Obama Mocks McCain in Ad that McCain does not use Email … Barack, Ever Wonder Why Barack You Classy Guy?

BARACK OBAMA MOCKS JOHN MCCAIN IN A POLITICAL AD FOR NOT USING EMAIL

There you go Obama … who knew that the use of email was a prerequisite for being the President of the United States. Now Obama has two items listed on his resume to be Commander and Chief, community organizer and emailer. By the way Barack … um … the disco ball was a nice effect; however, disco was not around in 1982. Check it out, not a single disco song in the Top 100.

Barack Obama mocked McCain in one of his most recent political ads as a man who is out of touch and a computer illiterate. Making fun of someone because they are old. There’s a winning policy for a battleground state like Florida. Democrats … mean isn’t funny. As a matter of fact, mean is just plain mean.

“Today is the first day of the rest of the campaign,” Obama campaign manager David Plouffe says in a campaign strategy memo. “We will respond with speed and ferocity to John McCain’s attacks and we will take the fight to him, but we will do it on the big issues that matter to the American people.”

The newest ad showcasing their hard line includes unflattering footage of McCain at a hearing in the early ’80s, wearing giant glasses and an out-of-style suit, interspersed with shots of a disco ball, a clunky phone, an outdated computer and a Rubik’s Cube.

So much for that respectful campaign and change that Obama promised everyone. Obama mocks John McCain in the fact that he does not use email so therefore he is out of touch with America and cannot lead. Do you think for one minute that Obama or his people ever wondered or better yet cared why John McCain did not email? Obama is going to regret this intentional gaffe. However, did the Obama people care to find out the reason why McCain does not use email or does that not matter? Is the mocking of McCain sufficient enough for the low lifes at Team Obama. Barack, since you are so in touch with today’s society and the world wide web I guess then toy know about that invention called the search engine? Well if anyone cared to actually wonder why McCain does not use email, read Jonah Goldberg’s article at The Corner and “Wonder no more”.

Well, I guess it depends on what you mean by “extraordinary.” The reason he doesn’t send email is that he can’t use a keyboard because of the relentless beatings he received from the Viet Cong in service to our country. From the Boston Globe (March 4, 2000): McCain gets emotional at the mention of military families needing food stamps or veterans lacking health care. The outrage comes from inside: McCain’s severe war injuries prevent him from combing his hair, typing on a keyboard, or tying his shoes. Friends marvel at McCain’s encyclopedic knowledge of sports. He’s an avid fan – Ted Williams is his hero – but he can’t raise his arm above his shoulder to throw a baseball.

So let us understand this, Obama makes fun of McCain and calls him out of touch for not using email yet Obama obviously cannot use “google” or any search engines on the internet to find out why? Al Gore invented the internet, wouldn’t he have shown Obama what to do? I guess Barack Obama would call Bill Clinton an out of touch President for only sending 2 emails in 8 years?

The archives of the Bill Clinton presidential library will contain 39,999,998 e-mails by the former president’s staff and two by the man himself. “The only two he sent,” Skip Rutherford, president of the Clinton Presidential Foundation, which is raising money for the library, said on Monday.

So according to Obama because McCain does not email, he is therefore out of touch and not fit to be President. Barack … FDR could not walk, did that diminish is ability to be President in your eyes as well?

Goldberg even goes one better in finding a New York Times article that makes it sound as if McCain is web savvy and can use a mouse which then would make Obama’s ad false.

There is something terribly insidious about the entire Obama campaign lately. Is it any wonder that they are failing in the polls and heading south fast. The attacks on Palin have been beyond the pale. Attacking her and questioning Palin in a manner that no man would ever be. Now after praising McCain’s service to America, Obama mocks McCain for injuries received during that service. First we had lipsticking a pig and all of the Obama apologists claimed it was innocent and had nothing to do with Palin. I guess this is innocent too?

Barack Obama. What a classless turd.

It’s one screw-up after another it seems for the Obama campaign.

