State of Florida to Offer Christian License Plate … “I Believe” … Wait for the ACLU Screams of Separation of Church & State

The state of Florida is looking to pass legislation that will make it possible for Church_state_separationThe Sunshine State drivers to purchase license plates that say, “I Believe”. I can already hear the ACLU and the atheists screaming at the top of their collective lungs … separation of church and state. Why? It’s not because of any noble cause, it is because they fear religion. However, because we  have all but bastardized the concept of separation of church and state, the loons and anti-religion crowd will be out in force opposing this.

Why then did our fore Fathers produce so many documents and reference religion if there was supposed to be the “separation” that people whine about today? Why was the expression of religion of for so long and now people have an issue with every reference? If they “believe” religion is nothing, why do they care so much?

Some lawmakers say the state should be careful. Rep. Kelly Skidmore said she is a Roman Catholic and goes to Mass on Sundays, but she believes the “I Believe” plate is inappropriate for the government to produce.

“It’s not a road I want to go down. I don’t want to see the Star of David next. I don’t want to see a Torah next. None of that stuff is appropriate to me,” said Skidmore, a Democrat who voted against the plate in committee. “I just believe that.”

Honestly, what would be so wrong for one to have a license plate that promotes hope and the belief that there is some thing greater than one’s self? Are people to actually believe that hope and believing only comes from the government? Hardly!

Florida drivers can order more than 100 specialty license plates celebrating everything from manatees to the Miami Heat, but one now under consideration would be the first in the nation to explicitly promote a specific religion.

The Florida Legislature is considering a specialty plate with a design that includes a Christian cross, a stained-glass window and the words “I Believe.”

RED Reports Against Premier Nelson Oduber & Minister of Tourism and Transport Edison Briesen … Accountability, Forgery & Bribery?

Corruption in government in Aruba? Say it isn’t so. So says Rudy Lampe and Armand Hessels of RED. Supposedly Prime Minister Nelson Oduber and Minister of Tourism and transport, Edison Briesen, are being accused of violations of the accountability act, forgery and possible bribery. So the thought is brought to mind, how does a tourist who has a crime committed against them get a fair shot of justice then?

Party-leader Rudy Lampe of opposition party RED and his fellow party member Armand Hessels reported violation of the accountability act and forgery in the harbour project in Aruba against Premier Nelson Oduber (MEP) and his fellow party member Minister of Tourism and transport, Edison Briesen, with the Public Prosecutor (OM) on Monday afternoon.  According to RED, there is supposedly also bribery involved.

Hillary Clinton Hammers Obama 55%-45% to Win PA Primary … Obama, Who’s Bitter Now?

Obama, did you wake up this morning feeling bitter after last nights 10 point loss in PA? Maybe you should buy a gun or attend church. Hmm …

Hillary Takes Pennsylvania

Isn’t it amazing what happens in a Primary when the people know what a candidate is all about? The liberal main stream media has carried the water and been in the tank for Obama since the outset. Now Americans are beginning to see the real Barack Obama and look at the results …

In the wake of “Bittergate” Hillary Clinton thoroughly defeated Barack Obama last night in the Pennsylvania Primaries, 55%-45%. It appears that Clinton’s people were correct as their internal polls showed Hillary with a 10–11 point lead in the Key Stone State. Two things have become obvious, Barack Obama cannot close the deal on gaining the nomination for the Democratic Party and Obama is no longer the clean shaven, innocent, pure candidate of change that he once proclaimed.

While visiting a polling location in a Philadelphia suburb, Clinton seemed confident that she will pull off a win here, but made sure to lower expectations of how big that win will be. “A win is a win, especially under the circumstances when my opponent has outspent me probably 3 to 1, maybe 4 to 1, an enormous effort on his part on TV and radio on the phone, every way that is imaginable try to win Pennsylvania,” she said. “So I think a win under these circumstances is a terrific accomplishment.”

Hillary Clinton Outduels Obama in Primary; however, in the long run Republican John McCain may be the real winner in Pennsylvania come November.

Democrats should be extremely concerned over the exit polls from the PA Primary. In November, Independents will vote for McCain along with many disgruntled individuals from the losing Democratic camp.

Obama racked up margins of more than 90 percent among Pennsylvania’s black voters, who are heavily concentrated around Philadelphia. African-Americans made up about 14 percent of Tuesday’s vote, and whites made up about 80 percent — and voted 60-40 for Clinton.

The last week of campaigning included a bruising debate between Obama and Clinton, who also pounded her rival for a recent remark that decades of economic decline had left some rural voters “bitter” and clinging to religion and guns. CNN exit polls showed that nearly a quarter of state voters made their decisions in the past week, and those voters leaned toward Clinton by a margin of 56 percent to 44 percent.

By the way Obama … who is bitter now, what are you clinging to?
