There’s Inexperience You Can Believe In … Majority Polled Think Obama is Too Inexperienced to Lead … McCain is Ready to Lead

Think this question won’t be on people’s minds right before they select a candidate?

Wonder why Barack Obama and his surrogates have been attacking Republican VP Obama_inexperiencedcandidate Sarah Palin on her experience as well as everything else under the sun? Ever wonder why Barack does not take McCain head on in an experience debate? The answer, Obama does not want the same Palin question of inexperience shined on him. Obama does not want the focus to be on his lack of experience to lead and for a very good reason. After more than 18 months of campaigning, the American public still thinks that Obama is not ready to lead. According to a recent Rasmussen Poll, a majority of voters say that only McCain and Biden are prepared to be President. 63% of voters state that John McCain is ready to lead right now, while only 44% think Barack Obama is. As a matter of fact, voters thing that Obama’s VP Joeseph Biden is more qualified to lead than Obama.

Sixty-three percent (63%) of voters say John McCain is prepared right now to be president, and 50% say the same thing about Democratic vice presidential candidate Joseph Biden. Forty-four percent (44%) say the man at the top of Biden’s ticket, Barack Obama, is ready, but 45% say he isn’t.

Just 26% say McCain is not ready, and 34% feel that way about Biden, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey.
Over half of voters (52%) say McCain’s running mate, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, is not prepared to be president, but 33% disagree

With such a wide gap in this all too important question as to who is more ready to lead, many last minute deciding voters may lean toward McCain when the election draws more near.

UPDATE I: A mjaority of American voters think Obama is not ready to lead. Even deep down Obama’s own VP does not think he is ready to be President.

      experience is overated
      ____________
SM: LOL, yea … all we need to remind ourself was the Carter Administration for that.

Hasn’t the LEFT railed for 8 years regarding GWB’s inexperience when he took office? That was a pre-911 world.

      Yes, that’s right … experience is over-rated … having a clue … a spine is as well.

Hell, Obama couldn’t even muster the stones to pick Hillary to be his VP, why would anyone think he has any experience to make any type of decision that would not be muddled by 99 other Senators?

When a company is looking for a CEO, they hardly consider the recent college graduate.

the only 2 people in this race with real world management management experience is mccain and palin. palin herself has more management experience than obama and biden combined. i just learned yesterday about alaska’s national guard being in total control of the u.s. northern missile defense apparatus. that alone would put a whole new perspective on palin’s life/death management capabilities.

Biden’s Son, Brother Named in Two Suits

By Kimberly Kindy and Joe Stephens
      Washington Post Staff Writers
      Sunday, August 24, 2008; A09

A son and a brother of Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr. (D-Del.) are accused in two lawsuits of defrauding a former business partner and an investor of millions of dollars in a hedge fund deal that went sour, court records show.

The Democratic vice presidential candidate’s son Hunter, 38, and brother James, 59, assert instead that their former partner defrauded them by misrepresenting his experience in the hedge fund industry and recommending that they hire a lawyer with felony convictions.

The legal actions have been playing out in New York State Supreme Court since 2007, and they focus on Hunter and James Biden’s involvement in Paradigm Companies LLC, a hedge fund group. Hunter Biden, a Washington lobbyist, briefly served as president of the firm.

A lawsuit filed by their former partner Anthony Lotito Jr. asserts in court papers that the deal was crafted to get Hunter Biden out of lobbying because his father was concerned about the impact it would have on his bid for the White House. Biden was running for the Democratic nomination at the time the suit was filed.

Hunter Biden was made president with an annual salary of $1.2 million, despite his inexperience in the hedge fund industry, the lawsuit said. Before that, he had been part of the Washington law firm Oldaker, Biden & Belair, which earned $1.76 million in lobbying revenue in the first half of 2006, according to Congressional Quarterly’s CQ MoneyLine. One of its biggest clients is the National Association of Shareholder and Consumer Attorneys, a District-based group representing law firms specializing in investment and corporate law.

      http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/08/23/AR2008082302200_pf.html

Hunter Biden is one of many children and relatives of prominent members of Congress who have made their careers as lobbyists. He returned to lobbying after less than a year with Paradigm.

Lotito’s lawsuit alleges that James Biden called him in January 2006 to arrange a job for Hunter Biden. It says James Biden told him that his brother (Sen. Biden) “was concerned with the impact that Hunter’s lobbying activities might have on his expected campaign for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination,” and, “Biden told Lotito that, in light of these concerns, his brother had asked him to seek Lotito’s assistance in finding employment for Hunter in a non-lobbying capacity.”

i hope they do this poll again after the “fundamentals of the economy are still strong” gaffe of mccain.

mccain/palin are both clueless about the economy they have shown.
that became crystal clear for everyone these last few days.
