The Stories are Flying as to How Anna Nicole Smith Died,Toxic Level of Sleep Medication is the Word
The autopsy is supposed to be finally released on this coming Monday as to the cause of death of Anna Nicole Smith according to a press conference from Medical Examiner, Dr. Joshua Perper . Its about time, its not like they have not had the results for weeks. The buzz and rumors out their is that Anna Nicole Smith died of a lethal and toxic level of sleep medication, chloral hydrate.
At therapeutic doses (and without the introduction of alcohol and other depressants), chloral produces few negative side effects and is competent in promoting sleep. Although chloral hydrate is still encountered today, its use has declined with the introduction of other barbiturates.
Toxic level of sleeping medication? Blood infections? Non-sterile needles? 105 degree temperature? Didn’t Anna Nicole Smith pay people to handle her?
Anna Nicole Smith died of a lethal level of a potent sleep medication, but she had a raging blood infection that could have killed her had she not overdosed, an exclusive report revealed yesterday.
Smith took the speedy sleep-inducer chloral hydrate, which is sometimes used in “date rape” drugs, the night of Feb. 7 and never woke up, according to a joint investigation by sister publications the National Enquirer and the Star.
In its most stunning disclosure, the report says Smith’s life might have been saved had she simply gone to a hospital rather than treating her severe fever, nausea and other infection symptoms on her own. (Daily News)
Publications are also stating that Anna Nicole Smith’s infection that caused a 105 degree temperature was apparently caused from a non-sterlized needle. All this under the steady care of Howard K. Stern. Maybe Howard K. Stern can explain what was the importance of having Anna Nicole Smith get on a plane so ill and why he left her alone in a hotel room. Maybe a doctor or a hospital might have been the answer? You really took care of her well, didn’t you?
The ENQUIRER learned that just before she left the Bahamas for Florida on February 5, three days before she died, Anna Nicole received an injection in her left buttock.
Tests did not reveal what that substance was.
“As she boarded the plane for Miami, Anna Nicole developed a painful abscess at the site of the injection,” said a source with knowledge of the case. “The needle wasn’t sterile. The pain kept getting worse as the abscess got larger and larger very quickly.” (Star Magazine)

Reminds me of punji stakes, treated and intended to infect and kill. A technique around since Roman times.
I got some in my left hand, which did not infect…wonder if the ole boy had to try this several times?
The bottom-line is no other person is responsible for managing (?) another. ANS was responsible for her own death and no other. Money, drug addiction, depression, do not take the ultimate responsibility from her hands and place it with HKS or any other member of her entourage. Had she been deemed mentally incompetent then maybe the fault would not have been hers, but this is not the case.
I believe that there should be an investigation into murder and Daniel’s death to see if this drug was found in his system, too. However I cannot believe this story about the abscess on her buttocks. There was only a bruise found on her back. Also, ENQUIRER, do some research before you publish something – Chloral Hydrate only comes in pill and syrup form. It is not injectable. If it is true that this drug is why she died, this could very well turn into a murder investigation. The drug is unidentifiable without special testing. It can’t be detected easily. Plus some of what this article says doesn’t match what the facts are that we know already. If it is true, it certainly could have been better written.
If this is all true and she did have a high fever like that, then she certainly would not have been able to make a decision about whether to go to a hospital or not.
She had a doctor right there who should have been able to make the decision for Anna.
“and why he left her alone in a hotel room.”
She wasn’t alone. She was with her nurse and for part of the time her bodyguard. Yes Howard was her lawyer/boyfriend but there were 2 other people who could have tried to convince her to go to the hospital.
The fact is she didn’t want to go to avoid the publicity. We all think we are invincible. It’s not right to try to blame Howard for this.
I think the facilitators and co-hoots around her certainly felt deserved guilt, rendering them fearfull to take her to a hospital early enough. Thinking she likely had bouts previously in their demented care, and can imagine they let her get better and clean out some before they could take her to a hospital…around honest docs, cops, blood work that can be done on the thinnest viens.
STERN = Enabler, Greedy, Manipulate, Insecure Momma’s Boy who was Obsessed with a Star he never had sex with. Hope Howard gets his ass evicted soon from the Bahamas house and that the true biological Father of this child gets custody and raises the child without the INFLUENCE of this poor excuse of a Man.
Yeah, Howard–real nice job of taking care of a woman who supposedly was “your world”. Certain this LOSER had something to do with assisting her deceased Son in procuring his drugs as well. Shame.
Two great and impeachable sources you obtain info from.
Credibility is built on using sources that have a moderate level of veracity. The Enquirer and the Star are known to lack veracity and credibility.
The fact that you use both exhibits your credibility or lack thereof.
I heard that Howard was at the boat dealership when he got a call on his cell phone. He told the salesman that it was an emergency and that he had to go. It was a 20 minute drive to the hotel where upon his arrival, they waited an additional 20 minutes longer before they called 911.
What the ?!?!?!?!?
Why wouldn’t the nurse call 911 BEFORE calling Stern? Maybe they had stuff (something to hide) in that hotel room that needed to be cleaned out before they called the ambulance… meanwhile Anna was dying.
I also heard that her body tissue had enough methadone in it to kill the average man, but her resistance was high enough that she wasn’t effected by it and that she had been given a shot of Demoral, which is highly unusual except in a hospital setting… and it was that in combination with the methadone that killed her.
The rumor mills are churnin’ so it will be a relief to finally know what happened… and if there was foul play, get on with an investigation.
