 pm

      Idiot said:

Obama is going to tax the top 5% of the USA. What the frig is wrong with that????

You are only showing your absolute ignorance of the dude you plan to vote for. What Obama said was: 95% of the people will pay less taxes.

Now lets see how his math works. 40% of Americans don’t pay taxes, yet Obama is putting them into his math because not only will they continue to not pay taxes, but they will suddenly get “tax credits” – meaning someone else’s money will be handed to them. He then subtracts the 40% that don’t pay taxes and get tax credits from the 60% (not 100%) that do pay taxes and comes up with 20% (I told you, it’s funny math).

So the 40% that don’t pay taxes get a windfall. Then 20% of people that do pay taxes, get a tax cut. Meaning 80% of people who pay taxes DON’T get a tax cut, rather they get a tax increase.

IT’s the funkiest Math you’ve ever seen, but that’s what economists say his plan will do.

    26. Fire Fox on October 15th, 2008 6:14 pm

      Think of it this way:

The government has over $700,000,000,000 in debt to pay for the Wall Street bail out. $85,000,000,000 in debt to pay for the AIG bail out and that doesn’t even include the amount that’s going to be paid to take care of the financial institutions bail-out.

Who’s going to pay that money back? The poor? The middle class? Or the rich? The point that #13 was trying to drive home to you is simple. It wasn’t the poor or the middle class that ripped us off by overstating the value of their stock. It wasn’t the poor or middle class that ripped us off by selling people bad mortgages and it wasn’t the poor or middle class that drove AIG into the ground. It was the white collar workers, the CEO’s and the big money makers. What’s so unfair about having the top 5% earners in this country, who are made up of the cronies that caused this crisis, in the first place, pay it back?

If you call that socialism, then I feel sorry for you and urge you to let them come to you to collect that debt; because, based on your comments, you don’t mind paying it!

      .

      AMERICA is ANGRY!

… and Obama is the only one that makes any kind of sense…

      I’m sorry.

      .

Good Luck, you’re gonna need it!

    27. katablog.com on October 15th, 2008 6:21 pm

The ones that will be effected by the tax reform that Obama is proposing are the taxpayers that earn over $250,000 a year.

Dream on little fire fox, dream on. It ain’t gonna happen and you are foolish to believe it is.

      1. It CAN’T happen. You can’t have the debts of this country increasing at the rate they are, with congress continuing to develop their pork projects and give 95% of TAXPAYERS a tax cut. It’s mathematically impossible even before you start adding in Obama’s NEW spending.

      2. Read my post above about Obama’s funny math. He seriously believes there are enough people like you who will swallow his nuances and his funny math.

      3. Only 20% of actual taxpayers (the bottom 20%) will receive a “tax cut” (meaning, actually see the rate they are taxed reduced).

      4. 80% of people who actually PAY taxes, will get a tax increase (meaning they will pay more taxes under an Obama administration than they paid for the same earnings under Bush.)

5.Small businesses and every other sized business will be required to pay for health care for their workers. Mom & Pop Shops will shut down because they can’t afford the penalty Obama will charge them for not paying for health care for their workers.

      6. Obama was talking to the plumber not about his “earnings” but rather about the revenue generated by his business. His business would generate $250,000 to $280,000 in revenues. From revenue you must pay for your supplies, workers, rent, health care, computers, R&D, marketing, etc. When that’s all done, Mr. Plumber will be lucky to take home $50,000 to feed his family today – yet under Obama his taxes will increase. Therefore, Mr. Plumber won’t go into business because it’s simply not worth it to take the risk of starting a new business and get to keep so little of it.

    28. Fire Fox on October 15th, 2008 6:26 pm

      And…

to get back to Allan who is concerned about de-regulating insurance companies… I agree with you. It’s another ploy to put more money into the pocket of AIG who is the 18th largest insurance company in the world… at who’s expense? OURS.

It’d be interesting to find out if there is a conflict of interest when it comes to AIG and the Bush administration.

      .

    33. Richard on October 15th, 2008 9:25 pm

Does anyone here believe that either candidate is going to be able to cut our taxes? Sorry, it isn’t that simple.

      Remember, Congress votes on things.

Remember also, our economy is skidding (meaning lesser tax receipts), investors are fleeing (meaning no money for more jobs), and you don’t need me to tell you what our national bailouts are going to do to the federal deficit.

    34. Richard on October 15th, 2008 9:29 pm

A Democratic president and a Democratic Congress … lower taxes? How?

The best bet for this is a Republican president and a Democratic Congress … if they can’t work together, then McCain will be in a position to veto excess spending. That might help.

