John Edwards Admits affair with 44 year old Rielle Hunter, but said that he loved only his wife, Elizabeth and he is not a baby daddy. Sounds an awful lot like Bill Clinton when he said he smoked pot but he didn’t inhale. Looks like the Breck Girl lied when he was a Presidential candidate. So first Edwards was not at the Hollywood hotel, then he claimed there was no affair and now he claims that he is not a baby daddy. The Breck Girl hardly has any credibility.

In an interview for broadcast tonight on Nightline, Edwards told ABC News correspondent Bob Woodruff he did have an affair with 44-year old Rielle Hunter, but said that he loved only his wife, Elizabeth.
“Two years ago I made a very serious mistake,” Edwards said, blaming the prominence of being a vice presidential candidate. “All of which fed a self-focus, an egotism, a narcissism that leads you to believe that you can do whatever you want,” he said.
Edwards made a point of telling Woodruff that his wife’s cancer was in remission when he began the affair with Hunter. [Gee John, that makes it perfectly ok then]
John Edwards … YOU PIG!!! Take a good look what the Democrats almost had a heart beat away from the Presidency if John Kerry had ever won in 2004. John Edwards thinks that some how it lessens the fact that he had his affair when his wife Elizabeth Edwards’ cancer was in remission. Yeah, John that some how makes you less of a cheating liar that you had an affair didn’t have incurable cancer.
Edwards said the affair began during the campaign after she was hired. Hunter traveled with Edwards around the country and to Africa.
Edwards said he told his wife, Elizabeth, and others in his family about the affair in 2006.
“She was mad, she was angry, I think furious would be a good way to describe it,” Edwards said.
Edwards made a point of telling Woodruff that his wife’s cancer was in remission when he began the affair with Hunter. Elizabeth Edwards has since been diagnosed with an incurable form of the disease.
The Breck Girl should have spent more time combing his and trimming his hair than getting trim. Do you feel pretty now?

So once again a Democratic politician is a victim of the right wing conspiracy. Or is it a tabloid conspiracy? John Edwards plays his violin and states that being 99% honest is no longer enough. Oh shut up! I hardly think that your wife thinks that you are 99% honest. He started to believe he was special. Started to believe? So which America does a lying cheating dog live in?
In 2006, I made a serious error in judgment and conducted myself in a way that was disloyal to my family and to my core beliefs. I recognized my mistake and I told my wife that I had a liaison with another woman, and I asked for her forgiveness. Although I was honest in every painful detail with my family, I did not tell the public. When a supermarket tabloid told a version of the story, I used the fact that the story contained many falsities to deny it. But being 99% honest is no longer enough.

Let me get this right…his wife’s cancer was in remission when he was poking the hired help. Does this fact make it any less of a humiliation for his wife? Does that fact make it hurt his wife any less or make people think it was any less wrong? Edwards is an idiot.

What is it with these democratic women like Elizabeth Edwards, Hillary Clinton and even Jacquie Kennedy who sell their souls for the right to be First Lady knowing their husbands are cheating on them?
To believe this story, Elizabeth Edwards campaigned side by side her husband when she had insurable cancer knowing he had an affair.
Wonder if he admitted the affair but not the baby? Hmm. That escalates this story to a whole new realm.
this is so sad and pathetic.. his wife has cancer and he is out galaventing around…with another woman.. this is the saddest thing I have heard.. my heart goes out to his dying wife..its so heart breaking… totaly…. god help his wife to get through this…
No sympathy for the wife. She KNEW they had this in the background all during the campaign. This could have blown up when he was the presidential candidate, the vp candidate, or even elected to either office. With a huge cost to the American people in chaos and confusion. No rational thinking by either him or her.

I guess in politics, if your the wife you can expect your husband to go down the cheating road…and are suppose to continue to stand by his side…as far as Elizabeth is concerned, she was very ill and I guess she couldn’t endure anymore than what she was already dealing with, I don’t think she was in any kind of a healthy state and couldn’t deal with a battle…but what a creep…the stress of dealing with cancer and then find out your husband has cheated on you…and he thinks people will forget about this…
He believes he is a some kind of a sex object…
In defense of Elizabeth, think about it a minute. She stated that she previously that her cancer may take her sooner that later. That being said, she has two very young children by John Edwards (aka cheating slimebag) What is she gonna do? Leave him and then worry about what happens to the kids? I so wanted to believe that this wasn’t true. I had alot of admiration for Edwards, just because of being friends with some relatives of his who are just the sweetest, most christian, humble people that I know. I figured that he had to come from a good mold. Guess what? He sure proved me wrong. What a Slimeball. I hope this is the end of your political career and you have to move back to Seneca with your tail tucked beneath you. Better yet would be for Elizabeth to leave you and you go to your mistress.