Take this accidental lipstick gaffe for example. Sure, it was unintentional. I don’t personally think he was referring to Palin directly. but that isn’t the point. The point is that it was *INTERPRETED* by people to mean something offensive.

What happens when Obama, being the swell guy he is, starts making small talk with a Hindu leader and unintentionally slips in a jest about the proverbial “sacred cow”?

No, you’ve got to be sharper than that to run a country. You need to know when it’s time to walk on eggs, and when it’s time to throw them.

Obama has neither the wisdom or foresight to handle this task, and our country will be in grave danger if he’s given an ounce of power.

No kidding Dugga! I also read on Free Republic that Bill Clinton admitted to only sending 2 emails (yes…2) the entire 8 yrs he was president becuase he was “computer illiterate”. Oh, really? Wow! How’d he manage to become president without anyone noticing his lack of computer skills?

I think McCain should come out with a commercial showing his physical disabilities from the horrific beatings he received as a POW and mention he “cannot use a keyboard or comb his hair or tie his shoes”, but that hasn’t kept him from forging ahead in life. Doesn’t even have to say a word about Obamanation’s retardo comment…the point will get across to anyone with an IQ with at least 2 digits….

Also, the fact Biden may be on the way out and Hitlery on the way in is just crap! Can Obama make any decision right the FIRST time? He has refused to salute the flag, mentioned his “Muslem faith” only to be corrected by the interviewer, and also once said “the 57 states of America”. Lord! There happen to be 57 Muslem states….another “accident” by a man who’s opponent has a VP pick that strongly stated “you cannot blink”.

I’m voting McCain and Palin. If the “Messiah” wins, we may as well be ready for some nasty times ahead.

“What happens when Obama, being the swell guy he is, starts making small talk with a Hindu leader and unintentionally slips in a jest about the proverbial “sacred cow”?”

      HOLY COW!

A tad off the subject but when I went on vacation I ate a Rueben sandwich with corn fed BISON! Along with an energy policy we need to replace the lowly cow with herds and herds of this beautiful creature. It is the best meat I have every eaten.

Back to Obama and McCain aka the Punch and Judy show:

This comic-drama will play itself out until the debates and whether the American public is tired yet of the economy, energy and if we want to incur into Iran or challenge Russia(which has been and is getting more chummy with Venezuela, starting an oil alliance?).

If we have to pay more companies with our tax dollars to move our jobs to foreign countries that is not going to help McCain either and he seems to keep a low key(ie, a wink and a nod) on illegal immigration like his democratic counterpart does. He seems to support this as well.

Obama seems to pick one pocket of ours and McCain the other.

What to do? Easy. Vote for the one that you feel more sorry for rather than the issues, because the issues are blurred too much on both sides.

I still wonder why McCain was “swift-boated” by his party in 2000. They sure didn’t put any emphasis on his service to his country then. As a matter of fact they took Bush’s service with more credence and honor, and that was a shame to do to McCain back then.

Unlike Dugga, I don’t think these “gaffes” are accidental. If you go back and review Obama’s “gaffes” they all seem to offer plausible deniability, but they all come with a kindergarten type sense of humor. Think back to the finger gesture while talking about Hillary, his lipstick on a pig “gaffe” also included references to an “old fish”. His audience “caught” the message and that’s all Obama was going for.

But leaving the “gaffe” aside for a minute, why is being able to send an email important to a Presidency? Any “emailing” that needs to be done can be done by staffers. It’s not like the US Government is in a practice of conducting business through email. Actually I sort of like the idea that my president isn’t shooting off his mouth in emails! Remember, most emails are not a secure means of communication.

And, as McCain mentions preferring to read hard copies of newspapers to see where the story appears on the page, good communication requires voice inflections to ensure one understands the meaning of the communication. It would be a sad day when a President started making executive decisions based on email communication.

    5. Richard on September 13th, 2008 8:42 am

I’ve read that Warren Buffett doesn’t send e-mail either. He is the apostle of “value investing,” and has passed Bill Gates as the richest American.