I’m not looking forward to tomorrow … Joe the Plumber will be sought out by and featured in every media outlet around.

I will, though, give Obama credit for one line … his statement that the educational system can’t do it all, that parents have to turn off the TV and video games. Bravo, Senator! You won’t get the love of the education bureaucrats, who say that they can and should run the whole process (with, of course, more money) … but what you said HERE is the absolute, 100%, truth.

    35. Richard on October 15th, 2008 9:38 pm

Silly me … thinking that we’d have to wait until tomorrow to hear from Joe the Plumber.

His reaction to the debate is already on the wire:

Ohio plumber becomes focus of debate
      Associated Press

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Who is Joe the Plumber?

He is Joe Wurzelbacher, an Ohio man looking to buy a plumbing business who came to symbolize the notion of “spreading the wealth” in Wednesday night’s third and final presidential debate between Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain.

Earlier this week, when Wurzelbacher got a chance to speak with Obama when he visited Toledo, he told Obama that his tax plan would keep him from buying the business that currently employs him.

Sensing an opening in the debate, McCain cited that exchange when the candidates were asked to explain why their economic plans are better than their opponent’s. McCain said Obama’s plan would stop entrepreneurs from investing in new small businesses and keep existing ones from growing.

“Joe wants to buy the business that he has been in for all of these years, worked 10, 12 hours a day. And he wanted to buy the business but he looked at your tax plan and he saw that he was going to pay much higher taxes,” McCain challenged Obama.

“You were going to put him in a higher tax bracket which was going to increase his taxes, which was going to cause him not to be able to employ people, which Joe was trying to realize the American dream,” McCain said.

McCain then looked directly into the TV camera and said: “Joe, I want to tell you, I’ll not only help you buy that business that you worked your whole life for and I’ll keep your taxes low and I’ll provide available and affordable health care for you and your employees. And I will not stand for a tax increase on small business income.”

      Obama denied that was true.

“Not only do 98 percent of small businesses make less than $250,000, but I also want to give them additional tax breaks, because they are the drivers of the economy,” Obama said. “They produce the most jobs.”

So what did Wurzelbacher (pronounced whur-zell-BAHK-er) think about being at the center of the debate?

“It’s pretty surreal, man, my name being mentioned in a presidential campaign,” he said minutes after hearing McCain utter his name.

In Toledo on Sunday, Wurzelbacher told Obama that he was preparing the company, which earns more than $250,000 a year, and said: “Your new tax plan is going to tax me more, isn’t it?”

Obama said that under his proposal taxes on any revenue from $250,000 on down would stay the same, but that amounts above that level would be subject to a 39 percent tax, instead of the current 36 percent rate.

“And the reason why we’re doing that is because 95 percent of small businesses make less than 250 (thousand). So what I want to do is give them a tax cut. I want to give all these folks who are bus drivers, teachers, auto workers who make less, I want to give them a tax cut,” he said.

Wurzelbacher protested, saying he’s been a hardworking plumber for 15 years and why should he be taxed more.

“It’s not that I want to punish your success,” Obama said. “I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you that they’ve got a chance at success, too.”

At a later point in the discussion, Obama said: “I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody. But listen, I respect what you do and I respect your question, and even if I don’t get your vote, I’m still gonna be working hard on your behalf because small businesses are what creates jobs in this country and I want to encourage it.”

Wurzelbacher’s name came up again when the debate turned to a discussion of health care policies.

He said Obama’s reaction on the tax question left him feeling uneasy.

“I didn’t think much of it the first time I heard it,” Wurzelbacher said, adding that he still thinks Obama’s plan would keep him from buying the business.

About McCain: “He’s got it right as far as I go.”

Even so, Wurzelbacher declined to say which candidate would get his vote on Nov. 4.

“That’s for me and a button to know,” he said.

Perhaps dumbasses like Fire Fox wish to support all that is wrong with America vis a vi the spreading of the wealth but I as an American do NOT.

I work hard for my money and do not want any spreading of the wealth.

That is socialism pure and simple….

we are AMERICANS not socialists and I want my money in pocket to distribute as I desire..

I’m quite sure Joe the Plumber and Joe Sx Pack feels the same way.

God forbid we have to live as the jackasses in NYC, Chicago, LA and San Francisco co do..those people do NOT represent mainstream AMERICA

    37. Pat in Alabama on October 15th, 2008 10:08 pm

I make a lot less than $250,000/ year so I’m going to get some tax relief right? Wrong!

