Barack Obama is actually afraid to debate. How can anyone be President of the United States if they are afraid to answer tough questions? News flash to the Obama camp … Americans like Presidents with character and some guts. As it was suggested at Hot Air … new campaign strategy, make Obama look like a complete wimp.

The Barack Obama campaign is in a tail spin. Obama finds himself clinging on for dear life as the more people find out about him, his past, his connections and his character … the more voters are turning away. Fresh off the Pennsylvania disastrous debate and butt kicking in the Primary … The S.S. Obama finds itself taking on water and sinking.

After an important primary win in Pennsylvania, Hillary Clinton has reduced Democratic rival Barack Obama’s double-digit lead among registered Democrats and voters leaning Democratic by more than half, according to the latest NEWSWEEK poll. Plagued by controversies over Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s comments and the candidate’s own “bitter” remarks, Obama has seen his favorability rating slip significantly in the last week, the poll found.

Isn’t it amazing what happens when the public, WE THE PEOPLE, are informed as to what a candidate is really all about as opposed to the spin and false promises of hope and unity. Obama is all but ducking Hillary in debates. If we were to compare Obama’s strategy to basketball, he would be in a 4 – corners stall looking to run out the clock and hope he is still ahead as the horn sounds.

Obama has stated that he will not debate Hillary Clinton before the next primary. Barack, what are you afraid of? Maybe having another disastrous debate like the last time? Or is it actually having the media hold your feet to the fire and throw you fast balls rather the the softballs you have been given during most of the primaries.

Asked why he was repeatedly “ducking” Clinton’s debate challenges before the Indiana and North Carolina primaries, Obama said, as he has before, that he just wants to spend time with voters.

“I’m not ducking. We’ve had 21 (debates), and so what we’ve said is, with two weeks, two big states, we want to make sure we’re talking to as many folks possible on the ground taking questions from voters,” he said, so no debates.

“We’re not going to have debates between now and Indiana,” he said.

Hillary Clinton has challenged Obama … Let’s debate like Lincoln. Instead Obama says let’s get in our Lincoln and drive out of Dodge.

Sen. Hillary Clinton called for a Lincoln-Douglas-style debate with no moderator against her rival, Sen. Barack Obama, who says no more debates are needed before the May primaries.

In a TV interview to air Sunday, Obama flat-out denied any possibility that he would take part in a debate with Clinton before the next big round of primaries.

If Cindy Sheehan successfully gets 10,198 signatures from friends, supporters and fellow moonbats, she will be battling Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for the CA Congressional seat this Fall. Call it Godzilla vs. Mothra or better yet … “The Battle of the Moonbats”.

Please sign her petition, we beg you!!! Maybe Hugo Chavez can send in a proxy signature from Venezuela? That is if his signature was allowed, but when has that ever stopped anyone. What better way to show just how LEFT the SF area has gone than to allow Sheehan to battle Pelosi for her seat.

Sheehan was at San Francisco City Hall on Friday to take out papers for her independent run for Congress, but without those signatures from voters in the district, her name won’t show up on the ballot.

“It’s an uphill battle,” said Sheehan, who vowed to run against Pelosi in July after the speaker refused to start impeachment proceedings against President George Bush. “But I’m excited about the signature-gathering process. It’s going to be an opportunity to talk to people about our campaign.”

To get the signatures, equal to 3 percent of the district voters registered for the 2006 general election, the campaign will have people setting up ironing boards and card tables on street corners throughout the city, seeking voters who want an alternative to Pelosi. Sheehan has until Aug. 8 to collect the needed signatures. (San Francisco Chronicle)

In the mind of Sheehan, it would appear that because Pelosi refused to bring impeachment proceedings against President GWB, a vote for Pelosi is a vote for Bush. Hmm.

Third Fatal Traffic Accident This Week Claims Life in Aruba … 9 Fatalities This Year on “One Safe Road”

Driving the safe roads of Aruba? Plan on renting a car when on vacation? 78 year old Edgar Renfrum became the 3rd traffic fatality alone this week in Aruba and the 9th this year. The roads in Aruba this year have become like a demolition derby of carnage.

The jeep in which Renfrum was, came from Dakota and wanted to turn on the main road towards the airport.  However, the driver failed to yield, and the car that was coming from the direction of the airport hit the jeep on the driver’s side. 

Just one more reason why not to get into a car with three people after leaving Carlos n’ Charlie’s. If the suspects don’t get you, another driver will.

Well-known former soccer player dies in traffic (Amigoe: 4/24/2008)

The traffic on the main road from Oranjestad to San Nicolas has claimed another life yesterday. 

ORANJESTAD — Edgar Renfrum, a former soccer player from Dakota that caused furore in the sixties, died in a traffic accident last Wednesday.

The accident took place around noon near the intersection at Price Smart.  The jeep in which Renfrum was, came from Dakota and wanted to turn on the main road towards the airport.  However, the driver failed to yield, and the car that was coming from the direction of the airport hit the jeep on the driver’s side.  At first, it didn’t look like the passengers of both cars were inured.  However, the 78-year old Renfrum that was in the back of the jeep, had died.  Reanimation attempts were in vain; he seemed to have died from a cardiac arrest.

This is the third fatal traffic accident this week.  The total number of fatalities in traffic this year is 9. 

Actor Wesley Snipes Given 3 Years For Tax Evasion …. Prisoner 57

This time the rich, powerful and elite did not elude justice. Wesley Snipes will soon be learning in prison if “White Men Can Jump” as he was sentenced to a maximum of 3 years on tax evasion.

Snipes was the highest-profile criminal tax target in years, and prosecutors called for a heavy sentence to deter others from trying to obstruct the IRS. The government alleged Snipes made at least $13.8 million for the years in question and owed $2.7 million in back taxes.

Maybe this will be a sign of things to come that people of privilege and wealth cannot evade the law. Now its up to future juries to stop being star struck by people they perceive as important. It looks like Prisoner 57 will be headed off to prison, not a Hollywood set. Think the judge was not upset that Snipes had dodged the fraud charges against him?

Wesley Snipes called on famous friends to vouch for him, highlighted his clean criminal record and even wrote the government $5 million in checks — all in an effort to convince a judge that his conviction on tax charges should cost him nothing more than home detention and some public service announcements.

None of it worked. The “Blade” actor was ordered to do hard time.
Snipes was sentenced to three years in prison Thursday for failing to file tax returns, the maximum penalty — and a victory for prosecutors who sought to make an example of the action star. (FOX News)

Luke Mullins of The Collar provides us with some comforting new that all the spin and BS from Hollywood could not save Snipe’s bacon. Hollywood certainly has a distorted definition of character and integrity.

Obama Pastor Reverend Wright Says His Words were Twisted … Whose Chickens are Coming Home to Roost?

It appears that Reverend Wright and Barack Obama’s chickens are coming home to roost. The 20 year relationship with Reverend Wright has many Americans scratching their heads and thinking twice about the judgement of candidate Obama.

Reverend Jeremiah A. Wright, the gift that keeps on giving. Or in the case of Barack Obama, the story that keeps rearing its ugly head. Barack Obama’s pastor for 20 years has come out of hiding and is now defending his comments as people trying to twist his words. Think the timing is not coincidental to Obama’s 10 point loss in the Pennsylvania Primary earlier this week? Think again.

Reverend Wright and Barack Obama are learning a valuable lesson in Freedom of Speech. You have the right to say anything and express an opinion. However, there are consequences. No one has to listen to you, no one has to agree with you and most importantly those opinions formulated from your speech will last a life time.

Listen to that speech, there is nothing redeeming about it.