Some say he’s the richest person in the world, but I’m not sure that that is true.

He has more money than I do, anyway.

I guess he should be scoffed at for not using e-mail, by Obama’s standard. Most of us would think he’s a pretty smart guy, though.

    6. brie. on September 13th, 2008 11:13 am

A Presidents job is to protect and secure a nation, you don’t do that through e-mails…so if Obama gets elected I guess he’ll be on the keyboard shooting off his mouth about issues that do not belong on the internet…

Obama certainly doesn’t represent a professional figure, I think he has a bad temper, mean, very CRUEL and sarcastic. He’s ego seems to get in his way all the time…

He got angry when something was said about Michelle. Obama is far worse….

      very good ad!
no need to whine about it.
there are very many different ways to use a computer / special keyboard when slightly handicapped.
and he does use a cell phone. so it’s not that bad.

mccain is such an out of touch elitist with his 9 houses.

ads byt the mccain campaign this week were full of lies by the way.
and the media, left and right is taking notice now finally.

    9. A New Girl on September 13th, 2008 1:45 pm

Would seem to me….if this new ad is trying to claim McCain is out of touch….that once again, they are back to harping on McCain’s age as a factor….they’re scrambling!! Don’t they have anywhere else to go?

Pretty sad. Don’t think the average American cares too much if a person chooses to use e-mail or not.

IMO, I view this as another pathetic attempt to knock McCain down and it’s AGEISM!

    10. Maggie on September 13th, 2008 2:09 pm

What about a president who talks to his 22 year old gf on the White House phones or puts himself in the position to be blackmailed by a 22 year old. It was Monica who said he was talking to a Congressman on the phone about troops in Bosnia while she was having sex with him.

I too believe he said that stuff about Palin.. Especially after seeing the picture being circulated by a paid for Democratic committee site with pictures of a pig with glasses, lipstick and pearls 11 days before Obama said that.. Obama seems to have a bit of reckless side to him also…

    11. Maggie on September 13th, 2008 2:14 pm

Thought this was funny..how soon they forget..

Sen. Barack Obama’s national press secretary, Bill Burton, accused Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) of “cynically running the sleaziest and least honorable campaign in modern presidential campaign history. His discredited ads with disgusting lies are running all over the country today. He runs a campaign not worthy of the office his is seeking.”

That was prompted by a McCain campaign statement about remarks Obama (D-Ill.) made in Manchester, N.H., on Saturday morning.

McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds thundered by e-mail: “During the event, Barack Obama showed zero restraint in the ferocity of his attacks despite the wreckage in the gulf and his running mate’s cancellation in reaction to it.

“It says a lot about Barack Obama’s judgment that while his campaign canceled his appearance on ‘Saturday Night Live’ and his running mate stayed home, Obama went ahead and delivered a series of scathing personal attacks. Today’s attacks mark a new low from Barack Obama.”

    12. brie. on September 13th, 2008 3:57 pm

Obama is a mad man and getting worse, he gets uglier everyday…McCain fought for the very ground that wise a~~ is standing on and he didn’t use a computer…McCain doesn’t need to use e-mail, he deals with issues that don’t belong on the computer where people can get access too….so what is Obama going to do if he makes it to the Oval Office play computer games, I guess his favorite game would be flip-flop, and shoot his mouth on issues should remain off the internet…

Obama is mean, his jealously is getting the best of him…

Referring to Palin as a pig…

Referring to McCain as an old fish…

Attacking Sarah and little Trig on issues of special needs…we all know the family has a child with down syndrome…Obama lied, Palin did not cut any spending for children with special needs, she signed a bill that will triple per pupil funding for over the next 3 years…

Remember Obama, your words, we don’t attack families…

The President has so much going on at any one time I doubt he has much time for email or surfing the web. If that’s what Obama is about he needs to stay in the do-nothing Senate.