Here’s why. When old those big, mean corporations who make all the things we love have to pay additional taxes, what are they going to do? Are they going to hold the line on prices and take it out of their profits? No. They are going to pass this additional expense right back to you and me through increased prices of the goods and services we consume. This is called TRICKLE DOWN TAXES, and Obama is laughing all the way to the white house. He knows that most people in our country don’t have a clue that they are about to be hit with a major hidden tax.

    38. Pat in Alabama on October 15th, 2008 10:10 pm

Forgot to add: the price of everything will go up but our paychecks. Think about it.

    39. Fox Fire on October 15th, 2008 11:28 pm

      Pat:

The government just fed the economy over $785,000,000,000,000 dollars. Where do you think that goes? Eventually, it will get spent, passed around and fed into our economy. If they offer low interest rate loans on real estate, jump on it… and buy your second home by refinancing your equity.

Housing’s going to go back up.

I’m sure alot of that money paid to AIG went to help them cover expenses to rebuild in New Orleans and Texas. There are going to be jobs because we are not going to leave our brothers homeless. So don’t worry so much. Everything is going to be okay…

      Trust in the middle class…

      The working class…

There’s alot to do to gear ourselves up for the 21st Century!

But, don’t expect there to be alot of off-shore drilling, but I’m sure there will be in certain areas of the world, like the Gulf. Besides, those are the areas where alot of our reserves are. In the meantime, we need to think about giving tax credits for alternative energy, for research and development and for technical and medical research.

If we can get the cost of gas to go down and we know it will; the cost of living will go down drastically. The price per barrel is dropping, but, it always takes time for it to show up at the pump.

Obama is very bright, articulate, believes in what we believe in. He wants the best for our children. He is a young man full of energy that will work hard, not only for you and me, but for the betterment of mankind. He is a wonderful person… full of hope and that’s what our country needs. Corporations will tighten their belts. There will be a lot less partying by big corporations because everyone is being careful not to repeat those mistakes.

You don’t think those rich men who have lost money in the stock market feel it? They feel it and it’s going to take sacrifice on their part to make their retirement what it should be. The baby boomers are going to be putting in a few more years of work and that’s not such a bad thing. But we need to work on education because sooner or later, we need to hand this country over to our sons and daughters and they’re the ones that are going to feel the pinch. So we, really, need to build them a better world.

We can do it, if we try.

      .

That’s what I like about Obama. He breaths life back into us. And… we’ll drill in Alaska. Where there’s life, there’s hope.

      It’s just critical times,

      hard to deal with.

      Draw close to Jehovah.

      .

    40. Fox Fire on October 15th, 2008 11:53 pm

      What Obama said is true:

Most small corporations don’t make $250,000, especially in the first year. If I were offered a business that netted $50,000 out of $250,000 gross income, that’s a 20% profit. Not bad. If Joe was an excellent plumber, he’d build goodwill and as word got around, his gross income would go up and so would his net profit. If he lived in an area, like Galveston, Texas where plumbing is booming, he’d have to hire some people to keep up with the business. He’d not only be a small business corporation, making money, but he’d be supporting families.

      .

One more question on the debate:

      Who was humble?

      .

      Is being humble, simply saying,

you are going to be humble?

      .

      Is there humility in

being married to a woman half your age,

      owning twelve homes,

      and thirteen cars,

      being critical,

      rolling your eyes,

      acting lofty,

      hogging the microphone,

and telling everyone how stupid they are?

      .

      I think not!

Barack Obama doesn’t have to say he WILL be humble…

      He already is.

      .

      Priceless!
      ___________
SM: You have a strange definition of humility. What you are displaying is jealously.

Part of humility is not participating in class warfare. That is hardly being humble. Redistribution of other people’s wealth is hardly being humble. Lying about associations with Bill Ayers, Rev Wright, Tony Rezco and ACORN is hardly being humble.

Barack Obama is not humble … he is a politician pandering for votes … you may want to buy a vowel and get a clue.

It’s the only way he can bring all people to almost to a level playing field so he, along with the Democratic Congress can implement his socialist government programs. Did you know that some Dems are proposing to get rid of 401K plans and make all Americans enroll in government retirment plans? I’m not making this stuff up….

For many years I wondered why God “hardened Pharoah’s heart” in Exodus chapter 10, causing Pharoah to make decisions that brought judgement down on Egypt. It seemed very unfair… until I realized that the Israelites had been in Egypt for 400 years, and Eygpt still rejected their God. God gave Eygpt a leader who took them in the direction they wanted to go.

America is rejecting God more and more, and we are about to be given a leader who will take us exactly where we (collectively) want to go.
